Mocking God

"The question always begs to be asked - why mock God? It is a very dangerous thing to do. The wrath of God is not a myth - it will happen." 

Galatians 6:7 - Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

As a country, how are we doing on this one? Should we ask the Dodger Organization? About the "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence"? Or how about Target Corp, for hiring a Satanist to be the designer on some trans clothes for "Pride"? Or some of our churches today, whom are suppose to be the Bride of Christ, who are bending and changing to meet the world, rather than have the world bend and change to meet them?  

Just read an article that Tammy Baldwin is actively supporting the "Sisters". Who is Tammy? A DEMOCRAT Senator from Wisconsin. Way to go Tammy! Way to set the example for all the boys and girls in Wisconsin who just might, look up to our elected officials. But the DEMOCRAT Party is the party who booed God at their convention. And the DEMOCRATS are now the party of abortion. What about pro-life DEMOCRATS? They have gone the way of the Dodo Bird. Now DEMOCRATS are so far over the edge, many are changing their name to be the DEMOCRAT SOCIALIST PARTY.

Many Christians feel, especially those who study the end times (eschatology) as defined in the Holy Bible, that the clock is ticking. We are in the final countdown before Christ returns. For those who mock God or deny Christ, that will NOT be a good day for them. But for those who love God and follow Christ, it will be a day of promise. 

The question always begs to be asked - why mock God? It is a very dangerous thing to do. The wrath of God is not a myth - it will happen. But God loves us with a deep agape love. So much so, there is nothing we can do which is so good, that God will love us more. And - there is nothing we can do which is so bad that God will love us less. BUT - we must stop. Repent. Turn away from sin. 

How did we get to this place in our country? Where everything is fine and normal, and nothing is off limits? Consider the following Bible passage:

Isaiah 5:20 - Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 

The words of warning could not be more clear. If one are practices evil, and then calls it good, that person is on thin ice indeed. We need to stand up for our country. Stand up for our faith in God Almighty. This twisting of America has gone far enough - in fact, way too far. We need to stop this madness. We need to repent for what we have done. And we need to turn back to God. Now.
