More war? "Bones" to Korea, "BUFFs" to Iran!

Better hurry up Joe! Your time is almost up. If you really want to finish up your term with more war, or worse yet, leave a REAL hot mess for Donald Trump in January, you are doing a great job in stirring up the caldron. With World War III a whisker's width away from us right now, sending B-1 bombers to South Korea, even for a short termed joint exercise, and B-52 bombers to the Middle East as a warning to Iran, is NOT pouring water on the fire. It is pouring gas on the fire.

Did Joe Biden miss the part in the Beatitudes about "blessed be the peacemakers"? INYMI, Kim of North Korea now has up to 50 nuclear missiles and is itching to use a few on the south. And maybe even further than the south, like Guam, Japan or even Hawaii. With this latest agreement of some type that Putin has with Kim, we have no idea of what Russia promised Kim in return for the 10,000 Korean troops Kim sent to fight in Ukraine. Whatever it is, it is not good.

We have already shown the muscle of our B-2 bombers in Yemen. Might as well add them into the mix. B-1 bombers in the Korean Peninsula, B-52 bombers in the Middle East, and B-2 bombers in Yemen. Not bad for a president like Joe Biden who has let much or our military readiness lapse under his watch. Why will Trump need to spend so much money when he is elected? To fix this shortfall with our military and get us back to peacemakers at the same time. Just as a reminder, the world (compared to now) was somewhat peaceful when Trump was the 45th POTUS. As Reagan would say, "Peace through strength". 

Normally, I would be less concerned about the provocation of sending nuclear bombers over to a trouble spot. But Kim is a nut ball. He is a few fries short of a Happy Meal. I don't trust him, not a bit. For him to have dozens of nukes (with the associated ballistic missiles) at his fingertips, is worse than leaving a box of matches with a two-year-old. Of course, Biden does not talk to Kim like Trump did. Sometimes, talking, and using the correct verbal persuasion, is the better route to take.

I guess I am okay however, with the B-2 bombers raining hell down on the Houthis in Yemen. They are international terrorists for what they are doing to the shipping in the Red Sea. We just need to keep the lid on until January when Trump's swearing in takes place. But - if somehow through creative vote counting, Harris wins instead of Trump, and it is her being sworn in - then it will not matter. She will keep us on the same hellhole trajectory that Biden has us on.   

  

Maybe things will not be okay on Wednesday...

"The days of wine and roses are over. Myself? I am hoping that Trump wins. He deserves a second term. But if his second term is one of frustration by not getting anything done - plus being impeached a dozen or more times, maybe his victory would not be worth it."

I was listening to someone on the news yesterday, and he said something very interesting - maybe even profound. It might not matter who wins the election. Why? With the country so evenly divided, the House and Senate are also going to be evenly divided. For now, at least, mandates are a thing of the past. Because of that, presidents have become neutered. One side who is not in control, will focus their hate on derailing the new president. The side who is in control, will have to constantly fight off the other side. Meanwhile, especially in the House, getting the president's priorities in some kind of legislative format might be a bridge too far. And if the Senate is made up of those who oppose this new president - good luck with that one.

Does anyone think those who truly hate Donald Trump, in the electorate or in the legislative part of our government - will stop hating him should he be elected? And does anyone think those who truly think Kamala is a phony and an airhead, will think differently of her should she be elected? No - as the saying goes, the hatred runs deep in this land at this point in time. Half the country will not accept Trump as president, and the other half will not accept Kamala as president. Living in the WH could be a toxic brew of hate and resentment. 

What will be the net result in getting anything done? From the playbook, the new president will resort to using (as Obama said), "A pen and a phone" to get stuff done. But Executive Orders are as weak as the paper they are written on. Everyone hates them, and they are easily reversable. Plus - for Kamala to tinker around with our tax code, she will need willing friends in the House and Senate to pull it off. An easy task? Not hardly.

Kamala would get less done. This whole "Joy in the morning" thing has worn thin on many. For her to garner support for some of the hairbrained ideas on tax reform she came up with, will be tough to impossible. She will of course blame Trump for her failures, and then his MAGA crowd who fills up half the House and Senate.

Oh, that is right - Trump's MAGA crowd also fills the streets and towns of this great nation. Translated? If Trump loses, he may be done, but not the folks who believe in his message. Those folks, and that message, will live on for a long, long time.   

    

Israel and Trump

"Some wonder if Trump might be the man for all seasons. He is in my book. This is his last hurrah. Once this term is up, he is done. He knows that and wants to make everything he does during this term count." 

Are many people in this country nervous about the election? You bet they are! But guess what? Israel is just as nervous as we are. Why? The United States, their best friend in the world, for the first time this past four years, went "soft" on them. Just when they needed our support the most. Even though Kamala is on the campaign trail saying that she will be friend of Israel and never desert her, the believability is stretched thin on that one. Many times, the citizens and patriots in America wondered if Biden had Israel's best interest at heart, or of it was Iran's. Just saying...

What about Trump? How does Israel feel about Trump? Simply put, they love him. And they know they can trust him. As much as Trump abhors war and death, he would help Israel right the ship of injustice in the Middle East. He would make Israel safe to live in once again, no matter what the cost. Why would he do that? Trump knows how important friendship is overseas. He values Netanyahu and the good people of Israel. Trump moved the American embassy (as promised). Trump started the Abraham Accords, which changed the entire mix in the Middle East. No, Israel loves Trump and does not trust Kamala. Enough said on that issue.

Sometime, probably not on election day, we will know the results of the election. The nation waits. The world waits. Israel waits. Will the United States follow the Holy Bible like it did during our founder's days? Or will we continue on this secular vent which take us away from what our destiny should be. Someone said this election is so pivotal, as it will not only define the economic course of our future, but also the moral course. The secular vs. sacred course. Yes, it is that important. Most of us can't trust Kamala as far as her word salad would go in a meaningful discourse. And her Veep? Please, don't get me started.

Some wonder if Trump might be the man for all seasons. He is in my book. This is his last hurrah. Once this term is up, he is done. He knows that and wants to make everything he does during this term count. If he should go down in defeat this time around, it will not be for lack of effort or ideas. It could be because of that mysterious force which also haunted the 2020 election. 

All I know is this - we need Trump now more than ever. The world needs Trump. Israel needs Trump. Without Trump, and with Kamala, we will sink into the tar pits. It really is as simple as that. 

The mess - inherited

"No, this job of POTUS is one few would want, and even fewer can do. This country is a mess, and either Trump or Harris will be elected to fix it. NEWS FLASH - don't expect miracles. Especially from Harris."    

Are you sure you really want this job? I know, I know - the glamor of buzzing around on Air Force One and being saluted all the time. But holy cat whiskers Batman - this country is a mess right now. And once the campaign is over, and the streamers and balloons are picked up, the hard work begins. Even though Kamala uses the word "work" quite often, this DEI graduate does not have a clue on where work begins or what it means. To make this country better in 2028 than it is in 2024 might be a bridge too far for Kamala. Heck, this might even tax the Donald. Why do I say that? Biden did a job on America once he was sworn in. And now it is a hot mess.

To start with, Obama first lit the fire of division during his term. Since Biden was his Veep, he learned well. Whomever wins, will inherit a nation deeply divided and filled with hate. E Pluribus unum has long ago dissolved down the drain of apathy in America. We have millions of illegals who don't belong here. What to do with them, is a natty issue which will be tied up in our court system for years. Meanwhile, our great nation is awash with deadly drugs, gangs, and trafficking of all kinds. 

The bean counters have figured out which candidate will lower our national debt. Neither one is the answer. To fix things, Trump will need to add about $5T on to the already huge debt. Harris will add about $3T just for BS we don't need. Meanwhile, our national defense items need work and money. Our troops need to come back from pronoun and DEI la-la land and, once again learn how to break things and kill people (if called on to do so). Just to get our Navy up to parity with the Chicoms again, could take hundreds of billions. 

Who will bring our prices back down to what they were? Nobody will. The soup is already made. We are stuck with the Biden/Harris 20% increase in prices. The suffering of the middle to lower classes will continue. At best, Trump could hammer our inflation rate back down to just over 1%. But that will be about it. Harris? No clue on what to do, other than go after the grocery "Price gougers" (whatever that means).

The day of the wrong turn, and the churches going mute

"Here is the issue for this coming Tuesday. About half the country is hopeful that Kamala Harris is our next president. The other half think we are on the wrong road and only Donald Trump can fix this mess. Is there any national agreement right now? Nope - oil and water."

I need to be Captain Obvious for a minute. Four years ago on Tuesday, our country took a wrong turn. Not a little wrong turn, but a major change in direction. To make matters worse, the fraud we elected as our president, was not the "most religious man" ever to sit in the Oval Office. On the contrary, because of his stance on abortion, many Catholic Churches thought he should be denied communion. But other than those handful of Catholic Parishes, churches were mostly muted on this past election. Shame - we could have really used their support.

On Tuesday, we have the chance to correct this misguided course correction we took. The one which took us down this bumpy road and closer to World War III. The churches also have a chance to find their voice once again. Why? Someone recently said abortion is nobody's business except the mother. It should be kept out of the government. I responded that I could not agree more. It is not a legal issue - it is a moral issue. If the churches cannot proclaim it as such, the evil of abortions on demand, that is how we got to this unsolvable dilemma. All of a sudden, abortion on demand is the core campaign issue for Kamala Harris. Period.

America is a good country, but not as good as it once was. We have lost our spiritual compass. We wander, when we should lead. America, the land in which the world could count on in times of trouble, is now leading from behind. Our military is stuck in the morass of weird pronouns and DEI mishmash. We have people from over 100 countries walking across our southern border like it never existed. Plus, many who illegally sneak into this country have never been vetted. That is not the America I grew up in - not even close.

Here is the issue for this coming Tuesday. About half the country is hopeful that Kamala Harris is our next president. The other half think we are on the wrong road and only Donald Trump can fix this mess. Is there any national agreement right now? Nope - oil and water. To those backing Harris, a Trump victory would be the end of the world. For those backing Donald Trump, a Harris victory would be the end of the universe (as we know it). Why do the Trump backers say that? We limped through the past four years. It is doubtful we can limp for another four. Maybe not even crawl.

I am sorry I need to repeat this, but it is vitally important to our country. Up to 40 million self-described Christians, many of whom abhor abortion, are not going to vote on Tuesday. To make matters worse, 15 million of those are not even registered to vote. Should Trump lose the election, this could very well be the reason why. It would be the biggest self-inflicted wound in the history of elections.

Ladies and gentlemen, this Tuesday it is for all the marbles. Period. Full stop. If you have not yet voted, please get out there and help Team Trump. This time for real, failure is not an option.  

   

The Harris pickle in the middle

"This is indeed a problem for Harris - especially if she has a Republican House and/or Senate. Getting the right kind of bill crafted to make everyone happy will be bridge too far. And we all know how things work in Washington - they don't. The tax cuts will expire without action, and Harris will be about as popular as a root canal." 

Ever since I was old enough to shave, I had heard this tired old argument. "Republicans are only interested in getting tax cuts to the rich". This argument has long ago been proven to be false, but who cares? It still sounds good to the huddled masses. In fact, the message used to be that Republicans were only cozy with big bankers and the ultra-wealthy. Today, that is also false. Other than Elon Musk, most of the new wealthy are bluer than the sky. And bankers? A hot bed for socialist type thinking and actions. 

Guess what year is coming up? That is right, 2025. And what happens in 2025? The Tax Cut and Jobs Act (also known as the Trump Tax Cuts), which Trump signed into law shortly after taking office, is going to sunset at the end of 2025. Biden and Harris have been frothing at the mouth with excitement - to get rid of these tax cuts. Why? To "stick it" to the rich. Why? According to the Democrat narrative, only the rich benefitted from this tax cut. Harris can get rid of these ultra rich tax cuts, and still keep her promise of not raising taxes on anyone making over $400,000/year.

But hold the phone! Let's try and read the fine print a bit finer on this bill. Yes, there was some relief for the ultra-wealthy. Why? They are the job creators, and those cuts helped them create more jobs. But get ready for this, as it is a whopper - and it will put Harris right in the middle of a real pickle. Folks making between $50,000 and $100,000 (and that is a BUNCH of folks), got a tax cut of 15% to 17%. Those making between $100,000 and $500,000 also got some relief, but not as much. For Harris to keep her promise of letting these cuts sunset, much of the country will be in a world of hurt. That would break her promise of not raising taxes on those making less than $400,000. 

This is indeed a problem for Harris - especially if she has a Republican House and/or Senate. Getting the right kind of bill crafted to make everyone happy will be bridge too far. And we all know how things work in Washington - they don't. The tax cuts will expire without action, and Harris will be about as popular as a root canal. 

What to do, what to do. Remember one thing - she wanted this job. Should she win the election, she will have one year to come up with a "win-win" solution. If she can't, her approval ratings will be less than Biden's on his worst day. Welcome to the pickle Ms. Harris. Enjoy the ride - while you can.    

If Trump loses, blame Christians?

Earlier in the year, our pastor brought us through a teaching on the Ten Commandments. It was good, and I actually learned some things I did not know before. The one which really hit me, however, was the sixth commandment (Thou shalt not murder). The pastor gave some examples of the difference between killing and murdering. The bombshell, however, is when he gave the one thing which causes the most murder in this country - abortion. Plain and simple, the killing of the unborn.

One would think with that example alone, every Evangelical Christian in the country would be voting against those who endorse (or encourage) abortion. Nope. Even knowing about this injustice to the most innocent among us, thirty-two million self-identified Christians will not vote this year. And many of those self-identified Christians are Evangelicals. 

Let that marinate for a minute. In 2020, Donald Trump lost the popular vote by around 7,000,000 votes (if those were in fact correct votes). Trump is doing better this time around with blacks, browns, men, Jewish, labor and others. That being said, the one voting block which should be a slam dunk are Christians - especially Evangelicals.

When I first heard this statistic on how many Christians are going to take a pass on the 2024 election, I was reminded of that old saying - "You can lead a horse to water but cannot make him drink." Why in the world, more people of God would not want to vote in this election, when there are so many real issues that count - is beyond me. And Israel? Christians should be voting in droves for which ever candidate supports Israel. Why? Read what the Bible states about countries which turn their backs on Israel. Kamala's support of Israel is tepid at best. Trump? Israel loves him. Trump will stand strong with Israel, as he should.

If you are a person of faith (Christian or Jewish faith), and have decided not to vote, please vote for Donald Trump. The people of faith in America will likely be the "make or break" deciders if we have four more years of GUHOR (Russian word for "all is darkness"), or some light at the end of this dark tunnel. This year more than any other, your vote really does count.
