In 2020, Donald Trump warned us about Joe Biden. That he was a country wrecker. Those of us who watched Biden campaign compared to Trump, could not believe what a flaccid candidate that Biden was. All suds and no beer, so to speak. BUT - even though the country was on a good trajectory from four years of Donald Trump, the 2020 race became very close. And when it was all said and done, it went from very close to very mysterious. But the bottom line was this - Biden was a country wrecker. Only his ability to really muck things up even exceeded Trump's predictions.
Flash forward to today. It is 2024, and Donald Trump is running again. Only this time it was going to be Biden again. Then the debate happened, and Biden was "deep sixed" by his party. The Democrats needed to find someone who was less qualified than Biden to carry the torch. It was hard, but they found someone. Donald Trump was the first to "out" her. "As bad as sleepy Joe was, Kamala is worse." That she is. An empty suit. But if she gets elected, she will be the second country wrecker in a row to run (ruin) America.
Most people, even when you peal the veil of hatred off of them, would agree that Trump has better skills to run this country than Biden and Harris times ten. But these are people who put party in front of country. They would rather vote for Bozo the Clown than Donald Trump. And with this election, they will be close to doing that. The one person who can fix the mess that Biden created - might lose to an empty suit.
But - I have penned this before. Donald Trump is not only a person, but he is also a movement. If Donald Trump goes down in defeat, his MAGA army of loyalists remain. They know what it takes to make America great again. And they also know how Biden has all but ruined it for everyone. Biden started the dumpster fire, and Harris will keep pouring on the gasoline (should she win the election).
What does all this mean? If Trump wins, we all win. If Trump loses, his movement continues. Those on the left who thought a bullet or viscous name calling would dispense with Trump, they found out they cannot. When it has all been said and done, one thing we know for sure. Donald Trump has changed this country. For the better. Let's just hope he has four more years to put the (!!!) on that statement.
