"One more thing however - watch your back. Those who have either ratted out or turned on the Clintons had some very strange (and sometimes fatal) things happen to them."
Oh the caterwauling is almost at record levels this morning. There is shock and dismay in the masses. How could she have done such a thing? A person of such a high reputation to "cook the books" for Hillary over Bernie? Or was she just a pawn at the time? What many have suspected may now have been confirmed. The fix was in for Hillary. Bernie never had a chance, no matter what his numbers said.
Donna Brazile, picked to lead the DNC after Debbie "Blabbermouth" also disgraced herself with favoritism towards Hillary (and the deleted email mess). Now in her newly released book, Donna put much of the blame of the tainting of the DNC squarely on the back of Hillary Clinton and the Clinton machine. Starting in 2015, the Clinton camp had co-opted the entire DNC apparatus. Many in the DNC were now true believers that after the historic election of our first mixed race President, we were now in the doorstep of having our first woman President. What could possibly go wrong? To start with, Bernie Sanders.
Wait a minute! Bernie was not supposed to be a factor! The big maybes were Smoking Joe and maybe ALGORE. Jim Webb and Martin O'Malley were considered light weights not to worry about. But Joe Biden was the real threat should he have decided to run. Even though he is as old as the hills, his numbers stacked up well against Hillary. But this socialist from Vermont with a thick Bronx accent? Really? For some reason, he had traction. Why? He was the Democratic version of Donald Trump. He was an iconoclast where Hillary was the status quo. People were ready for a change.
Truthfully, for the Democrats, this book could not have come out at a worse time. The nut ball who is now running the DNC is having a heck of a time putting together a message - that is, except for "we hate Donald Trump". Besides having no message, the party is in some financial trouble. Plus, now that the master money bundler from Hollywood is in treatment and legal trouble, their money problems are probably not going to get any better. Finding out the DNC is rotten to the core was like pouring gas on a fire.
It is probably good that Donna wrote this book to bring in some revenue. She is finished at CNN as well as the DNC. Like many in the past two or three decades, those who got involved with the Clintons ended up with a fate similar to those who looked at Medusa's head. Not good.
Good bye Donna - it has been interesting to know you. One more thing however - watch your back. Those who have either ratted out or turned on the Clintons had some very strange (and sometimes fatal) things happen to them. Just saying...
A little over the top, but true.
ReplyDelete45 wants to see someone punished, but that probably won't fly.
Losing was punishment enough for us snowflakes.

Just a short comment on 45's golfing trip to Asia........
ReplyDelete45, who prides himself on unpredictability, is parachuting into a region where he's thrown decades of American economic leadership into doubt.
By axing the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), a massive trade agreement spanning 12 nations, 45 did away with a deal that the U.S. had spent years working out with countries like Japan, Australia and Vietnam.
"Without the TPP, there is no narrative of American economic partnership with Asia.
Rather than pursuing broad regional agreements, 45 says he wants one-on-one talks with countries. He promises American workers he can get them a better deal by fixating on bilateral trade deficits and surpluses. But that approach isn't playing so well with trading partners like Japan.
45 doesn't understand world trade. Lower level people make these deals over months of negotiations, not Presidents.
In the absence of leadership from the U.S., governments in the region are pushing ahead on their own. The 11 other countries who signed up for the TPP have been negotiating a new agreement that they may announce at a regional summit in Vietnam that 45 is also attending. That will be interesting to watch.
China is now the number 1 global power, bolstered by 45's erratic behavior and ineffectiveness, and they will pave the way for the future of the world. I think they will do well.
Have a great Friday,
