"Why haven't you resigned?"

"All three of these guys need to go. They will do fine, as they all have four star pensions. Plus, they will probably get gigs on MSNBC or CNN."

General Mark Milley. Looks good all dressed up. Miles and miles of "fruit salad" (ribbons) on his dress uniform. A General's General - right? Maybe. Senator Tom Cotton, had the question of the day during the Senate hearings earlier this week. After some questioning, and not getting very satisfactory answers from this four star General Officer, Senator Cotton asked him, "Why haven't you resigned?" Ouch. Tough question coming from some former Captain in the Army Infantry. 

I admit. I watched, or listen to, much of the Senate hearing as well as the House hearing. Some of the Democrats asked tough questions, other Democrats fawned all over Austin, Milley and McKenzie. All of the Republicans had tough, pointed questions. After careful consideration, here are my thoughts:

• Both Milley and McKenzie had recommended we keep a force of 2,500 in country. Biden overruled them. Out of honor, both Generals should have tended their resignations immediately. They were right, and Biden was wrong.
• Milley should have NEVER agreed to be interviewed by Woodward for his book (as well as other books). Milley should have known Woodward was going to do a "hit" piece on the former President. He should have declined the offer. For that infraction alone, he should have been fired.
• Where in the world did the intel come from, that China was convinced Trump was going to launch on them in his final days in office? Somehow, Milley found out, and called his counterpart to assure him this was false. Here is the issue - this was huge. Maybe unprecedented. For another foreign power (with nukes), to think we were going to conduct a first strike, should have rattled us to the core. There should have been many calls to the CCP, starting with Trump calling Xi. Milley should have been canned for this issue also.
• McKenzie admitted the botched air strike, which killed an innocent man and his family, was his fault. McKenzie also admitted our "over the horizon" capabilities without having assets on the ground, was weak. So weak, we did not know our Hellfire missile was targeting the wrong house. And the purported strike by ISIS-K on our troops we were suppose to have taken out? Never happened. That intel was crap. McKenzie should be relieved - immediately.
• Both Austin and Milley blamed State for how bad things went. "They were calling the shots", they said in so many words. When Blinken was in front of the Senate panel, he cast the blame on the DOD. Bottom line? Nobody was in charge. That is why we left so many in country. That is why we lost 13 service people at the end. Nobody was in charge of this major cluster. Biden should be impeached for this alone.

Here is the way one Congressman summed this 20 year war up. Right after 9/11, Afghanistan was run by the Taliban and was a safe haven for terror groups like Al Qaeda to operate. Twenty years later, after spilling American blood and spending trillions, Afghanistan is again run by the Taliban, and Al Qaeda (and ISIS-K), are present in country. PLUS - now that we do not have a southern border (unlike 2001), the terrorists from Afghanistan have free access to our country. 

All three of these guys need to go. They will do fine, as they all have four star pensions. Plus, they will probably get gigs on MSNBC or CNN. The lessons of Afghanistan will be taught in our service academies for years to come. Under the heading of, "how to lose a winnable war". It will be the chapter right after the same lessons we did not learn from Viet Nam. 

Murderapolis - Redux

 

"Murderapolis redux. Well done Mayor Frey. Well done City Council. Well done voters, who keep electing and re-electing these morons. If the goal was to make this city unlivable, mission accomplished."     

The year - 1995. Minneapolis, the city of Mary Tyler Moore and many tranquil lakes, had a record 97 homicides. It was a number so shockingly high, some nicknamed our sleepy little burg, Murderapolis. The deep dark secret in 1995 is the same secret we have today, with 71 homicides so far. Most of these murders are young black men killing young black men. Same as it is in many of the large blue cities. Where is Jesse? Al? BLM? All the protests? Good question.

This year, the year the citizens of Minneapolis will vote to get rid of their cops, crime is running wild in Minneapolis. The year after the Floyd incident, we are still looking for those racist cops who are killing our black youth. Or the white supremists, running around in MAGA hats. It is possible there are still some of each - albeit a very small number, if there are. The fact remains, gangs and drugs are fueling our crime in Minneapolis. And if the citizens of Minneapolis vote to get rid of their cops, who is going to fix the gang and drug problem? Influencers? Violence de-escalators? Social workers? Mr. Rogers? Dr. Phil?

The other night, a little boy was almost killed at 3am. How? He was sleeping in his bed. But two cars, decided to have a gun fight with each other. One of the errant rounds when through the walls of a house, and wounded this young lad. So, you can't even be safe sleeping in your own bed anymore? Is this what Murderapolis has come too?

I have mentioned this before. The city of Chicago has allowed its crime problem to get so large, one of the citizens set up a website called Hey, Jackass! It gives the gruesome crime details on a daily basis. Will Murderapolis be next? The vast majority of folks I hang with, avoid that city like the plague. I know my wife and I do. There is no upside in going downtown. None. All risk, no gain.

A friend of my sister-in-law, was having dinner with some friends at a well known steak house in Minneapolis. She had valet parking for her car. When the young man brought her car around, his words were chilling to her. "Do not stop at any traffic light. Even if it is red, run it. Do not stop." Why would he say this? Because she would be a sitting duck to the predators who are carjacking innocent people after dark. When people are stopped at a traffic light, is when they are the most vulnerable.

Pickled in the Middle

"Is help on the way? If Republicans can take over the House and the Senate in 2022, there will be a glimmer of hope. But this time, if the Republicans get the chance to lead, lead they must! With the right leadership, immovable columns in Washington will once again become movable." 

I am reminded or the movie Hercules, which I saw as a lad. In one scene, Hercules had a chain in each hand, and endeavored to bring down a building by down pulling down the massive stone columns which were holding it up. One chain in each hand. Two immovable objects.

Only in real life today, we have Joe Biden doing the same thing. Trying to move two immovable columns. Instead of body builder Steve Reeves playing the part of Hercules, we have Joe Biden playing the part of Joe Biden. The two immovable columns Hercules brought down to save the day. It was a great ending to the movie. But the two immovable items that Biden is wrestling with? They are not going anywhere.

What are the two immovable items that Biden is wrestling with? That he has no chance of moving? One are the socialists in his party, led by the Squad. That "column" is very upset with Joe Biden, that he is even thinking about compromise with the other column. They would like the $3.5T socialism bill to be even larger. In fact, according to the Wall Street Journal, the true cost of the bill already is larger. Like $2T larger, than what this $3.5T bill is being peddled at. In any event, the socialists making up this column - their heels are dug in on this issue.

The other "column" are made up of the Republicans and some moderate Democrats. Most of whom, can see through this  flimsy façade of a bill for what it is. Garbage, socialism garbage. However - true infrastructure, is something most Republicans and moderate Democrats can get behind. But some in Ms. Nancy's kingdom, do not want the $1.2T true infrastructure bill signed before the phony $3.5T bill is signed into law. Good luck on that one!

So, here is Biden. Pickled in the middle. Unable to move either column. What then, is being signed into law? Nothing this week - including raising the debt ceiling (due by Friday). This is the result of an almost 50-50 divided Congress, elected by an almost 50-50 electorate. A marriage which has gone from strained, to hostile. Whatever becomes law, rest assured that half the country will hate it.

Hey Joe! Get your head out of your hands and man up! You wanted this job! Or, your handlers wanted you to have this job. In any event, the country is in a mess right now, and you are not a Hercules. Heck, you are not even a Barney Fife. Your (and your handlers) visceral hatred of Donald Trump has put you (and the country), in a pickle right now.

The (perfect) Christmas Grinch

"Much of what is making up this perfect storm cannot be changed. It is cast in concrete. That is - except for one thing. Stop all unemployment insurance. If you are not working, you will not be paid."

Okay. We are a month and change away from Halloween. About two months away from Turkey Day. And? So? The experts who study this stuff, are saying the time is now to do your Christmas gift ordering. And why in the world is that? The "perfect storm" which is coming this Christmas. Or should we say, the perfect Christmas Grinch. That Grinch, is not being able to get "stuff" - including Christmas presents. And it all gets back to those dozens upon dozens of container ships, which are moored off the coasts of our major ports.

I am now going to sound like our "giggle puss" Veep for a minute. I am going to "root cause" what the heck is going on here. How this all started. I mean, this type of perfect storm has not happened before. Here is what many financial experts are pointing towards - the pandemic. Why the pandemic? Because even though the United States was the hardest hit, it still hit many other countries all over the world. Including countries who make our stuff.

That is the first cloud in this perfect storm. The hiatus in manufacturing for some of our goods. Then mix in the financial "gifts" our government was giving people to ameliorate the financial suffering from the pandemic. Gifts so lavish, that the financial incentive to go back to work once the coast was at least partially clear (from the virus) - vanished. All of a sudden we have 12,000,000 unfilled jobs, and helped wanted signs were popping up all over the place. That is cloud two of the perfect storm.

Next, mix in the demographic shift which has been in the making for years. This would be cloud three. Low birth rates in this country, followed by an aging population. That means more and more gray hairs. Retired folk. Part of that mix were the truck drivers. The over the road truckers who had a CDL. When the goods finally get to our ports, we don't have enough truckers to drive the containers away from the container ships. 

All of these ingredients will probably leave us with a Grinch like Christmas. We will be like Cindy Lou Who, who was stuck with a scraggly tree on Christmas morning, with not much under it. Is there any way out of this conundrum? Much of what is making up this perfect storm cannot be changed. It is cast in concrete. That is - except for one thing. Stop all unemployment insurance. If you are not working, you will not be paid. Those 12,000,000 job openings will be filled quicker than you can say "Joe Biden is a phony".

I will repeat what I said in an earlier post. Until we get back to "normal", consider your bunker. At any time, the supply chain can get really goofy, and we might not be able to get even the most fundamental of supplies. Don't let this Grinch to not only ruin your Christmas, but also your day to day living.       

To serve and be served...

One of the biggest struggles today with large churches, is how to make a large church seem small. This is especially important to churches like Eagle Brook, who currently worships over 25,000 per week. So, how do you do that? Make a large or mega church seem small? Many churches have started small groups or "home churches", to meet in a smaller venue each week. How is that working out? For some churches, very well, thank you.

The senior pastor at the church we attended years ago, had a very simple recipe. In any church, no matter the size, church members needed to "Know and be known, love and be loved, and serve and be served." And it worked fine for many. The community, or Koinonia of that church, was excellent. During the height of its anointing, that church was like a second home for many in the congregation. My oldest daughter once exclaimed that "walking into our church, was like walking into a warm hug." True that!

Our current church has an interesting take on how to make the large church smaller. Everybody in the congregation is given the opportunity to sign up for "house groups". They meet once a week, for fellowship, support, and small group worship. Last year, an astounding 80% of the congregation were in "house groups". This year, looks to be a repeat of that success. 

One other benefit of being with others in the faith in a smaller group setting. As Christians, all the way from baby Christians to mature ones, accountability brothers and sisters are important. Why? Proverbs 27:17 talks about "iron sharpening iron". As important as it is to go out into the world to practice Matthew 25:40 and Matthew 28:16-20, followers of Christ also need be sharpened on a regular basis. It really is that important.

Our first "house group" meeting is tonight. I am really looking forward to it. Meeting new friends, and being with fellow believers. I am excited about once again, "know and be known, love and be loved, serve and be served." Amen to that! 

Systemic Racism?

"I have some systemic racism within me. There is a certain group of people I have a lot of trouble with. Bald headed Cubans, who have been hired to protect us, but do nothing but lie."

Oh my! The fun bunch is at it again. This time, the targets are the fine gents who make up the Border Patrol. Their cruelty towards the Haitian border hoppers, already has been condemned by the President, the Veep, and the bald headed Cuban. For what? Beats me. Actually, beats nobody, as in nobody was beaten by the Border Patrol.

A picture was snapped by a Mexican photographer, which was interpreted the wrong way. In the eyes of people who do know better, it was just a picture of skilled horsemen of the Border Patrol, trying to safely keep illegals out of the country. But - in the eyes of Biden and company, it was worse than "Jim Crow". Worse than slavery. Innocent Haitians were being run down, and whipped by racists on horseback.  

Biden is the worst of the worst. When asked by the press what is happening on the border (like, where are all these Haitians coming from), he almost fell over, as he pivoted so hard. All of a sudden, he was channeling the persona of Judge Roy Bean. In one fell swoop, he acted as the judge, the jury, and the executioner for the "racists" on the Border Patrol. "They are going to pay for this!", Biden hissed. Pay for what? Based on what? Nothing. Nothing except a rapidly developing narrative. No truth, all BS.

Even though this senile old President can't get out of this rut, I expect more from the head of DHS. But no. If he had a shred of honor, he would throw his badge down and quit. Instead, he takes this BIG LIE the President is developing, and goes with it. Mayorkas is a piece of work. He has no honor. That is the best I can say.

By the way, did you know the "racists" on the Border Patrol are made up of about half Hispanic folks? Thanks to Biden's hatred of Donald Trump, they have about the toughest job in the country. And yet, despite all that rigor and toughness, these are very compassionate people. Not the "Jack Booted thugs" that Biden makes them out to be. 

The reins from the horses are going to be tested for DNA, to see if any Haitian DNA is found. It won't be, as nobody was "whipped", like Biden asserted. Then what? If there is no evidence of DNA? It should mean that Biden, Harris, and Mayorkas owes the Border Patrol a huge apology. But it won't. The clown car we elected, will keep up this narrative, regardless of no evidence.

I should close this article out with a confession. I have some systemic racism within me. There is a certain group of people I have a lot of trouble with. Bald headed Cubans, who have been hired to protect us, but do nothing but lie. There you go Biden - now you can call me a racist as well.  

The coming American drought (and not from lack of rain)...

"The Great American Drought. Whenever, wherever - buy American when possible. Stuff coming in from the Westpac, might be very problematic. What is the solution to this trucker shortage? Short of AI driven trucks, I have no clue."

It is coming folks. Sooner than you think. It has been forecasted for years, and is now on our doorstep. The Great American Drought. It has little to nothing to do with the weather or "climate change". It has everything to do with logistics. Oh Bird - talking about the pandemic again! Nope. This has little to nothing to do with the pandemic. Again, it has everything to do with logistics - in particular, the common carrier - aka, the over the road trucker.

In the graphic above, there are 44 container ships off the coast of Long Beach and Los Angles, California. Why? They are just waiting to unload. Three weeks ago, 44 ships waiting in queue was an all time record. Today, there are 70 container ships waiting to unload. How much is 70 container ships? It is was Long Beach (the second busiest sea port in America), usually does in the month of August. August has 31 days. And these container ships are just sitting out there, waiting, with more on the way.

The Ports of Los Angles, and Long Beach, combined, are the 10th busiest port area in the world. In other words, lots and lots of stuff this country needs, comes in via these twin ports. My wife and I have gone by them, when coming in from a cruise. Impressive to say the least. 

In 2019, Canada was short 25,000 licenced truck drivers. We were short 60,000. Today, it is worse. Some estimates are as high as 80,000. I read one article, which said it was closer to 100,000. In any event, that is where the real snag comes in. Stuff has been ordered, it has been made. It has shipped. But without trucks ready to receive what is coming off those container ships (or trains, if they get the containers on trains), we are stuck. Stuck so much so, that many will now find out the disadvantages of globalism.

I would like to offer a ray of sunshine on this issue, but I can't. This trucker shortage has been forecasted for some years now, and now the "chickens are about ready to come home to roost." It has been reported that three East Coast states, who have municipal liquor stores, can't get some product from overseas. In fact, some of those stores are so short, they are rationing. Heads up Midwesterners - the next time you are at the liquor store, keep that in mind.

When the pandemic hit, and there were some supply chain issues showing up, I told my wife one thing - when shopping, and we need one of something - buy two. We now have some time before the shortages really start to hit. To repeat, the difference between hoarding and prepping is one simple thing - preppers stock up when times are good - hoarders buy when items are scarce. Preppers - this may be the time to ensure your stockpile of goods is adequate. 

The Great American Drought. Whenever, wherever - buy American when possible. Stuff coming in from the Westpac, might be very problematic. What is the solution to this trucker shortage? News Flash: The Squad, is a group of nut-balls who hate America and Israel. These four misfits, have Joe Biden wrapped around their crooked fingers. If you think Biden's unexpected radical departure from being and "old style Democrat" is happenstance, you better wake up and smell the crap which is brewing. Not only does the Squad have Biden wrapped around their fingers, but also Pelosi and Schumer. It is a mess.

For years, we have helped Israel with their defense. Lord knows they need it. This coming year, we are giving them a billion dollars to help shore up their Iron Dome defense system. These anti-sematic Squad members, wanted no part of that. Even though in the past, the Democrats in Congress have been sympathetic to the Jewish people in Israel, those days might be long gone. Now the sympathies are with the PLO and Hamas. But...but...the PLO and Hamas are terror groups! The Squad led Democrats don't give a rip. Nada. 

All of a sudden, the billion dollars for Israel has disappeared out of the funding bill. A billion dollars for a system which is based on TOTAL DEFENSE, and nothing to do with anything offensive - is gone. Disappeared right out of the bill. Money our closest ally in the Middle East really needs. All because of these misfits. We should be ashamed, that one of these misfits is a Congresswoman from CD 5 in Minnesota. But we are not. Many of the people who live in CD 5 are also feel the same about Israel. Nut-balls electing nut-balls.

One old school Democrat (Rosa DeLauro), had not yet drunk the Squad kool-aide. She is trying to get this funding put back in the bill. She thinks it is nuts to take this out. What is this? Another skirmish in the Democrat Party? Socialists vs. traditional Democrats. Some of the traditional Democrats also realize an important fact. Most Americans, do not side with the socialists. What does that mean? A landslide victory for the Republicans in 2022. A real house cleaning.

Is there a lesson to be learned from all of this? The power of the few. At the UN, he was UN-faithful to US

"Yesterday, our Manchurian Candidate was on full display. Enjoy the show? I hated it. I was so ashamed once again, that we let this circus clown represent this great country. All because a bunch of sheeple, who hated mean tweets, voted for this guy." 

What is with these America hating Democrats? Is Biden practicing the Obama MAGA? That MAGA being Make America Grovel and Apologize? Slo Joe could not wait to address the UN. The UN, which has become an elite debate society of statists (instead of the world's policeman keeping the peace), was all ears when Biden laid the bad news on them. 

"We have a Code Red", Biden croaked into the microphone. "We have reached the inflection point with our climate". (And these are my words) - Tornados, hurricanes, earthquakes, droughts, headaches, infidelity, the Vikings 0-2 start, are all the fault of global warming. "But this is what we are going to do to help", Biden prattled on. "We will cut our emissions by 50% by the year 2030." (And this is my add) - By doing that, I will further cripple our economy for decades. 

"And by the year 2050, we will cut our emissions by 100% of what they are today." (And this is my add) - Of course, I will be dead and gone for years, but my legacy of killing our economy for good will be written in the history books.

The absolute best part of his speech however, is where he told the UN what else we were going to do to get us past this "inflection point". "I am going to double the amount of money we will give to poorer countries to fight this specter of global warming. Instead of $50B, we will give them $100B." (And this is my add) - We will borrow that money from China. Even though China is the biggest polluter in the world, and pollutes more than the rest of the countries combined, I will not mention them. Why? They own me. They own my son. So, China will continue to pollute, and we will go deeper in debt.

The man with the reverse Midas touch, did not call our the world's baddies like former Presidents did. Nope. In the eyes of Slo Joe, the only baddie in the world is the country which hired him to be our President. No taking a bow for Operation Warp Speed. Nope. That would have meant that he would have to give credit to the most hated Donald Trump. He did however, take a bow for ending the Afghan war. And pissing off all our allies by doing it the manner in which he did.

What does America first really mean?

"Even if we get another Trump like President in 2024, Ms. Nancy and the socialists will never agree with the program. They are millstones around the neck of those who advocate growth and change."

MAGA. American Exceptionalism. Put America first. To the left, these expressions are nothing but nationalism. To conservatives, they make sense. Does that mean that America "goes it alone" on everything? Not a bit. America is the world leader, the strongest superpower. But even with that America is still part of the team. And this team consists of over 7 billion people, who all need goods and services we could provide.

As most of us know, the American cities of today look nothing like the American cities of the 1950's. That decade was the heyday of the American dream. World War II was over, and soldiers once again became office workers, laborers, and service providers. Cities like Detroit and Chicago, were great places to live and work. Our cities thrived, and they were the envy of the world. Then came the 1960's. And with the 1960's, came 1968. That is when the wheels started to fall off.

That brings us to today. Fast forward from 1968 to 2021. Most of our large cities are poverty traps. Hollowed out, crime infested ghettos. Widespread industry, like we had in Detroit in the 1950's, is all but gone. We have ceded much of our manufacturing to cheaper labor overseas. Our trade deficit is astoundingly high. The last time we had a trade surplus (albeit a tiny one), was 1975. We have been in the red ever since. How red? In 2020, our trade deficit was $677.7 billion. In that number, are many jobs which could have been done by Americans.

Donald Trump had a vision on how to restore America to the greatness it once had. For reasons which are foreign to me, many on the left hated that vision. "White Nationalism", they called it. Nothing could be further from the truth. This country at its core, still has the right stuff. We can recapture our greatness. Part of that greatness would be to bring some of our manufacturing back to this country. Make things better. Also, make our business climate so attractive, that companies from other countries would want to move operations to our shores. 

Take a look around right now. How is that vision of America looking? I won't go into all the crisis points which have been created in the past 8 months. I will however, note how changing our tax structure will blunt the projected growth Donald Trump envisioned. Like, the $3.5T giveaway bill, could drag us down from greatness, into a recession or depression.

Will we ever want to make America great again? Not unless we have that common vision. What we saw in the term of 2016 to 2020, we know what that answer was. Even if we get another "Trump like" President in 2024, Ms. Nancy and the socialists will never agree with the program. They are millstones around the neck of those who advocate growth and change. Why is that? That is the question which vexes many of the citizens and patriots today.   

Haitians? How? Why?

"The news this morning was the same as always. Violent shootings in Chicago. Increased violence in Minneapolis. Humanitarian crisis on the southern border. Inflation. High energy costs. High food costs. Elections have consequences."

Just when you think things could not get any worse, Del Rio, Texas has a new invasion. Come on man! Invasion? By whom? The constant stream of illegals coming up from the Triangle Countries? Mexicans? Who? Haitians. Some estimate up to 15,000 of them. Wait - it can't be. There is no land bridge from Haiti to North America. How in the world did they get here? I mean, most Haitians are stone cold broke.

And why Del Rio? Simple answer - they got the invite. Just as the people in the Triangle Countries did. Remember the t-shirts? "Biden, let us in!" The chance to wreck America went out far and wide. And how did people in countries who had no money to get here? How in the world did that happen? Who funded the Haitians to get from Haiti to Mexico? Did they get the Biden t-shirts also? Who are the people behind the curtain? Gosh, it would be great to have a normal press right about now.

The American Thinker had an interesting observation on September 19th. How all of a sudden we could have a literally a tidal wave of people, all crossing over the Rio Grande at the same time. How does that happen? Uncle Joe might have struck again. Seems he had promised the President of Mexico something, and then did not deliver. Mexico had been holding thousands of Haitian refugees in southern Mexican states to keep them away from our border. The President of Mexico was so upset that Biden had stiffed him, he waited until the Mexican Independence celebration, and then unleashed them all. Sent them north - directly to the border by Del Rio. Take that, Uncle Joe! 

I guess that Mexico is joining France and some of our other NATO allies in wishing Donald Trump was back in office. Nope. Sorry. Everyone needs to suffer the same way. We elected a boob, just because we did not like "mean tweets" coming from Trump. Because of that, we have the biggest humanitarian crisis in Texas history right now. And ZERO help from that little bald headed Cuban who heads up DHS. 

Little Red Lying Hood was asked again what the logic was with letting in thousands of refugees who tested positive for Covid, and at the same time, cracking down on companies who employee over 100 people. She blew the questions off. No answer. "Next" she immediately said to the next press agent. We have disease, gangs. trafficking, drugs, and thousands of illegals in Texas right now. Why? Because Biden's black heart hates Donald Trump more than he loves this country. Fact.

Happy Monday everybody. The news this morning was the same as always. Violent shootings in Chicago. Increased violence in Minneapolis. Humanitarian crisis on the southern border. Inflation. High energy costs. High food costs. Elections have consequences. And our consequence with having Biden as President is a whopper.

Some bells are hard to un-ring. Right Joe? As the cigarette commercial once would say, "you have come a long way baby." Long way that is, from the G7 conference early in Biden's accidental Presidency. Oh, Joe. You were treated so well by the Euro socialists. America was now a member of the club. We were going to be another socialist member. That recalcitrant Donald Trump. He had been dispatched with, and now Slo Joe was here - and everyone knew that Biden could be rolled - easily.

Of all the leaders, I thought Macron was the most demonstrative. In some of the pictures, I thought Macron was going to kiss Biden on the lips. Gentlemen, please! In any event, everyone, especially Biden and Macron, were pals forever. Or, were they?

NATO is now stretched to its breaking point, in how the United States mucked up the Afghanistan exit. The NATO motto of "one for all, and all for one", was quickly replaced with "every man for himself." What? Wait - that is no way to treat our friends. We know better than that! Well, we knew better. Until this clown car took over our government. 

So, just as France managed to get its people out of Afghanistan (with little help from us), the other shoe fell. And this one was a big shoe. In fact, this boner might live on for decades. It showed how little the United States can now be trusted. In all the deals I have negotiated, I have never seen such an underhanded thing happen. It was tantamount to a married couple, married for over 50 years, to have one of the spouses have infidelity issues. In this case, it was the United States who had the infidelity issue. And Australia willingly acted as the "other woman".

Trust is a very hard thing to regain, once it is lost. With France, we will have a very hard time ever convincing them to "watch our sixes" again, in a situation like Afghanistan. We were the ones who were attacked - not France. The thanks we gave them for helping us, was dumping them right at the end. Pulled our air power to protect their exit. And then to seal this deceit with a kiss, we submarined their submarine deal with Australia. I mean, with friends like Biden, who needs enemies. 

Well played Joe. We can once again be called "Ugly Americans". Because you have never worked for a living, you missed out on a valuable lesson. One "aw, crap" wipes out a whole lot of "atta-boys". Joe, you had two "aw, craps", back to back. I don't think there are enough "atta-boys" in the world to fix this mess. 

Dam Yankees!

One of our longest and staunchest allies, has been France. Even though they seldom have much to offer, they have always had our back. And we have had theirs. Like, pulling their fat out of the fire in both world wars. But so what. Our last two Presidents have really gotten under their skin. And with the 2020 election, France thought they were once again getting the adult in the room. Wrong!

So, what was the problem with President Trump? First off, Donald Trump is a businessman, and not a politician. His bug-a-boo for quite a while now, has been NATO. Not that he wanted to see NATO disbanded, he just wanted all members to pay what they had agreed to. GASP! WHAT? Pay what you owe? 

And what was all this horse pucky about American Exceptionalism that Trump kept talking about? The French did not like that, as they have been around a lot longer than the US of A has been around. In fact, if not for the help of the French prior to and during the Revolutionary War, there might have never been a US of A! Of course, Donald Trump told the French they were exceptional also. And the "America First" thing Trump always talked about. That could have been, and should have (also) been, "France First", or England First". Trump said, one should always put their homeland first.

Then comes Biden. The "adult in the room". How bad has Uncle Joe messed up our relationship with one of our oldest and most loyal allies? For the first time ever, France has pulled their ambassador. No, that is not a typo. They recalled their ambassador. What could we have done so bad to them, to cause this to happen? Buckle up.

France has (had) a multi-year, multi-billion dollar deal to supply nuclear technology to Australia for their submarine program. For reasons which are not yet clear to me, the United States has talked Australia into abrogating of the existing French contract, and then signing a new contract with the US.

To say the least, the "ship hit the sand" when France got wind of this. The United States, a trusted friend and NATO partner of France, just stabbed the French in the back. And to make matters worse, "Joe Biden's America" did not have the courtesy to tell the French what we were doing. Nor make them a part of the team. 

With that, France has had it. First the mess in Afghanistan, and now this double cross with the Aussie deal. This was enough to make the French wish Donald Trump was still POTUS. How upset is Macron? Like I said earlier, he pulled their ambassador.

When the world is a mess, the last thing we need is someone like Slo Joe coming in and mucking up the gearbox. One well known pundit last night said that Biden is an idiot. Always has been. Totally unfit to lead. Then why in the world did we make him the leader of the free world? Biden voters - care to weigh in? 

 

 

We the People

"We the people are a freedom loving bunch. So much so, that tyranny is scorned. Not only in our country, but wherever in this big beautiful world, people yearn to be free."

We the people. What a beautiful sound that short sentence is. It takes up only three words, and yet says so much. So much about what this country stood for at its founding. Those words are instrumental in our Constitution. In fact, as most of is already know, those three words are VERY large in the beginning of our Constitution. Those words are so important, so vital to some of us, they have them tattooed on their bodies. For most of the rest of us, they are tattooed on our very being.

We the people are a freedom loving bunch. So much so, tyranny is scorned. Scorned not only in our country, but wherever in this big beautiful world, tyranny rules people. People who yearn to be free.

Thomas Jefferson was not shy in disclosing his opinion of tyranny. One of my favorite quotes of Jefferson is as follows - "When tyranny becomes law, rebellion becomes duty." Wow! That is one powerful sentence! And should be timeless. It should be a reminder to all of us, especially, whomever is serving as our President (like, the current one).

233 years ago, on this date in 1787, our Constitution was signed. The founders constructed this document to stand the test of time. Be timeless. Or is it? Some college airheads were recently asked about our Constitution in a "man on the street" setting. They were asked what they thought of our Constitution, and what it stood for. The answers they gave were a shining light on what a bunch of horse dung, our current education system is today. "We need to get rid of it." Or, "It is so outdated, it does not make any sense today." Or my favorite, "It was written by a bunch of old white guys. We need a new one, written by a more diverse group." Yes folks - that is your tax dollars at work. We are not educating future patriots - we are indoctrinating our youth to become future socialists.

Many Democrats, including a recently deceased SCOTUS member, have decried our Constitution as being inadequate. The new "Squad" of socialists, led by AOC, would like it scrapped and replaced with an equity document. They would love to see a document, which is all rainbows and lolly-pops. Where everyone gets a guaranteed income, and instead of working, everyone can sit by a pond and write poetry. What is wrong with that picture? Nothing - if you are one of the mixed up millennials coming out of our government school system.

We the people. Not "me the people", Slo Joe. One of the houses close by, has a large flag pole in the front yard. Everyday, that big beautiful flag is raised, and flies proudly in the breeze. That is until recently. Starting early this summer, the home owner still raises the flag every day. Only now it is upside down. The international distress signal. 

If you love our Constitution, enjoy it now. With the next generation to follow, it might now survive. And if our Constitution does not survive, neither will the republic. Just saying...   

Slo Joe's Slow Growth

"Biden has NEVER worked a day in his life. Fact. He has no clue on how an economy works. Because of that, we are going to suffer big time under this neophyte."

Slo Joe is on the radio, having a presser, trying to convince the minions his $3.5T "spend and tax" bill will be good for all. When ready to be voted on (if it gets that far), this bill will be 10,000 pages thick. 10,000 pages! You can hide a lot of crap in a bill that size! And Biden has. Well, not really him. His handlers who prepared this monster. What kind of things can be hidden? How about amnesty for 10,000 to 15,000 illegal aliens?

Slo Joe is also telling us we need to act - NOW! Why? Climate change for a starter. All those thunderstorms, droughts, hurricanes, fires, you name it - are our fault. WE are wrecking the climate. Not the Chinese. Even though science (yes Joe, science), tells us China puts more climate killing crap in the air than the rest of the world put together. But Joe can't talk to China. His puppet masters might not like that.

Also, the top earners in this country pay 40% income tax (all taxes combined). Slo Joe said at his presser the top earners don't pay a cent. Well, certainly not their "fair share". Also, Biden said corporations pay little or no taxes. What? Joe "Six Pack" seems to be a stranger with the truth (again).

Biden is a one man wrecking crew. First he really hosed up the southern border. Then he ordered a retreat and surrender of our brave troops in Afghanistan. Now he wants to submarine our once robust economy. Oh yes, and energy. He took us from energy independence, to once again slobbering and begging at the feet of OPEC.

Here is the bottom line. If anything even close to this bill gets passed into law, we are screwed. Our quality of life will be nothing but a memory. Biden wants to punish our pharma companies. Price controls. Get ready to get all of our meds from China. And Operation Warp Speed that pharma helped us all on? Never again. BUT - I have said that many times before. Biden has NEVER worked a day in his life. Fact. He has no clue on how an economy works. Because of that, we are going to suffer big time under this neophyte.

Silly Milley?

"What do I think of Milley? If Woodward's book is total fantasy, I still think Milley needs to go. He is in way, way over his head. Don't think so? Just set your gaze on Afghanistan. Milley owns that. Maybe not all of it, but a good part of it." 

Guess what variant of TDS is now emerging? And Bod Woodward (long time GOP hater) and Robert Costa have it bad - real bad. This new variant is called "Peril". And it is contained within a book they wrote. Want to read about it? CNN is already talking about it. That it is immutable truth. I guess the book portrays Trump as out of control towards the end. He was wildly stalking around the White House during the days before the transition. Kind of like Woodward portrayed Nixon, when Watergate was crashing down. 

"Most dangerous time in American history", it is reported the book discloses. Kind of like when January 6th, 2021 was more dangerous to our country than 9/11 was. The left has always been good with histrionics, but this time, they really jumped the shark. According to Woodward and company, Trump the madman, was about ready to nuke the world, just to show everyone how tough he was.

Give me a flipping break. With Woodward's TDS meter being pinned in the red, none of us normal folk believe a word of what he printed. (Yawn...) However - the most interesting thing that Woodward reported was the most shocking. And if it is true, it could be earthshaking. General Milley, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, might have committed treason. Big time treason. Like, colluded with the enemy treason. 

This might be a bit of hearsay, so you will have to excuse me. It seems towards the end of his watch, Donald Trump was so "unstable", Milley thought he was going to nuke the Chinese. Huh? So Milley, to show what a good soldier he was, decided to call his counterpart in the CCP and drop a dime on his boss - the Commander-in-Chief. He told the Chicoms he would keep them in the loop if Trump's finger got close to "the button". Milley was going to be - in charge. Kind of like Alexander Haig said after Reagan was charge - "I am in charge!" What is with these generals?

If this is true about Milley, as they say in the Navy, "he can bend over and kiss his butt good-bye". I would have rather they fired Milley for the debacle in leaving Afghanistan (and giving the enemy Bagram Air Base and billions of dollars worth of arms), but treason will do. Trouble is, those who have seen Woodward's stick, know he is a fabricator. Woodward's line between fiction and truth has long since become very blurry. 

After seeing the socialists impeach Trump twice (over nothing), and the constant barrage of crap which was thrown in his face for four years, nobody, and I mean nobody with a red, white and blue heart - believes a word of Woodward's latest dribble. It is garbage. More TDS upon TDS. Guess what Woodward, you hack? Trump is no longer President. He is a private citizen. Find a new boogie-man.

We need a national reclama...

"Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he that keepeth the law (God's law), happy is he."

Okay. Reclama is a military term. It means a request to change an action or a decision. Like, a reclama would be merited, if someone thought our ship of state was wildly off course. Or doing the wrong thing(s). The wrong things which are not Godly. Hello? Sound familiar? EVERYTHING in our country is off kilter right now. Nothing is going as it should be. Plus - we have no national vision. And as the Bible says in Proverbs 29:18, 

"Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he that keepeth the law (God's law), happy is he."  

Who among us, can help? Who among us, can convince those who are following this false leader, that the direction we are headed right now, will be catastrophic. Not might be catastrophic, WILL be catastrophic.

In less than a year, we have contaminated our country with drugs (some very fatal), gangs, crime, sex trafficking, maybe terrorists, and over a million of illegal immigrants. All coming over the southern border. Fixing that contamination might be unfixable. Or if it can be fixed, with new leadership, it would take a Herculean effort.

Our government has created a real mess in Afghanistan. Excuse my language, but a hell of a mess. A world changing mess. We have not only allowed one of the most remote locations on Earth to become a terrorist state, we (for reasons which escape most of us), gave the terrorists billions of dollars worth of arms and equipment. We gave the terrorists a world class military air base. Our billion plus dollar embassy. Why did we do all of this? Wrong direction. Wrong actions. A reclama is sorely needed. 

The price of food is starting to skyrocket. Energy is going up, due to the destruction of our former energy program(s). We keep paying people for not working. Paying them so much, that many establishments cannot find enough employees. Some are closing early, due to staffing. Container ships are stacked up like cordwood off the coast of California, due to "Covid issues" and staffing shortages. Our economy, which was working so well last year, is about to really come off the rails. Again - a reclama is sorely needed.

Folks, I don't have any answers to what we can do. We can go back to that verse from Proverbs, and take its sage advice -  "...but he that keepeth the law (God's law), happy is he." Our nation has turned its back on God, many times and in many places. Even some of the churches have strayed. We need our vision back. We need a major reclama. Now more than ever, we need God. We so much need God. And - we need to return to Godly living. 

 

9/12 - The day after yesterday...

"I remember 9/11. I will never forget. I also remember 9/12. Of that date, I am trying not to forget. But it gets harder every year. And the fraying of our national fabric is causing my memory to blur."

Many years ago, Glenn Beck started something called the 9/12 Project. It was shortly after the 9/11 terror attack. Why 9/12 instead of 9/11? He wanted to celebrate our country coming together. Coming together like it had not done for years. Maybe not since the Gulf War victory. 

After the very contentious 2000 presidential election, the country was on its way to becoming fractured. Remember? Bush was "selected", not "elected"?. It was a rough time. Then 9/11 happened, shortly after Bush became President. The bad guys might have thought we were ripe for the kill shot. They were wrong. 

I was working for Big Blue at the time. One of my clients was American Express. Usually, I would spend three days out of five at the account. When the terror attack happened, we were told to shelter in place in our home offices. Once we were given the green light to return to our accounts, one of the managers for American Express thought it would be a good idea for all vets to put pictures of themselves, in uniform, on the outside of their cubicals. And we did. There were dozens of cubicals, adorned with pictures of vets. Others had flags on their cubicals. Some had pictures of the planes hitting the towers. But most importantly, we were ALL united. Providers and clients alike, we were all united. 

What happened to the spirit of 9/12? How could it have vanished so quickly? All of a sudden, many started thinking about the stolen election of 2000 again, instead of how to bring Al Qaeda to justice. The fracturing of our national fabric, which started in 2000, started to reappear. Not only reappear, but it started to get much worse. The "we" on 9/12, became "us" and "them". 

One of our enemies is rumored to have said that "American's have short memories, and an even shorter attention span". We are already on to the next news cycle. The feeling of solidarity and unity we had on 9/12? Ya, ya, ya. That was so very yesterday. That is the impression some get of us. We have moved on. Now we are focused on climate change being the bad guy instead of the Taliban. And the illusive white supremists? We have been told by our accidental POTUS, that white supremists are the real terrorist today. You know, those old white guys who voted for Trump. The ones who caused January 6th - which for some on the left, is worse than 9/11.

I remember 9/11. I will never forget. I also remember 9/12. Of that date, I am trying not to forget. But it gets harder every year. And the fraying of our national fabric is causing my memory to blur. That being said, what is my my biggest fear? United we stand, divided we fall, might become reality. We won't need another terror attack to destroy us. We can do that, all by ourselves.  

 

"Just do good"

 

"As we continue to do good for our innocent and wounded, bad guys are still out there. Bad guys who want to kill our people, as well as our way of life. We can not, and will not, let that happen. Never, ever again. We will always remember. We will never forget."    

Glenn Beck reported this past week, that 9/11 is a national holiday. It is? I didn't know that. It is a national holiday not in the United States (as it should be), it is a national holiday for the Taliban. Seeing our twin towers fall, was a mark of victory for them. Then twenty years later, seeing us retreat and surrender was another mark of victory. But I am not going there this morning. That ground has already been plowed. I want to remember in all the horror of that terrible day, some unexpected national good was found. And that started on 9/12.

A short time after the towers fell, President Bush went to the site in New York and spoke not only the first responders who were digging through the rubble, he also spoke to a shaken nation. Bush grabbed a bullhorn and said to the responders, "I can hear you. Soon the people who brought down these towers will hear from all of us".

A while later, when he addressed the nation from the Oval Office, Bush again made this vow. "We will bring those who are guilty to justice. It will at on our time, and in a place of our choosing." Thus started our twenty year war in Afghanistan.

This morning, Frank Stiller from Tunnel to Towers, finished his 500 mile walk. His journey went from Shanksville, to Washington DC, and finished in New York City at ground zero. Frank lost his brother that horrible day. A member of the FDNY, his brother was on his way to work, when the first plane hit. He pulled his car over, grabbed his gear, and ran through the tunnel towards the struck tower. Thus the name, Tunnel to Towers was born. Frank's brother was one of over 300 fire fighters who perished that day. Everyone of them, dying in the attempt to save others. 

The motto of Tunnel to Towers is "just do good". We can't go back and undo the horror which happened that day. Oh, if only we could. But what we can do, is cast our vision forward. Be good, and do good. Tunnel to Towers can't replace a loved one who dies in the service of his or her country or community. Tunnel to Towers can't replace lost arms or legs, lost in battle. But what Tunnel to Towers can do, is provide a mortgage free house to the family of a fallen and/or wounded veteran. Not only free, but if special modifications are needed to accommodate an injured veteran, that is also taken care of by Tunnel to Towers. 

Some of wondering, if now that we have ceded Afghanistan, will Al-Qaeda (with the help of the Taliban), hit us again. Even the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs thinks this is a very possible scenario. Well, here is a message from only one of the millions of patriots who live in this great country. It may appear right now that we are weak and feckless. That is only our current leadership. The backbone of this country is just as strong as it has always been. Maybe even stronger.

"Just do good." Yes Frank Stiller, this country is now, and has been in the past, very capable of doing good. Even though we can do good,  we can also seek out, and implement justice. In my opinion, part of doing good, is making sure those who choose to do bad things to this great country, are taken care of. In other words, eliminated. Not scolded, not jailed, but eliminated. This country knows how to protect the innocent, and how to punish the guilty.

Will we ever forget 9/11? I hope not. We need to remember the lesson of complacency and naivety. We need to be vigilant. Alert times four.

As we continue to do good for our innocent and wounded, bad guys are still out there. Bad guys who want to kill our people, as well as our way of life. We can not, and will not, let that happen. Never, ever again. We will always remember. We will never forget.    

The war on us

"The war on terror, the war on Covid, the war on anything bad - has been replaced with Biden's war on us. Wait - what have we done wrong? Nothing. Except being a serf in Biden's kingdom." 

Someone had a very good observation yesterday. Why can't this feckless, senile, old man, talk to our enemies with the same animus, he uses to talk to or about the citizens of this country. Especially the non-union people. Or the successful people. Or the former President of the United States. There is something seriously wrong with this guy. And I am not just talking about his shrinking ability to think and talk clearly. What is wrong with Joe Biden, might even be treasonous.

For reasons which escape many of us, Joseph Biden has declared war on the citizens of the country. The country he was elected to protect. Don't think so? How is he making us safer? One example please. What he has done in how he had us leave Afghanistan, is tantamount to high crimes and misdemeanors. What he has been doing on the southern border, is worse. Only a madman, or a state criminal, could have done such a thing. 

After Biden's unconstitutional proclamation on Covid vaccinations yesterday, one Republican governor summed it up this way - "That was the way I would expect the President of China to talk - not the President of the United States." BINGO! Biden is worse than a Manchurian Candidate. At least the Manchurian Candidate tried to hide his deception. Biden just flaunts his. Hoping against hope, the minions who voted for him will just "come along, get along". In other words, put them into a trance while he lays waste to our great Republic.

It is rare I call another person "evil". Most folks have good in them which offsets most other negative traits. Biden, I put right up there with Saddam Hussain, Kim Jong Un, Stalin and Pol Pot. If he does have good within himself, he hides it well. Even if he is not totally evil, what he is doing to our country is.

One doctor was on the news the other day (before Joe's announcement), and was asked about the power of antibodies for those who have had Covid, and recovered. His response - the power of the antibodies are just as good, maybe better, than the current vaccines. I noticed that Joe said nothing about employees who had the antibodies. He wants them to get the shots anyhow. Does that make any sense to anyone? Is not the objective to keep people healthy, no matter how they do it? I have said this many times before, this is a free country. How people decide to keep themselves safe is up to them. Not my business. I expect our government to have the same courtesy towards its citizens. 

The war on terror, the war on Covid, the war on anything bad - has been replaced with Biden's war on us. Wait - what have we done wrong? Nothing. Except being a serf in Biden's kingdom. Until we get a real President again, that is all we are. Serfs - in the mind of Biden.

If you are not yet engaged for 2022, it is time to do so. Patriots and citizens are not serfs. We need leadership who share that view.  

 

Our next war...

"Bottom line is this. We need a housecleaning with our leadership before we engage with any country over anything. The leadership vacuum in DOD and State is both wide and scary." 

One of the purposes of the DOD, is to prepare for the next war. War planning, war gaming, and so forth. The possible enemies we prepare for keep changing over time. For example, we don't need to anticipate war with England or Canada like we did 200 years ago. We don't need to prepare for Germany and Japan like we did 80 years ago. Today, it is Iran, China, Russia and now maybe Pakistan. But after what happened in Afghanistan, I don't know if we could win a war with Liechtenstein. 

So what is the problem with our military? The fighting men and women? Not a bit. Top shelf all the way. Our war fighting equipment? Nope. Again top shelf. What is it then? In World War II, we did not want to be involved. Happy to be on the sidelines, supporting the Allies via Lend-Lease Program. We were a bit worried about Japan, but never in a million years did we think they would or could attack our ships at Pearl. 

After the December 7, 1941 surprise attack, the United States did not have many ships left. It was only by the grace of God we did not have our carriers in port when the attack happened.  All of a sudden, when the fires at Pearl were still burning, our President declares war on Japan. What did we have to fight the Japanese? Leadership. We had iron clad leaders of men. Visionaries. War fighters extraordinaire. New ships, planes and other military hardware would come. But it was the extraordinary leadership which helped us stay in to, and eventually win the war.

Today, our military leadership, all the way up to the Commander-in-Chief, really sucks. Our war planning, has been replaced with looking for white supremists within the ranks, having a "stand down" to teach the troops about CRT, and how to fight the biggest villain of all - climate change. Huh? What kind of war planning is that? It is not. And that is the problem.

Looking back on all our wars since WW II, here is my take (as well as many historians) on how we did, our should have done:

• Korea - The United States was very war weary after WW II. That was the biggest problem. We fought the Norks and the Chicoms to a draw. Under different circumstances, could we have won? Absolutely.
• Viet Nam - Enough said. The politicians lost the war - not our war fighters. 
• Gulf War -  Good leadership, good generals, great equipment. We beat the forth largest army in the world in almost record time. The "Mother of all Battles" turned into the "Mother of all Defeats" for Saddam.
• Afghanistan - Twenty years of confused leadership, topped off by Biden's surrender to the Taliban. Could we, should we have won over this band of 12th century reprobates? In a heartbeat. 

Bottom line is this. We need a housecleaning with our leadership before we engage with any country over anything. The leadership vacuum in DOD and State is both wide and scary. 

Our sixth generation fighters are going from the drawing board to prototypes. Our newest Ford Class carrier has started construction. Lasers are entering the battlefield. All that is good, real good. But without sound leadership guiding our troops, it is all for naught.

Real leadership, the likes of Nimitz, Spruance, Patton, Bradley and Eisenhower win wars. Austin, Blinken and Millie? Not even close. They need to be shown the door.  

   

Do we need to go back in?

"I know many are sick of this mess. I am sick of this mess. But the mess will come for us. We did not think they could hit us in 2001. But they did. And they very well could again."   

Yes, it was a long time. Twenty years for most Americans, is a very long time. But the Islamists have told us many times that "we may have the clocks, but they have the time". To them, twenty years was just a blip. And the money? It cost us trillions of dollars over 20 years. Then the human toll. Lots of dead and wounded heroes. Was it worth it? To show a people who had never tasted freedom and liberty, what is was like to live that way. To allow women to have the same value as a man. To reduce the temptation for an old man to take 12 year old girl as a child bride.  

If it was worth it, is up for debate. How we exited last month is not. It was a mess, and still is. The enemy we fought for twenty years, now has control over the country of Afghanistan. They are working hard and fast, to undo all the good things we tried to teach the citizens of Afghanistan. It gets worse. Sirajuddin Hawwani, from the old Al Qaeda group, is now part of the Taliban. He is part of the leadership group. He is a stone cold killer. A hard core terrorist. We want him so bad, there is still a $5,000,000 bounty on his head. 

Plus, the empty promises by the Taliban. Like, anyone who wants to leave, be allowed to leave. That was all BS. We have maybe thousands of Americans and friendlies, who can't get out of Afghanistan. Between our State Department, and the Taliban those who were left behind are truly lost.

Finally, the frosting on the cake came from General Millie. His assessment, is we have somewhere between 12 and 36 months before Al Qaeda reconstitutes enough to be a threat to the west, once again.

Currently, who is there to help the Taliban? China. Russia. Pakistan. Iran. Birds of a feather. Who is there to help the citizens of Afghanistan? The UN? Should be the UN, but we all know what has happened to that feckless group of statists. Climate change and equity. No more peace keeping. The US? The former policeman of the world? Not under Joe Biden. The message we have for the innocent civilians of Afghanistan is simply this - help is not coming. 

If we really believe that the Taliban and Al Qaeda pose a clear and present danger to the United States, do we need to go back in country and take care of business? Or should we wait until the next "punch" hits us. Do we have the stomach to extend this 20 year war into something more? Do we have the military muscle and logistics to retake Bagram Air Base? And hold it? Tough questions for sure.

I know many are sick of this mess. I am sick of this mess. But the mess will come for us. We did not think they could hit us in 2001. But they did. And they very well could again. Especially with the wide open southern border Biden has given us. Anyone who does not think we could be in deep do-do, better wake up and smell the coffee.
