Time for another famous Rush quotes. When he would get the libs spitting mad, they would talk about Rush and call him names. Even though Rush did nothing to deserve it (except tell the truth). Rush would often play a sound bite, with a Democrat saying something outlandish about Rush. To which, Rush would reply, "I continue to live rent free, in their heads...".

Oh, how the left hated Rush. But they could never lay a glove on him. He had the left tied up in knots, over and over and over again. I never thought I would EVER see someone who could cause such indigestion and consternation. But now we have Donald Trump. Remember him? Our 45th President who ran the country the right way? He is gone, but far from being forgotten. How so?

The Ultra MAGAs (that is us)! The MAGA King (that would be President Trump). Slo Joe and his puppet masters, set up a commission to come up with a new name for Trump and his people. Spending lots of $$$ and time, they needed a name so vile, it would besmirch Trump and Trumpsters for good. One small problem. Donald Trump LOVES the term MAGA King! He wears it with pride. And those of us who were called deplorables by Hillary (and wore that term proudly), are even happy with being called Ultra MAGA types! Well done Slo Joe - well done!

But Slo Joe and his merry band of socialists are not the only ones who live in Donald Trump's head. We need to remember our very youthful, Speaker of the House - Ms. Nancy. This past weekend, she referred to Donald Trump as "that creature". That creature? Like the creature from the black lagoon? What the what was she talking about? 

Why do these two practicing Catholics (who by their faith should know better), have such a seething hatred for Donald Trump. It seriously reminds me of grade school, where kids would think very hard, to come up with names to call someone which would be the most hurtful. Most adults, many years prior, have practiced "sticks and stones". That being said, Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi are acting like kids on a playground. Meanwhile, they exist rent free, in Donald Trump's head.

And why does the left hate Trump with such venom? For the same reason they hated Rush. Both Rush and Trump made monkeys out of those on the left, and they had no way to stop it.

The long awaited MN GOP convention is over. Surprises? Some. Many thought it might be a real fight for the AG position between Doug Wardlow and Dennis Smith. Turns out neither got the nod. It went to a total outsider, a man named Jim Schultz. Will he be the one to take back this position, which has resided in the DFL hands for 50 years or so? We will see.

Kim Crockett was a good choice for SOS. Smart, quick on her feet, and ready to rumble. Lord knows the SOS office needs a good cleaning and maybe some fumigation. Ever since the Soros funded "SOS Project", this office has been suspect. And with the number of actual or suspected voting irregularities from 2020, any gaping wounds need to be healed - and fast.

On to the Governor. First, let me clear the air. I do not dislike Scott Jensen. I think he is a good man. However, that being said, I have my doubts if he can win. Picking Matt Birk as a running mate was a good idea. A little extra star power never hurts anyone. It is indeed unfortunate there was some kind of kerfuffle towards the end of the voting. Some people like bruising political campaigns, as it "toughens up the troops for the general election". I am not of that camp. I think bruising campaigns hurt our cohesiveness. Sometimes there are lingering hurts which work against us, and not for us. Trust me - I have seen it.

Jeff Johnson ran very good campaigns the last two times. I would know that, as I was on Jeff's team. Outstate, Jeff was awesome. In the metro area, that is where the battle was lost. Same with Doug Wardlow, running for AG the last time around.

This time, I backed Michelle Benson, as I thought she had the best chance of turning some blue voters red in the metro area. I also thought that of Kendall Qualls. Scott Jensen is an unknown to me on that issue. I hope he can turn some blues to reds in the metro area, for if he can't, this year will be a repeat of 2018, 2014, and 2010. 

More on the upcoming campaign as it gets closer. Meanwhile, the headline story in Drudge this morning, was that Russia has lost 1/3 of its ground forces in Ukraine. That is a huge news story. I know as of late, I have been penning stories about the war more so than other events. But this is a huge deal. More on that next week.  

Poland? Finland? Nazis? Oh, come on Vlad!

Seems we have pockets of Nazis all over the place. Least wise, that is the rumor. I mean, the cover story that Russia has used to invade Ukraine, was to rout out the Nazis. You mean, like Hitler's Brown Shirts? That actually belonged to a party called the National Socialists? But, I don't recall seeing anyone "goosestepping" down the streets of Kyiv. Or any Ukrainian city for that matter.

It has been reported that a high level Russian (name unknown), has stated that once the "denazification" of Ukraine is complete, Poland might be next on the list. It would be like some kind of cleansing. Yes, that same term was used for Poland - "denazification". But here is the major difference between Poland and Ukraine - NATO. An incursion into Poland would not be the wisest thing the Russians could do. Article 5 would instantly come into effect, and the long dreaded war between NATO and Russia would be "game on".

But what about Finland? Have not head a peep about Nazis in Finland. However, that has not stopped the "Big Bad Bear" from threatening Finland with nuclear something or other - should they join NATO this summer. Here is the sweet irony of the long standing neutral Finland finally joining NATO. Last year, it was reported a poll was taken in Finland. Only about 20% of the Finlanders wanted to join NATO. Today, now that Russia has invaded a non-NATO country, about 80% of the Finlanders are for it.

Meanwhile, back on the battleground, Russia continues to take unacceptable losses. It is bad enough that (estimated) over 30,000 Russian troops have been killed (along with numerous generals), but their loss of armor is nothing less than staggering.

Russia continues to bomb and shell the heck out of the steel plant in Mariupol, where the brave Ukrainian Marines are putting up their last stand. But that entire "land bridge" idea, is taking Putin much, much longer (and costlier) than was ever imagined.

Everything bad which has happened as of late, has been the fault of the U,S of A. And then having Donald Trump, with all of his Ultra MAGA type people, only poured gas on the fire. I mean, come on folks! Trump wanted to make America greater than it already was! That was not fair! We need equity! So Joe Biden, has us in a race to the bottom. Well played Slo Joe! Even better played by those who voted for this empty suit.

Here comes the whopper. And it has nothing to do with fishing openers this weekend. According to Reuters, 81% of those polled think the country is now on the wrong track! Wow! What does an administration do with that kind of data? Ron Klaine, the wizard of smart in the Biden WH, had the right idea. Double down. How so? With gas prices setting records each and every day this week, Klaine thought it would be brilliant to cancel drilling leases in the oil rich Cook Inlet in Alaska. That is about 1,000,000 acres of lower gas prices if we could drill there. But nope! Screw the consumer! Screw oil starved Europe! So long as Klaine can keep kissing the Squads posterior, everything is dandy.

Baby formula. People with youngins all over the country are in a panic to get baby formula. What is Biden doing under Klaine's direction? Sending some of government stockpiles down to the southern border, to give to illegals. From first to last baby! Bout time some of these ugly Americans were treated worse than immigrants! Meanwhile, the taxpayers who are paying Biden and Klaine's salary, are taking it tough. Why? According to Slo Joe - they deserve it.

Jen Psaki bailed out today. Smart. She does not want to be in the upcoming ship wreck, or s**t storm. This Biden ship of state is making the Titanic look like a Carnival cruise ship. But on Biden's ship of state, there is no redemption. No rearranging the deck chairs. No SOS will be heard nor heeded. Come November, after when there is an election of historical magnitude and significance, everyone will be asking who it is to blame. Those who have been paying attention will know. And it is not the sock puppet. It is the sock puppet masters, who are also puppets, for their puppet masters - the Squad.

Folks, we just need to survive until January. Once we have taken the House and Senate, we can blunt some of the BS coming out of Klaine and Biden. 

 

Is Russia over?

If you want to see how a superior Army takes care of a lesser Army, watching what is happening in Ukraine is not where you should set your gaze. However, should you look back in history to the first Gulf War, where a coalition of the willing ousted a large and powerful Iraqi Army - that is how it should be done. The UN backed coalition, of which the United States took the lead, had the generals, the equipment, the numbers, and the strategy. The result? The ground war was over in less than a week. 

The Russian Army has been a huge disappointment to Vladimir Putin. As has his generals. Why? They lied to him. Blew sunshine up his - never mind. The great and powerful Russian Army went up against a bunch of farmers, office workers, citizens, who live and work in Ukraine. But these people in Ukraine know what war is like. What it is like to be conquered. And they were NOT going to let that happen to them again!

Two things have turned this war from being a projected landslide, into a stalemate. First, is the tenacity of the Ukrainian people. Second, unexpected technology. Phoenix Ghost drones, Switchblade drones, Javelin antitank missiles, and new version of Stinger missiles have all but blunted this "blitzkrieg" Russian invasion. 

The world has now seen the new Russian Army, and most are not impressed. With mediocre ground troops, where does that leave Putin? When it comes to imposing his will on other countries? Well, he has stuff he is not supposed to have, like chemical and bio weapons. And - he has stuff which is legal for him to have - like 6,000 nukes.

Is Russia over? Not so long as Russia houses 6,000 nukes, and is run by someone who might use them. I really thought when the Soviet Union fell, and the Cold War was over, Russia would have picked themselves up from the floor, and decide to join the league of civilized nations. It would have worked except for one thing. Way too many anachronistic Commie dinosaurs, who are pulling the levers of power. So long as they are still around, Russia does not have a prayer of being accepted as being legit.

Until then, we are day for day with Russia. Will Russia use a tactical nuke in Ukraine? I sure hope not. It would for sure, widen the war. Would Russia use his strategic nukes to teach NATO and the US a lesson? That would be the end of everything, no matter what kind of crap Putin's generals are telling him.      

Confessions of an "Ultra MAGA"

"But this Ultra MAGA name, this is one I really like! So much so, I am going to wear this one right into the 2022 midterms and 2024 general election."   

100%. He nailed it. We now have a new moniker. I never really cared for being a deplorable. And the white supremacist thing, wore thin real fast. But Ultra MAGA? I think I am loving this one! Sounds almost like a super hero of sorts. And Donald Trump, who made the term MAGA famous, has got to be grinning from ear to ear!  

Anita Dunn, another retread from the Obama years, has joined the astute Ron Klaine to be another puppet master for our national puppet (Slo Joe). Rumor has it, that the term "Ultra MAGA" was her idea. Brilliant! Awesome! Well done Padawan! Now Slo Joe can blame EVERYTHING on the Ultra MAGAs. Like what you might ask? Inflation for a starter. Higher taxes. Our energy woes. Sun spots. Anything which is going bad right now, is the fault of the 75 million or so who supported Donald Trump. 

Well, here is my confession. I am an Ultra MAGAer (and proud of it). What do I believe in besides God Almighty? I believe in the power of human life, no matter what stage it is in, while living in the womb. I believe in energy independence - in other words, "drill baby, drill". I believe in making as much stuff as we can right here in America. I believe in a strong national defense, and a Defense Department doing things the right way (hint: not like in Afghanistan). I believe in law and order, and respecting our law enforcement. There are more, but I will stop here.

Someone on the news this morning had an interesting observation for Biden. If Biden wants to be great, if he wants to get things done, if he wants to really help out the American people - he need only do one thing. Opposite. Everything he is doing, just do the opposite. That would be a positive step towards having a better legacy.

Rush would always say, "When they start calling you names, you know you have won the argument." Amen to that sir. The left is good at calling us names. Trying to diminish us. We just laugh it off, and wear those names with pride. But this Ultra MAGA name, this is one I really like! So much so, I am going to wear this one right into the 2022 midterms and 2024 general election.   

The continuation of the "Untied" States of America...

"We are in a mess of historic proportions. There is no other way to describe it. How is the summer going to go? Not well for many. With gasoline at $4.25 and climbing, and diesel over $5.00 - not a lot of fun this summer in the offing."

Obama started it. And it has continued ever since. The left wants this nation divided. Sliced and diced. So instead of the United States of America, we have been, and still are, becoming the "untied" states of America. Black and white. Red and blue. Pro-choice or pro-life. Rich or poor. Capitalist or socialist. Republican or Democrat. Fossil fuels or renewable. Blah, blah, blah.

We are in a heck of a fix right now. Where is our "off ramp"? No clue. We are stuck with supply chain issues, a pandemic which will not go away, an un-forecasted and now a protracted war in Ukraine, Jimmy Carter type of inflation, and now food shortages. Our leadership, the ones who could possibly lead us out of this morass, are either out to lunch, or just plain out of it totally. 

So what can we do? What have we become good at? Snipping at each other. Yelling at each other. Hating on each other. Now we have the upcoming Roe decision. The "mob" has resorted to doxxing (again), protesting with vulgar vigor (again), and destruction (again). Sounds like another fun summer coming up. 

The latest issue which has come up is baby formula. Seems if we can't kill our unborn in the womb, now we can starve them once they are born. Wait - what? What in the world do you mean? Love him or hate him, Donald Trump was right. Get our stuff back in this country. Make our own things. Why is there a baby formula shortage right now? Because almost half of it is made in China. And part of China is "shut down", due to another variant of Covid. Who is responsible for so many things being made offshore? Look in the mirror. 

Today, our President is going to explain to the American people what he will do about inflation. I might have to make some popcorn to watch this one. What can he do? EVERYBODY knows the answer to that one. Even Biden. But he won't do it. He is still too cowed by the greenies. So - we will do nothing. No more drilling. Just like Jimmy Carter, when (instead of drilling more), when he told us to "Turn down our thermostats to 60 degrees, and wear a cardigan sweater", Biden will do nothing.

We are in a mess of historic proportions. There is no other way to describe it. How is the summer going to go? Not well for many. With gasoline at $4.25 and climbing, and diesel over $5.00 - not a lot of fun this summer in the offing. Lessons learned? Same as always. Elections have consequences. And the consequence of having Biden as President, is huge.
