And the winner is - China?

This "three day war" in Ukraine is really taxing everyone's ammo stockpiles. Russia for sure, as this minor incursion into Ukraine should have only taken a small dent in Russia's supplies. But this "three day war" is now celebrating its one year anniversary. After fighting like crazy for one year now, who is winning? Death is winning. Lots and lots of death. Russia is running out of front line elite troops, and both sides are running low on ammo. 

Truthfully, this war caught NATO and the US a bit flat footed. We are in peacetime man! What do we need huge stockpiles of weapons for? Besides, we just "donated" a ton of our best weapons to the Taliban in Afghanistan. But with this war raging like an out of control wildfire, some experts are thinking we could be at the same place this time next year, celebrating the two year anniversary of this war. 

With both Russia and NATO scrounging for weapons to keep the fight going, who will be the eventual winner? Ready for this? China. China? But, they are not a part of this thing! Not yet, but they might start supplying some lethal weapons to Russia. However, China is smart. They won't supply enough weapons to a battle on the other side of the world, when they will need plenty of ammo close by to take Taiwan. Especially, if the US and Japan try to intercede.

Over the past few years, when the United States has been lulled to sleep (militarily), as well as the powers that be trying to "PC" our forces, China has been going to town. All of a sudden, China's military is on par with the United States. To counter a Chinese invasion of Taiwan right now, would take money we don't have to spend. In other words, we don't have enough weapons stockpiled to do much. And without a strong and prepared United States in the western Pacific, it will be easy pickings for China to take what they want. And when that happens, look for North Korea to join the fray. 

But have no doubt - if we don't get our military supply chains going on hyper-speed to catch up with China, the western Pacific could be lost. China has all but come out publicly and said they will move on Taiwan before 2027. That is right around the corner.
