"Recent polling show that 80% of the respondents believe we are on the wrong track. The other 20% must be living in la-la land. Some people may hate Donald Trump for his mannerisms, but this Joe Biden guy, this crooked, paid for politician, has been a one-man wrecking ball to our great Republic."
During the Biden years, our borders have remained open. Not opinion, just a cold fact. Our southern border has been the big attraction. The cartels have become richer, and border states have become poorer. But as real as it has been leading up to today, now the reality of this border mismanagement has become very visible and very cumbersome. How so? New York is expecting an additional 19,000 students to flood their already overcrowded and ineffective school system. And nobody wants them.
Some people might think that adding millions of illegals into this country adds to our "diversity and inclusion". To that I say hogwash. We add to our "diversity and inclusion" by our LEGAL immigration system. Plus - here is something that nitwit Mayorkas never considers - once illegals land someplace in this country (after being bussed around all over the place), somebody needs to "pay the freight". Even our "sanctuary cities" are finding out that being a "sanctuary" is more than just a catchy motto. It is expensive, and hard. And problems come in large waves, not just with the tides.
When the local government "plants" an illegal family next to yours, what do you really know about them? Don't ask them about their past, because they probably don't trust you to know. In addition, they probably don't understand you, as they don't speak English. Are they vaccinated against all the diseased your kids have been vaccinated against? Probably not. Of course, your kids could not get into school unless you proved they were. But the illegals? They get a pass.
Do you know if your new neighbors have a criminal background? Are they terrorists? Do they belong to a Central American gang? All these are unknown, as most of the illegals have not been vetted. And we can't vet them, because Mayorkas thinks that is "racist" and unfair. Huh? So, into our "melting pot" might come some bad apples. Is that the federal government's problem? Nope - it is now your problem. Even though you did not sign up for this, your neighborhood might become one of Mayorkas' dumping grounds.
All this mayhem, just so Biden and Mayorkas can cultivate future Democrat voters. Oh, they deny this is the plan. But those are lies. This always has been, and always will be the plan. But here is the irony. Even the Democrats are starting to practice NIMBY (not in my back yard). Just look at the tug of war between Biden, Hochul and Adams. This infighting may have started out quiet and hidden, but now it is out in the open for all to see. Who wants all these illegals in New York? Good question.
Even the most stoic of my friends have become very animated when talking about the state of the state right now. Colorful descriptions of our border mayhem have been replaced with out and out invective. Truely, it is language to make a sailor blush. But why all this newfound coarseness in our lexicon? People are mad. They are frustrated. They feel helpless and used. Our government(s), instead of working for the people, are now oppressing the people. What you see happening in our wide-open borders is nothing more than Tyranny 101.
Recent polling show that 80% of the respondents believe we are on the wrong track. The other 20% must be living in la-la land. Some people may hate Donald Trump for his mannerisms, but this Joe Biden guy, this crooked, paid for politician, has been a one-man wrecking ball to our great Republic. And starting on Tuesday, the extent of some of that damage will be revealed to us. Starting on Tuesday, more of Biden's crap becomes real...
