Owned, operated, and sickened (again) by the PRC

I just saw this article on the news yesterday. Truthfully - due to the blitzkrieg of "stuff" the Biden Administration has thrown at us during the past 18 months, I had forgotten about it. And I shouldn't have. This is very important. And it also tells us something about how owned and operated Joe Biden is by the PRC. Plus, along the irony of Biden being this owned and operated by the PRC, he was also been made sick with the Wuhan Flu - twice in less than a month. Karma?

The article I am talking about, had to do with the PRC spying on America. During the Trump Administration, the Donald was all over ChiCom spying. He was wise to what the ChiComs were doing to us. Then came the 2020 election. Biden, in his "do everything opposite if what Trump did", immediately ceased FBI surveillance on PRC assets in the United States. Biden thought that it was "racist" what Trump was doing. Anti-Chinese. So, for the past 18 months, the lid has been off the cookie jar. Good for China, bad for the United States. And VERY good for the Biden Crime Family.

It is highly suspected, and somewhat known even though it is still cloaked in secrecy, that Hunter Biden's laptop has a treasure trove of information in it. Some of it might be salacious, but most is about the connection of Red China to the Biden family.

As many of the left (yes, even some RINOs), have had their undies in a bundle over January 6th, the real crime against America has been going on right under our noses. We have been sold out by the family of the guy who has been in Washington for over 40 years. 

James Biden, Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, and who knows how many other shirt tailed Biden's relative are involved in this national crime. How bad is it? When this family is finally put under the microscope, we might find sedition, treason or worse. This current administration has turned a blind eye, while China has trained the Mexican Cartels to not only smuggle fentanyl over our southern border, but now also how to manufacture it. Meanwhile, the CDC estimates that over 150 Americans (many of them young), die from fentanyl poisoning each and every day. For those who are complacent in this, it is just plain murder.

The RINOs who crossed over to vote for Biden instead of the "mean tweeter", have traded a mild headache, for terminal cancer. We now have the most corrupt administration in the history of this great nation.

I am reminded of that old adage, "Cheer up, things could be worse". So in November of 2020, many cheered up and voted for the Biden Crime Family. And now things did get worse.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Be careful of who you vote for folks, you might end up voting for a viper instead of a victor.  

   

Who really owns the China Sea?

"Life would sure be a lot simpler if countries like Ukraine and Taiwan could vote to see if they wanted to be part of Russia or Red China. If the vote came up no, then case closed. Russia and Red China would have no right to those counties. Sovereign countries are sovereign countries."

Who really owns the China Sea? I suppose if you asked Chairman Xi, he would tell you he does. Especially the South China Sea. And who gave him the right to say that? Well, he did. But here are the facts. All ocean, save for a country's claim of territorial or economic border, is international water. China has a 12 nautical mile territorial sea, a 24 mile contiguous zone, and a 200 mile exclusive economic zone. That is it. That is all they may lay claim to (legally). 

The country of Taiwan has some interesting borders. It lies between the East China Sea, the South China Sea, Pacific Ocean, the Taiwan Straight, and the Luzon Straight. It is about 100 miles from Red China. In nobody's legal definition, does Taiwan fall within Red China's legal territory. Sorry - those are just the facts.

The Speaker of the House might be flying to Taiwan for a visit. In the eyes of the Chinese, this is like insulting their mothers. So what is the problem? Do we need to violate Chinese air space to get to Taiwan? No. Will this trip be a threat to Red China? Again, no. But in the mind of Xi, the expansionist dictator, Taiwan belongs to him. Taiwan is a rogue state, which belongs to Red China. For us to visit Taiwan without Xi's consent, is tantamount to an act of war.

If the shoe were on the other foot, and Xi wanted to visit Canada or Mexico for trade talks, and we told him no, as those two countries kind of belonged to us, that would not stand. First off, both Canada and Mexico would say they do not belong to us (kind of like Taiwan telling China that). And we would have no international standing to tell China to stay away (kind of like China has no legal standing to tell us to stay away from Taiwan).

The one good thing which has happened this year, is the makeup is off the pigs. Both Russia and China have shown the world just what they are. Brutal dictators. Expansionists. Hegemonists. Murderers. Human rights abusers. And in Russia's case - war criminals.

If push comes to shove in the western Pacific, things could turn ugly real fast. It would not just be the United States going against Red China - Japan, the PI, Australia, South Korea, Viet Nam, and maybe NATO could also be involved on our side. Russia has already said they are supporting Red China. That would leave the door open for North Korea, and Iran to also join the fray. It would be another world war.

Life would sure be a lot simpler if countries like Ukraine and Taiwan could vote to see if they wanted to be part of Russia or Red China. If the vote came up no, then case closed. Russia and Red China would have no right to those counties. Sovereign countries are sovereign countries. Period. If we don't abide by that, we are no better than we were 1,000 years ago. Might makes right. If we conquer you, then it sucks being you.

      

Gaslighting recessions and 3,000 cars

"In any event, today will be another Orwellian day, where our government practices groupthink. Up is down, black is white, you decide which is right. Recession, or car thefts - just part of the landscape now. Might as well sit back and enjoy them, as that is what we are being told to do." 

What kind of a title is that for a post, Bird? Are they related? Not a bit. However, I did want to address both of these timely issues. Rather than take care of them in two separate blog posts, I decided to do it all at once. So here it goes.

Yesterday, we found out that we were in a recession. Well, duh! Most of us have known that for quite a while. But hold on here. Seems that Slo Joe does not want to admit this almost stagflation of an economy, is in recession. But wait - we have had two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth. Yea - so what? We have a new sheriff in town now, with new parameters. Recession? Not so fast, cowboy.

Joe is quick to point out that we have had a ton of jobs "created". Not really. We have had a bunch of the jobs which disappeared during the pandemic, and are now starting to come back. Never mind the fact we still have millions of jobs which are unfilled. And because of the labor shortage, the most basic of all jobs are paying $15/hour. That is why just going out for a simple breakfast these days cost $40 for two people. Outrageous. 

If you think we are in a recession (so sayeth the wizards of smart in this administration), don't believe your lying eyes. I know, I know. If we had a Republican President right now, we would not only be in a recession, but maybe a full out depression. But with Joe Biden, it is all cool, man. Don't sweat it. Things are really okay - they just seem real bad.

Car. 3,000 cars. That is how many have been stolen in Minneapolis so far this year. What? Wait - how can that be? Even though we are in a recession, the crime industry is doing just fine, thank you. If not stealing catalytic converters off of cars, it is stealing the entire car instead. But can't the cops stop all of this? Cops? What cops? Remember, the City Council did not want any cops. Only influencers, decomplicators, and violence defusors. 

Some of the more enlightened and seasoned commentators are now fully speaking their minds. "In all my years, I have never seen anything like this." Like what? Like Biden's America. If we could go back in time even ten years, and tell the story of Biden's America, few would believe us - even those on our side of the fence.

And now Taiwan...

The other day on the news, I heard something very unsettling. It was an air raid siren going off. The "tease" was the commentator said this was going off over a major city. But it was not an American nor NATO city (thank God) - it was Taipei. Why? Because the good folks in Taiwan firmly believe the big meanies from Red China are going to invade them. "Annex" them, just like Russia is trying to "annex" Ukraine.

Taiwan. The last island of hope for a normal China. The PRC next door however, don't see it that way. They look at Taiwan as the misbehaving child who moved out without permission. This island nation, with a land mass of about three times what Hawaii is, has many mountains and rivers. It is home to over 23 million people. It is also home to the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, which makes over 92% of some of the world's most sophisticated computer chips. 

Now I am going to say something many people who know me will find hard to believe. I support our current Speaker of the House - Ms. Nancy. Not on much, but I do on her visiting our ally in the western Pacific, Taiwan. The PRC however, are madder than wet hens, at even the idea that Pelosi may visit. Biden does not like it, nor does his SecDef. Why not? Good question. Maybe China appeasement has become way too familiar with some in our government.

Mainland China has a rich history. That is, until 1949, when Mao took over. Now with Xi, this "bully" thing continues in China. I don't trust them. I did not trust them when I served in Okinawa. Let's just say I had the chance to peek under their tent.

I think Red China will make a play for Taiwan. And when they do, it will be a bloody affair. Maybe as bloody as Ukraine. Will we be involved, either as a proxy or direct participant? Absolutely. That is, unless our government gets "round heels" again.

I am sick and tired of these two jackasses, Russia and China, threatening us. Time to turn the table. WE need to tell both of them, that annexation of other countries WILL NOT STAND! I know, I know - that is the job of the UN (or, supposed to be).

Ms. Nancy NEEDS to make this trip. As a representative of the United States, she needs to tell the free people of Taiwan that they will remain free. We will NOT allow the PRC to subjugate or conquer them. Biden needs to tell that to Xi on his phone call today also.

Ukraine, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and any other country on this great planet deserve to live as free people. Period. End of story.       

Will he clear the field?

"My feeling is Trump will not announce until after the midterms. To do so before, might sway a few tight races. Unless - he announces he will not run. Then (in my opinion), it will not matter if he announces before or after the midterms." 

Will he or won't he? That is the question which is resonating in most GOP hallways today. Donald Trump has made his mind up. The only question is will he spill the beans before or after the midterms. Already the sides are lining up. The Trump loyalists are hoping against hope that he runs again. That Donald Trump has his second term. On the other hand, the socialists and the GOP NEVER TRUMPERS are once again aligned. If Trump decides to run again, this cabal of Trump haters will fight against him with ever fiber in their bodies.

I like Donald Trump. I think he did some very good things for our country. Like, 100 times better than what we have now. That being said, I would like to see Ron DeSantis or Senator Tom Cotton throw their hats in the ring. Maybe even Senator Josh Hawley. Why? Donald Trump's ability to really piss people off, works against him. Works against his agenda. Some say his bellicose manner is his greatest strength - others think it might be his achilleas heal.

Many analysts think that if Trump runs, it will clear the field. Maybe all except DeSantis. My biggest fear is this. Trump might galvanize the socialists so much, that the GOP would not be able to poach many blue voters in 2024. As we all know, in order to win a national election, you first need your base, then a good share of the independents, and then some voters from the other side of the fence.

My feeling is Trump will not announce until after the midterms. To do so before, might sway a few tight races. Unless - he announces he will not run. Then (in my opinion), it will not matter if he announces before or after the midterms. 

How ever it turns out, I will always think of Trump as a good man, but not a perfect man. He was a good President - his report card looks pretty good, especially compared to Joe Biden. In any event, first things first. We MUST have a very good showing in the midterms. Take the House for sure, and hopefully the Senate. As far as the White House is concerned, that is a topic for another day.  

Bad to the bone

Could someone please explain to me, in words which are short and simple so I can understand them, what is the heck has happened to the streets in America? All of a sudden, NYC has decided to give Chicago a run for the most crime riddled city in America. But what is happening in New York right now, has all the hallmarks of a town without pity. Total carnage and carnal behavior. New York has taken the term "mean streets" to an entire different level.

On the news today, was a story about a particularly gruesome crime. A pedestrian was crossing the street, when he (or she) was struck by a car. The thugs riding in the car immediately disembarked. To help the victim? No. To rob that person. The person might have been dead, dying, or just severely injured. To the thugs, it did not matter. This was just a "mark" waiting to be robbed.

Want to ride the subway in New York? No thanks for me. As bad as the LRT system has become in the Twin Cities, the subway system in New York is many times worse. Very few cops, and lots of crime. As of late, it is common to hear of someone being pushed onto the tracks, right in front of an approaching subway train. Horrible, just horrible. The thugs in this town are bad - bad to the bone.

A guest on the news was asked about the crime in New York. Without hesitation, he said God is the issue. God has been taken out of the schools, activities, the home - everything. Here is what I think the guest was trying to say. Even though this is a broken world, God is still involved. If however, we want to shun God, He will show us what a truly carnal world looks like. We need to ask God to back into every part of our lives. Our carnal nature is no match for God, if we let Him in. If we don't, what is happening in New York, Chicago, and other cities - will continue. Maybe get worse.

Back in the 1950's and 1960's, we were very proud of our cities. We took Russian officials on tours of Detroit, as it was "the city which worked". Today, people who know better, stay as far away from large cities as possible. Detroit has gone from "the city which worked", to looking like a bombed out city in Ukraine. Minneapolis still has scars from the George Floyd lawless mayhem.

Do we need more cops? Funny question, since many big blue cities either wanted their police force unfunded, or "re-imagined". Right now, I don't think there are enough cops in the entire country to maintain order in many of these corrupt cities. 

It is best just to stand back, as big blue cities devolve into a sink hole of crime and grief. It does not have to be this way. But this is our choice. A world in which man thinks he is in charge, instead of God. The results are right in front of us, for all to see. And it ain't pretty.  

Days of Ezekiel?

"Obama opened the door for Iran to become a nuclear superpower. Gave then a wad of cash to allow them to be the number one terror state in the world. If we want to see where bad stuff can happen, all one needs to do is look at the former kingdom of Persia." 

For those who think the Holy Bible is just a book of stories and fables, can pass this post by. For those deep in the faith, this post will come as no surprise. For those who are "catatonic Christians" (my wife and I were for years), you might find this post of interest. Or downright scary. 

Eschatology. The study of the end of our age. The end of this material world as we know it. Most people who study this, use the Holy Bible as their primary source. Why? It is full of predictions. How many? About 2,500. Of those, about 2,000 have been fulfilled. But one of the most important and timely predictions was the reinstatement of Israel in 1948. Created in one day. To many Eschatologists, that was the point which started our final countdown.

Now, I don't study Eschatology. I am far from an expert. I do know this however, from listening to Bible scholars who are learned on this subject - the end times could be very close - and they have NOTHING to do with global warming. They do however, have everything to do with Russia and Iran. Or, in the final battle, when they will attack Israel. 

I am very concerned about any cozy relationship which is forming between Russia and Iran. This war in Ukraine might just be the overture for a new "axis of evil". But what about Turkey, a member of NATO? Erdogan loves playing both sides of the street. He is not to be trusted. But would he forsake NATO to join this new band of blood brothers? I sure hope not.

Armageddon, Gog and Magog - all center around Israel. Ukraine needs to be watched, but so does Iran. Some think that Putin might be the Anti-Christ. Others think he (or she) has yet to show. 

If you have not been a page turner in the Holy Bible for years, now might be a good time to re-establish that habit. This book of knowledge and hope, was given to us for a reason. It is timeless, and it is vital - especially today. 

One final thing. If your church focuses its messaging and teaching from the Bible, you are in the right place and the right time. However, if your church tries to bend the Bible around its messaging, cherry picking from the Bible what they want, and ignoring parts which are uncomfortable - look for a different church - and quickly.
