I can't even stand to watch the news or read any print these days. After two years of "Russia, Russia, Russia", we now are getting a full plate of "Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine". I swear, the Sunday Strib read more like an edition of Pravda than anything looking remotely like real news. Blah, blah, blah. However, it did give me pause to think. With the all the oxygen being sucked out of the air by the latest version of "Get Trump", as well as the daily miscues of the Squad, what up with the Clown Car? You know, the socialists running for President.
I started diving deeper into my thoughts. Is there any one of those who are running who might be the least bit acceptable to John Q. Public? How about Elizabeth Warren? She seems to have lapped Uncle Joe as of late. How would she be? Rumors have it the big money Democrats on Wall Street want NOTHING to do with Pocahontas. Why? She has been very vocal about her antipathy for the banks, as well as her love for a "wealth tax". So money talks and BS walks. She will not make it to the big dance.
How about that Uncle Joe? He as been leading in the poles until recently. Thanks to the Ukraine "scandal", the spotlight has shown on Joe and his offspring, Hunter. Like, they are both corrupt. Besides have a chronic case of the "feelie melees", Joe has an integrity problem. Way too many years in the cesspool of Washington. He will not make the big dance either.
Beto? Too anti-gun. Mayor Pete? Too new age. Bernie? Too old. Amy? Too boring. Cory? Too bald. Yang? To anti meat. Kamala? Too Californian. Castro? Too everything, including his last name. How about pulling Hillary out of the closet? Please, make my day! However, that will never happen. Michelle? How about another Obama in the White House? Too many rumors about her which are not complimentary.
So who could it be? This knight in shining armor who could be riding out of the fog into people's hearts? Who could gin up a convincing argument to topple all the accomplishments of the Trump administration? Anyone in the House? Can't think of one. How about the Senate? Has to be someone there. Again, can't think of one. The best and the brightest of the Democrat Party are already in and riding in the Clown Car. This is it folks. It gets no better.
Fact number one. Trump might get impeached by the socialists in the House, but will never get convicted in the Senate. Fact number two. Al Green finally said something truthful the other day - "We need to impeach this President, because if we don't he will win re-election." Yes, get ready for Trump term # 2. Fact number three. If Trump were allowed to govern with a RINO free Republican House and Senate, this economy would go from a jet to a rocket.
