Sanctuary for conservatives

"I have said this before. This is an all hands on deck issue. No freeloaders, no duffers, no scofflaws needed. The time is now and the place is here. Tomorrow is too late. The struggle to take back our country starts today."

This election should be a wake up call for all of us. Why? The "creeping blue fog" is escaping its previous boundaries. Areas which at one time were considered safe, all of sudden have a tinge of purple. States like Texas. Florida. Arizona. And why is that? Is there no bastion anymore for patriots and conservatives? Is no state safe anymore?

What the Democrats have done to this country reminds me of a cop movie I saw years ago. A cop, who was very good at catching the bad guys, was captured by the bad guys he was chasing. Did they kill him? Nope. They injected him for the time they had him with addicting drugs. By the time they released him, he was harmless to the bad guys. All the cop could think about was getting his next fix. And that is what the Democrats have done to many in our country. They have sheeple so dependent on what they have been given, or what they have been promised, they have lost the will to be red blooded Americans.

The specifics on how people voted this last election were particularly disturbing. They really were. The number of women who voted Blue Team far outstripped the number of men who voted Red Team. Huh? This one I don't understand at all. The number of seniors in Minnesota who voted Blue Team was higher than in the last election. Huh? Jeff Johnson was their one best chance to get the unfair tax on Social Security fixed. By voting Blue Team, it will cost married seniors who are collecting SS about $1,000 more a year. And of course, young people. Young heads full of mush continue to vote for the pied pipers in waves. Why? Everything is free. In fact, many think changing our country to socialism would be real cool.

So where do normal people go these days? The people who would fight for this country, its freedoms, its liberties, our way of life. What I am seeing now, is only willing sheeple. Sheeple who like in World War II, who would  be rounded up, and put in box cars. In other words, instead of Rosie the Riveter types today, we have a whole bunch of Rosie O'Donnell clones instead. Sad.

Bottom line - the front lines for the fight to take back out country might not lie in another state. It might lie in all states. How do we wake people up to let them know our country is slipping away? That is the question today - and a very important one at that.

It seems many of the Monday morning quarterbacks are decrying the lack of messaging we had during the last election. That lack of messaging might have been part of the problem. Maybe so. But it should not take a Madison Avenue type message to get through to people. To let them know what is happening to our country. For conservatives and patriots, this is as clear as a bell. How to get that clarity to the rest of the country, is the front line where the battle will be fought.

I have said this before. This is an all hands on deck issue. No freeloaders, no duffers, no scofflaws needed. The time is now, and the place is here. Tomorrow is too late. The struggle to take back our country starts today.

Once again, the nation laughs at us...

"Save your money and hide your guns folks. The statists are after you, your money, and your guns."

I still get teased every now and again about Jessie Ventura. "How in the world could you guys elect a professional wrestler to be your Governor? Are you all nuts?" I know I am not the only one who has heard that. Also, after Reagan's historic win, when Minnesota was the ONLY state to vote blue, the taunting came then also. "What the hey is wrong with you guys? Mondale? Are you nuts?" Well, ladies and gentlemen of the United States, as the saying goes, "you ain't seen nuttin' yet!"

Our new Attorney General has not even laid his hand on a (get ready for it...) Quran yet to be sworn in, and already the nation is laughing. Why? In the past few years, the Republicans have run some very good people to be Attorney General. None have been better than Doug Wardlow. He was hands down the most accomplished, the most qualified person to EVER run for this position.

Keith Ellison on the other hand, is the most flawed candidate, ever, to run for Attorney General. By a long shot. His background is beyond checkered. Some think it is beyond inappropriate. Some say criminal. His views on immigration and our borders go beyond shocking. His views on the Second Amendment are jaw dropping. Also the idea of making Minnesota sanctuary is a show stopper. Some think he, as a devout Muslim, will introduce some parts of Sharia law into our state Constitution. Get the picture? This new Attorney General, who does not even have a valid law license, should not even be a dog catcher.

I have pointed this out before. Statewide, Doug Wardlow smoked Ellison. He really did. Won over 70 counties in Minnesota. But the deep, deep blue and socialist dominated Twin Cities, voted for Ellison. Why? He has the "D" by his name. "Yellow Dog" Democrats will vote for a yellow dog, only if that dog was a Democrat. So once again, the Twin Cities "queered the deal". Nothing good ever comes out of the Twin Cities, especially during elections. The Twin Cities this year gave us "Walz the Taxer" for Governor, Ellison for Attorney General, Blaha (or is it "Ha Ha") for Auditor, and so forth.

Be proud Minnesota. Once again we stick out like a bright blue sore thumb. Now we are stuck with this bunch of losers for four long and expensive years. Voter fraud will continue to be rampant. Immigration will continue to be out of control. Antifa will continue to roam the streets causing all sorts of mayhem, without any fear of recrimination. This is our "New Minnesota". It is the government we have. Some say it is the government we deserve.

Buckle up. The road ahead is going to be very, very rocky. Whose fault is this? Many avenues for that question to go down. But the bulk of the blame rests on the shoulders of Red Team members who sat this one out.

Save your money and hide your guns folks. The statists are after you, your money, and your guns.

A new day has dawned...

"The Democrats of old, the ones we could have a respectful conversations with, are dead. They have been replaced with Antifa. With hate. With destruction."

For many of us, this past week was tough. Disappointing. But that week is over, and the past is in the past. Now it is time to look forward. And since Sunday really is the start of the week, and this Sunday is also Veteran's Day, I would like to offer some thoughts about the road ahead. About the days ahead.

Election Integrity - If is really ironical that for the last (almost) two years, we have been chasing ghosts with the Mueller probe. Yet, the real problem exists right under our noses. The Russians, the Chinese, the North Koreans, or whomever may be trying to mess up our elections. They don't care who wins, they just want to cause chaos. But the real enemy is among us. It is fraud, which is rampant. It is laziness in ballot custody, which Broward County is now demonstrating, live and in color. It is people in authority like Brenda Snipes of Broward County, who has no business being in charge of something this important. Right now, with what we are hearing is happening in Florida, Arizona, Georgia and other points, have caused many of us to have NO faith in the integrity of our system. Just like when we elected Al Franken based solely on voter fraud, we might be doing the same today.

The Church - I have said this many times before. When is the church going to start being the church again? When are pastors going to start acting like pastors again? What do I mean? I seems like every week, there is another article about some clergy member who is advocating for safe abortions at abortion clinics. Pastors! Every pastor, every follower of Christ for that matter, should be leading the charge against abortions. Period. We have lost over 60,000,000 innocent babies, over 8,000,000 just to Planned Parenthood, since the Roe v Wade decision. THIS HAS BEEN A BLIGHT ON OUR LAND!! Yet, for the most part, the church, the clergy, are quiet as mice on this subject. RISE UP PEOPLE!

Immigration - The past few years, our side has failed to successfully sound the alarm on immigration. We need to change that. We are in favor of legal immigration with logical and controlled refugee resettlement. However, Democrats have conflated our views to mean we are against (and maybe hate) ALL type of immigration. Not true. But illegal immigration, sanctuary cities and states, out of control chain migration, and refugee resettlement, is ruining the country. And Democrats during the campaign, have all vowed to double down on the crappy system we have now.

FIGHT! - We may have lost the election, but we have not lost the fight. The other side may have the Resist! movement against our President, but we have the FIGHT! against them. We will NOT go quietly into the night, while the forces of evil rip this country apart. All the patriots, especially the veterans who took an oath to protect this country from internal and external enemies, are ready to fight the forces of evil which have permeated our country. This evil has driven God out of much we hold dear. We want God restored on our communities, in our country, We want liberty and freedom restored in our country, and we will fight to ensure it happens.

Antifa - This epidemic is not just in Florida, Arizona, California and Minnesota. It is nationwide. There is no "safe place" to move. If we don't defeat this evil, soon it will visit itself upon every state, city and community in this great nation. The Democrats of old, the ones we could have a respectful conversations with, are dead. They have been replaced with Antifa. With hate. With destruction. With Mayhem.

This is not the time to cower. Not a time to give up. To run. THIS IS THE TIME TO FIGHT FOR OUR COUNTRY. A new day has dawned. Hope WILL spring eternal. Stay strong brothers and sisters. This fight has only just begun.

Escaping California

"Good luck California. Instead of being 'golden' these days, you are brown and have an odor. And I won't tell you what the brown stands for. You can figure that one out yourself."

Ah, the Golden State. As a young lad, I would dream about living in either Colorado or California. No longer. Not even close. In fact, California has become the epicenter of a new caravan. Of refugees of sorts. Only these are not impoverished people from Central America. These are the "makers" in California who have been taxed out of their skin. And after this latest 12 cent increase in the gas tax, those on the fence have had it.

What say you, newly elected Governor Newsom? You have inherited a mess, but in your eyes, California is anything but. Meanwhile, those who can leave - are. Soon your state will be made up of nothing but "takers", and the cost to support these people will be unobtainable. In other words, get ready for your state debt to go way beyond the $1T it has now.

Nobody feels sorry you, California. You have screwed up our national elections, your home grown Hollywood elites have become the nation's biggest hemorrhoids, and you look down on the rest of the country like you all are the wizard of smart, and the rest of us are stupid. Well, now you are reaping what you sow.

The most humorous thing I saw last election were the results from the Dianne Feinstein race. It was not red v. blue. It was blue v. blue. Huh? No Republican present. Only one statist Democrat against another. If that does not explain California, nothing will.

What does Texas think about receiving all these refugees from California? Not much. Why? They are bringing many of their bad California habits with them. They are starting to turn the bright red state of Texas into a purplish red state. Heck, Senator Cruz barely won re-election this week. Actually, most of these refugees need to go into a re-programming center before they are allow to establish roots in Texas. If not, Texas will also be lost in the near future.

Guess what California? Minnesota is starting to follow in your footsteps. We have a real winner now for Governor, who wants to chase business out of the state. Open our borders. Become sanctuary. Sound familiar California? Walz is going to follow your playbook. Why? He can't help himself. He is a life long statist.

Good luck California. Instead of being "golden" these days, you are brown and have a bad odor. And I won't tell you what the brown stands for. You can figure that one out yourself.

Dem' Dems are at it again!

"With a Democrat House and a socialist Governor, hard times are coming. If you pay no taxes, life will be good. Otherwise, stand by for bad news."

I have a confession to make. Please - no hate mail when I tell you what it is. Knowing we were going to lose seats in the United States House due to a midterm election, part of me was hoping we would lose just enough to give power to the Democrats. The U. S. House -NOT THE MINNESOTA HOUSE! Why? Dem' Dems cannot help themselves. They are seething with so much anger towards the President (still), they have become totally unhinged. As such, they will be like drunks stuck in a bar at happy hour. They will not be able to control themselves.

The last ballot was not even counted, when the "I" word started to surface in conversations all over Capitol Hill. "Impeachment! Now we got him!", said the portly, and obnoxious Jerry Nadler. In fact, the fab four of Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Jerry Nadler and Adam Schiff, are licking their chops. They are going to investigate EVERYTHING on this "illegitimate" President. Russia, his company, his family, his tax records, and if he was breast fed as a baby. This will be delicious! Nothing will get done! The Dems will stop this damn recovery dead in its tracks! Resist baby! It is the name of the game!

And therein lies the rub. Like a martial arts expert, Donald Trump will use all that Democrat energy and hatred - against them. All this hate will turn into a phalanx, which President Trump will turn into a victory march in 2020.

By the way, in case you have not noticed, the Blue Team does not have a clue on how to get stuff done - that is, except obstruct. Healthcare? Ha! Medicare for all? Double ha!! Just ask one of these Dems how they are going to pay for it. You will get the usual gobblety gook answer like, "this should be a right" or "we need to invest in our people". But specifics? They will not say a word on that for one very good reason. There is not enough tea in China to pay for all they want. Even with 100% of the people, paying 100% of their income in taxes.

No, I am not letting the Republicans off the hook on healthcare. They had two years to fix it and failed. I think President Trump knows how to fix it - but that is beyond his charter as President. That charter lies within the Congress. But the Congress must first release the hatred which lies within their collective hearts. But they can't.

In fact, look for some of them, hatred will be shown in the 900 demonstrations coming soon. Demonstrations on what? AG Sessions resigning. The progressives don't like it. They smell a rat. No evidence of any wrong doing however, but so what? It will be similar to the Kavanaugh hearings. As Abby Hoffman would say - it will be "Revolution for the hell of it!"

Enough already, about the misfits nationally. This article would not be complete without something about our local gang. Losing the Minnesota House was worse than losing the Governor chair. What? Why? If we had kept the House, Walz could have demanded a gas tax (like he did today), and the answer would have been something like "tough toenails". However, now that the socialist Democrat Hortman will probably be the next Speaker, the answer will only be "YES SIR!!!!" and "How much to you need sir???"

So this is our two new worlds which are coming. The national show will be fun to watch as Donald Trump will make fools out of the Dems and prep the stage for 2020. However, at home, this will be a different story. Seniors - those who wanted the unholy tax on your Social Security benefits eliminated - you are out of luck. Walz has NO INTEREST in doing that. He needs your money. And the 50% who pay taxes - get ready to be rammed.

With a Democrat House and a socialist Governor, hard times are coming. If you pay no taxes, life will be good. Otherwise, stand by for bad news.

The road to St. Paul is ....through St. Paul

"The ultimate goal of what we are trying to do, is to get to St. Paul. And to get to St. Paul, we need to go through St. Paul. And Minneapolis. And soon St. Cloud, Rochester and Duluth. Just saying. The numbers don't lie."

Yesterday was a very revealing, and somewhat healing day. As with most of us, the day did not start out well for me. I was raw, bitter, sad, and a couple hundred other feelings, all rolled into one. But as the day wore on, I was able to put things into perspective. My "mumbo jumbo" set of feelings were replaced with only one thing - resolve. Not an angry resolve, but a resolve to do what I can to help fix things.

Why bother fixing things? Why not just leave? For one thing, this is the state of my birth. My parents birth. My kids and grand kids birth. In other words, this is home. I grew up here. Lived a good part of my adult life here. And after this election, it became more evident than ever, this state is broken - badly. It is on an unsustainable trajectory to become the California of the Midwest - or worse. The wants and the needs of the blue party far outstrip the ability to pay for them. Once again - unsustainable.

I chatted with a good friend of mine yesterday. He too, feels the need to fight instead of taking flight. One thing we kept coming back to - the Twin Cities. Yesterday, I really blistered those two cities. Blamed them for the loss of most of the Red Team. But here is the main thing. We can hate on the Twin Cities until we are (excuse the expression), blue in the face. That will solve nothing. Or - we can try and figure our how to crack the code. Convince people who are avowed progressives and socialists, there is a better way. Our way.

That is a tall order. Maybe possible, maybe impossible. Convincing people who have been told for decades they can get free stuff for doing nothing, except voting blue every election, to try it our way instead, is going to be a heavy lift. For example, even though for the past year or so, the economy has been doing so well, black and brown unemployment is at a historic lows - had no effect on voting. They still pulled mostly blue. If this economy cannot convince people, I don't know what will.

One more thing. The Republicans have got to stop appearing to others as the party of the "old white folks". The message we have is hope and opportunity for ALL people, of ALL ages, of ALL races. We need many, many more young people involved in our politics. Why? Like I tell to my kids, Mom and I are past tense, the grand kids are future tense, but the kids are present tense. What does that mean? This is their world now. They have the helm. Our job is to only assist and guide them. THEY need to fix things, so their kids will not inherit a mess.

Looking at the election results map yesterday was a real eye opener. The Red Team won the state as it usually does. Regardless of what you hear on the news, Minnesota is not a blue state - it is a red state. That is if you look at only geography. However, when you mix in Hennepin and Ramsey counties, the color changes. Not to purple, but deep blue. Until we crack the code to those counties, we are done winning statewide elections - ever.

We all have to make our own decisions. None are bad. I fully understand. Some say, "Screw it - I have had enough! I am moving to (fill in the blank)!" Like I say, I understand. Others might want to cocoon, and wait to be assimilated by the dense blue fog which is spreading over the land. I understand that also. Or we can fight. Try to get our young people involved. Help them fix it.

The ultimate goal of what we are trying to do, is to get to St. Paul. And to get to St. Paul, we need to go through St. Paul. And Minneapolis. And soon St. Cloud, Rochester and Duluth. Just saying. The numbers don't lie.

The morning after

"I would love to say we need to recruit better people to run for office, but the people we did have this time were excellent. The cream of the crop. I would like to say their message was crap, but it was not. The message and the messaging were both excellent. This, in my opinion, was not the problem. Not even a little bit."

Where do I even begin. I still feel numb - like this whole thing was a bad dream. But it was not. It is our new reality. So, gut check time. Three options. Move to another state. That is risky as we saw how close Florida came last night to going blue. And Wisconsin has now lost their guardian of the tax payer. Assimilate. Just like with the Borg, become one of the mind numbed robots. Spit the red pill out and take the bill pill. Accept the fact we are now a conquered people. Fight. Do a lessons learned on what the heck just happened. Determine if there is any way on this green Earth we can turn this thing around in 2020 and 2022.

First, trying to look back, and reconstruct the scene of the accident. I would love to put the blame solely on the perpetual voter fraud this state endures, due in large part to our flimsy "same day registration". But it goes deeper than that. So I will call them as I see them this morning:

  • Money - after working on the Jeff Johnson campaign for his two governor races, he was plagued with money problems both times. This time, not as bad as the first time, but it was still a big issue. And, besides for Jeff, all the folks running for constitutional offices plus, our two Senate candidates, were vastly outspent by the Blue Machine. Lots and lots of outside money poured in. Union money. As much as the Democrats squeal about Citizens United and how unfair it is, their money flows into like a swollen river. Heck, Beto O'Rourke got over $70M in his race against Cruz - mostly from Hollywood. Until the Republicans can figure out how to establish parity on this issue, they will continue to be at a big disadvantage.
  • Demographics - "Ye have reaped what ye has sown." Right now we have tens of thousands of young people running around the landscape, old enough to vote, who do not know a dit from a "duh". Education Minnesota has done a stellar job in turning our young people into mind numbed robots. Into brainless snowflakes. They listen to charlatans like Obama and Walz, and the almost go into a hypnotic trance. "Free stuff?" "Socialism?" Critical thinking has been replaced with group think. Soon, we will need to establish a "Department of Feelings", so we can help these poor souls cope with life.
  • Immigration - Not much here to say. Again, most of us already know this. With 100,000 Somali refugees living in Cedar Riverside and the St. Cloud area, is there any reason to question why Omar is now going to serve in the United States House? Every election, the Somalis line up to vote in a blue, monolithic block. But what about this thing being Omar being married to her brother? Or the fraud committed to become a citizen? Who cares. This is historic. Besides (her words), she is going to get to Washington to "confront Trump".
  • Sex - I am now going to go where angels fear to tread. To some, this will sound very sexist, but the facts speak for themselves. What in the hell is wrong with the women in this state? Or for that matter, this country? The percentage of women who vote blue is not a little bit higher than the ones who vote red - it is double digits higher. Why? Many pundits say that women vote with their feelings more than their brains. If I were a woman, I would find that insulting. However - I will point this out. Kavanaugh and Ellison. For the life of me, I can't understand why so many women wailed and gnashed their teeth over the unsubstantiated rumors about Justice Kavanaugh, and then turned a deaf ear to much greater proof about Ellison. "Me too"? Bulls**t!
  • The Twin Cities -  What can I say that most of us don't already know. For years, the conspiracy theorists said there is a "mystery planet" roaming around the solar system named Nibiru. I think we have now found that mystery plant - it is in clear view only a few miles from us. The Twin Cities is so different than the rest of the state, it is like planet Nibiru. The population in the Twin Cities has sky high percentage of "takers", and very few "makers". The "takers" are the ones who pay no INCOME taxes. The ones who will vote for Bozo the Clown, if he had a "D" behind his name. True Yellow Dog Democrats, The Twin Cities are to Minnesota, what California is to the nation. They don't like, nor understand the rest of us, and the feeling is mutual. Today, rather than going in the cities as being an exciting and fun time, most look at going there with the same enthusiasm as getting a colonoscopy.
I would love to say we need to recruit better people to run for office, but the people we did have this time were excellent. The cream of the crop. I would like to say their message was crap, but it was not. The message and the messaging were both excellent. This, in my opinion, was not the problem. Not even a little bit.

That is all I have for this morning. It is hard to think, hard to write. As the sand starts to settle, and more of this starts making some sense, there will be more. Until then, I am going to cocoon for the day and make a nice fire. Out for now...
