ISO - our better angels

 

"The only thing saving Minneapolis from suffering through another conflagration like it did after the Floyd thing - is the weather. If it were July instead of January, things might be much different right now. And this week will be colder than last week. Could that be our saving grace? Could that bring on better angels to fix the leadership of Minneapolis? I guess we will have to wait and see."   

Minneapolis, Minnesota. The land which time has forgotten. For some reason, the latter-day hippies who live there, still think it is 2020 and George Floyd just died. But it is not 2020. It is time for the good little paid demonstrators and the other useful idiots to get back to work. In fact, it is time for many of them to go to church- not invade a church service like they did yesterday. The latter-day hippies as well as the Soros paid demonstrators might think they are on the side of the angels - but they are not. That being said, they really do need to summon their better angels and get themselves right.

Each day, every day, Minneapolis gets closer to the edge of darkness. And whose fault is that? In the eyes of the latter-day hippies as well as the Soros paid demonstrators, this all lands at the feet of Donald Trump. But for those of us who know better, who are not looking at Minneapolis through rose colored glasses, the fault lies squarely with the DFL. The DFL who gave Minneapolis sanctuary status. The DFL who gave us Tim Walz for governor. The DFL who gave us Jacob Frey for Mayor of Minneapolis. The DFL who gave us Keith Ellison for AG. The DFL who gave us the worst abortion bill in the country. The DFL who allowed the "newcomers" to rob us blind while the people in charge practiced benign neglect. The list could go on and on and on.

Here are the facts on the ground. ICE Agents are patriots, enforcing laws on the books which have been passed by Congress. Period. Not having Minneapolis protect and assist the ICE Agents against the lawless mobs is a crime against any humanity we might have left. Having the lawless mob go into a sanctified church and cuss, swear and disrupt while a service is going on, was just plain vile. But what do expect from the Twin Cities that many now refer to as Sodom and Gomorrah. And that is not a good thing.

Jacob Frey puffed out this chest and declared that if Trump authorizes the Insurrection Act and sends in 1,500 soldiers from Alaska, that he (Frey) will not be intimidated. Note to that little twerp from Virginia - this is not about you, Jacob. This is about restoring law and order. It is sad it has to come to this, but the local folks (like Frey and Walz) can't seem to find the right levers to pull to get their big boy pants on. Thus, it will be up to the feds to fix this mess of a state.
