Now - let the games begin!

"I would also like to see Tom Cotton as Secretary of Defense (Why? He gets it!), Chris Christie or Ted Cruz as Attorney General (back to a one-tiered system of justice), and Jared Kushner as Secretary of State. Why Trump's son-in-law? What Kushner did in pulling together the almost impossible Abraham Agreements was nothing short of miraculous."

Super Tuesday has come and gone. The predicted bloodbath did really happen. Although Nikki Hally did win Vermont. Wait - is Vermont the home of Ben + Jerry's Ice Cream? Enough said. Any state who can house commies like those two, probably are not Trump folks anyhow. And Vermont - who needs you anyhow?

This morning at 9am our time, Nikki Haley is going to drop out. She now understands what most of the Republican Party has known for a while now. This is Donald Trump's party. Will it be in 2028? Nope - but it is in 2024. Will Nikki endorse Donald Trump? Unknown. I hope she does, as if she does not, that will only hurt Nikki. Team Trump is rolling down the tracks, and only Joe Biden is in Trump's sights right now. And he is focused on Biden like a laser beam.

The irony of this election is the lack of effort Trump will need to come with a rock-solid platform to use against Biden. Trump will not need to put together a team of strategists - Biden has done the work for him. Biden's border policies, his inflation, his forever wars, his soft on crime attitude, his two-tiered justice system, his attempted decimation of our fossil fuel industry - those issues have all been handed to Team Trump on a silver platter. All Trump needs to do is show the country the facts. Or as the old saying goes - "Were you better off four years ago"?

What will Biden run on? The climate. January 6th. Trump is an enemy of democracy. Blah, blah, blah. One Republican pundit said last night, Trump should challenge Biden to an immediate debate. Anywhere, anytime debate. And then let's do three or four more of them. Maybe just have a single issue in each debate. Immigration. Inflation. Crime. War. The TV ratings would be off the charts. Why? Trump will ask Biden the hardball questions - not what his favorite ice cream is, like CNN and MSNBC does.

Now it is time for Trump to pick his running mate. Names I have heard are Kristi Noem (my favorite), Elise Stefanik (the pundits favorite), and Tulsi Gabbard (a military background). Tulsi would be dangerous, as she hates what her former party has become. She is fond of Trump and his policies and would make a good teammate. Having Stefanik on the ticket could certainly help with New York voters (Trump would love to turn New York red again), and Kristi Noem just oozes freedom and liberty.

I would also like to see Tom Cotton as Secretary of Defense (Why? He gets it!), Chris Christie or Ted Cruz as Attorney General (back to a one-tiered system of justice), and Jared Kushner as Secretary of State. Why Trump's son-in-law? What Kushner did in pulling together the almost impossible Abraham Agreements was nothing short of miraculous. Smart, tough and young - he would be a perfect SOS. Then Blinken can go back to teaching pronouns at Harvard.

Time to let the games begin. Time to get the White House ready for a new tenant. Time to get Washington acting like a super-power once again. Biden has really mucked things up - now we will let Trump "un-muck" it. He did it once, he can do it again.
