Choke point of the planet

"When Iran gives the world its word that it only wants uranium for peaceful purposes, that does not mean spit. These people are now and have been for decades, bald faced liars. They would build a nuclear weapon in a New York minute, and either threaten to use it - or actually use it."

I will start by playing Devil's Advocate. Why can't Iran close off the Strait of Hormuz? Why can't Iran be the gatekeeper of the Strait and only let through ship that either pay a hefty fine, or ships from countries that Iran likes? Seems fair - right? No - not really. Why not? The Strait of Hormuz is not owned by any one country. Iran has no claim to it. It has been mandated to be an International Waterway. By whom you might ask? The United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS). Any time Iran decides to board or detain a ship from any country, it is considered an act of piracy, and in violation of international law. Case closed.

What Iran is doing with the Strait can be added to the list of many "no-no" items it is doing in the Persian Gulf. But it might get worse. The other day, Iran said it might start to hit soft targets in any country at any time. Why? To share the pain. Recent intel indicates that during the period between Midnight Hammer and Operation Epic Fury, some nefarious actors from other countries were helping Iran to restock its missiles and drones. Bottom line? Iran has quite of bit left. They can make good on a threat to hit soft targets all over the region and maybe into Europe.

When Iran gives the world its word that it only wants uranium for peaceful purposes, that does not mean spit. These people are now and have been for decades, bald faced liars. They would build a nuclear weapon in a New York minute, and either threaten to use it - or actually use it. Why do I think that? Any country who would drone or missile attack soft targets from other countries is also capable of nuking them. Same principal, different scope of damages.

How will this end? Will this end? As Israel keeps picking off bad guys, and we keep picking off launchers, neither side seems to tire of this war as yet. Of course, the world's consumers are getting stuck with higher prices on gas and food. As the old saying goes, it is much easier to start a war than to finish one. Right now, this war with Iran appears to be headed towards a longer war instead of a shorter war. I hope I am wrong on that, but the current tea leaves point to more war and less peace.

Dear Joe Kent - wake up and smell the coffee

The only good news about the two missiles fired toward Diego Garcia was this - one broke up over the ocean before it got there, and the other was intercepted by a SM-3 missile coming off a VLS on a Aegis Class destroyer. But the point is this - they are now very close to hitting us where it really hurts. B-2 bombers and soon the B-21 might nest there temporarily. Will they be safe there? What do you think Joe Kent?

Back when I was in the Navy, there was a base you could be sent to which was in the middle of nowhere. Adak, Alaska. It was only a twelve-month tour (due to its isolation). But then there was another base which opened up that was even more remote. If was on an atoll in the middle of the Indian Ocean. It was Diego Garcea. It was a runway and a few operations buildings. To serve twelve months there - you had to be tough and resilient.

Why bring that up? We wanted to have that strategic airstrip in the middle of the Indian Ocean for only one purpose. It was far enough away from the Middle East to be out the range of fire, yet close enough to allow our bombers to have a much shorter trip into the fight. Our best intel showed that even though Iran's missiles were getting "longer legs", the maximum range on a ballistic missile out of Iran was about 1,300 miles. Diego Garcea was 2,500 miles away.

Joe Kent, the now former Director of National Counterterrorism Center, recently resigned his position for this stated reason - the Iranian war. Kent said Iran offered no immediate threat to us, so going to war with them was foolish.

Here is a message for Mr. Kent. We were caught off-guard when last night two missiles were fired out of Iran and Diego Garcia was targeted. That means the 1,300-mile maximum range on a Iranian missile was really 2,500 miles. That means that all our bases in the Middle East, most of Europe, and Diego Garcia are now in range of the nut balls in Iran. Putting it in the common vernacular, Iran did offer a clear and present danger to Israel, our bases nearby, our Arabian allies, much of Europe, and our strategic outpost in Diego Garcia. What do you think Joe, should we have waited a couple years until the uranium was done being enriched to weapon grade, and Iran's missiles had the legs to deliver a nuke to Washington? Right now, Joe, we need leaders like Patton, and not like Neville Chamberlain.

Land of the Lost - Part 2

"Where is the land of the lost, part 2? It is in Minnesota, specifically the Twin Cities. Been that way ever since the Floyd riots. That is when, under the watch of Watz and Frey, the "peaceful" demonstrators almost burned the entire city of Minneapolis down. It became a total warzone."

Two things happened recently when it was announced that Minneapolis would be awarded the "John F Kennedy Profile in Courage" award. First, I almost fell out of my chair in total shock. Just when I thought I have seen or heard everything - this comes along. Second, JFK must be rolling over in his grave. Why? He was not a progressive. He was a leader. A war hero. Not a perfect man, but a very good president. To allow this group of paid demonstrators and useful idiots to be associated with the word "courage" is way beyond the pale.

How about a profile in stupidity award for Walz and Frey for making Minneapolis a sanctuary city? How about the Minneapolis Chief of Police telling his force not to support federal law enforcement when they are in operations in Minneapolis? If the cops had been allowed to do their job, many of the protestors could have been kept at bay. The two people who were shot would still be alive. But that was not the narrative. The narrative (as it always turns out) is the "people" against Donald Trump. When the paid demonstrators saw ICE, all they could see was Donald Trump. The TDS which coats Minneapolis is like pollen in June - and it turned out to be very deadly.

The frosting on the cake, was when the corrupt media always referred to the paid demonstrators as "peaceful". Hitting, spitting, cursing (including taking the Lord's name in vain) is peaceful? On what planet? We need a new definition of peace it this is the example. These people were thugs and malcontents. Truthfully, the paid demonstrators, the latter-day hippies, the useful idiots - were all nothing more than miscreants. It is as simple as that.

Where is the land of the lost, part 2? It is in Minnesota, specifically the Twin Cities. Been that way ever since the Floyd riots. That is when, under the watch of Watz and Frey, the "peaceful" demonstrators almost burned the entire city of Minneapolis down. It became a total warzone. A "no-go" zone. Any chance for healing, where the miscreants will control themselves, and act like citizens? Not so long as the DFL is running the show. This is all from page one of their playbook.

Meanwhile, Minneapolis becoming "hollowed out". Our once fair city, which was fun to go into to, is now on its way to becoming another Detroit. How about a profile in courage for that one?

Land of the lost - Part One

"Is Iran really the 'land of the lost'? It is right now. Will it be in the future? Not if Donald Trump and Bibi Netanyahu have anything to say about it. Freedom is a wonderful thing, and it is coming soon to Persia."

The sooner we get rid of the scum who are currently ruling Iran and return it to the people - the better. The evil which this IRGC personifies is beyond comprehension. When the people recently rose up to peacefully demonstrate in Iran (NOT like the "peaceful" demonstrations in Minnesota), IRGC sharpshooters, as well as hired thugs from other countries, mowed down up to 30,000 citizens. All because they wanted a more representative form of government, and NOT a theocracy.

One of the rising stars in Iran is a 19-year-old wrestler who had recently returned from a tournament. While at home, he took part in the street demonstrations. He was arrested and tried in an Iranian "kangaroo court". He was convicted of killing two policemen (false charges) and an unforgivable charge - disrespect to the Iranian deity. Yesterday, he was tortured and hung. It is a good thing we don't execute people for disrespecting our God in this country. We might lose half the Democrat Party.

This entire episode about this young man, barely old enough to shave, to be killed by his own government makes me want to retch. I have had antipathy towards the Iran revolutionary government ever since the 1979 revolution. The sooner we get rid of this crowd and replace them with duly elected citizens - the better. Besides being horrible neighbors to the nations which surround Iran, besides being a thorn in the side to Israel (and killing many of them), besides executing their own people for minor reasons, what good are the Mullahs or the IRGC? Time for the people to throw off the chains and become free once again.

I was hoping that once the war was over, and Iran needed some of their infrastructure rebuilt, the neighbors close-by could or would help. But after Iran has launched missiles and drones at just about everybody, and caused millions (maybe billions) of dollars in damage to other's oil and gas fields - that offer might be off the table. Meaning? It might be a long while for Iran to get back on its feet.

Is this war worth it? To the friends and family of the young men who were recently hung by their government, I would guess their answer is yes. How about Israel, where once the current regime in Iran is gone, and the peace can return to the shire. Again, I would say yes. How about world commerce who need to use the Strait of Hormuz without getting shelled, bombed or droned? That would be an absolute yes.

Is Iran really the "land of the lost"? It is right now. Will it be in the future? Not if Donald Trump and Bibi Netanyahu have anything to say about it. Freedom is a wonderful thing, and it is coming soon to Persia.

Hitting (and kicking) below the belt

"If Iran and the Arab states in the Persian Gulf start to hit each other's oil and gas infrastructure, it will soon get to be 'Katy bar the door.' It would not only be hitting each other below the belt (so to speak), but also it would be Iran's version of 'scorched Earth'."

Okay - I will say it. Iran is a mess right now. They remind me of a spoiled child who could not get his or her way, lashing out at everybody. And when I say lashing out at everybody, that includes everyone on Planet Earth who needs the oil and gas which come from the Persian Gulf. Why would they try an alienate a large part of the world. Especially with nations who have not done Iran any harm. Because they are losing the war and losing it badly. Since they can't get at us, they will get at many others instead. Why? Blame this war on us.

So, what is Iran doing which is typical of "hitting below the belt"? The same thing that Russia has done to Ukraine in that war. Targeting energy resources. Turning winter weather into a tool of war, by not allowing civilians the ability to warm themselves. It is barbaric and inhumane.

What Iran is doing right now is not as deadly as what Russia is doing to Ukraine, but it is causing oil and gas to be either more expensive, scarcer, or both. Why is this happening? The escalation ladder. Israel grew tired of Iran constantly launching ballistic missiles (many topped with cluster bombs) and drones at their civilian areas.

It all started when Israel wanted to send Iran a message by targeting their main natural gas field. This was supposed to be "off limits" per Donald Trump, as when the regime is finally driven out of Iran and the people take their country back, they will need oil resources for usage and trade. But the damage was done, and Iran retaliated by hitting the South Pars Mega Field in the UAE. It hosts the largest liquefied natural gas facility in the world. Why hit UAE? Because they are close, and more importantly, because they have a relationship with us.

If Iran and the Arab states in the Persian Gulf start to hit each other's oil and gas infrastructure, it will soon get to be "Katy bar the door." It would not only be hitting each other below the belt (so to speak), but also it would be Iran's version of "scorched Earth". Oil and gas are the essential elements of every nation's life blood in that area. For Iran to lash out like this is beyond being a fool's errand - it is economic suicide.

The problem is this - we have no clue who is running Iran right now. Heck, it could be the Persian version of Joe Biden's autopen. But until Iran is vanquished and peace once again returns to the Middle East, much, much damage could be done. The regime in Iran is deserving of all the punishment Israel (and us) could dish out to them. But the innocent Iranian people are not deserving of any of our punishment. Nor are the innocent Arabs in neighboring countries deserving of any punishment coming from Iran.

Unfortunately, our main carrier, the USS Gerald Ford, needed to leave the fight and go in for repairs. Battle damage? Nope - creature comforts like backed up toilets and not enough suitable racks for sailors to use. It got to the point where the Ford had to leave the fight to get these items fixed. But with or without the Ford, the fight goes on. And the sooner Iran surrenders to Israel and the US, the better it will be for all.

The current worthlessness of NATO

"We have asked very little (let me repeat that - very little) out of NATO for this war. As usual, the US is doing most of the heavy lifting. That is, the US AND Israel are doing the heavy lifting. All NATO can do is whimper and bitch. Like, whose side are they on?"

Some might think I am about to go on a major rant about how our NATO "buddies" stood us up over Iran. They are supposed to be a band of brothers, united against all terroristic and war like regimes worldwide. NATO was supposed to "stand in the gap", ever since the UN became feckless and useless. Sure, NATO underfunded itself, but after "Daddy" Trump twisted a few ears during his first term, many bellied up to the bar. Some however - did not. I could write three pages this morning about how much NATO has let us down over policing the Strait of Hormuz by Iran. I could, but I won't. I would rather talk about something which NATO has done which is far more disappointing.

Greenland. What NATO is doing to the US over Greenland is beyond the pale. Although a very parsimonious show of force, some in NATO sent some troops to Greenland - just in case Donald Trump was going to invade this cherished land and take it by force. What a joke! That was NEVER in the cards for us to do that! However, for reasons of security for the US as well as Europe, the US wants a larger presence in Greenland. We also want more of a military presence to deter any and all "adventurisms" by Russia or China. Why? The arctic is where it is at baby! Greenland would offer a HUGE front door for either Russia or China to waltz right in any become unwanted neighbors.

Instead of (as Steven Covey would say) NATO trying to "seek to understand", they have rather treated the US, the country who saved most NATO nations twice during two world wars, like we are Russians or Mongols. Trump has been very clear on why we want a bigger footprint in Greenland. We want to extend our Golden Dome up into Greenland for maximum early warning in case of a missile attack. ALL would benefit from that. We also want to help mine the hard to get at rare earth minerals and oil in Greenland. The natives who live on Greenland would benefit greatly from the riches we could extract from that frozen soil. But NATO? To them, this deal that US wants to strike with Greenland and Denmark is next to radioactive. Who needs enemies when you have friends like NATO?

Here is the irony. Many speculated that one of the reasons that Putin wanted war with Ukraine was one of the side effects of that conflict would be a weakening of NATO. That never happened. However, the war to keep Iran from becoming a nuclear terrorist is dividing NATO. We have asked very little (let me repeat that - very little) out of NATO for this war. As usual, the US is doing most of the heavy lifting. That is, the US AND Israel are doing the heavy lifting. All NATO can do is whimper and bitch. Like, whose side are they on?

Between the Iran war and Greenland, I have about had it with this bunch of statists and socialists. No wonder Biden got along so well with NATO - he was cut from the same stock.

And speaking of which, half of our government is also cut from that same stock as NATO. In these turbulent days when we need strong men and resolute women, half of our Congress still does not fully know what a man is or what a woman is. But that is a rant for another day.

No deal or a big deal?

"War of choice or no choice? My vote is for the later. To forge a lasting peace, this had to be done. Is it worth spending some of our blood and treasure? Compared to a future nuclear attack, I would say yes. But everybody needs to make up their own minds on this one."

Much has been made by the left on this war with Iran. Some are even calling it "Trump's War". Why? They claim it is a war of choice and not of our national security. If that were the case, everything about this war would be a "no deal". A "tail wagging the dog" type of war. But if it is true, that Iran has 440 kilograms of 60% enriched uranium (by Iran's own admission), and if that is indeed enough to finish refining to have enough for 11 or 12 nuclear bombs, then this war is indeed a "big deal".

It has long been suspected that Iran has other facilities similar to Fordow. Why? Total redundancy. A plan "B" incase plan "A" becomes inoperable. The smart folks who understand this entire uranium business know that 60% enriched is only a hop, skip and a jump away from being absolute weapons grade uranium. As I have said before, all they need is one bomb on a hypersonic missile, and then Iran thinks they would be in the "club".

There is no doubt in my mind that if Kamala Harris had won the election, Fordow would be humming right along by now. Sometime this year, Iran would announce its entry into the nuclear club. They already have ballistic missiles which can reach Isreal and most of Europe. They are not that far away from having a missile with enough legs to reach our homeland. And just like that, we have another North Korea.

Trump is doing what should have been done years ago. This disease in Iran has gotten worse every year. It is like a decaying tooth, where the decay gets deeper and more serious every year. Because we had to wait until Trump's second term, this war is a lot tougher than it should be. And if we could have had some of our Euro bedwetters join us, the load would have been lighter. But it is what it is, and Trump will take care of it. Even if it costs him his poll numbers.

War of choice or no choice? My vote is for the later. To forge a lasting peace, this had to be done. Is it worth spending some of our blood and treasure? Compared to a future nuclear attack, I would say yes. But everybody needs to make up their own minds on this one.

How will it all end?

"How will it all end? When will it all end? This will sound trite, but I will say it anyway - when the last bad guy (terrorist) is dead or locked away forever. Plus - all uranium is accounted for, and the ability to process more uranium is forever gone. That is it - no more to the story. Other than one more thing - Iran could end up being one of those dreaded 'forever wars'. Just saying..."

This weekend, a representative of the ruling class in Iran was on a CBS show. He admitted that Iran is in possession of 440 kilograms of 60% enriched uranium. That was admitting to what is the worst kept secret in the world. When asked where it was, he responded by saying, "it is buried". Ergo, that is the problem. 440 kilograms of uranium is enough to make almost a dozen nukes. All it would take is one bomb, sitting on top of one Iranian missile, and a "miss" by the Iron Dome, and it is game over. Isreal would respond by vaporizing Iran. What does all this mean? It will not be finished, the war will not be over, until the US or Israel is in possession of that enriched uranium.

Even though the exact location of the uranium is not known, the best guess is it lies in one of the four hidden tunnels under Iran's Pickaxe Mountain. And that is a big problem, as the four tunnels are 100 meters underground, which are deeper than the area in Fordow which we successfully eliminated during Midnight Hammer. Why is that? Our best "bunker buster" cannot go that deep. Especially through granite rock and reinforced concrete. And if we cannot be 100% positive of taking this uranium out by air, what is the next best option? Boots on the ground. And that could be high risk and bloody.

Meanwhile, thanks to decades of neglect in lassoing in Iran's missile program, Iran still has missiles and drones a plenty to fire off towards Israel. Because they are spread all over this large country, it seems they can keep this up for quite a while. Plus, with a stranglehold on the Strait of Hormuz, oil dependent nations worldwide are on pins and needles. It seems now that just like in Desert Storm, a "coalition of the willing" would really help. While most of the world sits on its hands, the US and Israel are doing all the heavy lifting (again). We could use the help and might of dozens of friendly nations. The more that help, the quicker this could be resolved.

BTW - Israel is getting ready to launch a ground war in Lebanon. Why? Hezbollah is still active and a threat. If I were living is Beirut, I would be remembering what happened to Gaza when the terrorists took over. Gaza now lies in ruins, and the same could be in the offing for Beirut. But maybe what it takes to eliminate Hamas or Hezbollah - grind their hiding places into dust. Who suffers? The innocents. But the terrorists never gave a whit about them to start with. Just collateral damage.

How will it all end? When will it all end? This will sound trite, but I will say it anyway - when the last bad guy (terrorist) is dead or locked away forever. Plus - all uranium is accounted for, and the ability to process more uranium is forever gone. That is it - no more to the story. Other than one more thing - Iran could end up being one of those dreaded "forever wars". Just saying...

Time to admit it was a silly mistake

"Some of the Republicans running for governor want to immediately upon winning, reinstate the original "racist" flag. How about Amy? What will her position be? Probably mandate it be state law to fly the goofy looking new flag on every flagpole. Why would she do something to foolish, so divisive? Because she is cut from the same piece of wood that Dayton and Walz are."

The new Minnesota flag. Or as many call it, our Somali flag. Or our Tim Walz flag. For more and more citizens and patriots in outstate Minnesota, this flag is about as popular as a root canal. About as pleasing as nail on the chalkboard. In fact, more and more cities are voting to fly the original Minnesota flag. Driving around the countryside, it is common to see many private flag poles flying the stars and bars and then beneath it, the original Minnesota flag. The Somali flag? Mostly in the Twin Cities. They seem to love it there.

This flag, like many other unpopular items, was pushed through the approval cycle during the last DFL trifecta. Many thought it was to pay homage to the DFL overlords - the Somali community. Timmy Walz loves this flag. Wears it on his label all the time. Truthfully? Walz looks like an ambassador to Somalia when he wears that thing. There is nothing nice nor meaningful about this new flag - it is butt ugly.

What was the purpose of having this new flag? The bedwetters in the Legislature said it was time to retire the "racist" flag that we have had forever. Really? My thought was it was meant to further divide us. And anybody who says there is no resemblance at all to the Somali flag is either crazy or a liar. It is just a symbol of what a joke this state has become. A fraud infested, PC loving, socialist joke.

Some of the Republicans running for governor want to immediately upon winning, reinstate the original "racist" flag. How about Amy? What will her position be? Probably mandate a state law to fly the goofy looking new flag on every flagpole. Why would she do something to foolish, so divisive? Because she is cut from the same piece of wood that Dayton and Walz are. Having Amy would be more of the same - only worse.

My daughter has the original state flag and the American flag flying proudly from her flagpole. How about you, Bird? Do you have one? Nope - and the reason is I gave my flagpole to my daughter. We will be selling this house in the next few years, and I wanted that very fine flagpole to have a more permanent spot in the family. It is as simple as that.

Return to Kharg Island?

"Will Kharg Island be the lynch pin on which this war will be decided? Maybe. During the Eight Year War between Iran and Iraq, Kharg Island took a beating. But now it is back and acting like the oil distribution center that it was built to be. We want Kharg Island functioning normally. Why? When the good guys take over Iran, they will need the commerce. But to win this war, we might have to kill Kharg Island once again. Stay tuned..."

Oh boy - now we have done it. Kharg Island which is sacrosanct or almost holy to the country of Iran, was bombed yesterday - by US. We took out every single square inch of the island which could be used for military purposes. But the oil terminals? We left those alone - for now. This was the clearest possible message that Donald Trump could send to the IRGC, who are now running the country. Keep the Strait of Hormuz open, or we will lay waste to the oil terminals on Kharg Island. Then the oil markets worldwide will be turned upside-down.

Closing, or even threatening to mine, the Strait of Hormuz is world terrorism on a grand scale. For us, a nation which us awash in oil and gas, it is a few more cents per gallon at the pump. For nations who depend on over 50% of their oil from the Middle East (and needing to transit oil through the Strait of Hormuz), this will be catastrophic. And it is not only oil, but also badly needed fertilizer. Anything which can perturbate normal transits through the Strait is deadly serious. So serious that Donald Trump would decimate Kharg Island just to get the attention of the Iranians.

Currently, ships from many nations are stacked up like cordwood in the Persian Gulf. Why? They don't want to get mined or droned. The United States is working feverishly to neutralize as many Iranian threats as possible. But all it would take is one ship, hit by something which would damage it so severely, that it would sink. That would really gum things up - for a long time. Thus, Iran is playing one of the few cards it has left. Threaten chaos in the Persian Gulf, especially by the Strait

How is the war going, one might ask? Except for the loss of six brave Americans in the KC-135 plane crash this week, the war is going fine. The loss of one American (in my book) is one too many. But this is war. And with the number of assets we have in the area, many of whom are doing some very dangerous tasks, it is almost a miracle we have not had more dead and wounded. The fact we have not is a tip of the hat to Hegseth and his team on how they have trained and trained and trained again for combat of all types.

Will Kharg Island be the lynch pin on which this war will be decided? Stay tuned...

Snow what! (or) What snow?

"What am I going to do if it is horrible outside tomorrow? I will skip church and do my taxes. What will I do it is only sound and fury with little to no snow? Go to church and then do my taxes. What? No prepping? Nope - I (like many of us), have seen this movie before. Lots and lots and lots of times."

For those who have lived in this part of the country most of their lives (and are old enough), remember the Halloween Blizzard of 1991. Was it predicted? Yes, snow was predicted. But was a mega-storm predicted? Nope. Imagine the shock and awe on most of our faces when the Saturday after Halloween, we were all caught in a giant snow globe. Even though it was decades ago, folks are still talking about it. Yes, everybody has a story about that day.

That is one side of the equation. On the other side are what are known as phantom storms. Some weather guesser will get up in front of the camera, sweating and panting, and talk about the incoming "storm of the century". Everybody, with the great, late Halloween Blizzard still fresh in their minds, will go the grocery store, the liquor store, the gas station - and get all bunkered up to be hunkered down. Then the storm hits, and something happened to all the moisture it was supposed to bring. We end up with 2 - 4 inches of fluffy snow and most of us looked like we were fooled again.

The storm which is going to hit tonight and paralyze us tomorrow is being called by the local fish wrap newspaper - historic. My take? That is the kiss of death. Meaning what? Maybe another phantom storm. Or - we could be surprised that the weather guessers might have one right for a change. I guess by this time tomorrow, we all will be ready to decide if it is weather guesser blather or another snowmageddon

What am I going to do if it is horrible outside tomorrow? I will skip church and do my taxes. What will I do it is only sound and fury with little to no snow? Go to church and then do my taxes. What? No prepping? Nope - I (like many of us), have seen this movie before. Lots and lots and lots of times.

Is Amy good for Minnesota?

"If the Republicans don't win the governor's seat as well as many other state positions, there is something very wrong here. The Democrats have ruined this state. Turned it into the laughingstock of America. Starting with Amy, we need to clean house. Disinfect it. Have a priest cast out all the demons that Zach and company let in during the 2023 legislative term."

What is Amy Klobuchar good for? Minnesota? I could make a compelling argument that she is not. Then why in the world, after nest egging that senate seat for years, does she think she deserves to be the governor of Minnesota? After suffering fools via Mark Dayton and Tim Walz, why does Amy believe Minnesota deserves her? Good question. We all know her leadership style is vacant, and her list of accomplishments while in the senate is zilch. Voting no on everything Donald Trump wants. Voting yes, for all the cock and bull crapola that Biden and Obama wanted (and got us deep into trouble with). What then, is Amy? An empty suit. Or dress. Or whatever.

I remember one year at the fair, I had booth duty some place. I had the early "watch" so to speak, so I was there early. Walking in and then down the street towards the booth, I saw Amy approaching. I had nothing on my person which betrayed which booth I would be at. I acknowledged her as she passed. She ignored me like I was not even there. Do I hold a grudge for that rude behavior? Nope - but the stories on how she treats her staff seem now to be much more realistic.

Minnesota fraud. Is Walz up to his eyeballs in this mess? Oh, yes. Ellison? Again, oh, yes. What about Amy? Maybe - but she sure needs to be looked at. Even if she has an ounce of dirt her from looking the other way (or worse), she needs to go and go soon. After decades of having gestapo like rule from Democrats in just about every lever of state government, we need a house cleaning. Starting with Amy. Send her back to the range. Give her one of Walz's Somali/Minnesota flags as a souvenir.

If the Republicans don't win the governor's seat as well as many other state positions, there is something very wrong here. The Democrats have ruined this state. Turned it into the laughingstock of America. Starting with Amy, we need to clean house. Disinfect it. Have a priest cast out all the demons that Zach and company let in during the 2023 legislative term.

Back when Spendy Wendy was the governor, he got his mug on Time Magazine with an article called, "The good life in Minnesota". Today, our governor is called "Tampon Tim", and fraud committed anywhere in the US is called "Minnesota type fraud". There lies our legacy folks. Enjoy the ride and don't forget to pay your taxes. Somalia needs the money.

California Nightmares

"When Governor Newsom was asked about this proposed threat, he blew it off. No way, Jose! Not in California! That might be play acting, or maybe he is that naive. And what if it is true? That a wave of drones was coming in from the Pacific. Do the good people of California know that to do when the sirens go off? Do they know to get into shelters? Just one drone with explosives strapped on it could turn a good day into a nightmare."

As if Newsome did not do enough damage to California. As if prices are not high enough in that once fine state. As if needless regulations did not constipate the normal flow of business in the Golden State. So, what gives then? Here is what gives. Drones. We maybe (or maybe not) have picked up some chatter that Iran has some assets, sleeper or otherwise, that have set their sights on California. An attack? On our homeland? Yes - seems like it is indeed a small(er) world these days.

Wait a minute! How in the world could a drone hit California from half a world away? Some ideas which have been put forth: 1) Drone ship. It is easy to hide smallish drones on ships which would be in range of big cities in California. One of the ships we sunk close to Iran (which was carrying drones) was the size of a WWII aircraft carrier. I could only imagine how many drones that ship was capable of holding.

2) Mexico. Iran (over the years) could have been working on a partnership with Cartels in Mexico to store drones. I am sure there is nothing better the Cartels would like than unleashing some chaos on our major cities in California. Are there Iranian assets in Mexico right now? Great question. 3) Sleeper cells in the US. Oh, boy here we go. Is it possible that Iranian assets snuck into our country during the four years of Biden's open borders? Could they have found a way to also bring in components to build drones while here? Not only possible, but maybe probable.

When Governor Newsom was asked about this proposed threat, he blew it off. No way, Jose! Not in California! That might be play acting, or maybe he is that naive. And what if it is true? That a wave of drones was coming in from the Pacific. Do the good people of California know that to do when the sirens go off? Do they know to get into shelters? Just one drone with explosives strapped on it could turn a good day into a nightmare.

Meanwhile, things are still going hot and heave over by Iran. With the Strait of Hormuz still up for grabs, the oil traders don't like this one bit. Once this is resolved, I think the rest will fall into place and Iran will waive the white flag. Why do I think so? Getting pounded by our heavy bombers on a daily basis will turn the most reluctant warriors into POWs. Just saying...

And with the USS Bush, we now have three

"When it has all been said and done, what will we have accomplished? Two things, really. First, we would have helped liberate Iran so that the vile threats from this country will be over. Peace should again come to the shire. Second, we have shown the world what a top-notch military looks like. I was going to say a precision military, but we are even better than that. We should all be proud. The good guys are about ready to win once again."

Did you hear the news? The USS George H. W. Bush have left the comfy confines of Norfolk and is headed towards the Med to join the fray. Wait - why? Don't we already have two aircraft carriers over in theater? The USS Gerald R. Ford and the USS Abraham Lincoln are already on station, dishing out all kinds of pain and suffering to the Iranian Regime. When the Bush arrives, all full of rested pilots and lots of ammo, we will really be able to really open a can of "Whoop Ass" on the bad guys.

I give up. Don't we already have the best of the best off the coast of Iran right now. Sure do. But with a third carrier, we can offer attacks coming in from three different directions and keep an eye on the Houthis at the same time. What we are seeing here is the polar opposite of war of attrition. It is part of the Trump Doctrine. Hit them hard and then hit time harder again. Get this war over as quickly as possible with all the desired results obtained.

As soon as Iran suggested they might try and mine the Strait of Hormuz to really gum things up, off the carriers go our mighty fighter jets to hunt down and destroy any Iranian ship capable of laying mines. And just like that, about twenty more Iranian ships are hugging the bottom of the ocean. There might be some smaller boats still hanging around which are used for laying mines, but when we see them, they will be dust.

Now to get into the rumor mill for a bit. Israel is broadcasting into Iran to get ready to rise up, as the time for your freedom has come. That part is true. Here is the conjecture - the Mossad has been busy behind the lines, getting more of the lower levels of the regime eliminated. Between the US bombing the heck out of everything and Israel working the inside, this rumor might be true. As soon as the good people in Iran throw off the yoke of this treacherous theocracy, our heavy lifting will be over.

When it has all been said and done, what will we have accomplished? Two things, really. First, we would have helped liberate Iran so that the vile threats from this country will be over. Peace should again come to the shire. Second, we have shown the world what a top-notch military looks like. I was going to say a precision military, but we are even better than that. We should all be proud. The good guys are about ready to win once again.

And what if, we have Iranian sleeper cells in our homeland?

"What happens next? Hopefully, nothing. But we need to be 'Alert times four' at all times. Watching each other's sixes. What if there are sleeper cells in sanctuary cities where ICE is not welcomed? How can we root that evil out of our country? That is a great question to a vexing issue. All we can do is hope and pray this sleeper cell alert is a false alarm. But remember - hope is not a plan. If the bad guys come knocking, we need to be ready for them."

Scary thought, right? The fact we may have sleeper cells in our homeland. Trained and ready once they receive the "go" signal from their homeland. What is even more frightening, is that during four years under Joe Biden, we put out the welcome mat to anyone and everyone who wanted to come into America - unvetted. Is it possible that sleeper cells from a place like Iran (who hates us) could have crossed our border during those four years. Not possible - probable.

One of the things l learned when I had a high-level clearance in the Navy, was a simple truth. What is being reported in the public sector, and what is really happening are often very different. But for everybody's protection, it needs to be that way. I did hear on the news yesterday that our intel services had intercepted a coded message which looked like it could have been a signal to a Iranian sleeper cell. Why report that rather than keep it under wraps? To prepare the American people. This far away war could be coming home to roost. The target(s)? Soft targets - the softer the better.

What are the Senate Democrats doing to help in this heightened threat environment? Nada. Zip. They are holding the DHS funding hostage, so the Coast Guard, TSA, and the Selective Service are going without pay. Wait - are we not at war right now? Is this not an "all hand on deck" event? Why would Schumer and the Senate Democrats do something so foolish? Ask them, as most normal folks don't have a clue on why they did it now.

Here is my biggest fear about sleeper cells. Since they were able to come into our country unvetted before Trump was sworn in (for the second time), is it possible they could have brought some WMD materials with them? Automatic weapons? RPGs? Chemical agents? Bio agents? The list could go on and on. Even though our government is now in a state of enhanced readiness and alert, there are not enough good guys to thwart just a few bad guys who want to do vulnerable Americans harm.

What happens next? Hopefully, nothing. But we need to be "Alert times four" at all times. If the bad guys come knocking, we need to be ready for them.

The "Save America Act" - better than 80 -20

"Rather than just comply and vote to pass this thing, the Democrats have decided this would be a nice hill to die on. Trump has had it with this bunch of bedwetters. He has made it known that no other bill will be signed until the Save America Act is passed, and on his desk, waiting to be signed."

By now, most have heard of the Save America Act. It should be passed and signed into law ASAP. Why? It is something whose time has come. In fact, whose time has come a long, long while ago. In any event, time to get it done. How do I know it is something the people want? The polling has been very constant. High majority of whites, almost as high majority of blacks, high majority of Hispanics, almost 100% of Republicans, and (here is the shocker) - a majority of Democrats. There is only one group in America who is against this much needed legislation - elected Democrats. Huh?

The Save America Act is necessary to ensure that only an American citizen can vote. Sounds noble - who in the world could be against this very important bill? Brace yourselves - only those who like to cheat. I know this is a shocker, but there are people in this country who are dishonest. Who commit fraud in Minnesota. Who cheat. Who lie. Who vote when they are not entitled to. Will the Save America Act take care all ballot box cheaters? Nope - but it will cut them down to size.

The paid for Democrats in the Senate respond by saying, "This will disenfranchise women, minorities, and whomever else is too dense to have a valid ID these days!" Boy, what an insult! I would be hopping mad if I were in one of those categories. Here are some facts of life: First - Since you need an ID to do just about anything these days, it would be hard not to have one. Next - Since it is March, and if it gets passed into law this month, that leaves over 1/2 year to get an ID. If voting is important to anyone, there is the runway.

Rather than just comply and vote to pass this thing, the Democrats have decided this would be a nice hill to die on. Trump has had it with this bunch of bedwetters. He has made it known that no other bill will be signed until the Save America Act is passed, and on his desk, waiting to be signed. If the paid for Democrats decide to play footsie with this issue like they did the DHS funding, they might as well just go home. Mission accomplished. The Coast Guard, TSA, and other elements of the DHS continue to work without pay, and soon they might just stop coming in all together. Not a smart thing to do in a time of war - but nobody ever accused this group of being smart.

We have come a long way since how we as a nation acted during World War II. Everybody pitched in. Everybody was committed to win. Today, many on the left are only committed to one thing - how to hate the Orange Man more and more every day. For Senate Democrats, even it is means ruining the country. FDR would be spinning in his grave if he could see show today's Democrats act in a time of war.

The cost of defeat; the cost of victory

"It is a shame it had to come to this. Trump gave Iran many outs and many off-ramps. But the Mullahs thought they were immune to western power. They found out the hard way they were not."

There is an old saying that it is easier to start a war than to end a war. Why? War is messy. It is icky. Many bad things happen in war which are hard to forget. Many times, much lasting pain. That being said, Donald Trump has promised no more forever wars. He wanted to do some modern-day shock and awe with Iran and then have some veto power (or approval power) in what Iran's new government would look like. But right now, with a bit over a week of war under our belts, the messiness of this war is starting to reveal itself.

So far, we have taken out almost 50 of Iran's leadership. Hundreds of missiles and launchers. Thousands of drones. So then, what constitutes victory? Where we can leave with our heads held high. Where our blood and treasure were worth the sacrifice. First and foremost, the old regime needs to be gone - gone for good. A new government, which will be fair to its people and good to its neighbors needs to be installed. But almost as important as that one, the 440 kilograms of enriched uranium needs to be accounted for. Why? According to Iran before the war started, that is enough uranium to build eleven nuclear bombs. It is critical that this uranium come under our control. So, it can never be used or sold on the black market.

Once this war is over - and it will someday be over, picking up the pieces will start. Iran will be a mess. Many buildings will lie in ruin. The oil refineries will need to be rebuilt. And the shock to oil futures, will take a while to calm down. Until that happens, until this war if officially done (with victory by the US and Israel secured), the messiness will continue. The Strait of Hormuz will continue to be a challenge for free and open transit. Rogue missile or drone launches will continue. Gas prices will remain at Joe Biden levels, and some commodity shortages might develop. The easy part of the war is coming to a close - the hard part is just starting.

What do I mean by the hard part? Twice now, POTUS has intimated that we might need to send in ground troops. Door kickers. Troops which can not only root out hidden IRGC members but also find the 440 kilos of enriched uranium. Can the Kurds help? Maybe. Can other friendly nations help? I sure hope so. Remember however, Iran is twice the size of Texas. Lots and lots of territory to cover.

It is a shame it had to come to this. Trump gave Iran many outs and many off-ramps. But the Mullahs thought they were immune to western power. They found out the hard way they were not.

Meanwhile, as we continue to try and fix Iran, Rubio is down in Cuba laying the groundwork on how we can fix that failed country. Bored yet with Trump? Hard to be, as he might be the most consequential president in US history.

Time for "Defense extreme (DX)" on everything!

"Right now, we need a better solution for the thousands of drones which are being produced every year. We need a good solution for the new hypersonic missiles. To ensure the safety of the fleet as well as the homeland, we need to think in the future and not in the present."

I spent about 25 years of my civilian working life as a government contractor. It was a good life - I learned a lot, traveled a lot, and negotiated a lot. One of the things I learned while working with the US Government was this - every order had a DOD priority on it. It was called the DPAS System which stood for Defense Priority and Allocation System. Most orders I had were normal in their DPAS ratings. Once in a while however, I received a DX rated order. The "DX" stood for Defense Extreme, and it always went to the top of the pile.

Yesterday, the president had about half dozen or so of our largest defense contractors at the White House for an "SOS" meeting. It is no secret that between supplying Ukraine (mostly under Biden) with weapons and ammo, and now with the war on Iran, our ammo and missile inventory is getting a bit sparce. Even though we keep saying that we are good, I really wonder how good we are. With the meeting yesterday, I think we might not be that good at all.

Trump asked the CEOs who were present at the White House yesterday to really jump start their production rate. Like double it? That is a huge favor to ask! Nope - he wants everybody present yesterday to sign up to ramp up to a fourfold increase in production. The president said he would eliminate as many of the middlemen as possible as well as get rid of needless regulations. When the meeting was over, all left with the agreement it shall be done.

The one item I am the most concerned about is our Standard Missile (SM) 3. This is the bad boy which is fired from a VLS (Vertical Launch System) to take out high flying ballistic missiles. We have wasted many of these million dollars plus missiles on cheap drones. These missiles (I worked at BAE when the SM 3 was being developed) are very effective. But - they are also very expensive and are now becoming a bit scarce.

For those who work for a defense contractor, the days ahead might be filled with "pedal to the metal" type of work. But it is important work. Right now, we need a better solution for the thousands of drones which are being produced every year. We need a good solution for the new hypersonic missiles. To ensure the safety of the fleet as well as the homeland, we need to think in the future and not in the present.

For a stronger NATO, Starmer and Carney must go!

"Both Carney and Starmer need to wake up and smell the coffee. They are both lost living in the same bubble, creating sound and fury, and signifying nothing. Besides supporting Donald Trump, they could learn a thing or two. As Trump reshapes the world, it would be smart to be a part of that process, rather than on the outside looking in."

Okay - let me get this on the table. Love him or not, Donald Trump is the leader of the free world. Period. He is the leader both by his position (POTUS), and more importantly, the way he acts. The things he does. But here are the facts of life. During the four years before Trump's second term, NATO became lazy and ineffective. While the US spent many billions to bolster the Ukraine Army, the rest of NATO (for the most part) - did very little. China went hog wild, and Iran was racing to get enough uranium to build that first nuclear bomb. Some might say we got Trump back in the White House in a nick of time. I am one of those people.

But Canada, oh, Canada - what in the world were you thinking when you elected Mark Carney? Wasn't it enough you had years of Trudeau? In one short year, Carney is turning into an American hater as well as a shill for Xi of China. We need Canada right now to be a strong northern neighbor, not a bedwetter. No wonder Alberta (and maybe some others) want to leave this socialist hell and become part of the US.

As weak and feckless as Carny is, that is nothing compared to the man who is afraid of his own shadow in the UK. Yes, that would be Keir Starmer. First a word of clarity from my perspective - I love the UK. Love the people. Been there a half dozen times on business. The UK deserves better than Starmer. Why? He is allowing the Muslim immigrants to take over his country. To change the culture. But Starmer, who is an atheist, does not seem to care. He does not see the danger Maybe his tepid response to the current war in Iraq is formed by that fear of his Muslim population.

Mark Carney should be run out of Canada on a railroad. Like the UK, I love, love Canada. Beautiful country, great people. I have negotiated with the Canadian government twice - both times were enjoyable. But my trust in Mark Carney cannot even be measured in inches. Trump has no time for him. NATO should also have no time for him. In these days when the Arctic is seen as a prize by both China and Russia, Carney is allowing himself (and his country) to be played. Rather than being our best friends right now, Carney, as well as Starmer, are like zits on our bottoms instead of allies.

Both Carney and Starmer need to wake up and smell the coffee. They are both lost living in the same bubble, creating sound and fury, and signifying nothing. Besides supporting Donald Trump, they could learn a thing or two. As Trump reshapes the world, it would be smart to be a part of that process, rather than on the outside looking in.

The only fair question to ask - "What happens next?"

"I suspect that our SOS Rubio and his team are working this issue. My thought? This might be a good agenda item (maybe the only item) for the next Board of Peace get together. The Arab nations should be particularly interested in what happens next in Iran. It is after all - in their neighborhood."

I don't want to sound like a "homer" when I say this, but I will say it anyway. The United States and Israel together, are beating the living snot out of the leadership and goon squad in Iran. How bad is it? Just short of a massacre. But let me be clear on one thing - this team of the US and Israel, make up probably the finest combo of warfare expertise in the world at this point in time. As good as things are going right now (and they are going very well), one question begs to be asked - what happens next? After the war is over?

Before I address this question, one more thing about how well the US and Israel are executing this operation in Iran. We lost three F-15E jets over Kuwait from friendly fire. Not over Iran from hostile fire nor friendly fire from Israel - it was friendly fire from Kuwait forces. And the six-service people who were killed - that was from hostile fire. Not in Iran, but on one of our Army bases in the area. Killed by a missile or a drone.

Back to the question at hand. Why is this so important to answer correctly? Many of us still have a hangover from the liberation of Iraq. The war to oust Saddam Hussian went very well - not as well as this war with Iran, but still very well. But then came the aftermath - nation building. Helping the good citizens of Iraq elect and develop a democracy. And it went horribly wrong. Many brave service people died in the aftermath. It burned a memory into many brains that nation building is not one of our fortes. And we should never try it again.

The one question which is being asked by both sides of the aisle is this - (using young folk jargon) - what is the plan, man? This is not a partisan question. It is a fair question. The millions of innocent Iranians who have lived under this brutal theocracy for almost 50 years might need some care and feeding in how to live as a free people. What does that mean? It means that Iran might need a tinge of (dare I say it?) - nation building. But who will do it? There is no stomach by anyone for the US to do it. But if the care and feeding of this newly freed nation is not done, will it become wild and untamed instead of normal and civilized? If so, how, who, where and when?

I suspect that our SOS Rubio and his team are working this issue. My thought? This might be a good agenda item (maybe the only item) for the next Board of Peace get together. The Arab nations should be particularly interested in what happens next in Iran. It is after all - in their neighborhood.

PS - The pic I used is the Iranian Corvette class ship which was torpedoed and sunk by a US submarine. First time since WWII that we have sunk a ship from another country using a torpedo.

Where is the threat, the clueless ones ask...

"Do the Democrats have a death wish? Do nothing and let nature take its course? Seems that way. Trump on the other hand, does not see it that way. And that is why we have engaged Iran. Putting our blood and money at risk. But with Iran, the risk is worth it."

Yesterday, the administration met with the entire Senate to show their hand (so to speak). Like, with the Democrats wanting to push a War Powers Resolution and have our troops leave the vicinity of Iran, the Democrats wanted nothing to do with the Rubio brief. "There is no threat", the clueless brigade would parrot each other when cameras and mics was shoved in their untruthful faces. Again, we live in two separate worlds. We speak two different languages. Most importantly, we know two different truths.

Here is some of the unclassified information which was shared with the lackluster wing of the Senate yesterday. To answer the question, "Where is the threat?", the following was offered. And this information had no spin on it, as our intelligence agencies as well as Israeli agencies had similar or exact information.

Missiles - Iran has (with the help of China) been building up its missile inventory at a blazing pace. Like, up to 100 missiles a month. Why so many? Iran knows with enough missiles coming down in a swarm on Isreal, they can defeat the famous Iron Dome. With thousands of very accurate drones coupled with hundreds of ballistic missiles, many cities in Israel would be laid bare to ruin.

Long Range Ballistic Missiles - Where is the threat? With the increase in ballistic missile technology (thanks to China), it would not be long before Iran had missiles with enough range to hit the "Great Satan" (us) as well as every city in Europe. In other words, rather than watching (on TV) the sirens going off in Israel when Iran launches a missile, the sirens would be going off in our homeland.

Drones - Ready or not, here they come. Some defense experts recently said that drones are the new "suicide vests". They are low and slow but also getting more accurate. Iran has thousands of them and the factories in Iran keeping pumping them out. Love them or hate them, drones are here to stay - and Iran has legions of them.

The Poison - The real prize for Iran, the one in which they have been striving to complete, is enough enriched uranium to make at least a dozen nuclear bombs with, which can be put on top of a ballistic missile. Iran has enough enriched uranium right now to meet that goal - all it needs is a bit more time on the centrifuge, and it will be good to go. That my friends, is the real threat - and it is at the door, waiting to come in.

While the Democrats let Obama get away with murder while he was in the Oval Office, bombing numerous countries WITHOUT CONGRESSION APPROVAL, we have a real threat here in Iran. Do the Democrats have a death wish? Do nothing and let nature take its course? Seems that way. Trump on the other hand, does not see it that way. And that is why we have engaged Iran. Putting our blood and money at risk. But with Iran, the risk is worth it.

A little help here, PLEASE!

"But this is important and is the golden nugget. For the United States and Israel to taking down Iran (who is in control of thousands of ballistic missiles and even more drones), would be a favor to the world. Why? The Mullahs are megalomaniacs. They wanted to put a nuclear warhead on some of their long-range missiles. Always been their plan."

What in the world has happened to our "friends" in Europe? They have become soft and self-centered. How so? First the UK denied us the use of Deigo Garca during the execution of Operation Epic Fury. Then Spain denied us the use of joint usage air bases in Spain so long as Operation Epic Fury was in effect. What - what? These nation states are NATO allies - so what gives? They are collectively as brave as young cats (if you know what I mean).

We don't need any help in the execution of Epic Fury. Israel and the US are doing just fine, thank you. In fact, this morning on the news it was disclosed that the US and Israel have achieved air superiority over all of Iran. That means all air defenses in Iran are gone. We could safely fly Piper Cubs over Iran's air space. But there is something else we (as well as the free world) need help on.

Iran is dead set, not matter how poorly the war is going for them, to shut down the Strait of Hormuz. Why? For starters, 20% of the world's oil uses the Strait. If that oil becomes bottled up and can't deliver, the price of a barrel of crude will spike. Which means the price of gasoline will spike. But that is not all. Many goods use the Strait for commerce. We don't have enough ships on station to execute Epic Fury as well as keeping the Strait open.

Who could help keep the Strait open, so the world does not suffer needlessly? Great Britian, France, Spain, Italy, Norway, (do I need to continue?). Keeping the Strait open is the least that NATO can do to help. The US and Israel will continue on with the heavy lifting.

But this is important and is the golden nugget. For the United States and Israel to taking down Iran (who is in control of thousands of ballistic missiles and even more drones), would be a favor to the world. Why? The Mullahs are megalomaniacs. They wanted to put a nuclear warhead on some of their long-range missiles. Always been their plan. By taking Iran down now, it has saved the world a horrible event in the near future. No nation needs to thank us, just don't hinder us.

Just how is the war going? If you ask the US or Israel, they will respond by saying very well, thank you. If you ask the Supreme Leader of Iran the same question, his answer would be total silence.

A little war for a whole lot of peace?

"This week the Democrats will try to muster enough votes to end this war for freedom in Iran. Why? They hate Trump so much, they would sacrifice freedom and peace in the Middle East just to get at Trump. The vote should fail, and this war for liberation and peace will continue. But when will this war end? When it is over. Trust me, nobody wants it over quicker than the brave men and women who are currently at the tip of the spear."

In February of 1979, my wife had been married not quite five years. We had recently moved into our first house. The company I worked for housed some Iranian pilots for training on the airborne computers which the company manufactured. Through an FMS (Foreign Military Sale), the company was under contract by the Shah of Iran. Then the revolution came. Just like that, the deal was over. Our embassy staff in Iran was held hostage by the radicals in the "new" Iran for 444 days. The pilots who were onsite at the company were like orphans. No home to go back to. Then for the next almost fifty years, the world witnessed a new face of terror. Having a theocracy in Iran - has been terrible for the region - for the world. That is, until Donald Trump became president.

It is somewhat ironic that right after the launch of the Board of Peace, the man who founded the Board would unleash his military on Iran. But this war will be different. It is a necessary war to bring about a whole lot of peace. Whereas the War on Ukraine started by Putin is nothing more than a war of conquest. The war (should it come) for Taiwan will be a war for conquest by China. Once we liberate Iran from its now unwanted theocracy, there will be no conquest by anybody. Only freedom for the people, and peace for the world.

Donald Trump spent countless hours with his negotiation team trying to strike a deal which would bring about peace with no bloodshed. But there were three red lines which needed to be agreed to for the deal to be struck. No enriched uranium, no ballistic missiles, and free elections for the people. The answer by the team the Mullahs had sent to Geneva was "No, no and no". That was it for negotiations. Even though Trump offered "off ramps" to the Iranians, they refused. The carrot did not work, so it was time to use the stick.

This almost fifty-year nightmare needed to come to an end. Donald Trump has told the Iranian people that we are "setting the table" for their freedom, but they must finish the job by liberating themselves from their current theocracy. The problem for the unarmed people of Iran is simply this - they will be going up against what remains of the IRGC and the elite Quds Force. By the way, it is thought it was the Quds Force who was behind the massacre of the 30,000+ innocent protestors in the streets of Iran. The people remember that. The US and Isreal need to further degrade the IRGC and Quds to make an internal overthrow of the current regime more likely to succeed.

This week the Democrats will try to muster enough votes to end this war for freedom in Iran. Why? They hate Trump so much, they would sacrifice freedom and peace in the Middle East just to get at Trump. The vote should fail, and this war for liberation and peace will continue. But when will this war end? When it is over. Trust me, nobody wants it over quicker than the brave men and women who are currently at the tip of the spear.
