The me nobody knows...

What's the matter? You don't like Kamala? You think she is a phony? An opportunist? Well, hold on for just a minute please. Team Kamala is helper her "reimagine" herself. She is going to look a bit more like "Trump light" and a whole lot less like Bernie Sanders. Wait - why? Because the stark reality has hit her and her team. The mood of the country right now is not with Bernie Sanders. 

Right now, all eyes are in Pennsylvania. I read an article where her Veep nod is going to be either Arizona Senator Mark Kelly or Pennsylvania Governor Joshua Shapiro. My guess is that Shapiro brings more to the party than Kelly will. He is Jewish and pro-Israel (oh, does she need some healing there!), never lost an election, and can use his popularity to offset Kamala's past anti-fracking remarks.

Hold on. Full stop for just a minute. What the heck has happened to the anti-ICE, anti-fracking, Medicare for all, Jail for nobody Kamala? I mean, who is this woman? Do we know who she really is? The better question is does SHE know who she is? Is she triangulating like Clinton did to win re-election or is she just that much of a phony. 

The real phony John Kerry tried to be the master flip flopper when he was running for president. It did not work. He was called out on his flip flopping many times. I can see Team Trump doing the same to Kamala. Donald Trump on the other hand, has the same policies and plans as he had the first time around. Some suburban Karens may dislike his mannerisms, but the patriots and citizens love his results.

Every DEI advocate that Biden put in our Armed Forces needs to go. We need two submarines a year built - not just one. Our Navy needs work and needs it now. Why? We are lagging badly. 

With the brazen attack on Beirut, taking out the head of Hezbollah, the hot war in the Middle East could suddenly get hotter. Could the US get dragged into it? Sure could. Do we need a stronger military? We need our military of old. Where combat soldiers are trained to (if need be), go break things and kill bad people on the other side. And we need the right equipment for our troops to use. 

Back to Kamala. Who is she really? Who cares. She needs to be defeated so she can go back to California and be one of those types. Period. Let Trump come in and fix what needs fixing. We all know that Biden has broken many things.  

 

Is that you Hal?

"Oh, what a time we are living in! Soon we will have bots who are butlers, maids, gardeners, drivers, companions, cooks and so forth. And dogs, who never need to go outside to make a mess to clean up. But even if they did make a mess, the companion bot could clean that up for you!"

Are you ready for this? I will bet two bits that most are not expecting what is coming. Right now, we are fighting with the tyrants about this forceful shove into Electric Vehicles that most do not yet want. At Tesla, the entire time that Elon Musk is still working to make his Tesla vehicles acceptable to the marketplace (price point and charging issues), on the side he is also building something else. And this something else will be ready for go to market in 2025 or 2026. Yes, I know. That is right around the corner.

Bots. As in robots. Tesla is one of maybe ten different companies, some large, some start up, which are trying to get the most versatile and affordable bot on the marketplace by 2025 or 2026. It comes as no surprise to many that Musk thinks Tesla is in the driver's seat on this launch. People will buy a bot for use in their homes. Let that sink in for a minute. This is not like having a dog or a cat - this will be an AI equipped robot which can do things around the house. Like chores. 

This is going to hit John Q. Public like a hook to the jaw from Muhammad Ali. All of a sudden, there will be adds. "For as little as $20,000, you can own your own robot. It can dust, cook, weed, and shovel show. Every year you will get a free upgrade which will give your robot even more capabilities." Wait - what? You mean no more weeding my wife's garden? That is the plan. To have these robots be, well, like slaves. They can work from sun-up to sun-down so long as their charge holds out. 

Think this is bad? To sci-fi for you? Well buckle up folks. This is only the beginning. Each year the AI is supposed to get smarter and more capable. These metal things in your house, will soon be able to think and reason. You take the family on a vacation, and the bot stays home and runs the place. If you get bored, you can call your bot up and chat for a while. Maybe play a game of chess or checkers. The bot will know when its charge is running low, and how to recharge itself. Like I said, the plan is to be on the market in 2025 or 2026, and by 2030 bots will be like - metal people. 

Keep in mind, while most of industry is playing checkers, Elon Musk is playing three-dimensional chess. Besides solving the battery problem with his EVs, he is also making what could be the very best bot on the market at a discounted price. He is making an AI computer which he thinks will set the industry standard. His boring machine company is going great guns, and new tunnels are starting to appear all over the place. There is more, but I will stop here.

Well enough about Tesla. Boston Dynamics is also in this bot business. They have Atlas, and it is also coming along nicely. Look for Atlas to be a huge competitor to Tesla's Gen III bot. And by the way, Boston Dynamics is also making robot dogs. Lots of them.

Weird and abortions

What is Kamala Harris' number one issue? Her cause celeb? Inflation? Energy? War? Anything? If you guessed "a woman's right to healthcare" (aka abortions), you win the prize. Not only is she saying it, but her blue wave of minions are also parroting it. This is nothing new however - abortion is such a cornerstone of the Democrat Party, it snuffed out the 2022 "red wave", as the fear mongers were telling voters that Republicans are going to relegate abortions to back allies with rusty hangers, once again.

My first boss after getting out of college was a real treat to work for. A WW II and Korean War vet, he had very strong country and family values. A lifelong Catholic, he and his wife had six kids, and like most Catholics back then, he found abortion to be repugnant. One day when we were on our way to work (we carpooled), I asked him about accidental pregnancies when two people were dating. He thought it was an odd question coming from this Lutheran boy. "Well, the best way not to get pregnant when dating is to take some noassatall every day." I asked him what noassatall was. He told me just to think about it - it would come to me.

He was right. That was the morality in his day. Abortions were very rare because so were unplanned pregnancies. Should a couple slip up and the women get pregnant, the noble thing for the young man to do would be to marry her. Or sometimes she would go away for a while, have the baby, and give it up for adoption. But the primary way to prevent pregnancies was for the man to "keep it in his pants" (so to speak).

On the news this morning, I heard something I had to listen to twice to believe. The new strategy is for the Democrats to refer to Trump and Vance as "strange". Every time either Trump or Vance talks about issues such as the open border, runaway inflation, high gas prices, or others, the response by the left is to call them "strange". Really? That response is strange to me. But I suppose when you have nothing to come back with, "strange" is better than nothing.

This morning, Drudge (who seems to have joined the dishonest media), proclaimed that Harris is leading in the polls. Really? I find that hard to believe. Should this country be stupid enough to elect an immoral gadfly like Harris over a proven performer like Donald Trump, this country is lost. We will have "lost the gate", and the ship will sink. Like I have said before, this race really is for all the marbles. 

 

Who could be our most vital ally in the Pacific?

"With Russia and China continuing to prowl the world looking for weakness and opportunity, no relationship can be taken for granted. And that too, is a cold hard fact." 

The Indo-Pacific. All eyes are on this most vital part of the world. In the eyes of China, this area is their "lake". The East China Sea, the South China Sea - they belong to China. Every other country in that region are only "squatters". And because of China's desire to absorb Taiwan, the United States has a very strong presence in the region. But who is with us if push comes to shove? Japan for sure. South Korea. Australia, and the PI. But there is one country who could really tip the balance if we played our cards right with them.

It is no secret that India and China have had their "dust ups". It is also true that as of late, the air has cleared a bit with both countries, and much of the "war talk" has subsided. That being said, there is still room for the United States to cozy up to this very important country in the region. With the size of India's military, it could give some real heft to our team. For example, India has the world's second largest military force, with the third largest defense budget. Having Japan and South Korea on one side of China, Australia and the PI on the bottom side of China, and India on the west side of China - now that is containment. 

Donald Trump had a good relationship with Modi. Biden? Not so much. Yes, India is always looking for the deal. We have the deal to offer. Cheap energy, and the world's best weapon systems. Right now, Modi is playing footsie with both Russia and China because they came a knocking. And we have not. I would love to see a stronger relationship with India. If Donald Trump becomes POTUS # 47, maybe we could have a repeat of the days of # 45. 

From a personal note, I have had some very good relationships with Indian people. At a former company who had Tata (large Indian company) and a major subcontractor, I was responsible for managing them on site. Smart, hardworking, results oriented - that is the India I saw in the work this company performed. When I had to deal with Tata in India, I had the same experience. 

India's Navy is about the same size as Japan's Navy. Only Japan's is more modernized. Having India's current Navy helping to patrol the Indo-Pacific area to keep the peace would be a huge plus. The sad fact is, we can't do it ourselves. We have to keep an eye on Putin in Europe and as well as having a strong showing in the western Pacific. With the toning down that Obama and Biden have done to our defense budgets, we no longer have the "chops" to fight two major wars in two parts of the world. We need friends who have a strong military to help us. That is a cold hard fact.

Trump and Modi together again? I like it. I like how other than India, our relationships have strengthened in that most vital part of the world. Yes, even under Biden, our relationships have improved. With Russia and China continuing to prowl the world looking for weakness and opportunity, no relationship can be taken for granted. And that too, is a cold hard fact. 

Maybe the best - ever?

I was going to start this article out by saying that Donald Trump was maybe the best retail politician ever. But one thing would be wrong with that statement - Donald Trump (unlike Joe Biden), is not a career politician. He is a builder and developer who just happened to run for (and win) the presidency of the United States. He has a gift, a knack if you will, of connecting with people. Our kind of people. And when he speaks to a crowd, he can attract tens of thousands.

Last night Donald Trump and JD Vance were at the hockey center in St. Cloud MN. The Secret Service has strongly suggested to the Trump team that they stay away from outdoor venues. So, they met in the hockey center. Every seat was filled. It was literally full to the rafters. And outside, were thousands who didn't get there in time to get a seat. How was a crowd this size? Well behaved and almost raucous at the same time. Very typical for a Trump rally.

Based on polling numbers, more people could end up voting for Donald Trump in 2024 than voted for him in 2016 or 2020. And most of the people who will vote for Trump are true believers and patriots. They have zero interest in putting up with another four years of mayhem in our cities, porous borders, runaway inflation, and high energy prices. If somehow through creative bookkeeping and counting, Kamala should win, millions of Americans will not recognize her as legit. Just saying. But if Trump wins, the rising tide will lift all boats. Just saying, once again.

Our grandkids will tell their grandkids they were alive when Donald Trump woke this country up again. They will go on to tell their grandies that these were wonderful times. Exciting times. Even in 2020 when the election was snatched away from Trump, Trump's followers stayed loyal and committed. Why? Win, lose or draw, MAGA is the right policy. And Donald Trump is the right cheerleader to explain why MAGA is so critically important to all of us.  

 

 

Getting to know our pig in a poke

"Who is she really? Nobody really knows. Not even Biden, for if he knew, he would have never picked her to be his Veep, nor successor."    

"A pig in a poke". An old expression going back to the Middle Ages. It literally means to buy something you know nothing about. Might be good; might be bad. The big issue, however, is that you just don't know. You don't know until you get home and take the pig out of the bag. Ladies and gentlemen - let me introduce you to Kamala Harris. The "pig in a poke" that America might be getting in January of 2025.

Who is she really? Is she a "space cadet", who talks in word salad? Is she a gadfly? Is she a Jezabell? We know that somehow, she passed her bar exam and became a lawyer in California. We know that she used some "influence" with Willie Brown to get her start in California politics. And we know that as AG in CA, she let many, many bad people, most of which were illegals - go. Some who had murdered. 

We have heard the Washinton whispers for years now. "Biden picked her to be his insurance policy". Biden knew the powers that be would not want to dump him, as Kamala was worse. Not a little worse - a lot worse. Wait - what? Someone was worse than Biden? How could that be? Take a look at Kamala's list of accomplishments while Veep. It is not very long, nor complicated. In fact, it looks like a blank sheet of paper. So then, one might ask - what can she do? Cackle. And look goofy. And gaslight. And lie. And this is who the Democrat minions now want to be our next president? 

In 2016, when Kamala was running for president, there was a reason why she did not garner one delegate before she dropped out. While in the Senate, she was horrible. She had the worst voting record of the 100 members. In fact, after the Floyd incident when the radicals torched the city of Minneapolis, Kamala felt sorry for the mutts, and set up a "go fund me" account to get them bail money. One might think - "That does not sound very presidential" - nope it sure does not. 

When Netanyahu was in Washinton addressing Congress, Harris decided to skip it. Why? Campaign stop. To this very important ally in a very important war, Harris gave the back of her hand. Why? Because she is untrained, unaware, and unaccustomed to real power. Meaning what? She is a "pig in a poke". The real Kamala Harris is scary bad. She will make Joe Biden look like a genius and Rhodes Scholar rolled into one. She is a Trojan Horse (no condom jokes, please), and Manchurian Candidate together.

By the way, as many times as Kamala will tell you she is black, she is not. Her parents are Jamaican and Indian. Not African American. But then again, that is Kamala. The phony. Who is she really? Nobody really knows. Not even Biden, for if he knew, he would have never picked her to be his Veep, nor successor.    

Director Wray - what the what????

"Those of us who have been paying attention, know one thing for sure. There is a whole lot, a ton of stuff, left to tell on this story. Right now, things don't add up. Like - how did the rifle get on the rooftop? Why was there no drone assisting the overwatch? Who was in charge?" 

Two weeks ago, President Trump was shot. An attempted assassination. But hold on for a second! Maybe he was not shot. Either it was some kind of fake event, or the bullet really did not hit Donald Trump - Trump was hit by some kind of shrapnel. Sorry media - the hospital listed his wound as a bullet wound. Even if it had been shrapnel, what difference would it make?

A friend of mine in the Navy during Viet Nam was on the P-3 doing some crypto stuff by the DMZ. His plane got hit by some triple "A". One round hit his typewriter (which he had between his legs while working) and blew it to smithereens. He ended up with shrapnel from the typewriter in his abdomen. In the eyes of the Navy, he was wounded in battle and decorated as such. He was not hit by a bullet (which probably would have killed him), but pieces of his typewriter.

But what really got the media in a feeding frenzy? The Director of the FBI, Chris Wray, saying "We don't know for sure it was a bullet which hit Donald Trump". Wait - what? Was it a bumble bee? A wasp? Horsefly? Was it just a coincidence that when whatever bit Trump's ear, happened at the same time this nut ball was emptying out his AR-15? Come on Director! You know darn well Trump was shot! Now the media is saying that this was just another theater trick of Donald Trump.

Those of us who have been paying attention, know one thing for sure. There is a whole lot, a ton of stuff, left to tell on this story. Right now, things don't add up. Like - how did the rifle get on the rooftop? Why was there no drone assisting the overwatch? Who was in charge? Who was calling the shots (so to speak)? The entire thing was a cluster from the get-go. Now that we got rid of the DEI Director of the Secret Service, Chris Wray should be next. And then Mayorkas (for a multitude of reasons). 

Every time I see the replay of the shot, I realize how close we came to losing Trump. If Trump had fallen, I am convinced the country would have come unglued. We would have lost our best hope to fix things, and the cold civil war we are in would have turned very hot, very fast. Thank God this did not happen!

Stay alert during the next 100 days. Much could happen which would smell like rotten eggs. The other side wants to retain power at any cost. Remember that - at any cost. 

 

Go quietly into the night? Na!

"King Joe. What to do now to fill his days. My guess? Pretty much the same thing he has been doing. Only this time, he can hide in plain sight. Who is going to care? Who is going to call him out? Nobody. Why? He is now a king, and that is what kings do. Nothing." 

We now have a king in America. How do I know? Joe Biden, last night during his prime-time speech, announced to the country he would only be a figurehead for the next six months. After that, he would maybe drift silently into the night. Or not. Actually, Joe Biden has been a king for a while now. He is not the person pulling the levers of power. Who then, is it? Obama? Dr. Jill? Obama's inner circle? We all know it is not Joe. His mind is wandering back to that beach chair he has set up for himself in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. 

Now there is no hiding it. No more lying about his health. President Biden has devolved into King Joe. He can eat ice cream cones until the sun sets every day. Does he have to show up at the White House? Na - that is where the action is, and Joe does not need to be by the action. All eyes are on Kamala now. And that is good. Why is that? The person who never garnered one delegate vote on her own, now has something attached to her leg which she cannot shake off. It is called her record. And it is not a good one. 

When it comes to policies, there is not a split hair difference between Kamala's, Bernie Sanders, Liz Warren and Joe Biden. Together they are like the Politburo. Is there more just kike these four Commies? Sure, but that is a state secret. They are the puppet masters. The ones who were pulling the levers of power for Joe when Joe did not know if it were Tuesday or Funday. And they are not going anywhere. They will be pulling the levers of power for Kamala should she cheat, I mean win, her way into the White House. And if Trump wins? The puppet masters go "poof" and disappear.

This is a strange land we live in right now. The lap dog media is all in for Kamala. Why? She will continue on with Joe's horrible policies. But if Joe's policies were that horrible for the country, why would the media be cheerleaders for them? Now you are asking questions I have no clue on how to answer. The media, our "Fourth Estate", should be very critical of everything which was passed under Biden. But they were not. Instead, they were giddy with glee. Whereas they had antipathy for Donald Trump and his successful policies, they had a love affair with everything that Biden did or said. 

King Joe. What to do now to fill his days. My guess? Pretty much the same thing he has been doing. Only this time, he can hide in plain sight. Who is going to care? Who is going to call him out? Nobody. Why? He is now a king, and that is what kings do. Nothing. 

 

 

Our liberty story; an originalist idea

"Donald Trump has originalist ideas on how our country should run. How our people should prosper. Should Donald Trump be the 47th president of this great nation, and should he have a friendly House and Senate, good things could be in the offing. That is the good news." 

Once upon a time, in the deep woods of North America, the British Empire established 13 colonies to become a new part of that empire. The plan was good except for one minor thing - once away from the clutches of King George, the colonists started to understand what the French had been talking about. This freedom thing. This liberty thing. The next thing you know, there was a Declaration of Independence penned by these rebels, and then a war for independence. Then it happened - the birth of the United States of America.

Things were different back then. The concept of freedom was not as complicated. It was as simple as "I can swing my fist as far and wide as I want to, until it touches the tip of your nose - that is where my freedom ends." When our Constitution was written, many of these basic liberties were put to paper. The Framers wanted our Constitution to be a document of explaining our freedoms, not confining our freedoms. It still today, is a marvelous document. 

Flash forward to today. We are two different countries, living within the same borders. Those who still believe in the manner in which our Constitution was written are sometimes referred to as "originalists". Many conservatives are of that ilk. They believe our Constitution is sacrosanct. Should not be changed nor watered down. The progressives on the other hand, believe both our Constitution and Holy Bible are dated, and need to be changed. To be with the times. And both sides of this argument are as similar to each other as oil is to water. 

The person who will probably be the progressive nominee in 2024 is the most radical person ever to run for president. While in the Senate, her voting record was the most extreme. Moreso than Bernie Sanders and Liz Warren put together. Should she be elected, it would change this country into something the Framers would not recognize. No patriot would recognize.

If we had a President Kamala Harris, it would be the end of America as we know it, and the birth of a tyrannical nation, maybe called Amerika. The Constitution would be re-written to tell the subjects of this new land, what few freedoms they have left. The remainder of any God given freedoms would accrue to the government. It would be King George, all over again.

Donald Trump has originalist ideas on how our country should run. How our people should prosper. Should Donald Trump be the 47th president of this great nation, and should he have a friendly House and Senate, good things could be in the offing. That is the good news. Unfortunately, there is also some bad news. The other side, the very radical wing of this country, are not going away. Their cancer is too deep. Just like when Donald Trump was our 45th president, they tried to ruin him. They will do it again should he be our 47th president.

Is there a simple answer to this bad marriage now called America? Can conservatives and progressives ever live in peace and harmony? Can we be one country once again? Some are suggesting maybe a national divorce would be better than what we have now. A separation of states by ideology.

I don't know what the answer is. Can Donald Trump heal us? I know he will try. Can Kamala Harris heal us? No, but she can surely subjugate us. Whoever said this election was for all the marbles, was telling us the truth.     

The "felon" and the floozy

America is on the precipice right now. Teetering. Ready to slip into the abyss. Kamala may cackle about this, but the rest of us won't. A message to the woman who laughs at everything - it won't be the least bit funny.

Wow! That did not take long. Poor old Joe, after getting the "word" from his handlers, bows out of the 2024 race, endorses his talentless gadfly of a Veep to be his successor, and ALL OF A SUDDEN - BAM! We have Kamala Harris, who when she ran for president could not garner ONE delegate, now has enough of Slow Joe's delegates to get the nomination. So much for "preserving democracy". This top-down selection beats an election any day of the week, and twice on Sundays.

So now this floozy named Kamala, has a new tag line. "I am the prosecutor, and Trump is the felon." I think we need to dissect this just a bit this morning. Was Kamala really a prosecutor? Yes. And she was the AG in CA. One might ask how a moron like Kamala could get such a high-level job? Just look at the current Director of the Secret Service, and then try and spell DEI. Stanger things have happened than this rise to power of Kamala Harris.

Anyhow, what was Kamala's claim to fame while being the AG of CA? PUTTING BLACK BOYS IN PRISION FOR SMOKING WEED. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this is what Kamala liked to do. Does not mean she does not like the evil weed - it only meant she went after the weakest links in the chain. Putting poor black kids in prison was low fruit on the tree. Easy for a former floozy to get a reputation of "prosecutor". But that was then, and this is now.

But wait - what about this "felon" name that Kamala has given Trump? Is he really a Felon? Technically, for right now - yes. However, according to Alan Dershowitz and other legal minds, this verdict for sure will be overturned. It was a NY case, tried by a Soros DA, with a Democrat judge, and a jury of Democrat voters. This "hush money" case was really nothing more than a misdemeanor (as best), but the Democrat donor judge allowed the Soros backed DA to bootstrap it into a felony. The Democrat jury was way too pleased to find Trump guilty on all 34 counts. Did this really happen in America? Yes, by using Biden's lawfare rule. It made NYC look more like Havana.

If those are the cards the "prosecutor" wants to play, bring it on. Both Harris and Biden are as phony as three-dollar bills. Most of us can see through both of these counterfeit politicians - but not all of us. My only question is this - are there enough sheeple in this country to elect Harris as our next president? So, we can have four to eight more years of total malaise? Maybe WW III? A national debt of $50T?

America is on the precipice right now. Teetering. Ready to slip into the abyss. Kamala may cackle about this, but the rest of us won't. A message to the woman who laughs at everything - it won't be the least bit funny.

  

It is not the person, it's the message!

"Our cure for Biden and company starts in 2024. There is no tomorrow other than November 5, 2024. If we lose that race, we have lost the country. Yes, it is that important. Don't believe the Democrat sophism. Only believe the truth you heard during the RNC convention."  

Come on man! Give me a break! Okay, so Jill finally submitted to have Joe drop out of the 2024 race. Like - DUH! That should have been done a long time ago. Why? As most of us know, the man in not well. Not at all. BUT - it was not Joe's message. Why? Joe's message is not just Joe's message. It is the message which belongs to the party. For those who are looking for a moderate Democrat who can spew a message from decades prior - wake up and smell the coffee. There IS ONLY ONE MESSAGE TODAY. And it looks NOTHING like Democrat messaging from the old days. 

What do you think the message from our VEEP, the "Border Czar" is going to be? Clamp down on the illegals? Will it look anything like the Republican platform on border security? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Not even close. Will it look like Biden's? Like two peas in a pod. Taxes, weak defense, DEI everywhere, no borders, clean energy, EV mandates - everything will look like warmed over Biden crapola. 

BTW - don't expect any Democrat to debate Donald Trump on the issues. They are not into that. In fact (you might love this one) - this weekend I read a poll where one out of three Democrats think the assassination attempt on Donald Trump was "staged". And three out of three Democrats (not a poll, my opinion), only refer to Trump as lawless, criminal, felon, selfish, and so forth. Nothing about the issues, only a besmirching of his character. I guess this all we can expect from the party that booed God at a convention.

So, what can we expect out of Kamala Harris? Besides insipid laughing and word salad? Nothing new under the sun. People will brag about how tough she was as the CA AG. Really? If she was so tough back then, what the Sam Hill is going on in our cities today? Where is that toughness? What is she really good at? Willie Brown could give one answer. But where is her vision for our country? It can't get much worse than where Biden has taken us.

For those who are interested in a new vision for our country, just watch the re-runs of the RNC convention. Donald Trump (and others) were very clear how we can stop the hemorrhaging towards malaise and restart the building of greatness for the United States. However, four more years of Biden/Harris type mismanagement, and we might then be around the curve. In other words, too late. 

Our cure for Biden and company starts in 2024. There is no tomorrow other than November 5, 2024. If we lose that race, we have lost the country. Yes, it is that important. Don't believe the Democrat sophism. Only believe the truth you heard during the RNC convention.

With a Trump/Vance administration, so many good things will happen, I shudder to think about how many there will be. BUT - to me the single best thing will be the dissolution of the unhealthy and dangerous relationship we have with China. I won't go into the potentially illegal and certainly immoral relationship the Biden family has had with China. That is old news. I will say this however - Donald Trump breaking up this bad marriage will be a blessing from above. Something which is long, long overdue. 

Just in case you are wondering - do I hate the Chinese people? Not a bit. Many would love to have a better form of government. I do have antipathy for the current regime. They are tyrannical and have proved they will murder at a moment's notice. They don't like Donald Trump nor Vance. But that is tough toenails. Soon there will be a new sheriff in town. The days of suspicious and deadly viruses as well as fentanyl will be coming to an end.

As an aside, another thing Trump and Vance want to do is build an American version of the Iron Dome. Keep America safe from rogue missiles coming at us from Russia, China, Iran or wherever. Build it using American knowhow as well as American labor and material. Have an Iron Dome protecting us from above, and an impenetrable fence protecting us from illegal aliens from across our borders.

Shortly after Donald Trump is sworn in, Joe Biden will only be an unpleasant aftertaste. Some will be crying for his scalp. Make him pay for all the misdeeds he did while serving this nation. Will Donald Trump have his DOJ go after Biden? I doubt it. Biden is in the rear-view mirror for Trump, and Trump is much more concerned with looking out the windshield. Trump's priorities are to make America great again and do it as soon as possible. There will be no screwing around with Trump - he is a "get-er-done" type of leader.

Am I excited about having Donald Trump as president again? Does it show? I am doing cartwheels with excitement. All the Democrats have right now is this canard called Project 2025. What is it? According to Trump, it is a very right wing set of objectives that some very right-wing organization put together. Does Trump buy into Project 2025? Not a bit. Trump said it is way too extreme for his liking. But nevertheless, the Democrats will try and tattoo this Project 2025 on Donald Trump. Good luck with that one!

The battle for America has begun!

"Donald Trump thinks we can be restored to our better selves in only a short period of time. I hope so. As the expression goes, as Nero fiddled, Rome burned. The world is now a much more dangerous place since we have led from behind. President Trump will put us back in the leadership position."

Now that the Republican Convention is over (and wasn't it grand!), the battle for the future of America has begun. Unlike the other side who tried to take our leader out with bullets, we will take Joe Biden out on the field of ideas. Or should I say just the Democrats, as it appears the palace revolt in the DNC continues, and poor old Joe might be stripped of his second term. But enough about that, as that is still a developing story.

I have addressed this one before. Traveling in just about any direction from the metro areas in this country, you encounter the real America. And in the real America, the Republican agenda is not just something which is a motto or a cliche - it is how real people, really live. And the love of country is palpable - it flows through every inch of their blood stream. They don't burn the flag; they honor its tradition and heritage. They don't kill innocent life; to them, all human life is precious. They don't rewrite our history; they study and live by our Constitution and the Holy Bible.

But in the metro areas, is where the other side dwells. Do the citizens and patriots hate the other side? Not a bit. As President Trump said last night, they are part of our national fabric. We do rebel however, when the other side starts acting more like King George than George Washington (when they are in charge). Thus, on the matter of tyranny, there is no middle ground. Our country was born and rose from the ashes of foreign tyranny - we certainly are not going to accept tyranny once again as a homespun issue. 

It is up to us, the makers, to convince the other side (the takers), that our ideas are better. Our ideas are what will shape the world as well as our country. We are the shining city on the hill, the beacon of hope, the nation others come to in time of trouble. Donald Trump thinks we can be restored to our better selves in only a short period of time. Will the battle for America be without violence? It will on our side, be without violence. When President Trump was almost killed by an assassin's bullet, there were no riots. No insurrections (like the Floyd issue). No blood spilled in the street. What about the other side? We can only hope and pray they will allow the transfer of power in January the peaceful way. With an honest and fair election, that is the way it should happen.     

So, how is your month going President Biden?

"If the Republicans don't blow it, they should be able to ride this horse over the finish line and take home the gold. Or if they do blow it, they could be left scratching their heads while another uniquely unqualified person gets sworn into the Oval Office."      

Poor old Joe Biden. He must feel like Julius Ceasar when Brutus came in to give him a back rub. As he continues to sink in the polls, for reasons which perplex him as well as his team, Donald Trump is rising like a Phoenix. Why is that? I don't know - maybe it is because it still costs an arm and a leg to buy some mayo or olive oil at the store. Or - it takes almost $100 to fill up a pickup truck. Or - because so many cannot even afford an Orin Thompson start up home. No, Joe is toast, and even his inner circle is looking eat their own.

And now Covid-19. Is Joe down for the count? Whereas Donald Trump could rely on his two older sons to be his surrogates for him on the campaign trail, who can Joe rely on? Hunter the convicted felon crack head? Jill "fake doctor" Biden? Nobody in the family has the pedigree to be a trusted vessel for the truth. And now even Adam Schiff is after Biden to step aside. Did I also mention that Chucky Schumer and Hakeen Jeffers is also looking for Biden to retire? Oh, what a tangled web we weave!

I have to mention Biden's latest problem as well. His DEI hire to head the Secret Service. Kimerly Cheatle. The one-woman wrecking ball who because she is in way, way over her head, almost got our 45th President (and soon to be our 47th President) - assassinated. When Joe Biden was asked about her competence, he referred to Ms. Cheatle as a "him". Either we are taking this pronoun thing way too far, or Joe is goofier than we thought.

With a scant 110 days left until the election, the Democrats are left with a train wreck instead of a winning hand. Joe Biden has taken this great nation and turned it into a house of cards with a clown car parked in the garage. The one Democrat who was a man crying in the wilderness when there was still time to save the party, was our own Dean Phillips. Instead, the party apparatchiks threw old Dean to the wolves. "No thanks Dean. We will stick with Joe Biden. He knows how to beat Donald Trump". Now the Dems are stuck with an 81-year-old president who does not know him from her. 

Last night, Vance accepted the nomination to be our Veep. Tonight, it will be Donald Trump's turn to accept the nomination to be our 47th president. If the Republicans don't blow it, they should be able to ride this horse over the finish line and take home the gold. Or if they do blow it, they could be left scratching their heads while another uniquely unqualified person gets sworn into the Oval Office.      

Feeling safe?

"Is there any help for us? Absolutely! Donald J. Trump, with a friendly House and Senate, will fix this. But four more years of Biden will be the final nail in our coffin. But help is on the way. The Lord be willing, and if the cheaters do not prosper, help IS in the way." 

Ever since Sloppy Joe raised his hand to take the oath (which he never has kept), the stitched up southern border was relieved of the remaining stiches which held it together. It was proclaimed to be WIDE OPEN TO ANYONE, regardless of that lying sack of whatever (Mayorkas) continues to tell (under oath) Congress when questioned. From the people we have caught, we now know we have over 100 countries represented sneaking into our country. But the "got aways"? Who knows how many and where they came from.

Tonight, when you go to bed, leave your doors unlocked, your wallet on the kitchen table, and if you have a handgun, unload it and hide it somewhere. Now you know what the country looks like. Wide open and undefended. Biden has neutered ICE and made then into nothing more than babysitters. If bad guys come in with the flow of illegals, who is keeping track of them? Who is hunting them? Who is looking out for YOU, the citizen? Zilch, zilch and zilch. 

In all my days living in this country, I have never seen anything like this. I have never seen anything even close to this. Where is the press? Oh, that is right. We don't have a real press anymore. Not even close. The Fourth Estate, which has been so vital to this country since the get-go, is no more. We don't have a press anymore. We don't have real journalists. We have paid actors. DFL and DNC activists. Robots, or worse.

How bad are they? Most folks I know don't even waste five seconds watching any news channel. Fox News is about the best, but even they need to be held accountable. Drudge has sold out, so now the choices are even slimmer.

It pains me to say this, but our country is a mere joke compared to what it once was. Our friends look at us in shock, and our enemies look at us with glee. It only took four years for Biden to finish the dismantling of America, which Obama started. 

Is there any help for us? Absolutely! Donald J. Trump, with a friendly House and Senate, will fix this. But four more years of Biden will be the final nail in our coffin. But help is on the way. The Lord be willing, and if the cheaters do not prosper, help IS in the way. 

 

Living in the land of hope and promise

 

"I am ready for a change. The country is ready for a change. The world is ready for a change. Out with the old and in with the new."

Is this it? The magic ticket? The ticket which will bring America back off the precipice of disaster? I was recently asked by a friend what I thought of JD Vance. I replied that I was good with the pick. Was Vance my first choice? Maybe not, but he was high on the list. He did not bring with him the problems that Mario and Byron Donalds would by both being from Florida (like Trump is). But this young man from Ohio does something the rest of the field could not do - he speaks Midwest. He lives in the Midwest. 

Wait a minute! Was it not JD Vance who said some unkind things about Donald Trump many years ago? Sure was. Most at some times have said some regrettable things. But the important thing is he does not feel that way now. Let bygones be bygones. We have bigger fish to fry right now. The enemy of the state (Joe Biden and the Democrats) are still out there. They need to be defeated. Donald Trump and this former Marine (JD Vance) are just the right folk to take care of business.

As a side note, many who are covering the convention have noticed something different about Donald Trump since last Saturday. He has a different demeanor. His countenance is different. Some say maybe it is because Trump is tired. The rigor of a robust campaign is catching up with this 78-year-old man. Others are saying is maybe a delayed shock of getting wounded in the assassination attempt. Still others think this near-death experience might have changed him. The look on his face reflects the gravity of living in this moment. 

What I hope that Donald Trump does now, is also announce some of his major cabinet picks. Just so folks can compare and contrast against the clown car that Biden has put together using the DEI yardstick. With the world being more dangerous than I have ever seen it, now is the time to show John and Jane Public that the adults are soon to be back in charge. Normal will be the standard - no more making outrageous picks, just to show the world how "progressive" we are.

I am ready for a change. The country is ready for a change.  The world is ready for a change. Out with the old and in with the new. But one more thing requires a mention before I close up. The Iranian threat against Donald Trump. Doe this one concerns me. Heck yes it does! If an outcast kid could make it close enough to kill Donald Trump at a rally, what about trained assassins from Iran? And with our wide-open border, they could be in a sleeper cell, just waiting for the right moment.

The convention is going fine, and the spirit of togetherness is visible and strong. Will this be the team which can do it? I think so. Why? Donald Trump was spared for a reason. 

Should DEI be labeled DOA ASAP?

"Before I get hate mail, please understand this. I am all for being different. None of us are exactly the same. I am okay with presidential cabinets being made up of shorter, taller, skinnier, not as skinnier, black, white, red, yellow and so forth. All I am asking is DEI be replaced with MOST QUALIFIED." 

I have said this since Joe Biden first put his cabinet together after getting elected. Whereas Joe wanted his cabinet to "look like America", it gave me pause to think - what did former cabinets look like? I think they too, looked like America. But Biden took this one step further. In many of his picks, he went for "shock value". Remember Sam Brinton? The non-binary whatever? The cabinet which "looks like America", started looking more like a freak show. 

Why is all of this starting to bubble up now, at the end of the Biden regime? The near assassination of Donald Trump uncovered more problems. It seems the head of the Secret Service is also a DEI pick of Joe Biden. This former security chief of Pepsi was asked to "reshape" the entire Secret Service cadre. Start a program called "30 by 30". In other words, by 2030, have 30% female agents. Is there a problem with that? Maybe.

For reasons only known to this DEI hire to head up the Secret Service, the number of agents available to protect Donald Trump was very low. In addition, the DEI hire was one of them. All 5' 5" of her. The problem is that Donald Trump is over 6' tall. Agents are supposed to be able to shield whom they are protecting from top to bottom. In other words, this gal did not belong in the Secret Service, much less leading it. And the 30% female they want to hire? They better all be over 6' tall. 

Before I get hate mail, please understand this. I am all for being different. None of us are exactly the same. I am okay with presidential cabinets being made up of shorter, taller, skinnier, not as skinnier, black, white, red, yellow and so forth. All I am asking is DEI be replaced with MOST QUALIFIED. It is a novel concept I know - but most reading this article have been hired at jobs they were the most qualified for. Not that they looked a certain way or "checked a certain box".

When Donald Trump becomes president in January, will he appoint any cabinet members who are gay? Absolutely, if they are qualified. Donald Trump will use the "best and the brightest" yardstick when he assembles his new cabinet. That is the way it should be. Our military should be the same way. Best and brightest. 

Should DEI be considered DOA ASAP? Please, yes. It is an experiment we tried, and it failed. Enough of the clown car please - let's get back to running, not ruining, our country.    

Tough, yet blessed

"As good as Donald Trump is, I don't want to edify him into something he is not. Donald Trump cannot save us - only the blood of Jesus can do that. But Donald Trump can use his talents as a builder and a maker to truly Make America Greater Again. We need that, and the world needs that." 

Yesterday, we came about an inch from losing our 45th president. We came an inch from losing the person who will most likely be our 47th president. And we came an inch from maybe from having a civil war. Why do I say that? A medical doctor was on the news this morning. He discussed the closeness of the wound that Donald Trump received. "It is a medical miracle" the doctor said. If Donald Trump had not turned his head to look at something, that round, fired from a sniper with a long gun, would have entered Donald Trump's brain. And then the doctor said, "If a bullet hits that part of the brain, the patient is usually gone - instantly".

Yesterday when Donald Trump was released from the hospital, his son Eric summed it all up - "My Dad is as tough as they come." True words Eric. But Donald Trump is also blessed. This close call was not luck, karma, fate or Juju. It was the divine protection of God Almighty. Donald Trump was blessed, and this nation was blessed. As the saying goes, Donald Trump may not be a perfect man, but he is the perfect man to heal this great nation.

Much is left to be learned about the how and why of yesterday. We can't ask the sniper any questions, as right after he fired, he was taken out by Secret Service counter snipers. Was he one of these sheeple who believed all the blather from the left that Donald Trump was going to ruin our democracy? Or was he one of these leftists who knew the left could not defeat Trump at the ballot box. 

Here is the bad news for the secular humanists on the left side of the street. There is an old saying that if you try and kill the king, you better not only wound him. And that is exactly what they have done. Like a Phoenix, Donald Trump will rise from this near-death experience as even a stronger candidate. Instead of killing Trump, they have made him even stronger. 

The similarities of Trump and Reagan are almost spooky. When Reagan was shot, the bullet lodged within an inch of his heart. If Reagan had zigged instead of zagged (as the expression) goes, we would have lost the Gipper early in his presidency. But we didn't, and Reagan went on to do amazing things, not the least was to end the Cold War without a shot being fired. Why was Trump spared? Why did he turn his head ever so slightly to save his life? I can only imagine...

This morning in church, my wife and I will lead the staff in prayer before the services begin. We will offer prayers of praise and adoration for the blessings that God gave us yesterday. Yes, that was the hand of God protecting us all yesterday. And for that, we will give thanks.  

Time to desert the desert?

"Maybe the climate is changing that area of our country into a smaller version of Saudi Arabia. Could be - but I do know this much. Living in Phoenix this time of year means spending most of your time indoors. And praying the electric grid holds out."

It seems like it happens every year now. A big ugly heat dome moves over our desert southwest, and a vicious weather "cap" develops. Very Southern California, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico become like an oven. In fact, anyone who was visited or live down there (I have been there in the summer), testifies it feels like once you step outside, you ARE in an oven. No thanks.

This summer, there was a new record hot day at Sky Harbor Airport (Phoenix) -118 degrees. Having day after day of over 110 degrees now, is more common than uncommon. Las Vegas, the city which never sleeps, is also a hotbed (so to speak). And Death Valley, is the place in California which lives up to its name. Hitting 120 degrees in Death Valley is easy to do in July. And some fool hearty folks who decide to challenge this type of heat, end up dying from the heat.

What is the city of Phoenix doing in spite of all this heat? Growing. Right now, Phoenix is the fourth most populated city in the United States. The amount of water required to service those 1.6M people living there is staggering. Meanwhile, Lake Mead, which is a major source of water for the desert southwest, is shrinking. Even though Mead has recovered a bit this year due to the "atmospheric rivers" which dumped copious amounts of rain on the Colorado River, hydrologists expect the lake level to drip again by the end of this year. And 2025 could see the lowest level in Mead since the 1930's. That will be very bad for the region.

This weekend it will be hotter than blazes in the Twin Cities. However, by next Tuesday things should return to summer normal for the upper Midwest. I could not imagine having this kind of heat hanging around for month after month. It is brutal and can be deadly. For the folks living in the desert southwest, I know the winters down there are good. But the summers are far from good.

As the sun sets...

"I know it is trite to say this, as we have heard this before. But this time it really is for all the marbles. Don't think so? Just ask our friends overseas. They have had it with Joe. They will tell you. The world needs a sheriff once again."

I have heard in the past four years that the sun might be setting on America. The once great country has intentionally throttled itself into a sameness with needless regulations and taxes. We have gone from the country of "can do" to a country of leading from behind - which has now become following from behind. How did all this happen? Joe Biden. The people who voted for Joe Biden. MAGA went from Make America Great Again under Donald Trump, to the new MAGA - Make America Guilty Again. Guilty? Guilty of what? Being great. Equal opportunity to do just about anything. Now replaced with the race to the bottom known as equity via DEI.

Last night, our soon to be gone President of the United States, held a "big boy" presser. It was "just okay" for Joe, as the bar has been set so low for him. However, for a normal president, it would have been a disaster. It reminded me of having an older relative when I was younger, with the older relative having some cognitive issues. When the relative would come to a family event, the question was always asked, "How is {fill in the blank"} doing today." The answer would always either be "okay", or "not good today". That is the question that everyone (especially Democrats) is now asking about Joe Biden. How did he do today? Again, the answer for last night was "just okay". 

Here is the fact of life. The sun is setting on Joe Biden. As an older friend once told me, it is hell when you brain goes before your body does. What does all this mean? Everyone ages different. Joe's brain is aging before the rest of him ages. In four years, by the end of his second term, Joe might not be able to recognize Jill. That is how cruel dementia or Parkinson's is. As hard as it is on a family to witness this decline, it would be catastrophic for a country, should that person be president.

When does Joe Biden need to retire? If it were up to me, tomorrow. Having Biden in charge right now is putting this country in grave danger. Even a gadfly like Harris would be better to have in charge until next January. Then when Donald Trump takes the oath of office for a second time, the rest of the world will know this country is not "sun-setting". On the contrary, as Ronald Reagan would say, "It will be morning again in America". 

Next week is the RNC convention. All eyes on Wisconsin for this major political event. Joe's handlers will keep him hidden and low key until this convention is over. What will America see and hear during the convention? Not a human gaffe machine, that is for sure. We will hear how we will once again have more secure borders. Less crime in our cities. More energy. A stronger defense. A more peaceful world. NO DEI ANYWHERE!! Opportunity, opportunity, opportunity.

It is time to take a broom and sweep out the naysayers, the lackies, the grifters and get them out of our government. This time really do need a red wave. A tidal wave of red. I know it is trite to say this, as we have heard this before. But this time it really is for all the marbles. Don't think so? Just ask our friends overseas. They will tell you. The world needs a sheriff once again.   

Should he stay or should he go (Joe)?

 

"What do you think Joe? Should you stay or should you go? Are you the problem right now with the Democrat Party? Not a bit. You are only a symptom. The problems, the cancer of the Democrat Party, go much deeper than you Joe. You are only a fifty-year example of statism and tyranny."

Last this afternoon, is the take it or leave it prize. The pot of gold. The big bonanza (maybe). Or as it is called now, "Biden's big boy press conference." If Joe freezes up or refers to himself as the first black woman serving under a black president (again), it will be all over but the shouting. However, should the Red Bull work this time, and Joe comes across as sharp as a tack, then many of the naysayers will shuffle back into their corners and shut up.

But here is the elephant in the room that everyone seems to be avoiding. George Clooney nailed it. "The Joe Biden we saw at our fundraiser was NOT the same Joe Biden we saw in 2020." Ergo, that is the issue. This wreck of a man we are seeing right now on the national stage, is not the same man we will be seeing this time next year. Or maybe even this time next month. 

This reminds me of when a relative of mine had a cavity and was scared to go to the dentist. I had to remind him over and over again, that cavities do not selfheal. Only a dentist can fix a cavity. The same is true for dementia or Parkinson's. Only with those two diseases, they cannot be fixed. Maybe slowed down a bit, but not fixed. They will only get worse with age. They will not selfheal.

My biggest fear, just like it was four years ago, is that the sheeple will elect this ancient politician (warts and all), and then our White House will look more like Cozy Acres Nursing Home. The bad guys of the world will see this as a four-year window to ride all over us - create mayhem where they once feared to tread. Possibly initiate World War III. Maybe even nuke us.

I do, however, have one more fear which is different. Four years ago, the citizens and patriots were fearful of what Biden MIGHT do. Now after four long years, we have seen what Biden WILL do. What might happen? Citizens and patriots who have lost many freedoms of liberties under Biden, will just decide to sit the next four years out. Don't participate in anything. Or - their response could be worse than just inaction. It could be catastrophic.

One former Democrat was on the news and had an interesting observation. She really loved the Democrat Party of old. However, the current Democrat Party, now the Party of Marx, has no interest to her. So, she is switching from blue to red. Another woman who is Jewish, been a Democrat her entire life, wants no part of what this current party is. Her quote - "I no longer feel safe in the Democrat Party". 

What do you think Joe? Should you stay or should you go? Are you the problem right now with the Democrat Party? Not a bit. You are only a symptom. The problems, the cancer of the Democrat Party, go much deeper than you Joe. You are only a fifty-year example of statism and tyranny.
