War or peace? We can do both!

"I should tell you that many Democrats hate this new type of diplomacy. They yearn for the days of Biden, when Abby Gate was the norm for how our military performed. Those days are now long over - that is, unless this country votes in another softie like Joe Biden. Then we get to practice our new pronouns all over again, while China has its way in the Indo-Pacific."

As the Good Book says, "Blessed are the peacemakers". As Shakespeare said in Julius Ceasar, "Cry Havoc and let slip the dogs of war!" So, what are we, as Americans right now? Peacemakers or war mongers? Maybe a little of both. Our president, who loves a peaceful world, also has a doctrine of FAFO. How so? Just look at what happened to General Soleimani. Or the eleven narco-terrorists who were trying to bring poison dope into our country. Where are they now? Hint: Not here.

Yesterday, President Trump resurrected the former name of the Defense Department. Now to be called the Department of War. For issues which come up which require a peaceful solution (soft power), we have our Department of State, currently run by the Best SOS we have had in a long, long time. That would be Marco Rubio. To assist him in coming up with peaceful resolutions to natty matters (which could become hot if not handled correctly), Marco has a raft of professional negotiators at his side, including the president himself.

However, for matters which require the stick instead of the carrot, we now have the warrior ethos instilled in our newly minted Department of War. As Secretary Hegseth said yesterday, whenever the Department of War is called upon, action will be swift and complete. No more "forever wars". No more wars of attrition. No more wars to be fought to a draw. As General Patton told his troops in WWII - "I don't want you boys dying for your country. I want you to make the boys on the other side die for their country." Bingo!

What is happening right now in the Pentagon is nothing short of amazing. Hegseth has taken out a big shovel and cleaned out all of the pronouns and woke bs. He has replaced it with standards and merit. Our service members have once again become rough and tough, lean and mean. The best troops using the best equipment. BUT - our Department of War will follow our first rule of engagement - peace through strength. If, however, some bad actors insist on FAFO, then they will find fire and fury. Trump and Hegseth will unleash the dogs of war, and it won't be pretty for the other side.

I should tell you that many Democrats hate this new type of diplomacy. They yearn for the days of Biden, when Abby Gate was the norm for how our military performed. Those days are now long over - that is, unless this country votes in another softie like Joe Biden. Then we get to practice our new pronouns all over again, while China has its way in the Indo-Pacific.
