Drug cartel or terrorist organization

"It is time for this to end. Long, long overdue. We finally have a President with guts and the ability to extend American power where it needs to be. Mr. President - forget about the Democrats. The American people will have your back on this one. Let's right this wrong!"

What is the difference between a drug cartel and a terrorist organization? Simple answer = not much. This morning on the news, the lawyer who is representing the innocent families who were SLAUGHTERED by the cartels down in Mexico, said he is petitioning the State Department to have the Mexican Drug Cartels designated at terror groups. My thought? This should have been done years ago.

Our President is itching to get into Mexico and extract some justice from this group of murderers. What is stopping him? The new President of Mexico. He is scared to death of the cartels. Why? In the past, when the corrupt government has gone up against the cartels, it did not go well for the government. Like, they got their butts handed to them. 

Here are the facts on the ground. A combination of scores of addicted people in the United States, coupled with a corrupt Mexican government, has allowed the cartels to become very powerful. So much so, it is really them who are running the country. The government is powerless and frightened. So what is the answer?

First off, having a large country with a broken government, run by gangsters on our southern border is NOT ACCEPTABLE! It is time for President Trump to do in Mexico what we did in Syria - go in uninvited, and take care of business. We have the military power to go into Mexico, and lay ruin to the cartels and their businesses. We don't need the help of the Mexican military or Mexican police, as we don't know how deeply either one has been infiltrated by the cartels. But we can do to these guys what we did to ISIS. Terrorists like the cartels who kill innocent women, children and babies - deserve NO QUARTER!

Taking care of much of the drug business in Mexico would also help with the incursions on our southern border. If there is a better solution to what I am proposing, I would love to hear it. This current policy of appeasement by the President of Mexico is a loser. It led to what happened to our American citizens. A clear message needs to be sent to whatever parts of the cartel survives our cleansing - AMERICANS ARE OFF LIMITS!
