The great Minnesota makeover

"Elections have consequences. Voting stupid has consequences. Minnesota now has the government it deserves. For us Boomers, we can only shake our heads in disbelief on what happened this year."

Well, it is done. The legislative session from hell is now over. Somehow the kids wrestled away the keys from the voters. Childish, churlish and evil things quickly started to happen. I know this - our two representatives (whom we see most every Sunday), both developed the "1,000 yard stare" from this session. It is as if they have a form of PTSD.

Earlier this week, Governor Clueless signed into law the weed bill. That will forever change the state. For those who think having legal weed will make us look chic and cosmopolitan - think again. It is a gateway to things which are far worse. Just like legalized gay marriage was a gateway to pedophilia, weed will be a gateway to crack and black tar heroin. But don't worry - Governor Turnbuckle wants to be our weed commissioner. Oh, joy.

Just to show you how nuts this session was, Minnesota was one of only a handful of states which chose to not let teenagers work longer hours. Why? Who knows. However - if you are a teen and want to sexually mutilate yourself, or a teen which wants to carry a pregnancy up to the point of birth and then abort it - go for it. Minnesota will be your sanctuary home for life.

Minnesota has changed folks. For those nimrods who wanted "the great reset" in Minnesota, you got it. Soon you will find out just what you did get. More and more money will leave the state. Some companies, who had an inclination to relocate here, are now reconsidering that option. Minnesota has become more of a business unfriendly, senior unfriendly, wealth unfriendly, and crime ridden state.

Our education sucks, and the schools are controlled of the cabal of government and unions. We pour a boatload of money into education, and the results keep slipping. What these bright bulbs decided to do? Pour more good money after bad. Two years from now, Education Minnesota will be blaming the legislature for the crappy results our kids are getting. Seen that movie over and over and over again.

I think we should erect a statue to Tim Walz. We could put it close to Floyd square. Years from now, when the dazed and confused wake up and smell the coffee (or dung), they can go see the statue of Walz to be remind them of days gone by. Minnesota will be a hollowed out gulag by then, most all freedoms will be eviscerated, and Minneapolis will look like the twin city to Detroit or Chicago.

Elections have consequences. Voting stupid has consequences. Minnesota now has the government it deserves. For us Boomers, we can only shake our heads in disbelief on what happened this year.

For the Gen X generation and beyond - this stinky turd now belongs to you. Good luck to you all.
