Strong headwinds coming...

"If you are praying person, this might be a good time to start. Pray for our President, pray for our country. Pray that this evil, which has visited itself upon our land, is eviscerated. As strong as the headwinds have been, they will only get stronger in the near future."

I am afraid what many of us have feared, might soon be upon us now. As some have put it, we might be approaching the endgame of civility and governance. When tomorrow dawns, all eyes will be on Washington DC. The open impeachment hearings for President Donald J. Trump will begin. To say this is uncharted territory, would be a gross understatement. Sure, this country has been through the rigors of a Presidential impeachment before, but nothing like this. Not ever.

The table is set tomorrow for a real mess to begin. There will be nothing ordinary, clean, or fair about these open hearings. Witnesses will be called, who have been coached by their Democrat handlers, and the Republicans will be relegated to be nothing more than unwilling spectators. None of the witnesses the Republicans wanted called, will be. That is, unless there is a sea change in the heart, of the heartless Adam Schiff.

Even the whistle blower will be off limits. Did I mention that every beating heart in Washington DC and beyond now knows the name of this pajama boy clown?  And his checkered past? This guy is an DNC operative. Period. And he is a dirty as a three day old diaper. To find out what triggered this knuckle headed whistle blower, is something the public has the right to know. That is - if these were real hearings, instead of kabuki theater

Plus (and I love this one), the master of ceremonies, the man which triggered all this mud in the Ukraine (Hunter Biden) is also off limits. So another guy, who is also as dirty as a used diaper (as is his old man), will escape the spotlight. Meanwhile, the witch hunt continues on this President, who has yet to be proven to have done anything illegal.

From the beginning, this has been a sentence looking for a crime. Huh? How does that work? The Democrats have been crying "Impeachment" since Donald J. Trump upset the apple cart and beat Queen Hillary. That is the sentence. The Democrats, during the past three years, have thrown everything against the wall to see if anything would stick. So far, none has. However, the greasy Al Green (Democrat of Texas) recently let the cat out of the bag. "If we don't impeach this guy, he will probably win re-election." The first sane and truthful thing I have ever heard Al Green mutter.

One final thing. When Lindsey Graham heard the whistle blower would not be called by the House to be a witness, his response was simple. "If the whistle blower is not called to testify in the House, this thing will go nowhere in the Senate." And that is the long and short of it. All this kabuki theater in the House, will be nothing but sound and fury, signifying nothing. It will die a quick death in the Senate, and then we will be on to the 2020 election.

But here is where the headwinds really get strong. When the 2020 election is over, and Trump wins re-election, those who hate the President will still be seething. Maybe rioting in the streets. Those who love this President, will be joyful. Not rioting in the streets. The country, just like what happened to Humpty Dumpty when he fell off the wall, will remain gravely fractured. Moving this fractured country forward during the period of 2020 to 2024, will be next to impossible - no matter who is our President.

If you are praying person, this might be a good time to start. Pray for our President, pray for our country. Pray that this evil, which has visited itself upon our land, is eviscerated. As strong as the headwinds have been, they will only get stronger in the near future.

  1. You may be correct, that only Divine Intervention will curtail this rabid, insane hatred of a President, just for doing a lot of good for the country, in the face of outrageous opposition from the Mob.

But I remain torn between the expectation and desire that the Senate would summarily and disdainfully dismiss the House request (though probably unconstitutional) and the desire to see the case "retried" in the Senate, where the long process would slam hole after hole in the House case, show the public what an egregious "Schiff show" it was, hold Democrat Presidential hopefuls in D.C., and drag out the assault on Democrat perfidy and wickedness long into the campaign season.

  2. Yes, there seems a difference of opinion on whether there should be a trial.

  3. There is zero chance that this highly partisan impeachment "case," what the public has already seen of it, will result in a Senate conviction. My question is whether an abrupt dismissal or a prolonged circus trial is more likely to add to the great rift in the country. At this point I believe the "trial" would do more electoral harm to Democrats than to Republicans, and I cannot imagine the rabid Democrats will EVER accept the Trump Presidency and the division will continue.

Thinking about it now, there is nothing we can do to cure TDS, so the best we can do is to prevent the spread and to quarantine the carriers. If a prolonged exposure of this kangaroo investigation gets Democrats defeated at the polls in large numbers, that will be a good thing regardless.
