A new day, a new beginning

"What is next on the horizon? Don't know. I do know this however - every freedom loving, Constitution loving patriot in this great country is also tasting the sweetness of victory this morning."

I remember when I was growing up, my folks telling me if I really wanted something badly enough, badly enough to really work for it, badly enough to sacrifice for it, when I did finally obtain that "something", the "taste" would be very sweet.

What our country has just gone through has been torturous. Plain and simple. It brought out the very worse in many people. People who looked at the confirmation of Judge Kavanaugh (now Justice, thank you), to be a life or death event. The Left painted this fine man to be a combination of Lenin, Stalin, Jack the Ripper as well as the Anti-Christ.

Every test conceived was thrown at Brett Kavanaugh. Lies, slander, gossip, innuendo, everything. Not only him, but also his family. This man who had written over 300 opinions on the DC Circuit Court of Appeals, where some of his opinions were copied and pasted directly into High Court determinations, was now being besmirched. Not only was he not fit to be on the High Court, some were even asking why he was not in jail. Huh?

A lesser man would quit, Thrown in the towel. I think I might have. The pressure was unrelenting. Yet as much support as the President and others were giving Kavanaugh, the burden ultimately rested on his shoulders. Was this all worth it? To get on the High Court and give deference to our Constitution? To the rule of law? To stand arm in arm with fellow orignialist Justice Gorsuch to protect our God given rights? Justice Kavanaugh thought yes, and took the undeserved 40 lashes from the crazed Left.

But this morning, as the day dawns over the Potomac, Brett Kavanaugh wakes up for the first time in his life as a Associate Justice in the Supreme Court. Oh, how sweet that must taste, after the gauntlet he had to endure! But now it is over. He is in. And to the Left, please let me play those famous words you folks came up during the Clinton dirty blue dress mess. It is time to MOVE ON.

One final thing about the President who nominated both Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh to be on the bench. Some like the President's style, some do not. How he communicates via Twitter is always up for debate. However (comma), there should be NO argument about the results the country has seen since Donald Trump was inaugurated. The two new Supreme Court Justices are only a small part of the winning we have experienced.

What is next on the horizon? Don't know. I do know this however - every freedom loving, Constitution loving patriot in this great country is also tasting the sweetness of victory this morning. It truly is a new day with a new beginning. MAGA!
