Loving America

"Trump knows this is his final term in office, so he will make the most of every single day. In 2026, he will visit China to try and cement that relationship deeper. I think he will revisit the Greenland issue. Maybe take another run at Kim in North Korea. He would love to have a de-nuked Korean Peninsula be part of his legacy. But the elusive prize is still in his sights. Peace in Ukraine."

Okay - I will admit it. I am a chauvinist. Have been for most of my life. Before anybody gets their undies in a wad and think I just admitted to being a sexist - I am not. Chauvinist is a term which has been taken out of context. How so? Ever hear of a "male chauvinist pig"? But according to the Encyclopedia Britanica, a "chauvinist" is defined as follows: "Someone who has excessive and unreasonable patriotism and nationalism, a fervent faith in national excellence and glory." I agree with this definition with the exception of the word "unreasonable".

Even though I am no longer proud of the state I live in, my love for this great country has never changed. One of the reasons I am MAGA and love our president, is he feels the same way. His love for country is deep and wide. Do I think his perpetual love for country is a bit egocentric? Sure is - but who cares? I sure don't. America leads the world in so many things. By the way - who was first on the disaster scene in Jamaca? China? Russia? Anybody? We were (again). Besides for all the other good traits that America has, we are some of the most generous and compassionate people on Earth.

I have only one word to share with people who hate this country - leave. If you don't like it here, go live somewhere else. This goes for our 5th District Congresswoman in spades. Go back to where you came from. All you do here is bitch about the country who (for some reason), has been so good to you. Most of the folks who live on my side of the political street feel similar to me. A bunch of chauvinists we are!

I love watching Donald Trump when he visits our friends and foes alike when overseas. He may not be a king (yes Democrats, he is our president), but he is treated almost like royalty. After years of "leading from behind" or "benign neglect", our leadership now is seen by many overseas as once again, the leader of the free world. It does not matter if Trump is visiting the Middle East, Israel, NATO, or the WestPac, Donald Trump is welcomed with open arms. However, both Canada and Mexico might prefer having Biden back in the White House. Why? They could both run rough shod over us. Not so much with Donald Trump. He still believes in the Monroe Doctrine.

Trump knows this is his final term in office, so he will make the most of every single day. In 2026, he will visit China to try and cement that relationship deeper. I think he will revisit the Greenland issue. Maybe take another run at Kim in North Korea. He would love to have a de-nuked Korean Peninsula be part of his legacy. But the elusive prize is still in his sights. Peace in Ukraine.

There is a reason Trump always has the Lee Greenwood, "Proud to be an American" playing when he steps onto a stage. Why? He really believes it. As do most of us MAGA types. Call us chauvinists, call us patriots - but most of all, call us Americans.
