Clean-up in Aisle Minnesota!

"Maybe it is not over yet. Who knows? Maybe a descendant of Karl Marx will also file to run for Governor on the Blue Team. Of course, compared to Team Erin, that person might appear to be politically normal."

Just when you thought it was safe to back into the water in Minnesota, here comes a new train wreck. The Left has once again taken the once fair cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul so far to the left of center, sometimes I think I am going to see stress fractures at their borders. The folks from the metro area on the Blue Team we have running for Governor (from the party formally known as the DFL) are, well, odd.

The three teams for the Blue Team are currently Walz/Flanagan (Left), Swanson/Nolan (Really Left), and Murphy/Maye Quade (Outer Space). The last two teams mentioned almost make the Walz/Flanagan team look conservative (and they are NOT). Plus (don't ask me how), the last team mentioned is the party endorsed team. Go figure.

On the GOP side, we have the party endorsed candidates of Johnson/Bergstrom. And we have the big money non-endorsed team of Pawlenty/Fischbach. One team is party endorsed, fully qualified, no baggage, and very electable. The other team is flush with big donor cash, very heavy baggage, not endorsed, and very probably un-electable.

Then if things could not get any more goofy around these parts, our "Mr. No Border" guy from CD 5 (that be Ellison) thinks it may be up to him to save the day. Now as this article is being prepared, the following is still conjecture - but I am hearing it in the local and national press. To save the MN AG spot from a sure victory by Doug Wardlow, Keith may have to run. Only one problem Congressman Ellison - you are very strong with the Blue Commies in the 5th - you are nothing in out-state MN. Go ahead and run. Doug will beat you like a drum.

But what about Keith's seat if he runs? More conjecture coming up. The Muslim gal with no experience, but somehow gets a whole lot of press, is the odds on favorite to run for this spot. I hope she does. This could result in yet another pickup for the Red Team in November.

In any event, the more I look at all of our endorsed candidates, the better I feel. Each of them are ROCK SOLID. I have said this before, and I will say it again - this is the BEST crop of candidates I have seen in many, many a year. I have seen the candidates on the Blue Team, and truthfully, they look like patrons in the bar scene from the first Star Wars movie. There is NO COMPARISON between the Red Team and the Blue Teams this year - none what-so-ever.

Well, it is going to be interesting to watch. Maybe it is not over yet. Who knows? Maybe a descendant of Karl Marx will also file to run for Governor on the Blue Team. Of course, compared to Team Erin, that person might appear to be politically normal. Time to sit back and enjoy the show - or watch the cleanup in Aisle Minnesota.
