Godly issues, Godly candidates

I had this one all written yesterday, and then deleted it. I did not feel it was passionate enough. Not strong enough. So, I chatted with a friend of mine yesterday (very smart politically, and a rock hard Christian), and discussed the following premise. Should people of God be concerned about Godly issues when they vote? And as such, should they want to vote for Godly candidates who are concerned about Godly issues? I think yes. My friend also thought yes. In fact, we agreed if all the people in this country, who profess to be people of God, voted that way, the President, as well as many other candidates on the religious right, would win in a landslide.

Think of this. In 2016, Hillary Clinton received about 65,000,000 votes (but did not win the electoral count). If in 2020, if every Catholic (who are taught to abhor abortion), voted for Donald Trump, he would win. Why? There are almost 80,000,000 Catholics in the United States.

Now we will go one step further. If every person who calls themselves a follower of Christ voted AGAINST abortion (that would be against the Democrats, who support abortion), this nation would see the biggest landslide victory - ever. Why? There are 205,000,000 Christians in the United States.

In the Old Testament Book of Ezekiel, (22:30), is one of the more frequently used verses. It contains a lot of wisdom, and should be used as a guiding light for us all.

I believe right now, our country is at a tipping point. We have been richly blessed by God for almost 250 years. Our country was founded on Godly principals by Godly people. However, as of late, many seem willing to forget our Creator, and worship the created. Worship self. Kill our unborn with not only great abandon, but sometimes pride. 

This election, as in any election, it is incumbent upon people of God to vote for Godly candidates. Candidates who will practice the basic tenets of the Holy Bible. One of the first questions I ask a candidate (if I don't know much about him or her), is abortion acceptable. If I get an answer even remotely similar to "right to choose", I bid that person a good day. But before that person leaves, I would explain that to me, as a follower, abortion is evil. Period. 

One of my friends who lives on the left always reminds me that Republicans may protect the unborn, but then once a person is born, they don't care for them anymore. Republicans are not "their brother's keepers", whereas Democrats are. To that I say BUNK. That is not true. What is true, is that Republicans don't believe in wasteful government spending. What is true, is that Republicans don't believe in "free riders", when a person is able to produce. But when it comes to charity for the least of us, most Republicans are very generous givers. They just don't broadcast it.

Standing in the gap. I will. I will join those who vote for Godly people that have Godly values to serve this great country. To keep this country Godly. But the gap is big and growing. We need people of God to step into the gap with us. Then when God looks in the gap, instead of "seeing none", let's hope the Good Lord sees many.  

Biden "code speak" ?

I watched a little bit of the dueling town halls last night. What a joke! For those too young to remember, George Snuffleupagus was a part of Clinton's "War Room" during the Clinton Administration. He is a Democrat hack. Has been his entire life. The questions for Biden were so easy, so softball, I thought George might offer to give him a massage to relax him further. 

Then switching over to NBC was like a repeat of watching Chris Wallace grill the President during the last debate. Savannah Guthrie from MSNBC fame as well as NBC, is not now, nor never has been, a fan of any Republican. So unlike the silky smooth treatment that ABC was giving Biden, Guthrie took this opportunity to debate the President. No - wait! This was suppose to be a town hall! Yes it was. But instead of being a moderator, Guthrie instead chose to be a participant. 

On NBC, Guthrie was pounding the President on his tax returns (boring). On ABC, George was pounding Biden about his son, Hunter. Really? No - just kidding. Nary a peep about Hunter. Do you think if the shoe was on the other foot, and there were serious allegations about Don Jr., that Guthrie would have let that slide? Not in a million years.

However, there was nugget which came out of the ABC town hall. Court packing. I think Biden tipped his hand with some "code speak". When pressed about court packing, Biden again side stepped the question. "I will give an answer before people vote", Biden said (again). Hey Joe! In some states, 20% of the people have already voted early! Biden went on to say (my paraphrase), "We will see how this thing plays out before I make a decision." Plays out"? What plays out? Simple answer = if Amy Coney Barrett gets confirmed by the Republican led Senate, and then becomes the 9th Justice.

Here is what will happen if Biden gets elected. Before Harris and Pelosi deep six him using the 25th Amendment, Biden will 1) raise everyone's taxes, 2) increase the number of Supreme Court Justices to 15, 3) open our borders, 4) highly regulate US businesses (again), 5) expand ObamaCare, 6) send Minnesota $500,000,000 to pay for Democrat caused damages during the Floyd riots. Plus - you will never hear a peep again about how a corrupt and damaged Hunter Biden became enriched during the "pay for play" days of Obama/Biden. 

Final thought. The way our media (or what was once known as media), has sided 100% percent of the time with the Democrats, is like a dystopian novel written by George Orwell. This should not be real life - if should be fiction. But it is not. If Trump wins re-election, expect more of the same out of the media - maybe worse. If Biden should win, the media will instantly transform from pit bulls, to puppy dogs. #FACT.    

A non-endorsement in the 6th? What?

"I have known Tom Emmer for a while now. Unless he is on drugs, or been captured by aliens, I can't imagine him trying to sell this mess in Minneapolis to anybody, especially our President." 

The Strib still has not endorsed one Republican for the general election. In a related story, water is wet. The thing which was a mic dropper this year, is the fact the Strib will not endorse Tom Emmer for re-election. And why is that? Bottom line? They don't like Tom Emmer because he is not "Democrat" enough for the statists and socialists on the editorial board. The person running against him (a woman whose name I can't pronounce or spell) did not get endorsed either. 

What the Governor of Minnesota wanted this year, what the Mayor of Minneapolis wanted this year, what the MN DFL wanted this year, and what the Star and Tribune wanted this year is simple. They wanted Emmer to use his good and trusting relationship with the President to convince him to send aid to Minnesota. Aid? For? To fix all the things the Democrats broke during the Floyd riots. 

I have known Tom Emmer for a while now. Unless he is on drugs, or been captured by aliens, I can't imagine him trying to sell this mess in Minneapolis to anybody, especially our President. He did not argue against it, nor did he advocate for it. As far as the Strib is concerned, that was his major sin. To add to this infraction, the Strib also thought Emmer could have advocated for more Covid funding. So could have Smith and Phillips - and yet they got endorsed. But - they are not Republicans. So they are forgivable.

BTW - there was no endorsement in the 5th either. Huh? A quality guy like Lacy Johnson should have been endorsed. The list of sins that Omar has created is long and ugly. Plus - there is the recent revelation by Project Veritas on ballot harvesting. That had ties right back to Omar. Couple that with marriage fraud, immigration fraud and so forth, the Strib could have endorsed Bozo the Clown over Omar. But she is not a Republican. 

Some might be wondering why I am addressing this issue and not the Hunter Biden slop. Trust me - I will. But I am going to wait for a bit until some more comes out. This could be the stinky turd the Democrats have been fearing. This scandal has legs, very long legs, so even if Biden is elected, this will following him like his shadow. And unlike the Russia Hoax, this could kill a Biden Presidency. 

Well enough for now. Time to go vote in an hour or two. I know who I am voting for. Many, I know personally. Most are Godly people. Good people. Tom Emmer is a good person. Not perfect, but good. If I wanted to vote for a perfect candidate, I would never vote. Why? Perfect candidates do not exist. Somebody needs to tell that to the Strib. 

Two Amy's - One has class, one is an ass...

"Amy Klobuchar - I am so very glad your campaign fizzled. You are a bad Senator, and would make even a worse President. Amy Barrett - thank you for putting up with all this crap. You will make the Supreme Court even better."  

After yesterday, one thing became abundantly clear. This judge and professor, who President Donald Trump has nominated to be on the Supreme Court, is clearly a cut above the rest. And - this woman, Amy Comey Barrett, ran rings around the Democrats on the Judiciary Committee. In fact (not my words, but I wish they were), she made the Democrats "look small". 

It was like watching Mohmmad Ali during his heyday when he would "rope a dope" an opponent. Ali was so much better than many of his opponents, quite often the fight looked like Ali was just "playing with them". That is how Judge Barrett looked when she was fielding questions from the Democrats. Yes, she was that much smarter, and classier.

I was trying to figure out which Democrat Senator looked the most foolish. Tough call. Our own hotdish queen is certainly in the running. She gave a great performance - an acting performance that is. Quivering voice, pictures of constituents on tag board, sob stories. And the best part - talking down to this most qualified woman. Hotdish Amy, acted like - well, an ass. Seeing her interact with Judge Barrett, was like watching a petulant child (Klobuchar), back talk to a very wise adult (Barrett). 

The "rope a dope" lasted most of the day. Not only did Judge Barrett sit there calm, cool and collected, so did six of her children! They sat and listened, even to the insipid things which were said at times. Like what? Like when the self professed, smartest woman in the world (Senator Hirono), asked Judge Barrett if she ever raped anyone. Huh? Was this a question left over from the Kavanaugh hearings? I mean, COME ON MAN! 

Then when many of these super lifers in the Senate tried to trip Judge Barrett up by getting her to comment on cases or take positions, she invoked the "Ginsburg rule". Remember Justice Ginsburg? RBG? During her hearings, nobody questioned her on her Jewish faith. And even though EVERYONE knew she was very liberal, she was still confirmed 97 to 3. Anyhow, for a Democrat Senator to try and beat back the "Ginsburg rule", would have discredited the former justice whom many are now trying to canonize. 

It will be interesting to see if ANY Democrats in the Senate vote for Judge Barrett's confirmation. If the vote is strictly along party lines like Justice Kavanaugh's was, the Democrats have just set the bar at a new low for future confirmations. Like if there is a President Biden (or Harris), and there is an opening on the court - good luck getting any Republicans to vote for that pick(s). No, the days of getting numerous Republicans to vote for a Democrat nominee (like with Ginsburg (97-3), Sotomayor (68-31) and Kagan (63-37)) - are over. Now instead of civics, getting on the Supreme Court will be a blood sport.

Amy Klobuchar - I am so very glad your campaign fizzled. You are a bad Senator, and would make even a worse President. Amy Barrett - thank you for putting up with all this crap. You will make the Supreme Court even better.  

 

Do the crime, never do the time...

I am going to give a rare shout out to the Democrats and socialists. Because of your hate mongering for our President, and the continual slop and crap you have thrown at him on a daily basis, you have obfuscated justice. What should have been a non-stop perp walk under the Trump DOJ, has not even turned into a slap on the wrist. If for some reason, the minions vote in Biden instead of giving the President a second term, many of the guilty will simply walk free.

For those of us who are law and order types, this is totally unsat. It really is. It violates all the tenets of justice as well as fairness. All the crapola which went on under the Obama Administration, the sullied and despicable nature of the Clintons, and of course, the Deep State - will all get swept under the rug if we have a President Biden and/or Harris. We will go back to a two tiered system of justice (or lack thereof). 

Even locally, the ballot harvesting which was exposed recently by Project Veritas, seems to be slipping quietly into the night. Many of the hoodlums which were arrested for looting and burning in many of the large cities, have been released with no charges. And who released them with no charges? Very liberal and/or socialists DAs. Sick of this yet? I sure am. And there is no end in sight for these acts of injustice. 

I know the President has been very frustrated with AG Barr. So have many of the rest of us. We really thought after the Mueller fiasco was over, the DOJ IG report would have named names. But it has not. All the wrong doing in the past four or five years, as well as the wrong doing under Obama, is giving the middle finger to justice. "Screw you! Catch me it you can!" It is beyond frustrating - it is infuriating. 

This is why so many people have decided if Biden wins the election, they are simply going to "check out". Instead of screaming at the sky, yelling obscenities, or crying like the lefties did when Trump won in 2016, many of the citizens and patriots will simply not recognize a President Biden and Vice President Harris as being legitimate. They will not recognize our government as being socialist. And they certainly will not recognize a return to a two tiered system of justice.

"Do the crime, never do the time." I hate that. I hate we have that in our country right now. We need four more years of Donald Trump to start fixing this. If not, this party might be over.     

The Strib strikes again!!!

Just when you thought it might be safe to go into the water, it is not. Our local newspaper is not yet finished with making a fool of itself. This time with another wacky endorsement. As us local types know, Tina Smith first came to Washington by a fluke. This former director of Minnesota's Planned Parenthood (yes, the baby killing factory), was appointed by then Governor Mark "Goofy" Dayton. He thought she would be an excellent replacement, after Crazy Al Franken had some alleged groping issues, and needed to resign. 

Now Smith is up for re-election. She is running on her record. I'm sorry - what exactly is her record, other than being a rubber stamp vote for Chucky Schumer? Bottom line - she is like Biden. In the Senate, neither Biden nor Smith have done spit. Oh she talks a good game through her cloth mask - but it is just sound and fury. Her real record however, is the one she amassed at Planned Parenthood. If we had a media worth anything, I bet there are gruesome tales to tell from that place! 

The man whom is challenging her, is well known to many in this state. I have met him (more than once), and I have a friend who knows him quite well. Jason Lewis is an intellectual giant. I know that sounds odd, but he really is. He is wicked smart, on a great many issues. But knowing our Constitution and system of government, is where he really shines. He can run circles around most who serve in Washington. Putting him up against Tina Smith is unfair to Tina. Yes, Jason is that much smarter. 

I listened to Jason when he was on the radio for many a year. He was entertaining, smart, and glib. His nickname was well deserved - "Mr. Right". But just like with Jeff Johnson, who was probably the most qualified man to run for Governor in a long, long time, the Strib snubbed Jason, just like they did Jeff. Why? The Strib loves DFL tools like Omar, Frey, Walz and Smith. They don't rock the boat. They are team players, for the establishment. Because of people like them, we have the state's largest city which is barely habitable, and sky high taxes for just about everyone who works. PLUS - they all support Slo Joe, who has promised to take our taxes even higher.

Right now, we have an excellent slate of candidates running for many important offices. Besides the re-election of President Donald Trump, we have Jim Hagedorn in CD 1, Tyler Kistner in CD 2, Kendall Qualls in CD 3, Lacy Johnson in CD 5, Tom Emmer in CD 6, Pete Stauber in CD 8, and Jason Lewis for US Senate. Electing or re-electing these fine folks would do quite a bit for our state. But most of these folks, the Strib can't stand. Why? They are iconoclasts. They will overturn the tables which exist in the Deep State. In other words, they will get stuff done.

These days, getting a non-endorsement from the Strib is like a badge of honor with the citizens and patriots. We know that our fine candidates which do NOT get endorsed by this fish wrap newspaper must be doing something right. November cannot come soon enough.     

 

A shocking endorsement!

Here is a fact. Nobody with more than 5% of a brain, believes ANY of the media is unbiased today. And the Strib is now, and always has been, one of the worst.

This morning, I about fell out of my chair! As I was looking at some of the online news, the local fish wrap newspaper popped up. Even though the election is still three weeks away, the Strib editorial board has made its pick. And I was shocked! I mean, this paper is the same one which endorsed our current Governor, because they said he would be so good for Minnesota. And we all know how that worked out. And in 2016, it endorsed Hillary, because she would be good for America. Like she was good for the health and well being of Ambassador Stevens. Yes, this morning the Strib endorsed Slo Joe Biden.

I did not read the article. I did not have to. I can almost imagine what it said. The title was something like Biden would "Ignite and reunite America". Huh? Like when he and his wingman Obama divided us like the San Andreas Fault? Tell me Joe, what has changed since the last time you were part of the administration? I mean, besides the fact you have gotten goofier, more touchier to the ladies, and a heck of a lot more confused.

Here is a fact. Nobody with more than 5% of a brain, believes ANY of the media is unbiased today. And the Strib is now, and always has been, one of the worst. I would say it is run by a bunch of Commies, but that is an insult to Communists. The editorial board at this paper is way, way beyond what you have in Pravda. They have hated Donald Trump ever since he announced. And - when he started to dissect the Deep State and drain the swamp, then he became more than hated and loathed. He was an iconoclast, a bull in the China shop, one who was turning over the tables in the temple. In short, he was fixing what had been broken for a long, long time.

What will a Biden Administration do then? Nothing. Nothing except more of the same crap he did when he was hooked up with Obama. More taxes, more regulations, more abortions, more illegal immigration, more lawyers, more judges and justices on our courts, and on and on. All the good that Donald Trump has worked so hard to obtain, will be wiped out in a heartbeat. And then when the Article 25 thing which Ms. Nancy is working on kicks in, we will have President Harris, with a selected Vice President like AOC. 

One more endorsement which is equally as shocking. Gretta, who is not even from here, is also endorsing Slo Joe. Why? HOW DARE SHE NOT! Joe will fix the climate by putting us back in the stone age. What the pandemic could not do, Biden's economic plan will finish.

There you have it. Another fine piece of editorial nonsense from the Strib. The best thing about this hometown newspaper, is their editorial opinions start on the front page, and continue on from there. And that is why, so many citizens and patriots HATE that poor excuse for a newspaper. Glenn Taylor should be ashamed.
