Oh NATO - where art thou?

Anyhow, welcome to our NATO friends. Enjoy the city, enjoy the weather, and most of all, enjoy the show. Show? What show? Us. The United States. Biden's America. All we can hope is this too, shall pass. 

Get ready! This is the week! The huge NATO get together in Washington. And there are many things to discuss. And one thing to observe. Observe? Yes, the "leader of the free world". Uncle Joe. Like, how is he? Is he with us or is he still chasing Corn Pop around the high school gym? There should be bigger fish to fry. Ukraine. Putin. China. Iran. But instead, the center of concern will also me the master of ceremonies. Joe Biden. Our own "scrappy kid from Scranton".

Is Joe really, okay? Is he fit to be Commander in Chief? Is he fit to be the "leader of the free world"? Is he fit to take out the trash? The fact that so many are concerned about his mental fitness right now, reminds me of a discussion I had many years ago. It had to do with honesty. What is almost as bad as being dishonest, is others having the impression that you are dishonest. In other words, there may be a sliver of hope that Biden is fit as a fiddle, but most don't believe it. And that is a HUGE problem.

By the way, since Biden has decided to "slow walk" some of our promised weapons to Ukraine, Putin has decided to up his game (so to speak). Putin has decided that in the absence of upgraded Patriot systems (as well as other systems), this would be a great time to send in waves of missiles into urban areas. Hit hospitals and schools, as to break the will of the people. But is that right? To go after civilians? Sure, if you live inside of Putin's head. Keeping warfare only between soldiers is only for suckers (according to Putin). Scorched Earth - that is Putin's mantra.

There is only one thing that Putin hates more than Ukraine right now, and that is NATO. He would love to go toe to toe with NATO, especially now, with the United States having an empty suit at the helm. Which country in Europe would be the first to feel Putin's wrath should he decide to make a play for NATO? My guess would be Poland, although with Duda in charge of Poland right now, Putin might find he has a tiger by the tail. 

One general was on the news recently, admonishing Biden for not talking to Putin in over two years. "When you are president, it is not only important that you talk to your friends, but also your advisories." Wait - our "scrappy kid from Scranton", the one who "beat the hell out of the racist Corn Pop", is he afraid of Putin? Are you yellow, Joe? You know Joe, Putin is like a shark. He can smell fear. And your fear of Putin, stinks.

Our open door

"In all my decades of life, I have never seen America look like this. So vulnerable, so open. Having Joe Biden in charge was supposed to be like having the adults back in charge. Well, lessons learned on that one. Having the Party of Marx in charge of our country has been a huge mistake."

Feel it yet? That feeling of being exposed? To what you might ask. To danger. To the outside world, which is now loaded with bad people and bad governments. The once invincible United States is anything but invincible. We are vulnerable - by the intentional design of one of our major political parties. Make no doubt about this. It is not conjecture nor hyperbole. It is the sad and very ominous truth. The Democrat Party has left us naked, scared and alone. And until the next government is sworn in (in January 2025), we are all in danger. Gave, maybe mortal danger.

As I have addressed MANY times before, part of us having an open door to our safety is our wide-open borders. This has not in the past, nor does it right now, make any sense. None. But we have. And now there are millions of people, some vetted, most not, running around our country. Are some here to do us harm? We hope not, but the odds of at least 1% of these 10 million people being "dirty" are almost absolute. Then why would the Democrats intentionally open us up to all this needless danger? Votes. Power. It is as simple as that.

But just recently we saw the other reason the open door to our safety exists. When the Democrats nominated (and then many sheeple elected) Joe Biden, he was already over the hill and somewhat nutty. Today however, Joe Biden is nothing more than a train wreck. Doctors much smarter than I have weighed in on Joe's condition. Dementia. And dementia is a disease which is progressive. In other words, the Joe Biden we see now is in much better shape than the Joe Biden we will see a year from now. Let that thought marinate for a while.  

And yet many Democrats want Joe to run for another four years. Although some (finally) are asking Joe to step down, the majority seem to be just fine with this empty suit running our country. Ladies and gentlemen - I need to be Captain Obvious for just a second - unlike Russia, China, North Korea or Iran, we have nobody running our country. We are adrift. We are an open target for anybody. Ronald Reagan's "peace through strength" has been replaced with "come on is and take what you want."

Law and order continue to dissolve internally also. INYMI, this weekend there were ANOTHER 100 shootings in Chicago with 17 of those being fatal. This is the city in a bit over a month will host the DNC convention. Closer to home, the citizens in many neighborhoods in Minneapolis are crying ENOUGH as feral youth continue to roam the streets, shooting lethal fireworks at cars, people and police. Why? To get "clicks" on Tic Tok. Meanwhile, some areas of town look like war zones.

In all my decades of life, I have never seen America look like this. So vulnerable, so open. Having Joe Biden in charge was supposed to be like having the adults back in charge. Well, lessons learned on that one. Having the Party of Marx in charge of our country has been a huge mistake. How much so? Vladimir Putin looks at America now and laughs. Calls us a "fading power". 

Maybe Putin is right. We are fading. But we are fading by our own hand. Our own design. America, this is what we voted for. Please let this be an indelible lesson. We must remember what our DOI said in its closing - ..."we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor". Wise words back then. But our framers said nothing back then about putting the nation at risk to garner more political gain.

If we can survive until January, we must ensure, promise ourselves and each other, that this CAN NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN.  

Coming in August! Chicago 2.0! Yikes!

"What about the MAGA types? The 'Chistian Nationalists'? The normal folks? The patriots? What are they going to do on August 19th? I fit into those above listed categories. What am I going to do? Turn on the TV and pop some popcorn. When Democrats fight Democrats, it is always good theater." 

Some of us old geezers were around in 1968. I had just graduated from high school and was trying to figure out the rest of my life. The politics of the day had little interest to me - all I knew was it was a mess. Viet Nam had left a mark on then president LBJ. So much so, he decided not to seek a second term. But Viet Nam had not just left a mark on LBJ - it stained much of our country. In particular, young draft aged boys to men. 

The country was already a cauldron in 1968. Martin Luther King had been assassinated in April. Bobby Kennedy was gunned down in June. LBJ was not running, and with Bobby dead, many peaceniks now wanted Eugene McCarthy to be our next president. To top things off, Viet Nam was still killing our young boys. The stage was set for a Democratic convention like no other. And the expectations did not disappoint. What happened in Chicago is now history, and not good history at that.

Flash forward to today. The dust has settled in Chicago, and I would like to say the blood has been washed from the streets. But it has not. Chicago remains a shooting gallery with hundreds of young black boys being killed every year by other young black boys. Why? Chicago remains under the boot heel of Democrat control. They let crime run free. A nut ball named Brandon Johnson is the mayor (he is actually worse than the last one), and some trust fund baby named J. B. Pritzker is the governor of the state. Both statists, loons and longtime members of the DNC cabal. Meanwhile, the blood continues to run down the gutters of Chicago.

How are the politics today, with the next Chicago DNC convention right around the corner? Not like 1968, but not good either. Bobby Kennedy is no longer around, but his kid is. And RFK Jr, even with his very strong pedigree, has been excluded from the DNC dance. The Obama/Biden machine decided they wanted nothing to do with Bobby Jr, so he was exiled to run as a third-party candidate. Joe Biden has the primary votes to be the standard-bearer for the party, but there is only one problem - Biden does not know if it is Tuesday or Thursday. And now, after that first Biden/Trump debate, most everyone knows that about good old Joe.

The DNC convention starts on August 19th - a scant 43 days away. All the ingredients are there for a brokered convention. Maybe a violent convention. Will Joe Biden still be a candidate on August 19th? Will someone talk him into quitting? Will the "team" pull the Amendment 25 lever? Will some fools decide that Kamala would be better than Joe? What about some of the statist governors who are waiting in the wings? Questions, questions, questions.

Finally, what about the MAGA types? The "Chistian Nationalists"? The normal folks? The patriots? What are they going to do on August 19th? I fit into those above categories. What am I going to do? Turn on the TV and pop some popcorn. When Democrats fight Democrats, it is always good theater. 

 

Our invisible president

"The invisible president can run (ruin) the country from the bowels of the White House, but when Joe is out in the open, he is on his own. The Republicans in the House (and in the Senate once it changes hands in November), will be all over this invisible president issue. If Biden is re-elected, all hell will break lose in Washington." 

I think we have all heard this enough by now. At first, it was just a voice calling in the wilderness. Now it is almost a cacophony of voices, coming from all over the country. What became crystal clear to many (estimated to be 50,000,000 watching) during the first presidential debate, the country is being run by someone other than Joe Biden. Well, out with it then! Who is it? Who has our future, our safely, our liberty (what is left of it) in his or her hands? That is the $64,000 question.

It has recently dawned on me what the Democrat plan is. Sure, some are stepping out in courage and saying the party needs a new torch bearer. A new standard-bearer. Joe, who is showing off his new George Montgomery like tan, showed up on George Steffy-what-is-his-name show for an interview. When asked about some of his party's defections, the ones wanting someone other than Joe Biden, his response was simple. "Only God can tell me when to leave". I guess not only do we now have a dictator, but also a pope.

Back to the Democrat's plan. Keep Joe propped up, even if Red Bull is not enough to do the trick. Wheel him into the next debate if necessary. Have him wired for sound, so his team can whisper him answers. Make it through the debate looked better than in the first debate, and then on to the election in November. Let early voting and as well as the suspect voting machines do the rest. Get Biden elected for a second term, and then the invisible president will keep on running the country.

Come on man! This can't be real! It sounds more like a Tom Clancy novel than our reality! Be that as it may, this is Biden 2.0. He looks and acts nothing like Biden 1.0, and most of us did not like that version either. BTW - as an aside, there is a NATO meeting coming up shortly. Many are wondering how Joe looks in front of our NATO allies. All I can say is this - when Joe started to wonder off during the G7 meeting, and the Italian PM had to grab him and turn him the right way to where the action was - the look on her face was a kodak moment. It was a look of distain or almost disgust. Like - she was tired of being Joe's babysitter.

Are we in for a bumpy ride until November? I could ask Joe Biden, but I don't understand him when he mumbles or talks in Kamala like word salad. And that is the world we now live in.   

Ready, set, CHARGE! (With some water on the side, please!)

"Ready, set, CHARGE! Is this what 'Build, back better' was all about? How about if we used our heads once in a while, before we spent so much (money we don't have) as to really screw up our economy. We need more energy, and we need more sources of fresh water. Period. Without that, our prowess in the exciting new field of AI, might just be very limited."   

I am going to get very real for this post. Not that I have not been real in the past, but this issue has been gnawing at me for some time now. It really is not going to matter a whit who is our next president, or if Biden is wheeled in to take his oath for another term. What is coming is something which needs to be addressed rather than just blown off. Blown off? What say you, Bird? This issue is uncomfortable to talk about. But it is coming - no matter who is president.

Energy. Our grid. As if it is not taxed enough right now, with the passage of the Chips Act, as well as the normal growth in the computer chip industry, we are going to need a boat load of water. Why? The manufacturing process of chip making demands ultimate cleanliness. So much so, water will be needed to constantly clean the surface of the chips being manufactured. Is this really that big of a problem? For the new TSMC mega plant being built in Arizonia it sure is. But who cares? Arizona has plenty of water - right? WRONG!

The water issue to build these new chips is only thing one which is wrong. With the proliferation of AI technology, and the demand for better and faster AI chips, the power required to run the data farms will be enormous. So much so, some futurists are thinking each data farm will require its own mini nuke plant. But - we don't have any of these new mini nuke plants. Can't we just use our current grid? Nope. Not with the coming demand of EVs and as well as our normal usage. And lest we forget, Joe Biden is closing down our coal and oil industry in favor of "green technology". And "green technology" might be decades away from being a major energy player. 

Speaking of being decades away from a mature technology, the EV battery issue is still a big problem. Our variable weather has shown that extreme cold or extreme heat are not good at all for maximum battery life. Plus (and this is a really killer), if too many EVs are plugged into the grid at one time for charging, it might over-tax the grid whereas brown outs or black outs would follow.

Our warfare on lawfare

"Soon after November, the disinfectant of change will pour over Washington like the cleansing of a spring rain. All the crap, the cancer, the corruption, will start to wash away. If the Democrats don't like it, they can all go to California and start their own country." 

Yesterday, SCOTUS finally spoke on the Presidental immunity issue. Did you hear the wailing and the gnashing of teeth from the loony left? "The Supreme Court just gave us a king and not a president!", one idiot shouted. Then AOC, the most renown bartender turned legal scholar we have, declared, "We need to impeach the Supreme Court!" Huh?

So, what did really happen with some of the historic ruling's SCOTUS made this session? It told Jack Smith and others, to knock it off. The court is wise to what is going on. And what is going on? Lawfare, pure and simple. Lawfare perpetrated by the loony left for only one reason - to gut Donald Trump of any chances of seeing the White House again. And why is that? Because they can't beat Trump at the ballot box. Plus, Trump can cure the cancer which has affected out government. He can drain the swamp. He can end the Democrat tyranny and replace it with our Republic, once again.

Last evening, they woke up Joe Biden and wheeled him into the press arena to explain to us that Democrats are now going to declare war on the Supreme Court. Maybe pack it. Who knows? All the Democrats know right now, is the once reliable left leaning Supreme Court is now rendering judgements on fact, and not fiction - and the Democrats don't like that. The Supremes have told Jack Smith and Garland to "pound sand", in so many words.

By the way, just as an aside, was it not Joe Biden who also told the Supreme Court to "pound sand" when the court said Biden had no authority to forgive student debt? Funny how that works out. Here is the issue - the Democrats must really think we are stupid, not to see the dangerous game they are playing. Well, we are not stupid, and can see every move. We understand "lawfare" and what it is doing to innocent people in our country. 

A word of additional commentary. Seeing how the two sides on our country reacted to the recent decisions by the court, only solidifies how divided our country really is right now. We are as divided as the east is from the west. Is there any way to mend our country, to "rebind" it so to speak? I doubt it. Just as there are two Dakotas and two Carolinas, there will soon be two Americas. And at this point, I am just fine with that.

The normal folks will retain the title of The United States of America for their country. The new Democrat country can be known for what it really is - The Un-tied States of America. There - problem solved. No more lawfare for normal folks.        

Selfish and short-sighted (but what's new?)

Biden's former babysitter, now is wife, is a piece of work. Like most Democrats, her thirst for power is unquenchable. She is without a doubt, one of the most selfish people in the national spotlight. Why? For what she is doing to Joe. For what she is doing to our country. 

A brief aside for a moment. Don't worry - I will come back to Jill. The airwaves have been filled with Democrat pundits, telling us not to worry about Joe's disaster on the debate stage. "He is fine - really. He is not dropping out, as he is the only one who can beat (again) Donald Trump". Huh? That is the only reason to vote for an incompetent boob like Joe? That he might be able to beat Donald Trump? Unbelievable.

A second aside for a second. Do you hear about France? The rising surge of the right? Rumor has it the White House is worried sick about some of our allies going "right". That it could also come to our country in November. DUH! Get ready for it Democrats, because that is exactly what is coming. The pendulum has swung back, and it is time to put you ancient hippies out to pasture.

Back to Jill. Let's suppose for a minute, they get enough stimulants in Joe to get him over the finish line, and he beats Trump. Then what? What is over the horizon? Four more years of falling apart? Four more years of our allies wondering what has happened to us. Four more years of the new Axis of Evil walking all over us? Being President is hard work. It ages people. It changes people. Look at Obama. Came in as a young kid and went out grayer than a ghost. It has turned Biden into a puddle of mush.
