A hand overplayed?

"Keep overplaying your hand Democrats. Already the path to victory in 2022 is looking better and better. Our campaign strategy? Watching you guys muck things up for the American people."

You have to give the Democrats credit for one thing. They know how to screw things up - royally. Here they somehow got Slo Joe into the White House, held the House with the 80 year old Ms. Nancy as Speaker, and have a split Senate - and somehow, they are overplaying their hands. I mean, bigly overplaying their hands.

It was just a couple months ago, many of us thought that all was lost in Georgia. We questioned the backbone of the Republican Governor, both Senate seats were lost to a couple of Democrat losers, and the redness of the state was suddenly starting to look bluish purple. And then, wonder of wonders, the Democrats decided to shoot themselves in the foot. They pressured the MLB hierarchy, Delta, and Coke into condemning the new voting act in Georgia. In fact, the pressure was so intense (with Slo Joe's backing), MLB has pulled the All Star Game out of Atlanta, and moved it to Denver.

The "wokeness" of the Democrat Party will be their undoing. And I could not be happier. One African American lady who is running for a Senate seat in another southern state, had this to say about the racism of the Democrat Party. Racism? What do you mean Bird? The Democrats have been telling black folk for years now that because they don't have the where-with-all to get an ID. Therefore, any voting bill which mandates voter ID is racist.

What this Senate candidate said was simple and to the point (remember now, she is black) - "I have known black folk all of my life, and have never known one who did not have ID. To keep saying that black folk don't know how to get an ID is undermining and just plain wrong."

BINGO! Whereas the Democrats keep telling minorities how dumb and dependent they are, Republicans try to show them a better way. Donald Trump was EXCELLENT at this. He looked at people as people - not different colors which could be exploited for political purposes. Trump, like Reagan, believed in a rising tide raising all boats. Trump wanted nothing for every American, regardless of skin color, except total opportunity to be the best they could be. Trump's job, was to "plow the road", to ensure government did not get in their way. Democrats on the other hand, try to shroud minorities with the cloak of big government. Make them dependent on the nanny state.

Keep overplaying your hand Democrats. Already the path to victory in 2022 is looking better and better. Our campaign strategy? Watching you guys muck things up for the American people.

By the end of this year, the American people will be clamoring to have the adults back in charge, and Slo Joe back at the Easy Acre Rest Home. And Hunter Biden? He can keep snorting parmesan cheese to his heart's content.

And the beat goes on...

"The folks running the joint right now are either flipping nuts, morons, or both. Or maybe they are just traitors to this great     nation as well as enemies of the state."

Let's see - where do I begin this morning. One thing about Slo Joe and his merry bunch of country hating misfits - there is never a dull moment. Always something cooking, and what is cooking ain't good. In fact, it smells putrid. So I might as well get started.

Southern Border - When Donald Trump warned us that if we opened up the southern border, we would not only have tens of thousands of illegals (many of them kids), but also a boat load of cartel sponsored drugs, sex trafficking, baddies, and terrorists. Trump was excoriated by the MSM. But - all his predictions have come true so far.

This morning, it was disclosed two bad apples from Yemen (on the terror watch list), were apprehended coming over the southern border. Also, the DEA has reported that drug seizures are way up (these are only the drugs which are caught - the majority are not). One stash of weed was so large, the Border Patrol said it was enough to produce 21 million joints.

Infrastructure Bill - Joe Biden does not give two poops and a holler if any Republicans support this massive, pork filled bill or not. These are just platitudes when Biden says he will have "discussions" with Republicans to see if they want to support his bill, or even offer changes. Bull crap - this is just a canard.

Yesterday, the Senate Parliamentarian gave the green light to have the Senate pass this very expensive blob by using a simple majority (reconciliation) instead of the customary 60 votes. This, after the Covid relief bill was passed the same way. If this comes to fruition, war will break out in the Senate. It ain't gonna be pretty, that is for sure.

By the way, I need to make a correction about the makeup of this infrastructure bill, which I reported on earlier. I said it was 25% infrastructure and 75% DNC pork. Senator Kennedy from Louisiana recently shed some light on this bill. So, I stand corrected. He said it is closer to 5% true infrastructure and 95% garbage.

Right now, Joe Manchin is our only hope. He will not support this bill if Biden raises corporate taxes over 25%. If Biden lowers the corporate rate to 25%, Manchin will be in. Why is 25% so important? That is China's rate. If we have a rate higher than China's, that will put our nation's producers out in left field.

Bottom line? Biden, Harris, Kerry, Clinton(s), Pelosi, Schumer, Schiff, Nadler, (the list goes on and on), are hell bent on ruining our country. Be it the southern border, the Iran deal resurrection, destruction of our energy industry, budget busting pork bills we cannot afford, or playing patsy to China - they are killing us right now. THEY SHOULD ALL BE IMPEACHED AND/OR CONVICTED - NOW! Instead of make believe stuff like they tried to pin on Trump, the charges against the socialists are deep and wide.

The beat goes on folks, and we cannot afford to have this beat go on. It is more of a beat down to the taxpaying public, than just a beat. The folks running the joint right now are either flipping nuts, morons, or both. Or maybe they are just traitors to this great nation as well as enemies of the state.

Our road less traveled

"The road ahead for us who call ourselves citizens and patriots will not be easy. The forces against us are strengthening their resolve. I think we saw that in the mess down in Atlanta."

One of the things that our current President seems to have forgotten is a simple fact. There are at least 75 million people in this country who did not vote for him. Who rejected all the pabulum and snake oil that he and Harris were trying to peddle. As such, the hoards of disenfranchised Trump voters are not going away. We have not, nor will not, go away. And yes, we still love, and care deeply about our country.

The road ahead for us who call ourselves citizens and patriots will not be easy. It is a road less traveled for us. The forces against us are strengthening their resolve. I think we saw that in the mess down in Atlanta. The "voter suppression bill" as Stacy Abrams calls it. And what is it in reality? A voter accommodation bill, with ample opportunity for legal voters to vote in the next election. So what is the real issue in Georgia? The word "legal". And to show support for the socialists on this canard, Coke, Delta, and MLB have prostituted themselves. Prostituted to appear to be "woke".

Jessie Kelly (from iHeartRadio) was on a cable channel this past week. He was much more blunt and direct when discussing the issue of Biden overreach. (With slight paraphrasing) ,"The 75 million folks who voted for Trump are not going to take all this socialist migration laying down. Biden needs to be aware of that." (Some stronger language, but I don't want to enter FB jail again.) And by the way, we will not take it laying down.

This latest monstrosity called "Infrastructure" is a Trojan Horse, and every honest person knows it. This bill has as much to do with infrastructure, as green cheese has to do with the Moon. We are going to stop this bill dead in its tracks. We are going to sue to socks off of the Biden Administration for what they are doing on the southern border, as well as what they are doing to our energy industry. We are not going to allow Biden to pen an executive action which will forgive $50K/person student debt. We will fight these things in the courts, and in the streets, by loudly protesting, if we have to.

If our side were of a different temperament and ilk (like the socialists are), this country would either be headed for civil war, or would already be there. But that is not the way we roll. That being said, our side understands fully why the Second Amendment was penned into our Bill of Rights. Not target shooting, not hunting, not even self protection. It was to keep a Constitutional Republic from become a tyranny. That is why the left hates and fears the Second Amendment so much. And they should.

Tread lightly as you go forward Mr. Biden. We are watching. We are paying attention. And we love this country a whole lot more than we love you. Just saying...

The greatest story ever told

"This is the greatest story ever told. Without this story, we always be searching for that light which would light the world. But because of this story, we now have it. Thank God, it is here for us to follow. For us, and all mankind who will follow."

When many of us were younger, we might have gone with our parents to see Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ. That was the name of the book written many years ago by General Lew Wallace. For the movie, staring Charlton Heston as Juda Ben-Hur, the title was shortened to just Ben-Hur. An excellent movie, it is still played from time to time on one of the cable, or even network stations.

Another book was written years later, was penned by Fulton Oursler. The Greatest Story Ever Told, was made into a movie and started Max Von Sydow as Jesus. This is my favorite role that Max starred in.

Then came 1970, when (gasp!) a rock opera entered the scene. It was written not by theologians, but a couple of guys who liked to write music. As many young folks in the world felt their faith starting to slip away, along comes this rock opera which described the gospel in (gasp!), rock and roll terms. Some thought it was sacrilege, others thought is was a new media for this most important message.

One of my fondest memories when I was stationed on Okinawa in 1970-1971, was when Jesus Christ Superstar hit the island. The PX at Kadena Air Force Base could hardly keep that album in stock. EVERYONE wanted it. All of sudden, when this album started to proliferate around base housing, it was all you would hear. Not guys yakking at each other and making fun of it- these were young men, listening intently, thinking back on the greatest story ever told, which they had learned back in Sunday School.

Okay - flash forward to today. Many mega-churches like Eagle Brook have been criticized for how they attract people to worship. They use jazzy music. It may be biblical, but it is still jazzy. Just like Jesus Christ Superstar, was too rocky. But both have brought people (most young, who have fallen away), back to the church.

The greatest story ever told can be told in many ways, at many times. But the purpose of the story stays the same. Redemption. Forgiveness. Hope. Victory. On this Maundy Thursday, when Jesus was betrayed by one of his own, captured in the Garden of Gethsemane, arrested, beaten, and then worse - started on this day.

When Mel Gibson directed The Passion of the Christ, it received a "R" rating. Swearing? Sex? Not hardly. It received a "R" rating because Jesus was not only crucified, he was butchered (per Max Lucado). No sugar coating on this story of the passion. But without the awfulness of this weekend, we would not have the hope that Easter Sunday brings us.

If it is Ben-Hur, The The Greatest Story Ever Told, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Passion of the Christ, or just reading God's Word - the story stays the same. The Passion stays the same, the outcome stays the same, and the hope for all mankind, always stays the same.

This is the greatest story ever told. Without this story, we always be searching for that light which would light the world. But because of this story, we now have it. Thank God, it is here for us to follow. For us, and all mankind who will follow.

Infrastructure light

"This is going to sound like a broken record, but it needs to be said one more time. CONGRESS - DO YOUR BLINKING JOB! We do not live in a monarchy. Biden is not a king."

Did everyone hear Slo Joe live yesterday, or later on in the day when it was replayed? He brought this pig out called infrastructure, and tried to put some lipstick on it. Not only lipstick, but rouge, concealer, perfume and eyeliner. But it was still a pig - and an ugly one at that.

Just like the American Rescue Act (stimulus # 3) was only 9% Covid related and 91% bull crap, this bill is slightly better. It is 25% infrastructure related, and 75% bull crap. "But", Slo Joe said, "this is a once in a generation opportunity to transform many things." Translation = this is the Great Reset, which will change our country from MAGA to Venezuela. Instantly go from wonderful to wanderlust, where we will wander and wonder what the hell just happened to us.

What Slo Joe laid out yesterday, had just a bit of infrastructure, a whole lot of tax increases, and wrapped up in the New Green Deal. It is money we don't have, doing many things we don't need. Now the irony is this - if this had been a true infrastructure bill, the Republicans may have wanted to tinker around the edges, but for the most part, they would have supported it. For this piece of dung, expect zero Republican support.

And that brings me to the most germane part of this article. It is time for us to lose the "deer in the headlights" look, as Slo Joe runs roughshod all over us. We have an almost evenly divided House right now, and a 50-50 Senate. We are not shrinking violets. It is time for the House Republicans to convince conservative Democrats to join them in stopping this nonsense. It is time for Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema to join the Senate Republicans in slowing down or stopping this crap. Without their support, the 75+ million of us who voted for Trump, are going to continue to be steamrolled.

Donald Trump wanted to address infrastructure. However, he had a hostile Congress who was more concerned with impeaching him. So, that never happened during the Trump years. But the support remains for improvements to much of our aging infrastructure. Support for the 75% of bull crap which also resides in this bill? Nada.

This is going to sound like a broken record, but it needs to be said one more time. CONGRESS - DO YOUR BLINKING JOB! We do not live in a monarchy. Biden is not a king. Word of warning to Congress - if you don't stop Biden right now, we will stop you in November of 2022. Count on it.

Taxing the poor

"Welcome to Biden's America. Instead of the land of milk and honey, we will now be the land of long lines and high costs."

What is the biggest lie in Washington which has been repeated every time we have a Democrat Administration? "Our plan is to only tax the rich. Not the middle class, and certainly not the poor." Right. These are the words spoken by those who never worked in the private sector. Those who never had to satisfy investors with a P+L sheet which is printed in black instead of red. Of all the clowns the Democrats have had running the joint from time to time, Joe Biden is perhaps the biggest clown. And the biggest liar. He is about to ruin the country with one giant, bloated, bill, oozing with greenie and social engineering BS. Better known as the "infrastructure" bill.

Some of the specifics of the bill are now being leaked to both houses of Congress. Why? To "soften them up" before they get the real deal. Get some Republican support this time around. But they won't. Why? This bill is not an "infrastructure" bill at all - it is in reality, the Great Reset. The "game changer" we have heard so much about. This is the bill which will change the country. It will change our economy. It will kill the Golden Goose, which has allowed this country to be the economic powerhouse it always has been. All because Slo Joe wants to look in the mirror, and see FDR looking back at him.

Have no doubt - this bill will punish everyone. It will strip the upper class of much of their wealth. It will strip the middle class of much of their purchasing power. It will make a bad situation even worse for the poor. How so? How about paying between 3 and 4 dollars a gallon for gasoline, when we have recently been paying just over 2 dollars? How about having our heating bills in the winter time go through the roof by forcing us to use the false god of renewable energy? How about our electric bills going up by double digits in the summer, because Slo Joe pulled the plug on coal? The poor are going to take it in the shorts folks. Have no doubt about that one.

This Great Reset bill, will do just the opposite of what Reagan's "a rising tide lifts all boats" philosophy did. Reagan wanted his economics to elevate folks from the lower class to the middle class. Folks in the middle class, to the upper class. Slo Joe's bill will do just the opposite. Everyone will sink down a level or two. Why? Equity. If we are all equally poor, and 100% reliant on the government, it will be game over. Case closed. The United States will have then become Venezuela.

How did we sink so low so quickly? How did we go from MAGA, to Biden's soup line in almost a nanosecond? When we start to over tax the corporations, much of that excess taxation will passed on to you and me as costs. Fact. Once again, even the poor will be the hardest hit, we will all suffer. All become more poor.

Rather than looking out on a bright, shining future, everything over the horizon will suddenly look darker. Darker because of a self inflicted wound, dressed up as this Great Reset bill. It is as if everyone who voted for Slo Joe had taken leave of their senses on that Tuesday in November. They committed mass economic suicide.

Welcome to Biden's America. Instead of the land of milk and honey, we will now be the land of long lines and high costs.

"Beyond a shadow of a doubt..."

"This is the OJ trail of our day. Neither Chauvin nor Floyd were celebrities like OJ, but the complexity of this trail is of high interest, just like the OJ trial was."

I never went to law school. Thought about it for a short (heavy on the word short) period of time, but after getting out of four years in the Navy, I was satisfied with my BS (no jokes, please) degree. So I entered the workforce, and ended up working with lawyers, doing contract negotiations. That being said, I find courtroom proceedings to be fascinating. The Chauvin trial is no exception.

This trial is somewhat unique. It is a murder trial, in which the death of the victim was videotaped. Videotaped and watched by just about everyone, many times over. So what is the big deal? This should be a slam dunk. Guilty. Trial should take a day or so. But hold on. There is a fly in the ointment.

The fly is this. In a criminal trail, especially a murder trial, guilt has to be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. I think, as well as many legal experts who are watching this, everything will hinge on the cause of death. And this is the bug-a-boo. Did George Floyd die from the "neck kneel" administered by Dereck Chauvin for nine minutes? Was that directly or indirectly responsible? Or was it the cocktail of drugs in Floyd's system? Or was it his heart condition? Or was it a combination of all of the above? That is the tall mountain for the jury to figure out in this trial.

Here is one thing which bothers me about this trial. Right after George Floyd died, the county ME did an autopsy. The results of that autopsy showed the kneeling on the neck did not cause death. The prosecutors did not like that result. So they went out and obtained the services of another agency to perform a subsequent autopsy. Which one is correct?

The other thing is what I call the first responder reflex. Most all cops are trained to be first responders. They know a medical emergency when they see one. Even if Chauvin did not directly cause George Floyd to die, he should be held accountable for not calling EMTs as soon as he saw Floyd foaming at the mouth long before he put him on the ground. If the four cops had treated this stop as a medical emergency as well as law enforcement stop, maybe Floyd would still be alive today.

This is the OJ trail of our day. Neither Chauvin nor Floyd were celebrities like OJ, but the complexity of this trail is of high interest, just like the OJ trial was. For Chauvin, was he guilty of some degree of murder, of manslaughter, or negligence? The results of that question will have a huge impact to not only Chauvin, but also the community which lives in Minneapolis.
