Is the worst yet to come?

"Can we live as a nation under socialist governance? No, no and no again!

Bifurcation. Means splitting into two parts. Wait - are we not split into two parts already? Pretty much, yes. But just look at Minnesota. It was reported (again) today that Trump is very popular in outstate Minnesota. But as popular as a case of herpes in the metro area. ICE is a hated group of storm troopers in the metro area. But outstate? They are a welcomed group of law enforcement who keeps us safe from unwelcomed interlopers. We are two states, living within the same boundary. Just like our country has become two nations living inside of the same boundary. Go figure.

Could it get worse? Oh, yes it could. Let's take New York City. Right now, even though Eric Adams has much more which could be desired, we have a whole host of nut balls who are vying to be the next mayor. Yes, even Andrew Cuomo is back in the picture. After his debacle as governor, he has the gall to run for mayor of our largest city.

But one of the front runners for NYC mayor who is getting a lot of buzz right now is a guy named Zohran Mamdani. He is a self-professed democratic socialist. After hearing about him and reading his platform, I disagree - he is a full-fledged commie. Do you mean Bird, that this guy could actually be worse than Bill de Blasio? Oh, yes - by a long shot. Mamdani is the sultan of free. Free this, free that - just what most run of the mill New Yorkers like to hear. Who is going to pay for all this free stuff? The rich taxpayers, of course!

We have to remember who New York has produced in the past. Bernie Sanders, our favorite socialist was born in New York. AOC, the socialist bartender who somehow became a congressperson is from New York. Kathy Hochel is a native New Yorker. What is wrong with this state? Why California and New York, have become the land of extremes is beyond me. Both were good states at one time. Now they are almost uninhabitable. People (and money) are fleeing those high tax hellscapes as fast as their feet can take them.

How bad can things really get in our country? I think we got a glimpse of it under Obama. Then a much longer glimpse of it under Biden. It is almost amusing. Not too long ago, the local newspaper was complaining that once our city dwellers get "outstate" (just outside of the beltway) and started seeing all the Trump signs and hearing conservative lingo, they felt "uncomfortable". Why? They left their bubble. Once they visited the lands where the citizens and patriots live, where the real backbone of this country lives, they did not like it. Not at all.

Some have accused us in the outstate of looking like a Normal Rockwell painting or acting like Ozzie and Harriet clones. Fine, I am good with that. Why? We love God, family, kids, freedom, liberty and fair justice. It really is as simple as that.
