The good, the bad, the very ugly

"Maybe we needed this to truly wake up. The tyranny has been building with a drip, drip, drip. Now the bloom is off the rose. We see things for what they really are. Time to fight fire with fire. Time to take back our country. Time to throw traitors in prison. Time to win EVERYTHING in 2024."

Well, it happened. Pandor's Box has been opened. The investment that George Soros made in Manhattan might have paid off. Or so it seems. Alvin Bragg, the doppelganger for the Pillsbury Dough Boy, has somehow managed to bootstrap a possible misdemeanor into a felony. Over a charge which was out of his purview. A charge which was outside the statute of limitations. Donald Trump, the first President ever, has been indicted.

The weaponization of the DOJ is now complete. It was bad enough that Matt Taibbi had the IRS knock at his door, the day he was testifying in front of Congress about Hunter's laptop. That was unprecedented. But then just a short time later, the indictment of Donald Trump. Where is Merrick Garland when all this crap is happening? Hiding.

I called this article the good, the bad, and the very ugly. The very ugly is right there in front of us, for all to see. It is the tort of our judicial system, by the tools George Soros bought and paid for. That is about as ugly as it gets. The bad is this - with the world on fire right now, and Putin giving us almost daily threats of annihilation (yes, there was another one today), we have the destruction of our republic to deal with. But the good? Where is the good?

The socialists and country wreckers on the left, have just done something which the Republican Party struggles with. They have lionized a candidate for Presidency. Donald Trump, who was already leading in the polls, just got a giant jump start. I know, I know. Many on the left will say that Trump is a flawed man, and got what he deserved. Maybe. But Donald Trump is now a symbol. A symbol of what an out of control government can do.

When Donald Trump won the 2016 election, he went to Washington with a mandate. Drain the swamp. And he did a good job on starting that venture. However, to everyone's surprise, the swamp was deeper and wider than expected. It had infected the FBI, the DOJ, the IRS and 100% of the DNC. It was everywhere, including in parts of the establishment RNC. The net result? In the 2020 election, Trump lost. Fairly? Not with the swamp pulling the levers.

But in 2024, most of us have learned our lesson. To take back America, we need to get Donald Trump back in the White House. We will not accept another "rigged" election. We will not accept interference by existing government agencies. We need Trump to finish what he started in 2016. To fully drain this swamp.

Maybe we needed this to truly wake up. The tyranny has been building with a drip, drip, drip. Now the bloom is off the rose. We see things for what they really are. Time to fight fire with fire. Time to take back our country. Time to throw traitors in prison. Time to win EVERYTHING in 2024.

The need for speed

"Some experts think that the SR-72 will be the start of a new era in avionics. Hypersonic drones. It will change warfare for sure. And travel? Will it change could long it will take to get to Asia? To Europe? Maybe."

For years, the SR-71 was the "King of the Hill". It was the fastest airbreather on the planet. How much so? It could fly over Russia, China, North Korea, or whomever - and they could not do spit about it. Why? The SR-71 could fly at Mach 3, at an altitude which was almost suborbital, and take high rez photos to its heart's content. But that was then, and it is now. Today, many countries either have, or on the verge of having, hypersonic missiles which would take this spy plane down.

Currently, we have the "son of" the SR-71 being developed. And it is close to being ready. It is the long awaited SR-72, and it will be like the SR-71 - only better. How so? First off, it will be unmanned. A total drone. And - it will be quicker. Whereas the SR-71 could go Mach 3, the SR-72 is rumored to be capable of Mach 5. Truly hypersonic.

One might ask, why do we need something like this? Don't we have excellent satellites? We do. Years ago, I was asked to be the backup to one of my co-workers who had clearance for the Keyhole Program. Keyhole was the code name for our spy satellites. This was in the 1980's. I was amazed at what these satellites were capable of back then. I can only imagine what they are capable of now.

But if you need eyes on a rapidly developing issue, anywhere on the planet, nothing beats a good old fashioned airplane. Especially one which can go Mach 5. And the need will be filled in 2025, unless some problem pops up. Or Vladimir decides to nuke us before 2025.

Some experts think that the SR-72 will be the start of a new era in avionics. Hypersonic drones. It will change warfare for sure. And travel? Will it change could long it will take to get to Asia? To Europe? Maybe. In any event, the times they are a changing. Why? Because as usual, mankind has the need to speed. And the SR-72 is the thing which can scratch that itch.

Threats from the bully

"What about the UN? Can't they get this bully under control? Don't make me laugh. This organization, formed to prevent bullies like Putin from doing harm, has turned into a bunch of globalists."

I have told this story before. When I was growing up, and while in elementary school, we had a neighborhood bully who would harass me. Picking on me was his favorite pastime. Just about every day, he told me he would "bash my teeth in.". I would tell my folks, and (bless them for this), they would tell me I needed to learn to fight my own battles. But this kid was bigger than me. I did not want to get "my teeth bashed in."

One day in a pick up game of softball, this bully did not like something I did. He came over and started to push me around. All of a sudden, the light went on. I had it with this guy. I got him on the ground and started to wail on him. His mother saw me and came running to pull me off her kid. That was the last time I was bullied by anyone. And to this day, I can't stand bullies.

I guess that is one of the reason I bristle when Vladimir Putin threatens us or NATO on almost a daily basis. Last week, one of his henchmen told the Netherlands, Russia might nuke the World Court. Why? They called Putin a war criminal, and want to try him. They have threatened to nuke Germany, the UK, Poland, and us, numerous times.

The latest threat from the bully from Moscow, is by the end of the year he will position his "killer subs" all throughout the Pacific. These are the subs which have the nuclear torpedoes, which can cause huge "city killing" tsunamis. Oh, and he will use those after he unleashes his "Satan II" ICBMs on many of our cities. What is our response to this bully? Nothing. We just sit back and take it. Oh, to have Donald Trump or Ronald Reagan in the White House right now. They knew how to stand down a bully.

Here is the long and the short of it. It has been reported that through the back channels, we told Russia that should they use a tactical nuke in the Ukraine War, we would sink their Black Sea fleet and destroy the rest of their army. And should Russia use a heavy nuke against one of our major cities, here is what will happen. All hell will break loose. We have so many nukes on so many platforms, we would destroy Russia. But they also have thousands of nukes, and would probably destroy NATO and the United States in return. Then nuclear winter would start, and it would kill any remaining survivors.

There is no middle ground here. We either stand down from nukes (and the threats to use them), or we get into a nuclear exchange and kill everyone and everything. Those are the stakes that Putin is playing with right now. Putin may think should he unleash a nuke on us, timid Biden would send him a nasty letter warning him of carbon offsets for exploding a nuke. But that would not be the case. Our military would execute World War III, and it would over in a day.

What about the UN? Can't they get this bully under control? Don't make me laugh. This organization, formed to prevent bullies like Putin from doing harm, has turned into a bunch of globalists. The UN could not punch its way out of a paper bag right now, much less getting Russia in line.

Our only hope is if the Russian people wake up, and take care of this issue. Retire Putin, one way or the other. Pull its troops out of Ukraine, and let the rebuilding start. Until that happens, the daily threats will continue. They will continue until someone does something very stupid, and the wire is tripped. Then it will be over. For good.

Next decade's awesome Air Force

"If we can make it to 2030 without going to war with Russia over Ukraine, or China over Taiwan, we can build hundreds of these spiffy new planes. My fear is extensive and expensive wars this decade, will keep our future in the next decade looking murky. Very murky indeed."

This decade, we will transition from fifth generation aircraft (F-22's and F-35's), into the almost otherworldly sixth generation planes. Before you hang up the phone, stay with me on this one. It is fascinating. And - unbelievable. The next generation will take us from science fiction to science. So, buckle up!

The new sixth generation fighter jet has been dubbed the Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) fighter. And it will be able to do everything which you could imagine, and then some. It will have stealth (almost to the point of being invisible), next generation stand off missiles, lasers, ultra fast speed, AI, and survivability. But that is not all.

Each NGAD will be accompanied by one or more drones, called Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA). How many CCA units are planned to be built? About 1,000 of them. By the way, before you think we will be the talk of the town (so to speak), with our new NGAD and CCA aircraft, China and Russia are also trying to come up with something bigger and badder for their sixth generation aircraft. The world of aerial combat and dogfighting is about to look a whole lot different.

Before we scrap the F-22's and F-35's, know this. The NGAD is supposed to replace the very expensive F-22. However - the F-22's have many fans. Putting their price tags aside, the F-22 is an awesome platform, maybe the best in the world. And the more affordable F-35, is the darling of the West. The plans are to keep upgrading this fifth generation fighter, so it will still around when we introduce the NGAD fighter's into the mix.

Our Navy may be lagging a bit right now, but the Air Force is on the right track. The F-15 and F-16 won over many fans. Excellent aircraft. Then came the F-22 and F-35 fighters. Better yet. But none of these will hold a candle to the NGAD and CCA platforms. They will be one step away from Star Wars

If we can make it to 2030 without going to war with Russia over Ukraine, or China over Taiwan, we can build hundreds of these spiffy new planes. My fear is extensive and expensive wars this decade, will keep our future in the next decade looking murky. Very murky indeed.

Strength and weakness

"Can this country survive until 2024? Sometimes I wonder. Russia is ready to nuke NATO and us, as they have no fear of us anymore. 'Lead from behind', is the Commies best friend. Meanwhile, our combat troops have been taught which pronouns to use, and how bad MAGA white people are."

Ronald Reagan always talked about peace through strength. Having a military so strong, so respected, it could maintain the peace without ever having to fire a shot. That worked well until we elected Barack Obama. His mantra was "lead from behind." It was eight years of becoming weaker. Eight years of China, Russia, North Korea and Iran - going to town. But as much as Obama weakened our nation, that was nothing like his former Vice President. We have gone from being the "shining city on the hill", to a doormat.

As I pen this, Kamala Harris is in Africa. Why? Who knows. Maybe to talk to a dirt poor continent about clean energy. Something they cannot afford nor envision. But China has been to Africa - a lot. China has designs on making Africa part of their "Belt and Road" initiative. China wants the Cobalt which is mined in the Congo. Mined by kids in the most abysmal conditions.

China is working on clean energy products so they can turn around and sell them to us - at a profit. As far as China's power concerns, they cannot build coal plants fast enough. Why do they need so many coal plants? They are on the grow. Do they care about the climate? Not a wit.

John Kerry said over the weekend, that Biden is ready to push more unwanted "clean" mandates on us. Why? For his base. Here is the reality - we need energy - now. And we have more energy than anyone. But this President does not want us to use it. He wants us weaker. China gets stronger, and we get weaker. It is part of the deal, folks.

We need more and better ships for our Navy. We need domestic energy, and lots of it. We need to pull much of what is made in China, back to the United States - now. We do nothing but project weakness, ever since our shame in Afghanistan. Iran is sending drones to attack our troops in Syria. How many attacks? Ever since Biden took office, about 80 attacks. When Iran tried that on Trump, Trump blew up Iran's top general with Hellfire missiles. Not enough left of the general to put in an ashtray. What has Biden done? Sent Iran a nasty letter (so to speak).

Can this country survive until 2024? Sometimes I wonder. Russia is ready to nuke NATO and us, as they have no fear of us anymore. "Lead from behind", is the Commies best friend. Meanwhile, our combat troops have been taught which pronouns to use, and how bad MAGA white people are.

What happened to the aliens?

"So, where are the aliens? Why have they not landed on the front lawn of the White House and asked to be taken to our leader? Maybe, they don't want to meet who lives in the White House."

Earlier this week, it was reported by our once reliable press, that the aliens were coming. Their source - a "Time Traveler", they had somehow come across. On Thursday, the aliens were supposed to invade, take 8,000 of us to another planet, and then destroy the rest of us, along with the Earth. Move over Rod Serling!

Was I scared when I heard this? More relieved. Why? Yesterday, I was scheduled for a colonoscopy. If the aliens came on Thursday, I could skip the rest of my uncomfortable "cleanse", and then not have to do the colonoscopy on Friday! As it turns out, the aliens did not come, and I had my colonoscopy, as scheduled.

So, where are the aliens? Why have they not landed on the front lawn of the White House and asked to be taken to our leader? Maybe, they don't want to meet who lives in the White House. But there is something odd going on in our skies. More and more scientists are doubting that aliens from another galaxy exist to visit here. If if light speed travel can sometime be possible, the time it would take us just to get to our closest star system in the Milky Way, would take over 4 years. To get to another galaxy? Forgetaboutit!

Then the question begs to be asked, what are all these orbs and different things we are seeing in our skies? Are they time travelers? Inter-dimension travelers? Chinese super weapons? Or are they over active imaginations? And why would they be playing coy with us? Playing hide and seek? If their purpose was to only surveil us like we were lab rats, they are doing a lousy job. Why? We see them almost daily, somewhere in the world.

In Shakespeare's Hamlet, a famous line by Hamlet is, "The are more things in Heaven and Earth Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy". Thru words even today. What do we know about our cosmos and how we fit in? Not much.

We do however, know enough about our world to figure out how to kill each other. How to kill every man, woman and child on this planet in less than a day. Maybe it is for that reason alone, that aliens (should they exist), have decided to leave us alone. We are too dangerous - too toxic. I mean, if we can exterminate each other in less than a day, just think what we could do to someone (something) from outside our species. That would give any alien pause to ponder.

What makes a moral nation? A moral state?

"Is our state moral? Is our nation moral? Are many of some of our liberal churches moral? What is the world has happened to us? Can you imagine, fifty years ago, just about any one of these evil bills being brought up by either side of the legislature?"

There is a statement I use for men's ministry within a Bible believing church. Godly men = strong families = stronger churches = a more moral nation. Lord, do we need a more moral nation now! Especially in the once great state of Minnesota. Why? Minnesota has decided to take the secular path, all the way to debauchery. If not allowing abortion up to the point of birth, it is "gender reassignment". In fact, Taxing Timmy and his merry group of secular socialists, want to make Minnesota a mecca for "gender reassignment" surgery. Sick, sicker yet, and sickos all.

Is our state moral? Is our nation moral? Are many of some of our liberal churches moral? What is the world has happened to us? Can you imagine, fifty years ago, just about any one of these evil bills being brought up by either side of the legislature? The person bringing this bill up, would have either been laughed off the floor, or thrown out a window. But today? In our Godless sanctuary called the Twin Cities? Anything goes. Up to the point of the Twin Cities looking more like Sodom and Gomorrah.

Here are the facts of life that many of the remaining normals in Minnesota believe in. First, life is precious. It is a gift from God. Especially the lives of the young. Second, we are all born either male or female. That is a fact. We are born with the "plumbing" we have for a specific reason. That would be reproduction. Duh!  To change that "plumbing" would be abnormal and wrong.

We are so screwed up in this state right now, we still have laws on the books that in order for a minor to get a tattoo, the minor must be of a certain age. But gender mutilation? Come over to Minnesota! We will cut you, and do it legally. Your parents? They will have no say. Only Comrade Walz and this secular socialists will allow this miscarriage of justice.

What does the Bible say? For starters, Isaiah 5:20 starts out with the following:

Woe to those who call evil good,

and good evil -

who put darkness for light,

and light for darkness -

who put bitter for sweet,

and sweet for bitter.

Minnesota, you better get on the right side of moral issues. You better become more Godly and a whole lot less secular. You seem to have lost your moral compass. Time is not on your side.

How about a Fed with some guts?

"How about a full point increase in rates, each quarter, for the remainder of the year? And Congress needs QUIT SPENDING ON ESG CRAPOLA! This country needs to be run like a household budget."

Today is the "big day". The day the Fed is expected to raise interest rates a whopping .25%. Big deal. This is typical of this particular Fed. Tiptoe through the tulips. Don't do anything drastic. But here is the deal folks (if I may sound like Biden). When the spend-o-rama was going on the first year of Biden, the Fed did nothing. Did nothing until the massive spending ended up in inflation. Then they did mostly some timid rate increases.

During the Carter inflation, when we were in deep weeds, Paul Volker attacked the inflation with vigor. So much so, the interest rates about went into orbit. Buying a house at that time, was all but impossible. But he did tamp down inflation. So much so, the rates were then allowed to trickle down. Many of us, who never thought we would see a 8% mortgage again, did see it! Reagan cut taxes, increased military spending, and the economy started to purr once again.

Inflation has come down, but it is still too high. 6% is too high. If we throw food and energy into that mix, it would be higher than 6%. Do I care if that miss-managed back in Silicon Valley went belly up? Not one bit. If we raise rates and some of the weaker, ESG backs fall by the wayside, who cares? The important thing, is we get the interest rates down. And Joe Biden needs to take a class on basic macro-economics. He does not even have a grasp of the most obvious when it comes to managing money.

How about a full point increase in rates, each quarter, for the remainder of the year? And Congress needs QUIT SPENDING ON ESG CRAPOLA! This country needs to be run like a household budget. But because we have allowed China to get so far ahead, we do need to spend more on defense. A lot more. Otherwise, we will be in the backseat, watching Xi and Putin in the front seat, determining the course of the world. And it will not be a good course. We need a strong America. With a strong defense.

So it goes. We will see what happens today with the Fed. Hint: Don't hold your breath. I am afraid we will continue to tiptoe through the tulips with this Fed Chief.

Biden's tell tale veto

"Welcome to the land of loony tunes. As the world burns right now, and Xi and Putin are plotting how to carve up the remains of democracy, Biden continues to look for the boogie man. Corn Pop. Now better knows as Marjorie Taylor Green and the MAGA Republicans."

He continues to step in it. And he continues to blame his "boogie man", the MAGA Republicans. If we could channel only 5% of his vitriol that he has towards "MAGA Republicans" at the ChiComs, we would be in much better shape. As it is, Joe Biden continues to look for Corn Pop. Behind every billboard, Corn Pop is there lurking. Joe just wants to take that racist Corn Pop out to the high school gym and "beat the hell out of him." That is the fuzzy mind of Joe Biden. The bad guys are all around us, and Joe is looking for ghosts and shadows, mostly called Corn Pop, in the form of "MAGA Republicans".

So what did Slo Joe do yesterday, which was so bad? He vetoed a bipartisan bill, on ESG. It seems that with our new fuzzy math today, we look at the health of a company not by the pluses and minuses of the balance sheet, but rather by how woke and diverse they are. Huh? This bill would have forbid requiring the Labor Department from requiring fiduciaries consider Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) as metrics in determining the strength of a retirement investment. WHAT???

What does that mean? It means for those who have a nice nest egg for retirement, it is being watched and evaluated by buffoons right now. Rather than having sharp MBAs watch your assets, they are being taken care of by ideologues. It is like having a five year old kid watch your money. This bill, which would have made so much sense to so many, Biden used as a prop to take a swing at MAGA Republicans, in particular Marjorie Taylor Greene.

But wait - didn't Joe Manchin support this important piece of legislation? He is not a MAGA Republican. He did support it. But in the land of "broad brush Biden", that did not matter. Remember, Slo Joe is still looking for Corn Pop. The fact that Manchin supported this bill, meant nothing to Biden.

One final thing, if I may digress. On the state side, Taxing Timmy Walz is dead set against taking state social security tax off of senior's plates. But social security tax hurts all seniors, Republican and Democrat. Why would Walz do that? For the same reason Biden vetoed the ESG bill. Ideology. Pure and simple. It is all for the cause.

Welcome to the land of loony tunes. As the world burns right now, and Xi and Putin are plotting how to carve up the remains of democracy, Biden continues to look for the boogie man. Corn Pop. Now better knows as Marjorie Taylor Green and the MAGA Republicans.

This enemy of my enemy is still my enemy

"We need a divorce from China. Not in 2030, but now. They are poison. Our best interests are their last concern, They have chosen to be our enemy and not our friend. They should be treated as such."

Oh, boy. President Xi of China is going to visit Putin this week to discuss - their alliance. It is feared that China is going to give Russia a hand up on munitions, so they can continue this bloodbath in Ukraine. We have warned China not to, and they have ignored us. Why? They are not our friend. Not even close. But hold on! Don't we need each other? Trading partners? Unfortunately, yes.

Even though our President has a bromance with China, most of us who know better, are very, very leery of them. And scared. Why? Currently, about 20% of our imports come from China. I know, I know. Looking around the house, one would think that number would be more like 80%.

Gary Cohn, an economic advisor to Donald Trump, is reported to have said, "If you are the Chinese, and you really want to destroy us, just stop sending us antibiotics." Yes, they do make quite a bit of the drugs we use. They may only supply less than 20% of our finished drugs, but they make 80% of key ingredients which are used in many of our meds. Is this a clear and present danger to us? You better believe it!

Speaking of drugs, shall we talk about the other kind that China supplies to us? Like fentanyl? They are a major supplier of this deadly drug. They send it to Mexico, and then the cartels get it over the border. They don't need to stop sending us our legal drugs to kill tens of thousands of Americans - illegal fentanyl does the job for them.

So let's get this straight. China, our "friend", our trading partner, is really our fiend instead. They poison us, they spy on us, with everything from large balloons flying over our country to students in our universities, they steal our IP, and they war game against us. They are not our friend - not even close. I wish someone would tell Biden, Harris, Kerry, and Granholm this fact. They don't want to treat us as brothers and sister - they want to dance on our graves.

Sixty-six million citizens think we need a national divorce from each other. I have a better idea. We need a divorce from China. Not in 2030, but now. They are poison. Our best interests are their last concern, They have chosen to be our enemy and not our friend. They should be treated as such.

Nothing really to Brag about...

"The monster is indeed out there. Our country is being ripped apart not by Republicans nor Democrats - it is being devoured by the principalities of darkness. That darkness, which will prowl about like a lion, is just waiting to devour."

Alvin Bragg. The Manhattan DA which George Soros' money installed. A man who has been called a one-person wrecking ball to the safety of New York City residents. As a Democrat, he has become sacrosanct in New York. Cuomo would not touch him, nor will Hochul. Nor will Eric Adams. And why is that? You tell me. He has turned hundreds of felony convictions into misdemeanors, so the perps can walk under their "no bail" law. But Donald Trump? Bragg is going to take a low level offense, outside the limits of the law, and charge Trump with a felony. Why? Ask George Soros.

Does Bragg know what he is doing, should he charge Trump? This has never been done before, in the history of our country. It is unprecedented. And it will take an already torn up country, and put one more tear in our national fabric. I just read an article yesterday that 66 million of us, want a "national divorce". States in which red leaning people will live, and states in which blue leaning people will live. No more of this e pluribus unum - from now on it will be total bifurcation. We will be like the Blues and the Grays from yesteryear.

Here is the problem the Democrats have right now. This Trump pinata has been used and abused so many times since 2016, most of us are immune to it. In other words, **yawn**. It is kind of like how the term "racist" has been so overused. Today, it means nothing. Going after Trump, means nothing. In fact, some are predicting a huge backlash should Trump have to do the perp walk for Bragg. Elon Musk thinks it will shine Trump's star so brightly, he will win in a historic landslide in 2024. Wow!

When I was thinking yesterday, about what has happened to our state this year, and our country over the past few years, I was reminded of the Steppenwolf lyrics to a song:

America, where are you now,

Don't you care about your sons and daughters -

Don't you know, we need you now,

We can't fight alone against the monster.

The monster is indeed out there. Our country is being ripped apart not by Republicans nor Democrats - it is being devoured by the principalities of darkness. That darkness, which will prowl about like a lion, is just waiting to devour.

Our country, founded on a strong belief in God, is acting like anything but right now. Don't believe it? Go to church or mass this morning. It is right there in God's Word. How we will act in the final days. There is still time for us to change. We must purge this evil from our country and our state. We need God. We can't fight alone against this monster.

The man who impoverished Minnesota

"As Lady Thatcher said, "Socialism works well, until you run out of other people's money." Minnesota - you are about to run out of other people's money. Then it will be good luck, and good riddance."

The most common thing I hear from our friends with grandkids is this - "If not for our grandkids living here, we would be so out of here." Amen to that. Minnesota is now dead to most of us normals.

Let there be no doubt on who the guilty party is. The man who took Minnesota from a cold, politically dysfunctional state, to also an impoverished state. I know, I know. Many will say it was more than just him. We had the socialists in the legislature who prepared the bills to be signed, and we had the morons who elected these socialists in the first place. However, these bills would have only been while noise if they had not been signed into law. And that damning piece of evidence, lies squarely on the shoulders of Timothy Walz.

One of the 7,000 bills the socialists have prepared, was signed into law yesterday. Free breakfast meals and lunches for every school kid, no matter of the need. Why did we need this? Tim Walz wants to be remembered at the Governor who ended child poverty in Minnesota. Obviously, does not know the history of poverty. It has been with us always, and will be until the end of time.

That being said, my wife and I never knew of any impoverished kid growing up. If a kid did not have a lunch, we shared. When my kids were growing up, I would have given up almost everything before I allowed them to go without a meal. All of our friends with kids thought the same.

Note to Tim Walz and the socialists. The way to fix childhood poverty is to first fix irresponsible parents. Too harsh? Sorry. But once you have kids, you have a covenant to care for them. Even up to the inconvenience of self. And to give blanket free stuff to everyone, including those who are already fed three hots in a day, is totally irresponsible. But who cares? None of these people have ever worked for a living. Never had a real job which money mattered. So the bill for this nonsense comes rolling down the hill, to the taxpayers (again).

Some of our churches may be shrinking, but the secular religion of government is growing like a weed. What is the future of Minnesota? Bleak, at best. We will drive out any normals with money, and the crazies who never seem to have any of their own, will be in a world of hurt.

As Lady Thatcher said, "Socialism works well, until you run out of other people's money." Minnesota - you are about to run out of other people's money. Then it will be good luck, and good riddance.

Saints, saints, everywhere!

"Saints, saints everywhere. The next time you drive though a town whose first name is 'Saint', it might be interesting to find out the derivation of that name. If it is named after a Catholic Saint, why that Saint?"

Today is St. Patrick's Day. I am taking my oldest daughter down to St. Paul to watch a afternoon hockey game. Wait - are you nuts Bird? Do you know what kind of a zoo St. Paul is on St. Patrick's Day? Yep - been there before on that day, and it can be mayhem. But it is a commitment I made a while ago (before I knew it was St. Patrick's Day), and I will honor it. Even though I do not have a drop of Irish blood running through my veins, I have donned a green shirt and am ready to go.

Did you ever stop and think (or maybe wonder), why we have so many cities named after Saints in our country? First off, we have St. Paul, our capitol city. Named after the Apostle Paul, the man who wrote much of the New Testament. Then we have St. Peter, just south of St. Paul. Named after Peter, the Disciple who Jesus wanted to build His church. Then, just north of St. Paul, we have St. Cloud. Named after - a cloud who was sainted? What the heck?

Like I said, today is St. Patrick's Day. The day the Irish remember the man who drove the snakes out of Ireland. Not to be outdone, if you were Finnish, yesterday was St. Urho Day. That is the day that St. Urho drove the grasshoppers out of Finland. Of course, this was just those pesky Finns poking fun at the Irish. Urho is about as real as Micky Mouse is.

Actually, in the United States, there are 54 American cities which start with Saint. These include St. Louis, which is one of the largest cities in the Union. But let's get back to Minnesota for a minute. What is up with this St. Cloud name? Where the heck did that come from?

The city of St. Cloud, Minnesota has a long and complicated history in its naming. I will cut to the chase by saying that due to some jokesters in France, the city of Saint Cloud is a suburb of Paris, and pronounced, "san cloo". It was adopted by Benton County in Minnesota, to name their large and growing city after. Just like that, Minnesota is probably the only city with Saint in its title, which was not named after a well known Catholic Saint. However, there really was a French Saint called, Clodoald. His name became known to many as "Cloud" instead. And there you have how St. Cloud got its name.

To be fair, there are three other cities named Saint Cloud. One in Florida, which is almost as big as the one in Minnesota. And two tiny bergs named St. Cloud - one in Wisconsin and one in Missouri.

Saints, saints everywhere. The next time you drive though a town whose first name is "Saint", it might be interesting to find out the derivation of that same. If it is named after a Catholic Saint, why that Saint? Just and idea. It is kind of fun to learn about some of the ins and outs of how we got to be what we got to be.

The never ending story....

"This contagion of rail apathy does not only apply to LRT. The Northstar is also a ghost train."

Yawn... I was hesitant to write about this today, but I guess I need to. It is about the train most of us love to hate. The train which typifies the total entropy and mismanagement of Minnesota state government. In the real world, where things operate under a P+L statement, this train would have been dropped like a hot potato, many, many years ago. But in La La Land, (Minnesota government), where the crazies think that money grows on trees, wasting good money after bad is the name of the game.

During the past few days, the cat really came out of the bag. Nobody, and I mean nobody, knows when this thing will be completed, or how much it will cost. It is already double what the "experts" thought it would cost, and millions more is needed. And the exact estimate to complete? Your guess is as good as mine.

But there are other things to consider. The entire LRT system is now showing its true colors. Like, nobody wants to ride them anymore. Why not? They are magnets for crime, to start with. The LRT stations have been used for druggies to shoot up in, for the homeless to use as a bathrooms, and feral youth to act like idiots. It is so bad, that one of the uptown LRT stations just got partially shut down. Why? For reasons I just pointed out. The Met Council does not have enough cops to keep the children under control. So, they shut it down.

This contagion of rail apathy does not only apply to LRT. The Northstar is also a ghost train. Many times the Northstar is seen going by an intersection, headed downtown. And it is empty. The very expensive transit hubs, built to accommodate the hoards of people expected to take the Northstar - now also sit empty.

This experiment to build Euro style of trains, crisscrossing the Twin Cities has been a failure. A very, very expensive failure. So, will we stop building these things? Na. In state government, we love spending other people's money. We love it, no matter how bad of an "investment" it is.

"Write them a nasty letter!!!"

"Do I think the Russians really want to mess with us, while they are getting their butts kicked by Ukraine? Who cares? Senator Rounds summed up what many of us normals are feeling right now. 'I'm pissed off!', the Senator said. Ditto, ditto and ditto again."

Back in the days of Barack Obama (who could ever forget those days?), when something bad happened which would usually would result in some kind of United States response, Obama would write the offending country a stern letter. And then after the letter? Nothing. Nada. Crickets. This is all part of the Barack Obama "leading from behind" strategy. How would guys like Putin respond? Shaking in his boots.

Well okay Barack. We will see your nasty letter, and raise you one. Under Joe Biden, Air Force General James Hecker summed up our outrage at the loss of our MQ-9 Reaper Drone, which was downed by a Russian SU-27. Ready for this one? Hecker told the Russians, the loss of our drone by Russia was "reckless, environmentally unsound, and unprofessional." No - wait. This is a joke, right? We did not really chide the Russians for soiling the ocean with jet fuel? Did we really tell them this was environmentally unsound? The Russians, who every day, foul the air over our planet by bombing Ukraine and burning their buildings? I bet the Russians were thinking Hecker was trying to out-comedian Zelenskyy. That Hecker response was almost funny.

Fortunately, we were in international waters. Wait - would that not then be an act of war? Yes. But we were able to bring down our drone in international waters so our Navy ships could retrieve it, right? Not exactly. Why not? Because Biden, not wanting to offend the Russians, pulled all our ships out of the Black Sea a long time ago. There our drone sits, in international waters, just waiting for a Russian ship to retrieve it. SHM...

Senator Rounds, who is not a "lead from behind" fan, had a better solution. The Russians took down our drone. We put up three drones to replace it. We also tell the Russians that our drones operate in international waters, and if this happens again, there will be serious consequences.

Do I think the Russians really want to mess with us, while they are getting their butts kicked by Ukraine? Who cares? Senator Rounds summed up what many of us normals are feeling right now. "I'm pissed off!", the Senator said. Ditto, ditto and ditto again.

We are close to war folks. A small spark like what happened yesterday in the Black Sea is just one example of the match which could start the fire. Pray for peace, but prepare for war. Make that 3% increase in our proposed defense bill five times higher. We will need it. And take all those diversity and inclusion dollars out of the budget. We DON'T need any more of that crap!

Self loathing in Minnesota

"As you can see, the normals do not fit into this crazy mixed up state. At one time we did. But not now. And it is not just the people in St. Paul - it is the people who elected them."

I guess I hate myself. I am rotten to the core. How do I know? I am a racist. A sexist. A xenophobe. A homophobe. You name it, it is me. I need to do something - anything, to feel better about myself. You see, I live in Minnesota. Conquered land. Land which was made great by white men, who owned copious numbers of enslaved people, also committed genocide on the indigenous people who owned this land. Therefore, we have stolen honor, just for living here. Shame on all of us!

This is the kind of crapola which is peddled in St. Paul, each and every day the legislators are in session. We bad, therefore, we will pay. In fact, not only will we pay, we will turn a blind eye to immigrants who are stealing us blind. How so? Try on "Feeding our Future". Of the 60 who have been charged so far, all but a couple are immigrants. Together they have fleeced us for $250M. How could they do that right under our eyes? Because we are easy. Fish. Dupes. And in the eyes of the leftists, we probably deserved it anyhow, as we are xenophobic.

How bad did "Feeding our Future" get? One defendant (immigrant) billed the government for $3.5M to feed over 2,500 children meals in Pelican Rapids, MN. Nice try. Seems the total population of Pelican Rapids is only 2,500. Upon investigation, there was no food, and no children - only graft. How was this able to go on as long as it did without being outed? I don't know. Ask a Democrat.

One of the Republican legislators was on the radio today. His words were the same as many of us feel. The Democrats are trying to drive the normals out of this state. By introducing legislation, and then having Walz sign, things which are so crazy, so outlandish, it will cause many normals to throw in the towel. Move to a more normal state.

Most normals don't buy what the crazies are selling. We are not bad people, no matter how many aspersions the crazies throw at us. We are not secularists. We love and honor our God. We believe in the sanctity of life. We believe a man is a man, and a woman is a woman (DUH!). We believe when the government taxes too much and there is a surplus, that is the people's money - not government money.

As you can see, the normals do not fit into this crazy mixed up state. At one time we did. But not now. And it is not just the people in St. Paul - it is the people who elected them. With all the crap going on in St. Paul, there are no protests from the public. Just apathy. Why? We deserve it. We hate ourselves. We have self loathing in Minnesota.

Is our Navy becoming a "Canoe Club"?

"Is our Navy becoming a 'Canoe Club'? Not hardly, but there is still work to do. To keep the sea lanes free and open, we need to be the world's 'cop on the water'. Time is not our friend. We need to get going. How fast? Very fast."

Not coming close to meeting recruitment goals. Over half our young people not being fit enough for the armed forces. A GFY 24 budget with the armed forces only getting a 3% increase, when the inflation is double that much.

Today, the Atlantic has published an article asking if America has now ceded control of the oceans. In other words, are we headed towards expansionist, dictator countries, claiming large swaths of international waters, as their own. Should that ever happen, it would be a bleak future for many.

When Ronald Reagan was first running for President, he was alarmed at the state of our Navy. He made a pledge that if elected, he would re-build our Navy to a 600 ship fleet. And when Reagan was elected, it was "all hands on deck" for our government contractors. Our Navy was re-built under Reagan, and stood proud for decades. But that was then, and this in now. Joe Biden could not give two poops and a holler about the state of today's Navy. And we have never been in so much peril from the world's bad guys.

About 150 years ago, a Navy Captain named Alfred Thayer Mahan penned an article in the Atlantic called The United States Looking Outward. Mahan argued that without a strong Navy, soon our oceans could become constricted to trade and commerce. A strong Navy was vital to a strong America. He was right. He was right back then, and he would be right today.

For Joe Biden to turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to what is happening in the South China Sea, what could be happening in the Atlantic from the spillover from the Ukraine conflict, and the turmoil which is going on just off the Korean Peninsula, having a strong Navy is just as important today as it was during World War II.

Today we need more ships in number, and each of those ships must be build to fit a purpose. Today's threats at sea are not the same as they were during World War II. Not the same they were during Viet Nam. Not the same they were during the Gulf Wars. Today's stand off, hypersonic environment, calls for new thinking with new defenses. To sink one of our carriers, with 5,000 sailors on board, would be a dream come true for the bad guys.

It is time we ran the "wokesters" out of the DOD. We need clear thinkers and big budgets to fight off today's threats. More than numbers of ships, we need ships with so many capabilities, so much firepower, it will give any foe of ours - pause. Ronald Reagan's dream was having a military so strong, so fearful, he would never have to fire a shot. "Peace through strength" worked very well, thank you. Now we have the Obama/Biden "lead from behind" strategy. How is that working? Ask someone from Taiwan. They are living in dreadful fear.

We recently saw an example of Russia's hypersonic missiles as they reigned down on cities in Ukraine. The air defenses of Ukraine were over matched by the hypersonics. My greatest fear, is if push came to shove, our carrier battle groups could also find themselves overmatched by a wave of hypersonics. How bad could it be? Game, set, match and over. To lose a carrier, would be devastating for our Navy as well as our country.

Someone needs to wake sleepy Joe up and remind him the real enemies of this country are not the Republicans (or MAGA anything), the real enemies are all around us. They delight in our fascination with climate change and woke. Why? As we fiddle, the bad guys are going to town with their defense funding. I mean, don't look now, but China has built a Navy on par with ours. Soon it will be bigger (and maybe better) than ours.

Is our Navy becoming a "Canoe Club"? Not hardly, but there is still work to do. To keep the sea lanes free and open, we need to be the world's "cop on the water". Time is not our friend. We need to get going. How fast? Very fast.

Do I play well with neighbors?

"Donald Trump may not have been Putin's puppet, but Trump did have Putin's ear. And maybe his fear. Whatever it was, it kept Putin and Russia in check while Trump was President. Now look at Putin. Putin hates Biden, and hates the United States."

Here is the most important question that Joseph Biden should be asking himself these days. We already know he has an anachronistic viewpoint of how our economy should be run. And because of that viewpoint, our economy is being ruined, not run. But as hard as it is, let's forget that for just a bit. When Joe was running against Donald Trump, he advertised himself as a cosmopolitan type of leader. A man for all seasons. A man who could get along with everybody. I guess he was wrong. He needs to look in the mirror and get some perspective.

Donald Trump may not have been Putin's puppet, but Trump did have Putin's ear. And maybe his fear. Whatever it was, it kept Putin and Russia in check while Trump was President. Now look at Putin. Putin hates Biden, and hates the United States. We are on the threshold of World War III, and every month things just seem to get worse. Classic fail.

North Korea? Donald Trump was inches away from making some great headway with "Rocket Man". But that was then, and this is now. Kim has zero time for Biden, and is holding drills on how to invade South Korea. He is itching for a reason to unleash his "toys" in the western Pacific. The entire Korean Peninsula is a tinderbox right now, and getting more so by the day.

China? Worst relations that I can remember. Biden and Xi are barely talking, and we are getting closer and closer to absolute evidence Covid came out of Wuhan. But Xi does not care that we know that. He does not care we might try to stop him from taking Taiwan. Why not? He knows Biden is a wussy. Slow to act, slower yet to react. So long as China thinks our POTUS is weak and indecisive, the entire South China Sea will be in danger. And Taiwan is in mortal danger.

How is NATO doing with Biden as President? Most countries are still under the 2% of GDP dues. Of all the countries which can afford it, Germany is about 1/2 percent short. Donald Trump really blasted NATO right in front of them. He said if NATO does not contribute what they owe, what good is NATO? But that was then, and this is now. Biden does not care how much NATO contributes. Why? The United States continues to be the lion's share of support. Is there shame being put on the laggard countries of NATO? Not much.

Bottom line? The world saw Joe Biden in action during our retreat from Afghanistan. Friends and foes alike, had a front row seat. To the world, Biden is a dawdling old man, who runs and hides to his basement in Delaware. To normal Americans, he has been a one man wrecking ball to everything which once did work in this country. My grade for Joe Biden after 2 years as POTUS? What is lower than an "F"?

Joe's fuzzy math

"There. Now try on a budget with some guts, rather than the same old, same old. Budgets like the one Biden is proposing, is as worn out as Biden's 50 year old shoes. Time for some new thinking. Time for some new representation. Time to move forward, and not be stuck in the tar."

Here is the conclusion I have come up with. Joe Biden, does a lot better when he is explaining his budget math to morons. Why do I dare say such a thing? The "Big Guy" who may have taken millions of kickback dollars from overseas sources without paying a dime in taxes, somehow thinks that higher income Americans and corporations, "don't pay their fair share". Huh?

Here is the truth as I see it. Most higher income Americans (unless they are drug runners or "Big Guys"), use the current tax laws to pay their taxes. They have hired skilled accountants, who know how to reduced down their clients taxes, to the lowest LEGAL amount. The same is true to corporations. They pay their lowest LEGAL amount. You know, the tax laws that Congress came up with. You know, the Congress that Biden spent over 30 years of his life in.

But hold on Bird! Okay, so the anticipated revenue sources are a bit sketchy, how about the spending? The stuff most normals are interested in? Like, our defense budget, so we can keep pace with the drain of Ukraine, as well as prepping for China's invasion of Taiwan? I mean, Joe did put a 3% increase for military in his budget. What is wrong with that? Nothing, expect our inflation rate is now over 6%. That means a 3% increase, is really a 3% cut. DUH!

In our old neighborhood, one of my neighbors had a name for neighborhood kids who did stupid things. He called them "supidos". Joe Biden, this budget shows that anyone who helped you put this thing together is indeed a "stupido". But guess what Joe? Most of us normals out here, are not "supidos". In fact, we are pretty smart. We can read between the lines. We can count the stiches on a fast ball. And we can sure the heck see a pile of goo when it is presented as an annual federal budget.

Now go back and try again. Only this time, try this on as a recipe. 1) No tax increases on anybody. If anything, tax cuts. Including tax cuts on corporations. 2) An increase in defense spending of 5%, in real dollars after inflation. 3) Zero percent increase in any social spending. Use leftover Covid dollars, if needed. 4) Sunset the current Medicare and Social Security system five years from now. In those five years, replace them with sustainable programs which are not "Ponzi schemes".

There. Now try on a budget with some guts, rather than the same old, same old. Budgets like the one Biden is proposing, is as worn out as Biden's 50 year old shoes. Time for some new thinking. Time for some new representation. Time to move forward, and not be stuck in the tar.

The "state" of Mexico

"If someone asked me to sum up Mexico in one word, that word would be 'mess'. They are a lousy neighbor. They are a petri dish for drug traffic. And don't get me started on human trafficking. We can clean up Mexico, and they don't even need to thank us for doing it."

Just what kind of state is Mexico right now? Or what "state" is it in? Is it a narco-state? A failed state? Or is it in a state of confusion? Or is it just a mess. A lawless empire. The wild, wild west. Whatever ails Mexico, is now seeping over the border, as well as putting our citizens in danger when they visit Mexico.

Yesterday, someone from the State Department said we should consider the entire country of Mexico as being "Code Red". There is no place in Mexico which is safe. Not border towns, not the sea ports, no place. When we were cruising back from Hawaii in December, the last stop was a Mexican port. We stayed on the ship.

Of the 110,000 drug deaths in the United States last year, it is estimated that 70,000 were from Fentanyl. Fentanyl coming from China and then into Mexico, and then smuggled over the border. And what are we doing about it? Nothing. Our President, who is the worst President in the history of Presidents, has turned a blind eye and a deaf ear to this mega problem. Meanwhile, a man I was doing some volunteer work with yesterday, told me he recently lost his oldest daughter to Fentanyl poisoning. Yes, Fentanyl has found its way from Mexico, all the way up to the sleepy little town I live in.

Now comes the hard part. Lindsey Graham and others, want to light up the cartels using the full force and might of our military. We have involved our military before, when the narco-thugs were using Columbia as their base of operations. It worked. When my wife and I visited Columbia a few years ago, many of the locals were telling us how wonderful Columbia is to live in now, that the drugs were gone. Where did the drugs all go? Try Mexico.

What would I do, if I were President? First, lock down the border, tighter than a drum. The fact that Mexico is a huge trading partner is too dang bad. Then I would send the drones over the border, loaded with Hellfire missiles. If Mexico cannot deal with their drug problem, we will do it for them. We don't need to send it troops - our drones do the job just fine, thank you.

If someone asked me to sum up Mexico in one word, that word would be "mess". They are a lousy neighbor. They are a petri dish for drug traffic. And don't get me started on human trafficking. We can clean up Mexico, and they don't even need to thank us for doing it.

Minnesota's mucking fess

"Being a Democrat or Socialist in MN right now, is easy peasy. Whatever you want to do, go do it! Have a blast! If more normals move out of state and take their money with them, who cares? They are no longer wanted nor needed here anyhow. Welcome to our mucking fess. It will only get worse from here."

I will give the DFL credit for one thing. Thay have gall. They really do feel this past election has made them bullet proof. They can pass any legislation, no matter how wacky, no matter how expensive, and Taxing Timmy will sign it into law. They know all speed bumps have been removed, and with a placid electorate, they can act with impunity and speed. They have taken the light blue state of Minnesota, and made it so dark, dark blue, that only an idiot would want to move here.

Do I hate these people? No, I don't hate. I have sympathy for those who did not have the foresight to leave with the getting was good. Now those of us who remain - are stuck. First the DFL have secularized this state, and now they will impoverish it. After giving 60,000 felons the right to vote, and with legal voting for illegals right around the corner, MNGOP will not even be able to get a dogcatcher elected. Minnesota will be a permanent gulag for the DFL and worse. It is a state which will soon run out of other people's money, and then start the slow rot to serfdom.

I heard on the news this morning, that two of the bills being prepped are guaranteed income for poorer folks, and money for homeless youth. There is also talk about reparations for George Floyd's family, along with a public apology. Did I mention there is also a bill to change "pregnant women" to "birthing persons"? One would think that just like with severe drunk, once enough liquor (or in this case, crazy legislation) is consumed. the drunk would become satiated. Nope. Pour that drunk another, please!

Two of our state legislators go to our church. I have the chance to chat with them most every Sunday. How do they look and talk? First off, sometimes they have the "1,000 yard stare", like they have been in a horrible battle. Well, they have. They also sound very defeated when describing the craziness they see each and every day down in St. Paul. As Governor Sanders from Arkansas has recently said, "We no longer have red and blue - we now have normal and crazy". In St. Paul right now, welcome to the world of crazy.

It has been said, we get the government we deserve. The sad part is, most the electorate are either asleep or apathetic. Besides having not enough MNGOP elected to stop this madness, there are no citizens in the streets with pitchforks and torches.

Being a Democrat or Socialist in MN right now, is easy peasy. Whatever you want to do, go do it! Have a blast! If more normals move out of state and take their money with them, who cares? They are no longer wanted nor needed here anyhow. Welcome to our mucking fess. It will only get worse from here.

Was January 6th a Canard?

"I hope the new Congress starts up a new January 6th Committee. One which was balanced, and searching for the truth. The last commission was nothing but a sham, loaded up with ideologues who had agendas. It was filled with lies, lies and more lies."

Oh boy. Just when you thought things could not get any more divided in our country, we now have the official tapes of January 6th, released to Tucker Carlson of Fox News. These are not doctored tapes; they are not "deep fake" tapes; they are official government tapes. The same ones used by the "official" January 6th Committee. Only out of the 40,000 hours of tapes, the "official" committee cherry picked the heck out of these tapes, and left the other side of the event, laying on the cutting room floor.

Last night, I saw a dead man walking. Literally. Brian Sicknick, who was the Capitol policeman who was "beaten to death" by protesters using a fire extinguisher, somehow came back to life, and the videos show him doing his job inside the Capitol building. But, he was dead - beaten to death. Or - as reported in other than the MSM, he died of natural causes after the January 6th event was over.

And the QAnon Shamon, aka Jacob Chansley, was shown being very friendly with Capitol cops (and visa versa). What was he guilty of? Maybe not much. Walking around. But who cares? The Navy veteran, this patriot, is now sitting in some government prison for a four year term. Was he railroaded? I think we all know the answer to that question.

How about the murder of Ashli Babbitt? Remember her? The unarmed vet who was shot in the face by Capitol police officer, Michael Byrd? What was the punishment for Byrd? Nada. Compare that with the punishment for MSP officer Derek Chauvin, who was sentenced to 22.5 years for the death of George Floyd. Both involved one black and one white person. One was no charge, and the other was 22.5 years. Did Ashli Babbitt receive justice? Absolutely not! Was Officer Chauvin railroaded? I think many of us know the answer to that one.

I hope the new Congress starts up a new January 6th Committee. One which was balanced, and searching for the truth. The last commission was nothing but a sham, loaded up with ideologues who had agendas. It was filled with lies, lies and more lies. Think I am smoking something illegal? Watch Tucker, and then let me know what you think. Remember - these are the same tapes the commission used. Not doctored by anyone at Fox News. Just saying...

Was CPAC a "Trumpfest"?

"How is campaign season going to be this year? Interesting, to say the least. I really don't care who the nominee for our party is right now, so long as he or she can retire Biden. We need our country back. We need the adults in charge again."

Here we are. CPAC is now over. Just like previous years, Donald Trump was the main attraction. How much so? He smoked all the rest, including Ron DeSantis. Was does that mean going forward? If this is going to be a race for the nomination, somebody needs to come forward and "bloody" Don's nose. Right now, I don't see that happening. And if it does not, Don should have a smooth ride to the convention.

How could a twice impeached President have the following that Trump has? Simple answer. The party faithful know that Trump was being railroaded by the left. Even if there was some sparks under the smoke with things Trump has been accused of, the evidence that the "Deep State" was out to get him, obscured any flames or smoke. In going after Trump, the left and the "Deep State" have so overplayed their hands.

Despite his thin skin which has hurt him at times, Donald Trump brings many things to the party. First off, he is fearless. To wade back into the swamp, Donald Trump needs to have ice water running through his veins. And he does. Plus, he has a personal mandate. He feels his job was only half done. If he can have a friendly Congress, maybe he can unscrew many of the things which have been screwed up by others (if you know what I mean). But will Trump lead us into war? Hello? Where do you think we are now?

Here is my one fear however, with a second term of Donald Trump. I think Trump's inability to play with others really hurt him in his first term. Especially, those in his cabinet. I think Trump has the acumen to put this country on the right trajectory, but we need to have much of the background noise due to conflict, eliminated. Full speed ahead with a unified GOP. If not, if we have four more years of bickering and infighting - it is going to be ugly.

If Trump wins the nomination, I will support him fully. However, if I had my choice, I would like DeSantis to have a shot at the job. Like Trump, he is no shrinking violet. Unlike Trump, he has military experience, legal experience, and executive experience from running a large state. And it goes without saying, DeSantis has turned this purple state red.

How is campaign season going to be this year? Interesting, to say the least. I really don't care who the nominee for our party is right now, so long as he or she can retire Biden. We need our country back. We need the adults in charge again. War is right around the corner, and we need someone who can extinguish the blaze.
