The new populists

"Donald Trump was our man in 2016. He will be our man in 2020. In 2024, there will be another just like him, who can lead these populists and articulate their views. Republicans like Jeb, Mitt, or Bill Weld will no longer cut it. Never, ever again."

Heads up Democrats. You have a real problem, which is staring at you, head on. When people talk about the coming "Red Wave", here is a news flash. That "Red Wave" is already here. Don't believe it? Look at ANY Trump rally. Any city, any time. Look at the deep blue city of Minneapolis last week. Look at the deep blue city of Dallas last night. In both of those cities, you could find crowds which were teaming with wild enthusiasm, and seem to stretch to the horizon. There is wild enthusiasm for this former businessman, who eschews the establishment, the corruption in Washington, and preaches a pure form of freedom, liberty and greatness.

The views of the Democrats running for President, and the views of Donald Trump could not be more different. While the Democrats keep pounding away at everything they will take away from the citizens (including our natural and God given rights), President Trump always keeps on the same theme - freedom, liberty and greatness. And so far, that theme has worked very well for our country.

The visceral and continued hatred for this President has slowed some things down, but stopped nothing. But there is one thing the Democrats have not considered, and they really should. Donald Trump came along as the right man for the right time. None of what he is running on is unique to him - it is the bread and butter of the people he represents. In other words, should the Democrats ever be successful in taking President Trump out, the people, the populists he represents, would still be here. As will their theme of freedom, liberty and greatness.

Here is the danger that exists in our country right now. If for some reason, this next election is stolen by the Democrats, and some socialist statist is elected instead of Donald Trump, the backlash could be significant. When I say significant, I mean that could be the match which starts the fire. After the past almost three years, when the Democrats have tried every trick in the book to nullify the results of the 2016 election, having a rigged or perceived to be rigged election in 2020, will be the straw which broke the camel's back. Too many people have sacrificed way too much to allow this country to slide down the rat hole - into a Venezuela type of existence.

When Donald Trump talks about the swamp in Washington, he really is talking about corruption which runs deep and wide. Unfortunately, some of that corruption has also been visited upon establishment Republicans. In other words, the "Club". Just when everything is running very cozy for the statists in the swamp, in comes this iconoclast named Donald Trump. And Donald Trump has a vision of "overturning the tables in the temple".

So when President Trump was sworn in, some of the tables started to be overturned. In the almost three years he has been in office, enough of the scum has been exposed so the populists will no longer be satisfied with only promises and slogans. They want this fixed now, and the guilty punished!

What am I trying to say? This is no longer your parent's Republican Party. Nor your grandparents. These are red meat patriots who WILL NO LONGER ALLOW THIS GREAT COUNTRY TO BE COMPROMISED.

Donald Trump was our man in 2016. He will be our man in 2020. In 2024, there will be another just like him, who can lead the populists and articulate their views. Republicans like Jeb, Mitt, or Bill Weld will no longer cut it. Never, ever again.
