"The odd part of this present-day surge of hatred against the Jews, is when Hamas came over the Israel border and started to slaughter the innocents, many Hamas marauders had GoPro cameras mounted on their bodies and documented the carnage."
Our church just finished a study on Esther from the Old Testament. It was a tale which could have been told today. Not much has changed - the story of Esther took place in Persia (now Iran), and Esther and her people were of the Jewish faith - therefore not wanted. Not only not wanted, but a plot was being hatched to kill them all. Not to resettle them someplace like Israel - just get rid of them. To make a long story short, the providence of God prevailed, and Esther saved the day. The Jews survived, and the ones plotting against the Jews were killed.
The story of Esther happened hundreds of years before the birth of Christ. And now here we are, 2,000 years after the time of Jesus, and Jews are still being persecuted. Why? What is it? What happened on October 7th of this year in the country of Israel is horrible beyond description. And yet, some are already trying to rewrite the history of that event. The Jews caused it. Or, it was all a hoax, just an excuse for Israel to attack Gaza and kill Muslims.
The odd part of this present-day surge of hatred against the Jews, is when Hamas came over the Israel border and started to slaughter the innocents, many Hamas marauders had GoPro cameras mounted on their bodies and documented the carnage. Then, right after the marauders went back to Gaza, forensic investigators from Israel also document the site(s). And all that evidence had been displayed to the world. That is, if a venue was available which could show that gruesome carnage.
But - the hatred for the Jews is so visceral, that all that evidence does not matter. Protests have broken out all over the world, condemning the Jewish people. After Hamas invaded Israel and butchered over 1,000 people, and then kidnapped over 200 innocent people, they were justified in doing so. Huh? Does that not make sense to you? Because it sure does not make sense to me. But what we are witnessing worldwide right now, is the greatest case of brainwashing - ever. And many of our current mind numbed college kids, are way to indoctrinated to know otherwise.
The Bible is very clear on the Jewish people. And also, Israel. To vote against the Jewish people or their homeland of Israel, is not a smart move. Not smart at all.
