Democrats - where art thou heroes?

"To my Democrat friends, let me just say this - you are being led down a primrose path. Your Democrat 'heroes' are anything but. Time to change the color of your house. The blue thing is not working out for you. Time to try red. Enjoy the wins. Embrace your new red heroes. This is after all, the Golden Age of America."

Over the weekend, Chuck Schumer made the Senate read out loud, the entire 900+ Big, Beautiful Bill. Why? When you have very few cards on the table, this is one of the only cards the Senate Democrats could play. Stall. In know, I know - when the shoe was on the other foot, the Republican Senators had Democrat bills read in their entirety. But the purpose back then was not to stall - it was to understand and expose any crapola which might have been stuck in the bill.

This weekend, when I was out cutting my grass (which never stops growing due to all the recent rain), I did some deep thinking. I thought, what would be like to be a Democrat supporter these days? I mean, who are their heroes? Their champions? What in the Big, Beautiful Bill is bad for the Democrat Joe Sixpack voter? Having the Trump temporary tax cuts made permanent so there is not a huge tax increase this year? Having no tax on tips for hard working waiters and servers? Having no tax on overtime for hard-working blue-collar laborers?

Maybe if you are a Democrat supporter and are a senior citizen. Or have parents who are senior citizens. Do you know how hard it is these days for many seniors to "make it"? How having a few extra bucks in their wallets could make such a huge difference? The Big Beautiful Bill addresses that issue. In fact, the Senate version gives more relief than the House version does. So whatever version is passed and signed into law will HELP seniors.

But Democrat supporters, where are your heroes right now? Each and every Democrat in the House and the Senate are voting AGAINST this bill which would help so many of you. But you have been cowed by your Democrat legislatures to hate this bill. Why? It was Donald Trump's idea. If this had been Joe Biden's idea, you would want to add Biden to Mount Rushmore. But because it is Trump's idea, then entire Democrat Party is ready to commit seppuku. Fall on your financial swords. I don't get it. If I lived to be a thousand years old, I still would not get it.

To my Democrat friends, let me just say this - you are being led down a primrose path. Your Democrat "heroes" are anything but. Time to change the color of your house. The blue thing is not working out for you. Time to try red. Enjoy the wins. Embrace your new red heroes. This is after all, the Golden Age of America.

Did SCOTUS get it right this time?

"SCOTUS also ruled in favor of parents who don't want their kids looking at kiddie porn in the school library, disguised as LGBTQIA+ (or whatever) material. For parents of faith, this was YUGE! It is about time the worm has turned on that issue!"

Even though there was a bit of a cat fight between Amy Coney Barrett and Ketanji Jackson once the opinion was read, the SCOTUS ruling 6-3 ruling on district judges was long overdue. I mean, this was nuts. Every time Donald Trump would issue an executive order, some liberal district judge would issue a stay which would affect the entire country. It was the next stage of lawfare. And most honest legal scholars thought this was just plain wrong. It gave the judiciary powers which they were never intended to have.

But wait - what about birthright citizenship? Does this ruling also satisfy that issue also? Probably not, although until October when the next SOCTUS session starts, the resolution of this issue is as clear as mud.

The entire reason we have executive orders is Congress. Congress? Why? They move at the pace of a snail on crutches. In fact, to be truthful, Congress wants to be more involved in the war powers issue. Now that we have Trump as president, Democrats who always turned a blind eye to Obama, Clinton and Biden, want Trump handcuffed on ANY military action. Two problems however: Problem One - the snail on crutches problem. It would take FOREVER for Congress to come to any resolution. By that time, the war would be over, and we would have lost.

Problem Two - Congress leaks like a sieve. Operational Security (something of which many of us who have served know much about), is only a word with no merit to many Democrats. Leaking some intel to a friend in the dishonest media is considered to be fair play. But it is not. In reality, it is treasonous. Plain and simple - treason.

In any event, now that SCOTUS has ruled against the district judges, Team Trump could go about getting all if its executive orders untangled. Oh, and by the way, SCOTUS also ruled in favor of parents who don't want their kids looking at kiddie porn in the school library, disguised as LGBTQIA+ (or whatever) material. For parents of faith, this was YUGE! It is about time the worm has turned on that issue!

Now SCOTUS, enjoy your summer vacation. For a change, you have earned it.

Governors and Mayors - the have and have nots

"The graphic above is taken from a street in Detroit. Another big, blue city. When I was a boy, Detroit was a showcase city. Our leaders would take leaders from other countries into Detroit to show them how the American dream looked and acted. Today, Detroit is a hollowed-out mess. Much of the city is a slum."

Ever noticed that America has some top-notch governors and mayors? Good things happen, costs go down, living standards go up, crime is in check. I could go on and on, but I will just use the old cliche - "This is a city (or state) which works". If you live in a city or state like that, thank your lucky stars. Or better yet, thank an informed electorate who knows how to vote. Wait - why are not all cities and states like that? Why are some so bad? And keep being bad? Now you have asked the golden question.

I have asked these questions many times before. If you live in a sub-standard city or state, please don't blame the incompetent leaders who were elected. They are only opportunists. Who then, is to blame for bad city or state government? Undereducated, uneducated, or unaware voters. And they will vote for bad government over and over and over again. By the same token, many states and cities in America are run by good to great people who have been elected by educated and informed voters. Hint: Minnesota is NOT one of those states. Minneapolis is NOT one of those cities. We are the worst of the worst.

The same is true for national elections. This past election, we elected somebody who hovered between asleep and awake. Between being a Walter Middy and someone who was stone cold clueless. But how in the world could an advanced country like ours elect somebody who was so out to lunch? Big blue cities, run by faux leaders, inhabited by monolithic voters. It really is as simple as that. People who live outstate tend to vote with the country in mind; those who live in the big, blue cities vote on lies and empty promises made by dishonest people. How often does this happen? Over and over and over again.

Our current president is reshaping America. Making it better. Richer. Safer. All the metrics are currently pointing north. But the city dwellers who live in the big, blue cities, hate this man who is doing so much good for the country. Why? The "leaders" they elected, tell them to hate this man. Only vote for people who bet against America. How in the world did some of our people develop this backward thinking? How they could back someone who badmouths this great country? Who want to see us lead from behind? Who want to see us weakened? Please don't ask me - for to me, this continues to be a great mystery.

Ladies and gentlemen, it all starts with the cities. The counties. The school boards. We need to elect people who are not ideologues. People who love this county, city, state and country. People who love God, and don't hate or boo him at conventions. Once people who live in this great country start voting from an informed platform, once God and country are put first in their votes, that is when our big, blue cities and states will turn around.

One final note. The graphic above is taken from a street in Detroit. Another big, blue city. When I was a boy, Detroit was a showcase city. Our leaders would take leaders from other countries into Detroit to show them how the American dream looked and acted. Today, Detroit is a hollowed-out mess. Much of the city is a slum. Why? People not voting for the right people. It really is as simple as that.

Iran: Trust them, trust them not

"Who is the head of the snake? Who is the scorpion who would bite anyone just to kill them? Even if it meant their own destruction. I think we all know the answer to those questions. It is time for a change Iran. Time to rejoin the 21st century."

I am reminded of an old fable. Once, a flood was coming and was going to kill everything which could not swim. A turtle was going to leave the shore and swim for dryer land. A scorpion, who could not swim, asked the turtle if he could ride on his back. The turtle, who was kind, said the scorpion could hop on. About halfway to freedom, the scorpion stung the turtle on his head. The turtle in his dying breath, asked the scorpion why he did that, because now they both would die. The scorpion said he could not help it - it was in his nature. And they both died - the turtle from the scorpion bite, and the scorpion from drowning.

Why tell this old tale. Because it reminds me of Iran. Even though Iran has been defeated, and the nuclear threat is over - is it? Or has it just been delayed? Or is it within Iran's nature to cheat.

Iran is a snake. Can't trust them. They will lie to us through their teeth. But then, how can we work with them? How can we make sure they will not get fissionable material from another bad actor like North Korea, Pakistan, or China? Iran is a big country, with lots of places to hide stuff. And all it takes is enough refined uranium to make one small nuke, put it on top of a Fattah - 1 hypersonic missile, and Israel suffers a catastrophic blow.

Any peace agreement with Iran should contain the following conditions:

1) Supervised destruction of any remaining enrichment equipment and material.

2) Destruction of all remaining rockets and drones.

3) Unscheduled inspections by the US, Israel or the IAEA.

4) A written and formal declaration that Israel has a right to exist. Israel is recognized as a       sovereign state.

In the absence of those conditions, Iran remains a loose cannon. Do I trust them? About as much as I trust a coiled snake. Do I trust the IRGC? Even less. The Mullahs? Even less. I know President Trump did not care about regime change in Iran, but until that happens, the trust factor with this current regime is about zero.

Who is the head of the snake? Who is the scorpion who would bite anyone just to kill them? Even if it meant their own destruction. I think we all know the answer to those questions. It is time for a change Iran. Time to rejoin the 21st century.

Showdown time for the Big, Beautiful Bill

"All we need if for every Republican to be a team player. Grandstanders and RINOs will kill this bill and put a huge dent in Trump's presidency. And if that happens, forgiveness and mercy will be in short supply by the rest of us."

The time has come, and found us here... Okay, so I am paraphrasing the song Where's the playground Susie? But it is time, and we are here. For what? This when President Trump wanted the Big Beautiful Bill all wrapped up with a nice bow on it, passed by both houses of Congress, and ready to sign on Independence Day (that is the 4th of July for lefties). Dare, I ask then - how is it coming? You can ask, but the answer might prove to be elusive.

Donald Trump has had a pretty good run at his first five months of his second term. Not perfect but considering the Democrat and media headwinds he has to endure, not bad at all. This NATO achievement, of getting most of the members to agree to 5% of their GDP (for military spending), was actually like pulling a rabbit out of a hat. And that on the heels of the almost magical feat of blowing up Iran's underground Fordow facility, made for a wonderful June for the president.

But - this Big Beautiful Bill will be his signature achievement - that is, should it happen. And this bill is totally binary. Should it pass and be signed into law, good things will happen for most of us. More money, more opportunities. However, should it NOT be signed, and die on the floor of Congress, it will be a dark day for America. The temporary tax cuts we received during Trump's first term, will sunset at the end of this year. And the tax increase will be a whopper.

Wait - hold on here! If most would suffer should this Big, Beautiful Bill not be signed into law, why in the world would Democrats not support it? Even if just a handful supported it, passing this bill would be a slam dunk. Why then, would Democrats want to commit financial suicide? Because it is associated with Donald Trump. And since many Democrats hate Trump worse than Satan, they would fall on their sword just to kill this bill. Throw in a handful of RINOs, and this bill is already on life support.

Meanwhile, as Trump continues to cast his vision over this land of what a better America could or should look like, the status quo, spend it like there is no tomorrow crowd is active. For the loony left, the "rising tide lifts all boats" thing, is just a fable. Another excuse to skin the poor and feed the rich. For those on the right, this bill would be a keyhole to escape from the four years of inflation that Biden visited upon us all. More money in our pockets to blunt the effect of things being 20% higher in price over the past four years.

It is showtime, or maybe just a showdown for this most important bill. If this gets past, and signed into law, the corks will be popping. If it dies, each and every Republican who voted against it will be dead to the rest of us. Why? We own all levers of power. All we need if for every Republican to be a team player. Grandstanders and RINOs will kill this bill and put a huge dent in Trump's presidency. And if that happens, forgiveness and mercy will be in short supply by the rest of us.

Goodbye, New York. It's been (a) real (mess)

"The biggest fault most big blue cities have, is voting for the same morons over and over again. But, why? Things never get better, only worse. They do it because most Democrat voters are under-educated. And how does that happen? From going to our failed government schools, run by other Democrats."

Just when you thought it could not get goofier, it could not get worse, it could not get more unlivable, the minions of New York City have elected a true blue socialist and antisemitic to be their next mayor. Hold on! That was just a primary! Not the general election! No matter - in NYC he is a shoo-in for the general.

Zohran Mamdani is his name. His platform is even stranger and more complicated than he is. Like, a corporate tax of 11%? Is he nuts? Free this and free that? This could be the doom of Gotham City. Now and forever.

How in the world could this guy, who is a world class nut ball, convince the gullible city dwellers of NYC that his brew of nonsense was not snake oil? That old saying, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" comes to mind. But the people, the mind numbed voters of New York, keep voting for these city and state wreckers time after time after time. And the people and money flow out of New York, over and over and over again. Like, DUH!

Another perplexing question. New York City has a very large population of Jewish people. For some reason (please don't ask me), these Jewish people vote in large part - Democrat. Why in the world then, would Jewish people elect an antisemitic? Putting the antisemitic issue aside, I have never understood why Jewish people, who in large are very smart people, vote Democrat. It makes no sense to me.

This new guy, once sworn in, should work very well with Governor Hochul. Why? Birds of a feather. I know, I know. I am a hypocrite. After all, I live in a state which allows abortion up to the moment of birth. Our Governor, who wants to put tampons in boy's bathrooms, signed that bill. And check out our Lt. Governor. And our AG. And our state legislature. And Omar the commie from Somali. Our state is almost as bad as New York is. But with the addition of Mamdani, they will be way out in first place.

The biggest fault most big blue cities have, is voting for the same morons over and over again. But, why? Things never get better, only worse. They do it because most Democrat voters are under-educated. And how does that happen? From going to our failed government schools, run by other Democrats.

Our big blue cites are like huge whirlpools, swirling around, sucking everything into some hole of hopelessness. Why can't people break out of this cycle? Is this not insanity? Sure is - but so long that the under-educated keep believing the lies, gaslighting and snake oil - things will NEVER change. And that is why, us folks from outstate, stay far, far away from most metro areas.

Is the worst yet to come?

"Can we live as a nation under socialist governance? No, no and no again!

Bifurcation. Means splitting into two parts. Wait - are we not split into two parts already? Pretty much, yes. But just look at Minnesota. It was reported (again) today that Trump is very popular in outstate Minnesota. But as popular as a case of herpes in the metro area. ICE is a hated group of storm troopers in the metro area. But outstate? They are a welcomed group of law enforcement who keeps us safe from unwelcomed interlopers. We are two states, living within the same boundary. Just like our country has become two nations living inside of the same boundary. Go figure.

Could it get worse? Oh, yes it could. Let's take New York City. Right now, even though Eric Adams has much more which could be desired, we have a whole host of nut balls who are vying to be the next mayor. Yes, even Andrew Cuomo is back in the picture. After his debacle as governor, he has the gall to run for mayor of our largest city.

But one of the front runners for NYC mayor who is getting a lot of buzz right now is a guy named Zohran Mamdani. He is a self-professed democratic socialist. After hearing about him and reading his platform, I disagree - he is a full-fledged commie. Do you mean Bird, that this guy could actually be worse than Bill de Blasio? Oh, yes - by a long shot. Mamdani is the sultan of free. Free this, free that - just what most run of the mill New Yorkers like to hear. Who is going to pay for all this free stuff? The rich taxpayers, of course!

We have to remember who New York has produced in the past. Bernie Sanders, our favorite socialist was born in New York. AOC, the socialist bartender who somehow became a congressperson is from New York. Kathy Hochel is a native New Yorker. What is wrong with this state? Why California and New York, have become the land of extremes is beyond me. Both were good states at one time. Now they are almost uninhabitable. People (and money) are fleeing those high tax hellscapes as fast as their feet can take them.

How bad can things really get in our country? I think we got a glimpse of it under Obama. Then a much longer glimpse of it under Biden. It is almost amusing. Not too long ago, the local newspaper was complaining that once our city dwellers get "outstate" (just outside of the beltway) and started seeing all the Trump signs and hearing conservative lingo, they felt "uncomfortable". Why? They left their bubble. Once they visited the lands where the citizens and patriots live, where the real backbone of this country lives, they did not like it. Not at all.

Some have accused us in the outstate of looking like a Normal Rockwell painting or acting like Ozzie and Harriet clones. Fine, I am good with that. Why? We love God, family, kids, freedom, liberty and fair justice. It really is as simple as that.

Aftermath...

What does the aftermath look like? This is far from over.

As Americans, we all have reasons to be proud today. The feat, the unbelievable feat which was performed by our Armed Forces this past weekend, was something which could have been taken out of a Tom Clancy book. As good as this mission was, as flawless as it was, some questions remain. Like - the aftermath. What is that going to look like? And are we out of the woods as yet?

Heard something on the news this morning which gave me pause. The IAEA believes that Iran still has enough enriched uranium to build up to 30 nuclear bombs. Wait - what? How can that be? We destroyed the centrifuges! Unleashed our finest bunker busters to ensure the job was done right. True - but the IAEA believes that Iran still had enough enriched uranium at 60% enrichment, to make up to 30 bombs. And the path between 60% to 90% (finished product) is not a hard path at all. All that was taken out and hidden elsewhere before the bombing started. That is issue number one.

The next issue is what Iran will try and do to us for punishment because of last weekend's bombing. Not to get too political, but with Joe and Kamala leaving our borders open for four years, how many Iranian terrorists could have gained entry to our country. Became "sleeper cells". Could we have some Iranian "sleeper cells" be activated, and then hit some of the many soft targets we have in our country? Innocent blood spilled? Worries, worries and more worries. That is issue number two.

Iran still has hundreds, maybe thousands of very short-range rockets at their disposal. Rockets not stout enough to hit Israel, but very adequate to hit some of our bases in the Middle East. If they shoot a wave of these missiles at one of our bases, can our THAAD or Patriot defense systems handle them? Or will the saturation be too much for them to handle. We have warned Iran to do this would be a suicide plunge for them. But the old guy running the place (The Supreme Leader), does not seem to care how many of his people might die in our response to an attack. That is issue number three.

Issue number four. The Straits of Hormuz. To punish us (as well as much of the world), Iran is threatening to close it down. Maybe mine it. Why in the world would Iran do such a dastardly thing. Because they are Iran. They don't care. All they want out of life is to destroy Israel, and then us. Why? We are antithetical to way they think. They way they believe. We believe in life, liberty and God. They don't. Inflicting pain and lots of it, gives them joy. Closing the Straits will give them great joy.

What does the aftermath look like? This is far from over. Issue number one, with all that uranium almost ready to make bombs with, is more than concerning. What do I see coming? Please don't hang up on me now, but this is my fear. Boots on the ground. Why? We need to get to that uranium, and ensure they get NO MORE. Otherwise, everything which has happened so far, would have been in vain.

Good guys and bad people

"Iran aims for civilians. Putin aims for civilians. These are not good guys, they are bad people. Our president wants peace between peoples more than anything else. By the same token, he takes the safety of the American people seriously. We are the good guys. Last night, we bombed a nefarious lab belonging to some very bad people."

As a kid, born shortly after the conclusion of World War II, playtime with friends in the neighborhood would most likely be war games or "good guys and bad guys". The war games were of course, the allies fighting the Germans or Japanese. But that was a point in time. The Germans and Japanese, who were bad guys back then, are now our friends and allies. And how they act, is much more like good guys than bad guys.

In my lifetime, the United States has always acted like a good guy. Forget what you have heard from the malcontents on the left - we do not have a sordid history. Not perfect, but pretty darn good if you ask me. Why talk about this? Because even though many of the battles of good guys against bad guys seem to be so ancient, we have some even today.

Last night, the good guys representing our country, unleashed some powerful bombs to take care of a naughty problem in the country of some very bad people. Iran, who is loaded with bad actors in their government, has been causing hellscapes for the country of Israel. To a lesser extent, also for us. Now they are trying to build a nuclear weapon. For what purpose? In the words of the leaders of Iran, so they can exterminate Israel. And after Israel, maybe us.

The main target last night was the Fordow underground facility. Our war planners were convinced that two of our massive "bunker busters", dropped from a B-2 bomber, could do the trick. But unknown until last night, the war planners also knew this facility was so very vital to building (finishing) a nuclear bomb for Iran, instead of two "bunker busters", we used six.

Here is the bottom line. Iran loves to hit below the belt. In the war with Israel, the Israeli Air Force aims for Iran's nuclear sites and military sites. Iran on the other hand, aims ballistic missiles at Israel's civilian areas. Even hospitals. All Israel wants to do is keep Iran from building a bomb which could be used against Israel. All Iran wants to do is kill Jews.

Iran aims for civilians. Putin aims for civilians. These are not good guys, they are bad people. Our president wants peace between peoples more than anything else. By the same token, he takes the safety of the American people seriously. We are the good guys. Last night, we bombed a nefarious lab belonging to some very bad people. The irony is, Iran is loaded with some good people - some very good guys. But their leadership is rotten to the core. Extremely bad people.

Are we good guys or bad guys? I guess it all depends on whom you ask. As of late, the radical fringe on the left thinks we (the USA) is wrong on everything. Most citizens and patriots feel strongly that we are still the good guys. And I am one of them. What is this war with Iran all about? Good vs. evil. Good vs. evil is the battle which has been going on since day one. And it will continue until Jesus comes back.

Iran: Know peace, or no peace. Your choice

"Yes, I am using that old cliche from yesteryear. If Iran will decide not to know peace, then they will have no peace. Now they have more than just Israel to worry about. They will have the full force and power of the United States. Does Trump want another war? Absolutely not! But he wants a nuclear Iran even less."

The other day on Fox News, retired four-star general Jack Keane was air on as a SME (subject matter expert) for the current Israel/Iran war. He had a very interesting take on why Iran is stalling or refusing to negotiate for peace. One would think, that with virtually all of their air defenses down right now, and the IDF turning all Iran's military buildings and nuclear facilities into dust, that white flags would be waiving all over Tehran. Why are they not? Keane had an interesting theory.

Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, the war hawk who causes so much trouble and misery in the world, is convinced that like a Pheonix, Iran will rise again from the ashes once the bombing stops. Even with all their nuclear sites destroyed, and all nuclear scientists killed, the nuclear recipe will still be a state secret, ready to be copied and implemented once again. In other words, short of total devastation of Iran, they are far from done.

Meanwhile, it is now known, and no longer suspected, that Iran has the much-feared Fattah ballistic missile. This two-stage demon is powerful and fast. So fast, it got by our AEGIS defense system as well as Israel's Iron Dome net and impacted in an urbane area is Israel. How bad are these Mach 15 monsters? Bad enough, that they could be a game changer. I mean, why negotiate for peace, when you have those things?

I respect Jack Keane. Always have. Distinguished career, and still a very smart mind for warfare. My vote (if asked) would be this - Iran has some good people living there. But their regime is as evil as evil gets. And the Supreme Leader, this almost 90-year-old theocrat, does not give a tinker's dam about his people. He has no interest in peace. Only war. What would I do? Unleash the B-2 bombers on the Fordow underground nuclear site. Bomb it into dust. Then I would drop a MOAB (Mother of all Bombs) in the IRGC headquarters. Kill everybody and everything (including bacteria) in that building and the area surrounding it.

But what if Iran keeping using those Fattah missiles, launched from secret locations? I would send in the bombers to take out Kharg Island. This would really cripple Iran's economy. Next, I would take out all the utilities in Tehran. Let the people feel the heat, so they in turn can let their government feel the heat. Meaning what? Regime change. The only thing which will ensure Iran will NEVER be a nuclear menace again. It is now up to the people to control their own destiny.

Yes, I am using that old cliche from yesteryear. If Iran will decide not to know peace, then they will have no peace. Now they have more than just Israel to worry about. They will have the full force and power of the United States. Does Trump want another war? Absolutely not! But he wants a nuclear Iran even less.

Hit lists, doxxing, and swatting - oh my!

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is the world we now live in. Hit lists, doxxing, and swatting. These are not pranks - these are life and death events. But that is okay, as we have minimalized people down to only shadows of who they really are. All we can see is their politics."

Eight years ago this month, a ball game was about to take place. An innocent activity, to try to have two groups in Washington who are always at each other's throats, to play nice with each other. However, a left-wing activist named James Hodgkinson decided to do something about the rage he felt towards the Congressional Republicans. What an opportunity! There they were, practicing to play a baseball game - sitting ducks on the ball field. By luck and providence, Hodgkinson was only able to seriously wound Republican lawmaker Steve Scalise before some member of Capitol Police was able to put Hodgkinson down.

Who would have thought, only eight years from that travesty, history would repeat. Only this time, it was not a left-wing activist who was going to do the shooting. It was a guy who was complicated in his politics. But he had a beef with the Democrats in the State of Minnesota as well as abortion providers. He had a list of who to kill. It had over 70 names on it. It turns out (again, by luck and providence), he was only able to kill one legislator (plus spouse) and seriously wound another one (plus spouse). If state police had not acted quickly and decisively, that fateful night could have resulted in a massacre.

What do we know? Both sides now have tried to kill, in a mass murder fashion, members of the other side. Is this really what we have devolved in to? But there were some breadcrumbs leading up to this event in Minnesota. Done by mostly the other side. A new word has been coined - doxxing. It is felt by some on the left, if you can get the picture of somebody, maybe pictures of the family, along with the name and address of that person, you can make their lives hell. Maybe even put them in mortal danger. And this goes on ALL THE TIME. Most recent victims have been members of ICE.

Another new name which has popped up recently is swatting. A favorite tool of the left, swatting is where you call 911 and report some kind of faux event at a person's house in which people are in grave danger. Danger so bad, it would necessitate the police sending the SWAT team out to rectify the situation. So then, why do it? There is always a chance when SWAT is on the scene, something bad could happen. Innocent people (like the homeowner) could get shot by accident.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the world we now live in. Hit lists, doxxing, and swatting. These are not pranks - these are life and death events. But that is okay, as we have minimalized people down to only shadows of who they really are. All we can see is their politics. Period. If some die, so be it. It is after all, for the cause.

As long as we feel that way, the country will remain split. And the civil war that some keep talking about, will only be inches away. Who did this to us? We did. You, me, our corrupt justice system, and lifer politicians. We broke it, and we can fix it. But fixing will be a whole lot harder than breaking it.

Is TDS even curable?

"Some Democrats hate Trump because he is white. Or rich. Or accomplished. Or whatever. However, many hate Trump because they are lemmings. It is the 'cool' thing to do. And some just plain hate America. Don't think so? Ever watch The View? Or Colbert? Or most anything else coming out of the shallow and vapid pool of nonsense called Hollywood?"

Here we are, nearing the halfway point for the first year of term number two for Donald Trump. The other day, it hit me like a ton of bricks. TDS. One of the strangest mental disorders of the 20th or 21st century. The fact that TDS is still around (maybe stronger than it was the first time around) is like deja vu all over again. The Democrats, who are infected with this most strange disorder, are certified mental cases. Period.

Here is my concern. The TDS ladened Democrats, who are resisting, protesting, litigating, fighting, crying, shaming and so forth - are only making matters worse. This country will NEVER heal. NEVER. How so? When or if the time comes, when we get a Democrat in the White House, this Democrat will probably be a nut ball like Joe Biden. The Republicans (who have long memories - they are elephants you know), will go after this person hammer and tong. Bottom line? The split in our country will grow even wider.

I am convinced we will NEVER have a president who can appeal to both sides again. Why? That type of person does not exist any longer. Maybe that kind of a person never existed. But for the here and now, we have a president who is cogent and aware. He is the opposite of what we just had. Why the hatred for Donald Trump is mystifying. He wants peace in Ukraine, the Middle East and between India and Pakistan. He wants a rising tide lifting all boats (everybody does better). He wants fairer trade deals. He wants us to be energy dominant. And he wants the end of lawfare. With all these traits, the morons still want to hate him. Speak truth on why that is!

Some Democrats hate Trump because he is white. Or rich. Or accomplished. Or whatever. However, many hate Trump because they are lemmings. It is the "cool" thing to do. And some just plain hate America. Don't think so? Ever watch The View? Or Colbert? Or most anything else coming out of the shallow and vapid pool of nonsense called Hollywood?

What is the most ironic to me, is when one of the uneducated on the left call Trump "authoritarian". What? After Joe Biden telling is what kind of car to buy, what kind of toilet to use, what kind of fuel to use to cook our food? THAT is authoritarianism (or worse). Plus, with all the storm troopers running around during Covid, EVERYTHING we did was regulated. THAT was authoritarianism. Trump has done NONE of that kind of stuff.

If you are reading this, and have TDS, please get some help. Why? You are part of the problem. With people like you running around, we will never heal as a nation.

Hey Iran! It's over!

"Can Israel and the United States ever forgive and forget what Iran has done since 1979. I think so. If they can straighten up and fly right once the current regime is gone, I see redemption ahead. After all, we forgave and forgot all the bad things with WW II. Japan and Germany are now two of our staunchest allies."

Please don't tell this to the powers that are left in Iran. As the saying goes, they are a "dead man walking". Yes, I am that old, that I remember when Iran was our friend. Before the nut balls in that country decided it would be smart thing to do by overthrowing the Shah and becoming a theocracy. Bad move. In fact, the Iranian F-14 jets they showcased on the news, probably had some Sperry Univac stuff in them. Stuff that Sperry sold to the Shah while I was working for Sperry Univac.

With Israel declaring air superiority over Iran, that puts Iran on life support. Slowly and deliberately, Isreal is turning Iran into dust. When you have zero air defenses left, all you have left is the mercy of the other side. And with Israel, after putting up with rockets, drones, and missiles for decades from with Iran or its proxies, mercy might be in short supply.

There is one act left in this very predictable story. The underground nuclear program. How much damage can the IDF do to the underground bunkers all by themselves, or do they need the help of US, using our B-2 and bunker buster technology. My vote? Ever try and trust a snake? We need to use the belt and suspender approach. Instead of bombing the Iranian nuclear program into chunks, we need to bomb it into atoms. If it takes every bunker buster in our inventory, I don't care.

Iran has been a PITA (pain in the ass) ever since 1979. Time to liberate the good people of Iran who want to once again live like good people. No more of this theocratic BS from Iran. No more bombs and missiles raining down on Israel. No more October 7th type of terror raids. Many in the Arab Nation wants the old Iran back. The Iran they could deal with. Grow with. Live with. The Iran of today is nothing more than a cancerous wart on the Middle East. Time for some surgery.

Can Israel and the United States ever forgive and forget what Iran has done since 1979? I think so. If they can straighten up and fly right once the current regime is gone, I see redemption ahead. After all, we forgave and forgot all the bad things with WW II. Japan and Germany are now two of our staunchest allies.

Is abortion our great divider?

"As the days wear on, or when the trial starts, we will find out more of what happened. We really do need to know. Why? Because it might happen again. And we need to make sure it does not."

Now that we are in the aftermath of the nightmare from this past weekend, questions are being asked. Questions which do not yet have answers. Let's face it - the perp who caused all this mayhem and tragedy this past weekend was an enigma. Like, how could this family man from outstate, who was highly educated, worked in the Walz administration (as an appointee), professed to be a "Christian Nationalist" (whatever that is) - become like a Freddy Kruger type of monster?

What snapped in him? What flipped his switch? This morning the local fish wrap paper got up on their usual high horse and thought abortion had something to do with it. Well, no matter what this corrupt newspaper said, even if it was abortion, the Star and Tribune said we will still support it! Then I thought - who is "we"? I know lots and lots of people who feel abortion is wrong. Some say a sin. Some even feel it is murder. But that is one side of the issue. The other side feels it is a woman's right to choose. Wait - as Minnesotans, can't we come together on this one? A compromise? After all, like Walz said, we are "One Minnesota". Or are we?

As far as the east is from the west. That is how our national split on abortion is. Why say the east is from the west? Because east and west never meet. There is no compromise on this issue. Never has been, never will be. That being said, is abortion, above all else, our great divider? Will we ever be able to come together and even discuss this vexing problem?

My concern is this. If (and we don't know as yet) abortion was an issue which caused the murders and attempted murders last weekend, could it happen again? I don't know - but this is a troubling thought to have. I bothers me a "hit list" was found in the perp's vehicle which had all the potential victims from the same political party. Are we that divided, that a political choice could result in a death sentence?

As the days wear on, or when the trial starts, we will find out more of what happened. We really do need to know. Why? Because it might happen again. And we need to make sure it does not.

Is it time to join the fray?

"This war has taken us to the precipice of history. What we do and how we do it, could affect everything for evermore. We need to do the right thing and do it fast. The Israelis may be our friends, but time is not. Do the right thing President Trump. It is the right thing to do."

Let's face it. Israel has exceeded expectations. The war between Israel and Iran has been a David and Goliath story for sure. Iran, whose size is somewhere between Texas and Alaska, is at war with Israel who is about the size of New Jersey. And for the most part, Israel has been taking it to Iran. So much so, just recently Israel has established air superiority over all of Iran. As the saying goes, that ain't nothing!

But with all this success, here is the rub. First off, Iran still has over 1,000 ballistic missiles, some of which are hypersonic. As good as the Iron Dome has been in the past, as good as our AEGIS system is (acting as support), as good as getting help from some other countries, these ballistic missiles are just too much at times. And when a 20-ton missile makes it through the gauntlet of defensive measures, the damage is extreme. And this tit for tat could go on for weeks. The carnage and death might be too much for the civilians living in Israel's major cities.

But there is one more thing which is even more serious. Some of the centrifuges which are very close to coming up with the correct recipe to making a handful of nuclear warheads, is buried so deep underground, Israel cannot get to them. If this war ends, and those centrifuges are allowed to finish their vile task, this war will all be for naught. One nuclear warhead, on one ballistic missile, and it is game over for Israel. Period.

Netanyahu wants Trump to use our B-2 planes with our super bunker busters and help out. Even though Trump wants to stay out of this fray, one or two sorties with B-2 planes carrying bunker busters could be the fix to this issue. Right now, with the air superiority that Israel has established over Iran, we could almost safely fly a Piper Cub over Iran. With the invisibility that the B-2 bombers have, they should be about as safe as safe can be.

I say do it. Get it done. We have the fix to keeping Iran from becoming a nuclear power. Besides the ability to destroy Israel, a nuclear Iran would try to nuke us also. It would turn the Middle East into the world's newest arms race. All the outcomes would be negative. Again, we need to join the fray. Bomb those underground nuclear sights so hard and so long, not even ants could survive.

This war has taken us to the precipice of history. What we do and how we do it, could affect everything for evermore. We need to do the right thing and do it fast. The Israelis may be our friends, but time is not. Do the right thing President Trump. It is the right thing to do.

Do we really have to get meaner, Timmy?

"What happened to the United Healthcare CEO is no mystery. The cold-blooded murder of the two young people who worked at the Jewish embassy in Washington, is no mystery. Sadly, what happened in Minnesota this weekend was almost predictable. I mean, there was two assassination attempts on Donald Trump even before the election."

Not too long ago, our self-professed "knucklehead", said from the podium, "We need to get meaner". This was before he called the ICE police force, "Gestapo". While testifying in front of Congress last week, Tim Walz was asked if he would like to apologize for those poor word choices. After all, because our "knucklehead" has helped fanned the flames against ICE, cities like LA are starting to look like war zones. But who cares? This is all about getting "meaner". I mean, what is the worst that could happen from getting meaner? This weekend, we got our answer.

Is this all Tim Walz's fault? Of course not. He is but one little man in a huge cog of a hate filled mob. The man who shot the CEO of United Healthcare also was a little man in this huge cog. He could not take it anymore. All of a sudden, the health insurance industry was his enemy number one. His solution? Shoot the head guy in the back as he headed out to work.

"Toning down the rhetoric", starts with all of us, especially the loud and unhinged cog of haters. As disgusted as I was with the 2023 legislative session, especially for what they did to the unborn, hurting anyone of them was never an option for me. Voting them out of office? Sure. But bodily harm? Never entered the arena of ideas. What happened this weekend was not a political solution to anything. It was just pure hatred, allowed to gestate in this toxic atmosphere of "getting meaner".

Somebody asked when it was that our country went from rude to toxic in our political discourse. When we became so divided, so bifurcated, we cannot even talk to each other anymore. In my view, it went back to Barack Obama. He and his wife decided they wanted to slice and dice us up into many parts. By the time he left office after two terms, our nation was fairly screwed up. Then came the knife in the back (so to speak). Donald Trump beat the odds-on favorite to be our next president. That put the haters in overdrive. It was decided that anything to ruin this man was fair game. Therefore, people either loved Trump or hated Trump. Our national split went from a crack in our foundation, to a chasm the size of the Grant Canyon.

After our very mysterious election in 2020, we had the semi-cadaver known as Joe Biden. Not only was he "out to lunch" half of the time, when he was cognizant, we took our national hate to a new level. Now we were two countries living within the same borders. Politically, we could no longer even talk to each other. Watching congressional hearings on TV was like watching the WWE in a battle royal. By the time Biden's term was up, and Donald Trump started his second term, we were a mess. Just shy of ungovernable.

What happened to the United Healthcare CEO is no mystery. The cold-blooded murder of the two young people who worked at the Jewish embassy in Washington, is no mystery. Sadly, what happened in Minnesota this weekend was almost predictable. I mean, there was two assassination attempts on Donald Trump even before the election.

Who is fanning the flames of hatred in our country? The numbers are legion - especially with our leaders. Want this fixed Timmy? We need to start by taking a long hard look in the mirror.

Civil war, civil unrest, or what?

"Yesterday should resonate with all of us like a clarion bell. A wake-up call. But after seeing the news last night, it did not. From 'No Kings' rallies to the anti-ICE riots, to cold blooded murders, yesterday was far from our best day. In fact, it was our carnal nature on display. It was shameful, just shameful."

Yesterday was a dark day for humanity. Here we are, barely a week before summer officially starts, and all hell seems to be breaking loose. Yesterday, I penned an article very early in the morning, long before the news hit of the assassination of Melissa Hortman and her husband. I thought my post was upbeat, as it was about the day being one of honoring the flag, honoring the 250th birthday of the US Army, the start of Father's Day weekend, and celebrating the 79th birthday of Donald Trump. All good things. But hidden in the soft underbelly of yesterday, was a dark reality. This country, and this world, are in trouble. We are knee deep in civil war, civil unrest, and a Middle East war.

The shock wave of the assassinations as well as the attempted assassinations from yesterday should have shocked us all like a bolt out of the blue. It should have sobered us and brought us to our knees. But it did not. Why? When the shots rang out early in the morning, it should have, or could have, been the harbinger of a civil war (of sorts). But no worries - the civil unrest which was planned for later in the day went on anyway. No moments of stunned silence, no introspection as Americans - the civil unrest went on. The unexplainable "No Kings" events, and even worse than those, the continuation of the Anti-ICE protests.

Trying to watch the national news last night was daunting. It was a confluence of follow-up stories on the Minnesota shootings, playbacks from the Army parade in Washington DC, the very odd "No Kings" rallies, the anti-ICE riots in LA, and the carnage of war in Iran and Israel. Man's inhumanity to man is all I could think of. Maybe we are in the End Times. These are all signs of the coming apocalypse. I do know this however, and I will say this - as a member of humanity, yesterday was not our finest hour. Not even close.

Some counter protests sprung up yesterday which had my full support. They should have had support from all of us. They were called "No Kings but Jesus". Amen to that. And we need Jesus more than ever right now. For our political discord and distrust to devolve into cold blooded murders, is just plain evil. For the unruly and undisciplined to go into the streets to cause mayhem and destruction is wrong. That has nothing to do with the First Amendment. Nothing. These are just barbarians, who burn, destroy, hurt and insult.

America, we need to wake up. The world is on fire right now, and we certainly don't need to add to that fire. Hate has become the elixir that many need to consume on a daily basis. For those who went to a "No Kings" rally or an anti-ICE riot, they all need to have some introspection time today. Is this the intolerance you want in your country? Where disagreements turn into a death sentence?

Yesterday should resonate with all of us like a clarion bell. A wake-up call. But after seeing the news last night, it did not. From "No Kings" to the anti-ICE riots, to cold blooded murders, yesterday was far from our best day. In fact, it was our carnal nature on display. It was shameful, just shameful.

Father's Day, Flag Day, Army Day, and POTUS Birthday!

"Last but certainly not least, I should give a shout out to our current president Donald J. Trump. The man the lefties love to hate, is not hated at all by the patriots and citizens of this great country. This man has stood against the headwinds, the lawfare, the Soros funded demonstrations - just to fix the cleanup on aisle Biden."

In the Divided States of America, the patriots and citizens indeed have something to celebrate today! First and foremost, it is Flag Day. This annual celebration is for those who love and honor our wonderful flag. Not the Somali flag, which through the magic of the Democrats when they held all the power, somehow morphed into our new state flag. No, I am talking about the "stars and bars", "Old Glory", our flag which sums up liberty and freedom for all who legally live here.

Father's Day is tomorrow, but I lumped it in with today. Why? Many families celebrate Father's Day on Saturday instead of Sunday. To me, Mother's Day should be Mother's Weekend, and same with Father's Day - all weekend. Whether you are a father or had one, this is a very special day. As we age, we realize just how important our fathers are or were to us. We also realize what a blessing it is to become a father. I loved my dad, and I miss him. Each and every day, I miss him.

And how about a hat's off and cheer for those who have served, are serving, and will serve in our United States Army! The Army, which is 250 years young today, is our first line protector. "This we will defend" is a tried-and-true motto of this elite fighting force. My dad was in the Army. Same with my cousins. I was the "odd duck" in the family by joining the Navy. But I feel the same about the Navy. Proud heritage. Our Army, just a bit older than our country, is special. Needed. Happy birthday US Army! May you have many, many more!

Last but certainly not least, I should give a shout out to our current president Donald J. Trump. The man the lefties love to hate, is not hated at all by the patriots and citizens of this great country. This man has stood against the headwinds, the lawfare, the Soros funded demonstrations - just to fix the cleanup on aisle Biden. How big is the needed cleanup? Biblical proportions. But Donald Trump, maybe the best president ever, is the man for the job. Happy birthday sir! You are 79 years young, with more energy and ideas than the energizer bunny.

Did I mention the mutts and malcontents are having protests today? On this most special day, they are protesting just about everything. The authoritarian and statist blue governors and mayors hate our president - hate our country. Why? This country represents the people, not the special interests. Same with Donald Trump. He does not play for China, and against America, like others in Washington and St. Paul.

Even though Tim Walz said he hoped it would rain on the Army's parade today (yes, Walz is a putz), it will be a wonderful day for the true believers. For those on the other side, the constant naysayers, the door is there for you to leave.

And now Iran, it is your move

"People of Iran - time is not your friend. Israel is absolutely resolute in their mission. Iran, with the IRGC in charge - must go. It is your move Iran, the next wave of attacks by Israel are already planned and ready to execute. Choose wisely."

Well, the long-awaited war in the Middle East has finally come. Or has it? Last night, Israel hit Iran twice. About 200 F-35(I) jets flew basically undetected all the way from Israel to Iran. They did some sizeable damage to the IRGC. Killed six or so high-level nuclear scientists and eliminated some higher up generals in the IRGC. Of course, Iran threatened immediate revenge on Iran and the US. Wait - what? We were not involved - why us? Because Iran still looks at us as the "Great Satan" with Israel only being a lesser evil.

Both Trump and Rubio immediately made it known vile channels that we were not involved in this attack. In fact, Trump told Iran the next attack by Israel could be more severe - it might be time to make a deal at the negotiation table. Rubio warned them NOT to attack our bases or personal in the region. That would pull us into this war. What does all this mean? It is your call now Iran. Choose wisely.

So far, Iran has only responded to Israel with a drone attack. About 100 or so drones took the eight-hour flight into Israel. Most were swatted down before they reached Israeli airspace. No big deal. But the big deal is this - Iran has about 2,000 ballistic missiles. Even though Iran was short on time in getting some of them tipped with nuclear warheads, ballistic missiles, even with conventional warheads, are very hard to defend against. They could be a game changer in this war.

Trump is convinced that Iran will be fine once the people get rid of the IRGC. He thinks the people are fed up with this theocracy. I know that we are also. But know this - just like with China, the people might be good, but the CCP is corrupt. If we get sucked into this war, many will die in Iran. The time for revolution is now. Iran must shed the IRGC so peace can return to the Persian people.

People of Iran - time is not your friend. Israel is absolutely resolute in their mission. Iran, with the IRGC in charge - must go. It is your move Iran, the next wave of attacks by Israel are already planned and ready to execute. Choose wisely.

Living in the land of graft

"I have an idea. Let's take about 200 of the IRS new hires, hired towards the end of the Biden regime, and put them on this case. They were hired to look for real cheating, real graft (supposedly) - well, here it is. But where is the money which was stolen?"

Tim Walz. Enough said? This carpetbagger from Nebraska does not know a Dit from a DUH. It is bad enough he (and Jacob Frey) let the city of Minneapolis burn down in 2020, but this Feeding our Future thing just keeps getting worse and worse all the time.

A very disturbing story in today's Twin City paper says it all. As bad as the Feeding our Future scandal has been so far, it might just be a drop in the bucket. Amiee Bock, and her army of Somali helpers, saw something that few others noticed. They could come up with a scheme, a vile concoction of graft and theft, and rob the City of Minneapolis, the State of Minnesota, and the US Government - blind. Who was the cop who was supposed to keep an eye on the millions and millions of dollars spent on nothing? Why, Tim Walz, of course!

One of the feds who is still looking into this case, summed it up with a thud. (My paraphrase) -"This theft could have involved hundreds of more perps. We just don't have the resources." Wow! What this tells me is this group of Somalis, who come from a dirt-poor country, saw Minnesota as an easy target for a battleship. In other words, just think - getting paid for doing NOTHING. No meals served, and getting paid by this unlimited fund of money. And meanwhile, Tim Walz was doing what he was really good at - NOTHING.

I have an idea. Let's take about 200 of the IRS new hires, hired towards the end of the Biden regime, and put them on this case. They were hired to look for real cheating, real graft (supposedly) - well, here it is. But where is the money which was stolen? Check the money (wire) transfers. It could be long gone, somewhere overseas. Meanwhile, the suckers called Minnesota taxpayers, take it in the shorts once again.

Tim Walz needs to be drummed out of office. What a waste of space. Meanwhile, living in the land of graft...

China and the trust issue

"To use an old Navy expression, these guys are bad rice. Do I trust China's government? Not a smidge."

What is it about China which brings out so many bad feelings? What is it about China that makes our president want to kick all of them off our colleges and universities? What is it about China that makes Chinese doctorate students try and smuggle in extremely destructive viruses to ruin our food supply? What is it about China to want to unleash a bioterrorism virus such as COVID - 19 from the Wuhan Lab? To use an old Navy expression, these guys are bad rice. Do I trust China's government? Not a smidge.

Who can forget the Chinese "weather balloon", which just by coincidence, happened to float over many of our sensitive bases. What is next for them - drones by the thousands? Cyber-attacks on our infrastructure? I am going to say something which will sound provocative to some. We are at war with China right now. It may be a cold war, but it is a war. And we give these people the "keys to the kingdom". Biden gave them unfettered access to many areas they had no business being in. They are buying up our farmland, especially close to our military bases. We need to WAKE UP!

Ever since 1949 when Mao won the revolution in China, our relationship with China has gone downhill. President Xi played Joe Biden like a fiddle. And number one son (Hunter) had some relationships with China which stunk.

But not President Trump. He is wise to what is going on. Pete Hegseth is also very cognizant of the vile trajectory that China is on. Will this cold war with China boil over and become a shooting war? It might, and it might happen at any time.

Ronald Reagan taught us to "trust yet verify". With China, I will skip the trust thing and go right into the verify thing. I have studied China since 1970. I lived (was stationed) within spitting distance of China for a year and a half. I keep hearing that it is the people who are good, and the government is corrupt. To that I say this to the people - for 75 years you have had the same type of government. Until you take care of getting a new government, you and your government are being painted with the same brush.

Are we EVER going to fix Social Security?

"Seniors - save your nickels and dimes. When 2035 comes, the good times will have come and gone. The time for fixing Social Security will have come and gone. Keep a good relationship going with your kids and grandies - you might be living with them from 2035 onward."

If you ever want to really tick off a Democrat, refer to Social Security as a "Ponzi scheme". Why? It really is one. This fund, which was set up decades ago, seems to have morphed in form and purpose. More people were supposed to have died prior to reaching the age to access it. And the number of people putting into the fund was very plentiful in the old days. Today - not so much. What does all this add up to? Social Security might be running out of enough money to pay full benefits by 2035.

How has it changed in its purpose? This once "safety net" fund, is now a critical part of many seniors' retirement plans. Why? Fewer companies are offering pension plans. Plus, some self-directed IRA accounts, 401K or 403B accounts - imploded. And money in the bank pays peanuts for interest these days. The bottom line is this - some seniors had the opportunity to plan a good retirement sans Social Security, and others did not. Those who did not, really and truly need Social Security to live on.

Unfortunately, the term Social Security is still the third rail in politics. Just mention the term, and the other side instantly accuses you of trying to "gut" the fund. Even suggesting it needs to be fixed or reformed, is a Washinton DC "no-no". Instead of acting bold and decisive, the DC crowd just ignores it, and lets it get worse and worse every year. What some prognosticators are now saying, is by 2035 seniors will need to take a 25% to 35% cut in benefits to keep the fund going for a few more years. Who wants to deliver that ugly message?

When is the best time to fix Social Security? A few years back would be the best answer. The second-best answer is right now. To wait until the hammer comes down in 2035 would be the worst answer. I will say this however - having the DOGE Team go into the fund to look for fraud, waste and abuse was a good start. Will that fix the problem? Probably not, but it will give us some more runway to operate on.

Years ago, before he became the Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan had some good ideas on how to reform Social Security. What happened to those good ideas? Gone. Too hard. Too political. It seems many think having a broken and dying system is better than trying a new one. Then so be it.

Seniors - save your nickels and dimes. When 2035 comes, the good times will have come and gone. The time for fixing Social Security will have come and gone. Keep a good relationship going with your kids and grandies - you might be living with them from 2035 onward.
