This is a sprint for Joe Biden's handlers. How much of America can they muck up before January 20th. It is almost like they want to "burn it all down" in the next two weeks. Biden is signing a blizzard of executive orders, all intended to make life miserable for Donald Trump. The problem is this - most of what Biden is doing right now will make things miserable for Americans. Donald Trump, our Mountain King, will fix as many of these poison pen documents as he can once he is sworn in. Will these churlish endeavors stop the Trump Train. No, but they will make things harder and slower.
This type of sophomoric behavior reminds me of the days leading up to G.W. Bush being sworn in. The Clinton crowd thought it would be great fun to remove all the "W" keys off the typewriters. Why would they do something as childish as that? Because Democrats do not like to share power. When the Republicans regain power, the Democrats do everything possible to minimize that power. Why? Because they are adolescences at heart.
The good news I heard as of late is it appears that Pete Hegseth has cleared the gate and will be approved by the Senate. If that is true, it is great news. The DOD is a mess right now, similar to the disrepair it was in after the Carter regime. Pete is a smart guy and knows how to do the right thing when needed. He will surround himself with DOD SME types and will lead them well. Our numbers will come back up as people will want to join and stay in our military again. Besides Hegseth, we need all of Trump's picks approved by the Senate ASAP.
BTW - the trip to Mar-a-Lago by Justin Trudeau did not seem to help him much. After Trump played with young Justin a bit by calling him "Governor Trudeau", Justin went limping home back to Canada. That is when reality set in. He was toast. So yesterday, he resigned. Good for Canada. Now let's get a real leader in there. One like Trump. Before we know it, our new Lion King may not have Canada and Greenland as a part of the USA, but they will sure look like it!
One more thing. The incoming Lion King is sending Don Jr. over to Greenland this week. Nothing official - just a sightseeing trip. What is really happening? Priming the pump so to speak. Donald Trump is a master at this kind of stuff. Heads up Panama - you are also on the Lion King's radar.
