"She is so cute, so smart, so articulate, yet so clueless..."

I have a confession to make. At least once a week, I turn on Morning Joe at 5 am. Do I watch it because I think it is good? No. On the contrary it is brutally bad. The main reason I watch it is because of Mika Brzezinski. Yes, the daughter of the National Security Advisor in the Carter Administration.

You see, Mika is one of the chief apologists for the "gang that can't shoot straight". Scandal after scandal, she does her best to defend the King and his court. Most of the time she falls far short, but I always give her an "A" for effort. After all, it is hard to make a silk purse out of a sows ear.

This morning, on the path to Damascus, the scales fell off of her eyes. The usually well spoken and polished Mika, was tongue tied. The latest of many (and I mean many) flub ups by the Administration has left her, well, flummoxed. "What the President did made no sense! I don't understand!" What was the subject? The prisoner exchange which just took place. It was not just one element of this flub up that she did not understand, it was the entire event.

She looked mad and crushed at the same time. It was as if she had just been dumped by the captain of the football team a week before prom. Our new President, our first President who was not white, our President who was going to be the anti-Bush - is a phony. Now most of us knew that fact long before term one began. For Mika, because she wanted so, so hard to believe, it took almost 6 years.

I thought the VA scandal was going to be the straw that broke the camel's back. It still might be. However, this one has legs, long, long legs. Last night Bill O'Reilly said half of the country is tuned out. They just don't care. They are living in the Matrix of smart phones and video games. Because of that O'Reilly said, "the President can do the razzle dazzle and get away with it." If this is true, we are in deep, deep trouble.

As was said in the movie The Matrix, "Mika, welcome to the real world". Now if all the rest of the lemmings and low information types will follow suit. November cannot come soon enough. Victory in November! No more, no less!
