Now - let the games begin!

"I would also like to see Tom Cotton as Secretary of Defense (Why? He gets it!), Chris Christie or Ted Cruz as Attorney General (back to a one-tiered system of justice), and Jared Kushner as Secretary of State. Why Trump's son-in-law? What Kushner did in pulling together the almost impossible Abraham Agreements was nothing short of miraculous."

Super Tuesday has come and gone. The predicted bloodbath did really happen. Although Nikki Hally did win Vermont. Wait - is Vermont the home of Ben + Jerry's Ice Cream? Enough said. Any state who can house commies like those two, probably are not Trump folks anyhow. And Vermont - who needs you anyhow?

This morning at 9am our time, Nikki Haley is going to drop out. She now understands what most of the Republican Party has known for a while now. This is Donald Trump's party. Will it be in 2028? Nope - but it is in 2024. Will Nikki endorse Donald Trump? Unknown. I hope she does, as if she does not, that will only hurt Nikki. Team Trump is rolling down the tracks, and only Joe Biden is in Trump's sights right now. And he is focused on Biden like a laser beam.

The irony of this election is the lack of effort Trump will need to come with a rock-solid platform to use against Biden. Trump will not need to put together a team of strategists - Biden has done the work for him. Biden's border policies, his inflation, his forever wars, his soft on crime attitude, his two-tiered justice system, his attempted decimation of our fossil fuel industry - those issues have all been handed to Team Trump on a silver platter. All Trump needs to do is show the country the facts. Or as the old saying goes - "Were you better off four years ago"?

What will Biden run on? The climate. January 6th. Trump is an enemy of democracy. Blah, blah, blah. One Republican pundit said last night, Trump should challenge Biden to an immediate debate. Anywhere, anytime debate. And then let's do three or four more of them. Maybe just have a single issue in each debate. Immigration. Inflation. Crime. War. The TV ratings would be off the charts. Why? Trump will ask Biden the hardball questions - not what his favorite ice cream is, like CNN and MSNBC does.

Now it is time for Trump to pick his running mate. Names I have heard are Kristi Noem (my favorite), Elise Stefanik (the pundits favorite), and Tulsi Gabbard (a military background). Tulsi would be dangerous, as she hates what her former party has become. She is fond of Trump and his policies and would make a good teammate. Having Stefanik on the ticket could certainly help with New York voters (Trump would love to turn New York red again), and Kristi Noem just oozes freedom and liberty.

I would also like to see Tom Cotton as Secretary of Defense (Why? He gets it!), Chris Christie or Ted Cruz as Attorney General (back to a one-tiered system of justice), and Jared Kushner as Secretary of State. Why Trump's son-in-law? What Kushner did in pulling together the almost impossible Abraham Agreements was nothing short of miraculous. Smart, tough and young - he would be a perfect SOS. Then Blinken can go back to teaching pronouns at Harvard.

Time to let the games begin. Time to get the White House ready for a new tenant. Time to get Washington acting like a super-power once again. Biden has really mucked things up - now we will let Trump "un-muck" it. He did it once, he can do it again.

Our new America

"I have said this before. The United States of America has become the 'Untied' States of America. It is time for a split. A national divorce. We can't live together anymore. We are about as civil towards each other as the Hatfield's and McCoy's were."

Welcome to America 2.0. We have redefined our national motto to go from e pluribus unum (out of one, many), to something out of a tribal nature. What does that mean? We don't like each other. In fact, some or most of the time, we hate each other. We don't live living close to each other. And when this animus really boils over, is during a national election. The voting part of it? No - the aftermath.

The hatred of Donald Trump by those on the left is a mystery to me. Sure, his tone is often times bombastic and rude, but his results were very good. But if there was someone who is hated more than Satan on this Earth, it would be Donald Trump, hated by the loony left. How much do they hate him? Should he evade all the legal bear traps which have been set for him, and he goes on to win the general election, all hell could break loose.

On the other hand, we have Joe Biden. We all knew when Biden won the last election under the pall of something smelling like dead fish, things would change in our country. We knew that things would go down a degree or two from the economy Trump had built up. However, we had NO IDEA Biden would take this country down a hundred degrees or so. That he would bring us to the brink of nuclear war. That he would allow an invasion of our southern border. That he would inflate the cost of eggs to $10/dozen in many parts of the country. If we could have seen our future on that November day in 2020, there might have been a REAL insurrection. Why? The country was worth saving.

What is going to happen to us the day after the election? Will we all just smile, pat each other on the back and exchange good wishes? Or will the hand patting us on the back contain a shiv, ready to do us in. Will the cost of defeat leave such an acerbic taste in our mouths, that it can only be quenched by bloodshed and mayhem? Will martial law be declared? A state of emergency? Or will we be one inch closer to the abyss, with no national disruption.

I have said this before. The United States of America has become the "Untied" States of America. It is time for a split. A national divorce. We can't live together anymore. We are about as civil towards each other as the Hatfield's and McCoy's were. As Bernardo said in West Side Story, "You hate us, and we hate you right back".

But what is the difference between our country and the story told in West Side Story? In West Side Story, there was not a happy ending, but a hopeful one. With our national election, maybe our ending will be neither happy nor hopeful.

Super Duper, Awesome Tuesday coming up!

"Well, let's just get it over with. The general will be Trump v Biden. Unless Biden falls down the stairs on Air Force One and breaks something, this election is cast in concrete. And so is the outcome. Trump deserves as second term with a friendly Congress. After four years of that type of government, then we can judge President Trump."

Tomorrow is the long-awaited Super Tuesday. Big flipping deal, right? The big suspense will be to see if Nicki Hally can take any state other than the District of Columbia. Odds are, that is a big no. The other suspense is to see how many Democrats vote for "uncommitted" instead of Grandpa Joe. Seems like every day, more and more Democrats are coming clean and saying that Old Joe is ready for Sleepy Acres Nursing Home, rather than a second term.

My wife and I will go to our church and vote tomorrow. It will be a big nothing burger. No real races. But I might get a cookie for showing up! Our church is very welcoming on voting day. Homemade cookies and maybe a cup of Joe. The only person of any in my orbit that I am voting for who has a challenger - is Donald Trump. And even in Minnesota, Nikki will not win.

How about those other folks who are running? Dean Phillips? A gamble which did not pay off. His numbers are lower than undecided, and many in his district think he is a traitor. Bobby Kennedy's kid running on a third party? This one could be interesting as we approach the general election. I look for him to peel off many Biden voters the closer we get to November. Why? Many Democrats who cannot stomach voting for Biden, cannot stomach voting for Trump either. Kennedy would be the consolation choice.

This election will for sure be the tale of the down ticket. Does Donald Trump have enough coattails this year to drag many new Republicans over the finish line? Biden on the other hand does not have coattails. He has anchors and anvils. Many borderline Democrats look at Biden as being poison. Many are wishing the tealeaves were different, and Gavin Newsome were running instead of Biden. No such luck. Maybe in 2028 it will be DeSantis against Newsome, just like the debate Hannity had on his channel.

Well, let's just get it over with. The general will be Trump v Biden. Unless Biden falls down the stairs on Air Force One and breaks something, this election is cast in concrete. And so is the outcome. Trump deserves as second term with a friendly Congress. After four years of that type of government, then we can judge President Trump.

Move over Nvidia, here comes graphene!

"For those who love change, welcome to Tomorrowland. The next six years will be an exciting ride. For those who hate change - sorry about that. You probably will not like the next few years."

This past year, many people have made a whole lot of money by investing in a company called Nvidia. For those who might not have heard as yet, Nvidia is leading the charge in this country in the manufacturing of AI chips. Will the other big chip companies catch up with Nvidia? Most certainly. But for right now, Nvidia is the "king of the hill" when it comes to making and selling these most sought-after computer chips.

AI for sure is today's bright shining penny. There will be hundreds, maybe thousands of specialty fields using AI by the end of this decade. That is only six years away! If you have a kid or grandkid graduating from high school in six years, AI will be a big part of the landscape. Today's jobs are going away, and tomorrow's jobs are just starting to develop.

But there is another industry which is going to change the way we do things. Graphene. It just passed a major milestone this past month, by showing it was safe to use. Now it is going to be full speed ahead in developing applications for this new, and very thin, and wonderful material. How thin? One layer is one atom thin. How strong? Between 100 and 300 times stronger than steel. Plus, Graphene's electrons have properties which will make them well suited for the new world of quantum computing.

For young folks, this is indeed a brave new world. Lots of opportunities. For investors, lots of money to be made. But this graphene, what a wide-open landscape this will be! AI, quantum computing, new wonder materials, robotics, 6g telecommunications - the new opportunities list goes on and on. And - we can't forget all the space stuff that Elon Musk is involved in.

Speaking of Elon Musk, we also can't forget the robots that he is working on. He is giving Boston Dynamics a real run for the money in this developing technology. Be prepared to see Musk's Tesla Bots all over the place by (again), the end of this decade. Plus - we need to remember Elon's Starlink satellite communications system. That too, will be a game changer by the end of the decade.

For those who love change, welcome to Tomorrowland. The next six years will be an exciting ride. For those who hate change - sorry about that. You probably will not like the next few years.

Are we being played? Again?

"Putting Lara Trump in charge of part of the RNC will help - I think. This time around, we need to outsmart the crooked and maybe even out-slime the slimmest of the Dems. The stakes this time around could not be higher. War is on our doorstep, and Biden is primed and ready to get us involved in something horrible."

The year - 2020. A huge presidential election. After the previous four years, President Trump was going to be a shoe in for re-election. His rallies were YUGGE! Slow Joe on the other hand, campaigned from his basement. When he did have rallies, they looked like a small funeral procession. The plans were already being made on how to build upon what Trump had already done. What could possibly go wrong? Well, the pandemic for starters.

With the pandemic came early voting. Mail in voting. Ballot harvesting. All kinds of way the other side could cheat. How to cheat? Having the ballots get outside of the chain of custody. Have some suspicious voting machines. Meanwhile, the "Trumpians" voted fat, dumb and happy. Most got up on election day, went to the polling place, and voted. Then the unthinkable happened. Donald Trump lost to a very inferior Joe Biden. We got played.

Then came the year 2022. Midterms. The "Red Wave" was going to wash over the land. Joe Biden had screwed things up so bad, it was going to be a slam dunk for the red team to take the House and Senate. But then something happened. There was a "leak" coming out of the Supreme Court. The Court was going to reverse Roe v Wade. Make abortion illegal? Nope - just letting the states decide. But the damage was done. The "leak" somehow, was never figured out. But the rumors were spreading faster than Biden falling down the stairs of Air Force One. The damage was done. The Democrat who leaked this bad data out of the SOCUS, turned our Red Wave into the Red Trickle. Once again, we were played.

Come November, we will have another election. Trump is leading Biden in every category except napping and vacation days. Are we going to get played again? Have victory stolen out of our grasp and replaced by defeat? Lose to a dementia ladened octogenarian who does know if it is Tuesday or Thursday? I am afraid if Trump loses again, after having such a commanding lead, half the country will not take this laying down. It might be time for the torches and pitchforks (so to speak).

Putting Lara Trump in charge of part of the RNC will help - I think. This time around, we need to outsmart the crooked and maybe even out-slime the slimmest of the Dems. The stakes this time around could not be higher. War is on our doorstep, and Biden is primed and ready to get us involved in something horrible.

On a tightrope, we are

"Is there any doubt that a Trump 2.0 term could calm the waters? No doubt from me. Trump is what the country needs right now. We don't need another RINO; we need shock therapy. Only Trump can administer the right type of shock therapy to this Biden tainted country, without harming the patient."

Now the not-so-great state of Illinois has joined the chattering class to keep Trump off their state ballots. That brings the total to three now, with more possibilities coming. Some are saying the Supremes will put an end to this. Well - hurry up, if they are going to. Otherwise, this election will be a mess of historic proportions.

Where are we headed right now, besides the "Trump off the ballot" kerfuffle?

  • Trump still might get tied up in courts on a half dozen other witch hunts. Meanwhile, Trump's popularity is at an all-time high within his base and also with some independents and Reagan type Democrats. None of these 80M voters want one more second of Joe Biden in the White House. That is killing the country.
  • Vladimir Putin is rattling his nuclear saber again. Putin senses total weakness right now in the west's lone superpower (us). Somehow, earlier in the week, a list of Russian nuclear targets was published in one of our news medias. Bottom line? If you live on or close to the central eastern seaboard, it might be time to check the status of your "bug out" kit.
  • Farmers are protesting all over Europe right now. Seems they don't like Big Brother telling them how to farm and how much to farm. What is their recourse? Tie up traffic with their farming equipment. Spray manure on government buildings. Total rebellion. Careful Democrats - this could be coming to America shortly. Keep your boots off of the necks of our farmers.
  • Seems some in Canadian Parament are accusing Castro's Kid of covering up a major Chinese spying operation in Canada. Did Trudeau and some of his Liberal government know about this, and slow walk the fact this espionage was happening? Maybe yes. Bottom line? We have a corrupt government, controlled by the Cartels south of us, and maybe a Chinese tainted government to the north of us. That is just swell...
  • We have millions of unvetted people from all over the world in our country. What is Dick Durban's idea? Put them all in the military. Why? Help the military's sagging numbers. So, we are going to put hundreds, maybe thousands of unvetted people in our military and allow them to carry guns? Another stupid idea from the blue party.
That list is only some of the things to be concerned about. The people who thought our country was out of control when Trump was president, need now open their eyes and fess up. Our country is a real mess. Our world, without the strong leadership of the United States, is a hot mess. If the courts, buying into the Deep State's witch hunt, and keep Trump from running (one way or another), I am going to hide in my bunker. Why? That will be the tipping point for this once-great Republic.

Is there any doubt that a Trump 2.0 term could calm the waters? No doubt from me. Trump is what the country needs right now. We don't need another RINO; we need shock therapy. Only Trump can administer the right type of shock therapy to this Biden tainted country, without harming the patient.

You got to know when to fold them!

"By 2030, there will be new types of transportation available, and they will not include the LRT system. That entire system will shortly be a ghost of days gone by. All the money we have sunk into these losers will be nothing more than good money after bad. If you as the taxpayer feel fleeced - you should. You have been had."

There is an old saying - "Why can't the states operate like the federal government when it comes to spending money?" Short answer - states cannot "print" more money. Nor run deficits. In other words, states need to operate like the family budget does. Money going out cannot exceed money coming in.

As most of us know, our federal government is a mess right now. Republicans and Democrats do not have a clue on how to balance a yearly budget. The whopping $34T debt we have is only the beginning of this sad tale. By 2030, a scant six years away, our national debt will be $52T. The interest to service that debt will be close to being $2T a year. But enough about the fed - back to the states.

The state of Minnesota, which is run like Tim Walz's piggy bank, would love, love, love to keep building the LRTs which only the thugs like to ride on. The Southwest Light Rail has become a classic money pit, with every quarter the budget to completion goes up, and the completion date keeps slipping out further into the future. Most of us thought this train was the whopper of all whoppers. That is, until the news this morning.

The Blue Line Extension, which would tie in Brooklyn Park to Minneapolis, is still waiting to get funding and the go ahead to be built. It is just an extension, right? Can't cost that much. Oh, but you must remember the Met Council. This is a band of idiots who don't know a Dit from a DUH! According to the morning newspaper, the cost to build this "extension" would be somewhere between $2.9B and $3.2B.

Charlie Zelle, the chief nut in this band of morons, said building this Blue Line Extension to connect Brooklyn Park and Minneapolis would serve the underserved. It is critically important for us to do so. If you think crime on the LRT system is bad now, just wait until this Brooklyn Park line is finished. Yes, that is what I am saying. We will spend billions just for the chance to get mugged on another dirty train.

Here is the long and the short of it. Minnesota can't afford this choo-choo train. Heck, we can't even afford to finish the SWLRT line. And the deficit hawks will be back in town shortly. Asking Washington for monies to build these "most important" infrastructure improvements will be barking up the wrong tree. Sorry Charlie - ain't gonna happen.

By 2030, there will be new types of transportation available, and they will not include the LRT system. That entire system will shortly be a ghost of days gone by. All the money we have sunk into these losers will be nothing more than good money after bad. If you as the taxpayer feel fleeced - you should. You have been had.
