The Dean of cheap booze!

Traitor! Turncoat! Oh, I can just hear the name calling starting already! Dean Phillips, the Dean of cheap booze in the Twin Cities, has the audacity to try and topple our feeble octogenarian president. First it was RFK Jr, who dared try. That caused Bobby Jr. to leave the Democrat Party and go independent. But now Dean? One of the founders of the "Problem Creator" caucus? Why would he go up against an incumbent president? I mean, so what if Joe Biden does not know if it is Tuesday or Thursday.

I have not told this story before. When Dean Phillips first announced he was running for the House, my wife and I saw his campaign booth at the fair. I went up to chat with Mr. Phillips. He unfortunately, was running late, and my wife did not want to wait around there. So, we left. If he had been there, I would have shaken his hand and thanked him. Like most college students of my vintage should have. If not for the Phillips brand of cheap booze, us poor college kids would have had a tough time making it!

Politically, Dean Phillips is a squish. One day, when the women of the DNC caucus wanted to make a statement about how women were treated, they all wore white. One guy also went out and bought a white suit. Dean Phillips. At that point in time, I realized that our cheap booze king in Minnesota was nothing more than a panderer. A squish. He may be running against Joe Biden, but the cheap booze king voted for most all the awful things that Biden wanted. And now our country is in a real fix. No money. We are back to drinking that awful Phillips booze, as that is all we can afford. Maybe that was Dean's play after all.

Dean's chance of unseating an incumbent Democrat president are slim and none. And Slim just died. So, what is the point? The limelight. Since Dean inherited so much cash from the cheap booze business, he has money to burn. If not buying a while suit, it would be to run in a few primaries. What is his platform? Same as Bidens, only without the mumbles and slurs trying to explain it.

By the way Dean, need I remind you that you are Jewish? Have you looked around your party as of late? Lots of PLO flags flying, but precious few Israeli flags. Having Jews in the Democrat Party might be so yesteryear. Today, it is oddballs like Rashida Tlaib who are getting all the buzz in your party. Bobby Jr. left the party, as he said he no longer recognized it. You can leave also, as in the Republican Party Jewish folks are welcome. In the new Socialist Democrat party? Not so much. 

Just when you thought the 2024 election could not get stranger, Dean hops in. Who is next, Angie Craig? On second thought, she better consider leaving the "new" Democrat Party also. Now that the Democrats have become Palestinian surrogates, Angie needs to remember gay folks might also not be welcomed as Democrats.
