Our new Benedict Arnold

John Kasich, the former Republican Governor of Ohio, also had higher aspirations. He wanted to be President. He tried twice - in 2000 and 2016. Both times, he did not get very far. Why is that? He thought the country had an appetite for a Republican, more left leaning than a RINO. He was wrong. He had no juice. No message. No nothing. And now, he has committed political suicide.

Just like a character in Star Wars, Kasich has decided to venture over to the dark side. To endorse the newest Sith Lord (Biden). Not only endorse him, but also speak at the DNC convention, for crying out loud! What the hell has happened to this "Republican"?

Now Kasich is totally dead to both the conservatives and the Republicans. He can never come home again. What he did not realize, is a truth which goes back to the days of Benedict Arnold and beyond. Traitors have only a brief moment of glory. After the convention, the Democrats will want nothing to do with Kasich. They won't trust him. A traitor once, is a traitor always. He is now toxic.

Trump was right when he said we have a deep state, as well as an entire slate of confederate Republicans in our midst. They need to be outed. Pulled out like weeds. Some have said, we have certain establishment Republicans, who have consumed the Washington water way too long. So long, they have become Democrat "light". Those are the folks who need to be purged. We should have fired Kasich (pulled his Republican card), long before he became a turncoat.

Soon this "virtual" DNC convention will be over, and fade from everyone's memory. That is, except for our newest Benedict Arnold. He will be remembered by many of us, for a long, long time. When we were young, we learned that cheaters never prosper. Well the same holds true for traitors.
