The mystery of Aurora

"I don't think the United States has left itself without a newer and better version of the SR-71. I also don't think when we retired the last space shuttle there was not something else cooking in the back kitchen."

I have spun this yarn before. In January of 1970, when I first got to Okinawa, I was in the process of settling in and getting situated with my new surroundings. Next to the base I was stationed at, was a huge AFB called Kadena. Anyhow, true to Air Force fashion, Kadena was rumored to have the best PX on the island, and I needed some stuff. On my first day off, I caught a cab and was off to Kadena.

When I was walking towards the PX, I heard the loudest roar imaginable. Much louder than the very loud B-52's which took off on a regular basis. I looked up and saw a very weird looking aircraft going almost straight up in the sky. It looked like a pencil with two rocket engines on the back. Some airman happened to be walking by when I saw it. "What is that??" I asked. He looked at me like I was from Mars. "What? I don't see anything". That was my first intro into the world of "black programs."

What was it? The SR-71 Blackbird, now fully retired. A spy plane like no other. This follow on to the U-2 spy plane was quite an improvement. Fast, stealthy, loaded with cameras that could - never mind - probably still classified. Then all of a sudden, with no follow-on spy plane being announced, the SR-71 was gone. It left the United States without a kick-ass spy place like the Blackbird - or was it?

The long rumored Aurora Program might just be more than a rumor. Some say that Lockheed's famous Skunk Works facility has developed more than one candidate to replace the Blackbird. One of the more popular theories is a new sleek new jet called the SR-91.
This plane, using pulse technology, is (supposedly) capable of Mach 6 (or better). By the way, Mach 6 is three times faster than a speeding bullet.

Others think that Lockheed has made a quantum lead in technology and developed the TR 3-B - better known as the flying triangle. This aircraft uses a propulsion which is so complicated, I can't even begin to explain it. The speed and capabilities for this space capable aircraft are off the charts. 

More and more UFO experts and now re-thinking some of the recent sightings. May not be "otherworldly" at all. Might just be the latest and greatest aircraft (or spacecraft) to be tested by our government. What do I believe? I don't think the United States has left itself without a newer and better version of the SR-71. Not for a minute. I also don't think when we retired the last space shuttle, there was not something else cooking in the back kitchen. Why do I think that? Once you have a security clearance, you realize just how little of the story gets out in the public. It is the proverbial iceberg. 90% of the story is under the water.

This one is worth keeping an eye on folks. I think more and more is going to be revealed once we get into 2019. This time when I see a SR-91 zipping overhead, I don't want someone to tell me I am seeing things. Been there, done that - back in 1970.  

Thank God it's over!

Trying to watch anything on TV right now is dang near impossible. I have the mute button on my remote almost worn off. I know, I know. I have read the statistics. Negative ads work. But when you have two ads back to back, for two competing candidates, where one is portrayed as Satan, and the other worse, some might wonder who in the heck to vote for. Meanwhile, you forget what the show or football game you were watching was all about. 

There is nothing left to do, nothing left to be said. I don't believe anyone in this state is still undecided on any race. They may say so, but I am not buying it. Not one bit. With hundreds of thousands of ballots already cast, the pundits are predicting this election will be one for the ages. Not the typical sleepy hollow midterm. This one might come close to Presidential election numbers. 

Even though I said there is nothing left to say, I do have one more thing to mention. Donald Trump. Love him or hate him, he brings people to the polls to vote. And do you know what? That is not a bad thing at all. I have mentioned this before. Donald Trump is not some kind of messiah. Not a bit. He was the right man for the right time. After his term(s) are over, there will be someone else who is "Trump-like" on the Right, and someone else who is "Obama-like" on the Left. And the nation will stay nicely and conveniently split, right down the middle. 

Why mention the obvious? As I have said in a previous post, this election will solve nothing. No matter who wins. If the Republicans prevail, the Democrats Resist! movement will double down for 2020. And if the Democrats flip the House, the patriots will have their own form of the "Resist" movement.

If the Democrats win the House, and/or take over Minnesota government, they have threatened to raise our taxes. If they do, get ready for a revolt in the manner of the Boston Tea Party. When taxes are raised, and then the money squandered by the government, then taxation really does become theft. People will not sit by and allow that to happen. If the Democrats want to sign over 100% of their paychecks to the state, go for it. But leave the patriots alone.

Hitting below the belt as the clock strikes twelve

"I have been involved in this campaign season now for almost two years. I have seen the highs and the lows. But I have never seen it as low as it is now. We have gone from a contest of ideas, to how much can we destroy people."

This morning, I turned on the local station to see just how "skunky" the weather was going to be today. My tablet was barely on, when a barrage of three very vile, very untrue commercials hit the airwaves. The first one was directed at Jim Hagedorn. How he was going to work to have our healthcare stripped of benefits people in need must have. I have been following that race down in CD 1. I have chatted with Jim during the state convention. I have NEVER heard Jim say anything remotely close to that.

The last commercial was against Doug Wardlow. About the fact he worked for a hateful organization which discriminates against gays and women. How we wants to ruin women's health care (huh?). Then to put a cherry on the topping, Doug wants to fire anyone who disagrees with him, and then back fill the office with his cronies. He will politicize the AG's office. More on this in a minute.

However the one which took the cake was the middle commercial. I had heard about it, but had not yet seen it as yet. It was about a young disabled man who was very worried. You see, he had heard that mean old Jeff Johnson was going to take his insurance away. Basically, with the needs this young man had, that might be a death sentence. I would like to say this commercial is a bald face lie, but there must be a term which is worse than lie. It take balls the size of Texas to put this filth on any type of media. This commercial is so far from the truth, it exists in another dimension. Whoever paid for this filth should be shackled,  and then shamed in the middle of town square.

The media and the Left would have loved to really take it to Jeff Johnson this past year using only the facts. Only problem is, the facts show Jeff to be anything but how they wanted to portray him. I know Jeff. I know how he lives his life. I know his values. He is a man of deep faith, yet does not proselytize his religion. He is a man of deep compassion, yet knows the boundaries the state should live by. He is a man of community service, yet is not a career politician. How to you counter a man who is as nice and honest as Jeff is? Hit below the belt. Lie like a rug. Try and destroy him.

One more word about Doug Wardlow. Doug's biggest sin in the eyes of the media as well as the Loony Left, is he is a Christian. The Left would have loved to go after Doug on his background, but just like Jeff, there is no "there, there". But working for a faith based organization, now there is something to go after. Especially a Christian one. However, here is the rub. If Doug worked for CAIR, he would have been immune. Hands off. It is only Christians these days, in our ever growing secular society, which have become punching bags. Or should I say, victims of being punched below the belt. 

I have been involved in this campaign season now for almost two years. I have seen the highs and the lows. But I have never seen it as low as it is now. We have gone from a contest of ideas, to how much can we destroy people. There is no apology big enough the DNC can give to Jeff, Doug and Jim for what they have done. They are shameful. If they win the day on Tuesday, their victory will ring hollow. And we will not forget. Ever.   

In this millennium, elections settle nothing!

"That brings us to today. Be it a Red victory, or a Blue victory, nothing will change. The anger and hatred will still exist. Maybe more so. Patriots will not accept populist gun grabbers, and statists will not accept founding principles."

Someone asked on a radio show the other day, when did all this dissension start around election time? The host never did give a straight answer. He hemmed and hawed a bit, and then gave some nebulous nonsense as a response. I was temped to call in. I believe I, along with many others on our side, know the answer to that question. It started with the dawning of the new millennium. 

The year was 2000. The election was Bush v. Gore. Many thought that Bush was just some hick Governor from Texas who had no right to seek this office. But - his daddy had been President, and that helped his pedigree.

Gore on the other hand, was going to be the third term of his former boss - Slick Willy. Because so many low information voters were cowed by the Clinton's for eight years, the odds makers were already giving this race to Gore. Then the unthinkable happened. The "hanging chad" issue in Florida issue. Then all of a sudden, this nation was in a real pickle.

After many weeks of torturous evaluation, and still no winner was declared. It was the closest Presidential race in just about forever. It finally had to go to the Supreme Court for adjudication. Once it was over, G. W. Bush was declared the 43rd President of the United States. And the Left HATED him for it! They hated our system for picking him. "Selected, not elected!" was the rant for many months after. Many, many on the Left said "NOT MY PRESIDENT!" For the eight years of Bush (43), the hate machine was turned on. Through terror attack, wars, or whatever - the Left HATED this man.

In 2008, Bush had served his two terms. A young and inexperienced mixed race Senator from the Land of Lincoln decided to run on the Democrat ticket. He beat the snot out of Hillary in the primary, and then went on to trounce McCain in the general. His message was that he was going to "unite" us. His actions, did anything but. Then for eight long years, it was the Right's turn to denounce this impostor in the White House.

Then came 2016. Those who thought the anger and discourse in our country could not get any worse, were in for a rude awakening. After eight years of "lead from behind" and let's "apologize for America" coming from the White House, the Red Team was ready for a "YUGE" change! So they nominated a business man, with one hell of a left hook, to take on the heir apparent - Hillary Clinton. 

While very few gave Trump a snowball's chance, someone forgot to tell that to the Donald. He won the electoral vote, and barely lost the popular vote. The Left was SEETHING! The hatred of Donald Trump actually eclipsed the hatred they had of Bush. To this day, the hatred of Trump by the Left is off the scales.

That brings us to today. Be it a Red victory, or a Blue victory, nothing will change after Tuesday. The anger and hatred will still exist. Maybe more so. Patriots will not accept populist gun grabbers, and statists will not accept founding principles. It will be deadlock, once again. Why? We have become two countries living within the same borders.

From a global perspective, what happens on Tuesday really does not matter. The losing side will not be content to lay down by the dog dish and be good. Not any more. This is the new norm folks. Get used to it. At one time, elections were the peaceful way to settle political differences. And today? Stay tuned. 

   

Is Minnesota lost?

"Walz and team however, continue to promise the un-deliverable treats. No worries however. The low information or no information voters will suck those promises right up." 

Trying to not be Mr. Doom and Gloom here. But I have to look at the dark side of the Moon every now and again. As much as I want a giant Red Tsunami next week, I have to face one awful possibility. That we might lose (again). And should that happen, here is a question that many will be asking - Is Minnesota lost? To that I would reply, "maybe so". 

I have said this for over a year now. The slate of candidates we have running this year is by far and away the best I have seen. Hands down. This is not saying the ones we have had in the past did not have it - they did. In fact, they were very good. This bunch however, is a cut above.

Let's look at Governor for example. I know the two people who ran the past three cycles. Tom Emmer (once) and Jeff Johnson (twice). Both of these men have exceptional pedigree. Great experience, and an excellent education. Both ran against two DFL sloths who just by their background alone, they should have smoked. The fact that this year's Governor's race is as close as it is, is jaw dropping. Walz has nothing to offer. He is an empty suit, just like Dayton is. Jeff Johnson should be ahead of Walz by double digits, and prepping his administration to be ready to go in January. 

The same with Attorney General. Doug Wardlow is one of the finest, most accomplished people to ever run for this spot. And who is he running against? One of the most flawed candidates in the history of candidates. Doug should be smoking Ellison like a cheap cigar right now. Ahead by double digits. Instead, this race also is tighter than a drum.

I have thought long and hard about this. We are throwing Minnesota's finest people on the MN GOP ballot this year. So whose fault will be it should we not carry the day on Tuesday? Not the candidates. They have all worked hard, delivered the message well, and traveled tens of thousands of miles. Then what would be the problem? Get ready, because this ain't pretty.

It is the good people of Minnesota. With the demographic shift over time, with the dumbing down of our young people in high schools and colleges, with the state turning into a nanny state, with the nine zillion refugees from other countries, our electorate has changed. We have more and more people who now live here which believe this state exists for nothing more than freebies.

The Democrats continue to stir the pot. They have been telling the masses that healthcare and affordable wages are a "right", not something you work for. The problem is, a big portion of the electorate believe this mumbo jumbo. In fact, many think our Constitution should be changed to include these new "rights" (among others).

I have said many times, it is hard to run against Santa Clause. All Jeff Johnson and the rest of the Red Team can promise is equal opportunity for all, and to ensure the state is not a stumbling block. Walz and his team however, continue to promise the un-deliverable treats. Two chickens in every pot and the kitchen sink to go with it. No worries however. The low information, and no information voters will suck those promises right up and keep pulling the blue lever every other year. 

I should clarify one thing before I sign off. Most of us already know this. There are hundreds of thousands of people in this state who really get it. Who understand freedom and how our government works. Who cherish liberty. Unfortunately, very few live in the Twin Cities. And have no doubt - it is the Twin Cities which keeps this state blue and dependent. Without the Twin Cities, Minnesota would not be perfect, but very close to it.  

Sensing a new frontier

"Next week we will know if Minnesota will be getting ready to travel in the new frontier, or if we will only have a new view of the same ditch we have been in. I choose the new frontier. Vote Jeff Johnson next Tuesday. Vote Red Team. To quote a famous football coach - 'Losing is not an option'." 

As a senior citizen who has lived most of his life in Minnesota, I am sensing something I have never sensed before. A new frontier. Minnesota, which has been stuck in a ditch for decades, is one the precipice of having something few, if any, have ever seen. A true conservative Governor working with a friendly Minnesota House and Senate. Not only that, but having people of integrity, acumen and honor who can clean out (and fumigate) the Attorney General's office, the State Auditor's office, and the Secretary of State's office. This is truly a new frontier.

Putting the Blue Kool Aide drinkers who live in the bowels of the Twin Cities aside, I have talked with many folks from all over the state. Many are sensing a seismic shift in Minnesota. A true revolt of the status quo. A chance to try something which could be the catalyst of many, many good things to come. Not a little bit of a change - but a game changer for all to benefit from.  

Those who have had the chance to really talk to Jeff Johnson face to face, to talk to him about his vision of the future for this state, cannot help seeing a glint in his eye. He gets truly excited talking about the future of Minnesota. He knows the course, and how to navigate it. But to quote Chris Christie, the former Governor of New Jersey, "You can't govern if you do not win." 

The statists and globalists who live in Minnesota want nothing to do with Jeff Johnson. They feel the last thing we need in charge of our government is an iconoclast. The normal folks, the patriots, the citizens, however - feel differently. Having a warmed over third term of Mark Dayton, headed up by a guy who is even more of a progressive than Dayton, would not change our view.  Rather than seeing a new frontier, we would be seeing more of the ditch. It would be like going from one flat tire to two of them.

It is now four days and counting. Many thousands have already voted. The experts are predicting the highest turnout for an off-year election for many decades. The time for money, negative ads, lit dropping, and yard signs is about over. It is now up to the voters. The Red Team has the numbers state wide to put Jeff Johnson, many of the constitutional office candidates, and our congressional and senate candidates in office. That is not hyperbole - this is cold hard fact.

Sharing the candy

"If this analogy was bit too corny for some, let me put it in the common man's, and adult type of vernacular. Inefficient and over taxation is nothing more than THEFT by the state. Efficient and frugal taxation is necessary to maintain the state."   

There is an old political joke about Halloween. It is a day to teach your kids about what Democrats do. When they come home from trick or treating, spread their candy out on a table. Then take 10%, and tell the kid this is for Johnny next door who does not like to go out trick or treating. Then take 30% for mom and dad. This is your rent for living here. Then take another 10% and put it in the cupboard. This is for later on when the rest of the candy is gone. For the remaining 50%, the kid may do with as he or she wishes.

In reality most kids would balk at such nonsense. It is their candy, they "earned it" by going door to door, so please just leave me alone! Now back to adulthood. Is that not what most elections are about? Sharing "the candy"? When I have heard about some of the spending plans the Democrats want to initiate should they grab the reigns of power, I shudder. Single Payer (aka "Medicare for All"), is a bank breaker. So where is the candy (money) coming from to pay for this?

First off - NOT the lower 50% of the income earners. They have been given a permanent pass years ago by the Democrats. They are just "free riders" on the system. So that just leaves the rest of us to figure out how to pay for this mess which most people don't want. Why do I say what "most people don't want"? This is really not "Medicare for all" - in reality it is the "VA for all".

This will be the final chapter in the Obama "Book or Lies". This chapter is called, "If you like your doctor, you can't keep your doctor. You will get, what you get". Actually, there is still something behind this final one. It is the epilogue. The title of which is being kept closely under wraps by the Blue Elite. Why? It will scare the pants of off most. It will cover the rationing of care to the eldest and sickest.

Anyhow, to pay for this, along with the numerous new LRT's which the Democrats want to build, the costs will bust the bank. There is not enough candy in the world to pay for all of this. So we will borrow (again), and let our kids and grandies worry about it. Rather than try and unhook us from the quicksand of ObamaCare, we are going to double down and take it to the next level. We will now have Euro style heath care, with all the sky high costs and inadequate care which go with it. 

Someone asked me awhile back, what the biggest difference was between the two parties. As tempted as I was to say, "these days, not much", I answered from a classical viewpoint. I said the Democrats believe all money belongs to the state (the commonwealth), and the state may take as much as need be. Republicans on the other hand, believe our money is our money. And money WE decide to give to the state, is not unlimited, and should be used in the most efficient manner. And that is where the battle remains today.

Next Wednesday, we will know how much of our candy will be allowed to keep. Should Tim Walz win the day, and bring the House with him, the answer will be "not much". We will all be in deep do-do. If however, you believe any money you have earned is yours, and our government will be frugal and efficient in how much they need, vote for Jeff Johnson. Plus - keep the House and Senate (with that one contested seat) - Red.
