Anyone who is watching the news as of late, and is not concerned, needs to take another look. We are on thin ice right now, and things could go sideways quickly. Plus, as the Holy Bible teaches us about the final days, right will become known as wrong, and wrong will become known as right. To see the worldwide protests against Israel, WHO WAS NOT THE AGRESSOR IN THIS DUST UP, is simply amazing. For Israel to be castigated as the aggressor, the bad guy, boggles one's mind. And the protests seem to be in every country - including ours!
As the battle starts to slowly heat up, and the conflict spreads across the land, the West Bank is now showing a newfound aggression. As is the northern part of Israel up by Lebanon. Six ChiCom blue water navy ships are now in the area. Supposedly to do some joint naval exercises with Oman. Oman? Really? How about a different reason? China is a puppet master and wants to be closer to its puppet master pal - Iran. They want to be close to the action if the cauldron starts to boil over. Any country which is Muslim could turn on Israel in a wink. That would include NATO member Turkey and longtime friend of the USA - Saudi Arabia.
There is more here that meets the eye. This attack by Hamas might have been years in the planning. It might have only been phase 1. Phase 2 might be Israel going into Gaza for the long anticipated "land war". Phase 3 would be Hezbollah's response from the north, as well as more Islamic freedom fighters from the West Bank. We would have something similar to a 1967 type of Middle Eastern war. That would pave the road nicely for Iran to enter the fray in the final phase. It would lead to the Muslim's version of the "final solution." Destroy Israel, kill as many Jews as possible, take their land.
There is a random variable, however. The United States. We are Israel's closest friend in the area, maybe even the entire world. As much as Israel likes to fight its own battles, this one might be a bridge too far for them. Israel will need us to survive. The most interesting (and bothersome) thing however, is our country is not mentioned in the Bible as being involved in the final battle.
We have a "lead from behind", timid, 80-year-old President. We have no Speaker of the House. We have depleted ammo supplies. And the world is spinning out of control. Now here is the good news. God is still in control. He is still on His throne. We just need to remember that as thing unfold in Israel.
We have a good excuse for not being mentioned: Not existing till much later!
ReplyDeleteP. S. What, precisely, is a "blue-water navy? I've seen this expression before--first with regard to the USSR in the 1970s--but not its definition.
