Why it matters...

"Whereas Trump is a builder, Biden is like a giant wrecking ball. If Biden gets sworn in on January 20th, the year 2020 will be looking pretty good as compared to 2021."   

The difference between Joe Biden and Donald Trump is like night and day. Now there is a "duh"! That is like telling you water is wet, and the night is dark. And because of the fact they are so different, is a prime reason why this all matters. Biden has threatened to undo most all of the good things that President Trump did. But would Trump be fighting so hard to right this wrong (barring any cheating), if Biden was a centrist? A man of honor. Instead of a corrupted tool and user. And a socialist wannabe.

Being a Navy guy, it is with pride that I can say the two Democrat Presidents in my lifetime who had the most valor were John Kennedy and Jimmy Carter. True - Carter turned out to be a disappointment as President, but he was still (and is) a good man. Kennedy had a few moral lapses, but as a President, he was very good. After Carter, the moral character of Democrat Presidents went downhill quickly. 

But as bad as Clinton and Obama were, they were better than Biden. And that is not saying much. Biden is ill-equipped for the office of the Presidency, in so many ways. In fact, the only way this life long loser could become President, is by being a pawn in the greatest cheat in the history of our Republic. In less than a month, we could go from one of the best Presidents we have ever had, to a clunker. Even honest Democrats know that Biden is a clunker. But they had to get rid of Trump. Soon, they will be focused on getting rid of the clunker.

Whereas Donald Trump is a man of great vision, Joe Biden is a man of zero vision. He is now, and always has been, a user. A man who enriched himself, just by warming a seat in Washington. As the saying goes, "Biden is not part of the swamp - he IS the swamp". He has become corrupted by the city which corrupts so many. For Joe however, being there for over 40 years, has allowed him to be left in the pool long enough to ensure every square inch of him is basted in corruption. His son Hunter, learned this well from his father.

This why it matters. We are not getting a John Kennedy to follow up Donald Trump. Heck, we are not even getting a Jimmy Carter. We are getting a temporary place holder, who has trouble telling time at high noon. A man, if he has a friendly House and Senate, can destroy this country in a matter of two years. Not because he is cleaver enough to do it - he is a tool for those who DO know how to do it.

I never thought that a make believe sea monster could garner this much hope in the masses. But the Kraken is needed right now, and many are pinning their hope on its release. Whereas Trump is a builder, Biden is like a giant wrecking ball. If Biden gets sworn in on January 20th, the year 2020 will be looking pretty good as compared to 2021.   

 

And the Georgia run-off, will tell us...

If we are lucky, the two Republicans will prove the polls wrong and win big. If our bad luck continues, it will be a mess. At least it won't happen in 2020. Maybe that will help.

Well folks - here we are, only a week away from the long awaited, America changing (or saving) Georgia run-off elections, for the two US Senate seats. Zillions of dollars have been spent, whomever is someone in politics has been in the Peach State, campaigning for one or more of the candidates. We have heard every angle, every theory, from every pundit. And what we know for certain is this. The outcome of this election may shape our country for years to come, or it may tell us nothing. Huh?

If you have seen the latest polling for these two seats, they could not be any closer. Just as the country is divided in two right now, these two seats are even Steven. One seat is within .3% - well within mandatory recount territory. The other is exactly even. Down to the tenth of a percent. So, come the day after the election, we could end up knowing exactly nothing. 

Where does that leave the country? If Biden does get sworn in, and regardless on how Georgia turns out, this country could for the first time in almost forever, become ungovernable. With half the country getting ready to spit on the ground Biden walks on, and the other half happily taking their daily blue pills, this country could be on the verge of sputtering to a halt. With wealth being despised, faith being ignored, babies being butchered, and our Constitution besmirched, this great nation may not survive 2021.

What do we need to do? 

1) Release the Kraken. Start the storm. Do whatever needs to be done to keep Donald Trump in office. Everyone who is honest knows Biden did not win, so we need to correct this travesty - NOW.

2) Save the Senate. We need to win Georgia, so Donald Trump will have something to work with during his second term. He can still govern having an evenly divided Senate, but not as much will get done. Work to get better candidates for the Senate open seats in 2022.

3) Focus on taking the House back in 2022. We were close this year. For Trump's last two years, he deserves a friendly House and Senate.

4) Keep draining the swamp. What we saw from the 2020 election, we have miles to go. Way, way too many swamp dwellers remain - even in our party.

5) Finally, the perp walk. There are some very bad people out there, who have done some unthinkable things. Treason and worse. Some unspeakable things. All parties, all parts of government, all parts of society need to be cleaned. Clean house, convict the guilty. 

Anyhow - back to Georgia. If we are lucky, the two Republicans will prove the polls wrong and win big. If our bad luck continues, it will be a mess. At least it won't happen in 2020. Maybe that will help.

Why we won't shut up and go away...

"Until the left cooperates, and gives immutable proof that Biden won fair and square (and that means looking down every rabbit hole), we will NEVER accept Biden as nothing more than a corrupt tool."

I have heard this many times from the left - "Why can't you guys just accept the fact that Donald Trump lost. It is time to have a smooth transition of power." My response? You are right. If Trump did in fact lose, I (we) could accept that. However, the facts are not with that outcome. The facts are with a stolen election. And guess what? Not one Democrat has been able to prove this election was on the up and up, nor disprove all the "oddities" which happened to Donald Trump.

When Trump beat Hillary in 2016, he did well with minority groups. Not excellent, but well. In 2020, Trump got the most minority votes (for a Republican), in just about forever. The response by the left on this most important issue? Crickets. 

In 2020, Donald Trump received 74.2 M votes. In 2016, he received 63 M votes (and won). One would think if Trump received 11.2 M MORE votes in 2020 than in 2016, it should have been a cakewalk (or a landslide for Trump). Any normal person would think this to be odd. The response from the Democrats? Crickets.

At 8 pm on election night, the polls in PA closed and Trump was ahead by 200,000 votes. A cozy win. Then all of a sudden, a raft of mail in votes come in, most all for Biden. Just like that, a large lead is erased, and Biden has the lead. With all the suspicions about voter fraud via mail in ballots, this appeared to be exhibit "A". The Democrat response? Live with it - we won.

Then there is Dominion software. That software is tainted, and any vote which went through a machine which used that software should be considered suspect. This more than anything else, could have been the reason for so many Trump votes being "flipped" to Biden. If the shoe was on the other foot, I would want the truth, so the losing side would accept my guy as the legit winner. But the Democrats do not. They don't give a damn. They won, by hook or my CROOK, and that is it.

Until the left cooperates, and gives immutable proof that Biden won fair and square (and that means looking down every rabbit hole), we will NEVER accept Biden as nothing more than a corrupt tool. NEVER. That is why we will not go away. Get used to us. There are 75 to 80 million of us, and we are not going away. 

 

Same old Joe...

"Get ready folks. This is the team who stole the election. Everything crappy Biden promised he would do to us, is already starting to take shape."

There are a raft of reasons why I could never stand this imposter sitting in the White House. What happened yesterday, was one of the prime reasons. Now, I am not going to let the President nor Steve Mnuchin off the hook for the stimulus mess. They need to take some of the blame. 

For taking six months of BS negotiations, and then growing into this almost 6,000 page monster, was a shame on everybody involved - especially Mnuchin. I expected him to be the cop. And the President should have said from the get-go, the only bill for Covid -19 he would sign, would be a single subject bill, dealing only with Covid - 19 issues. Plus, the next stimulus payments would be up to $4,000 per couple, making less than $150,000/year. Period.

But the rest is history. Those of us who have been on this planet for a while, know how the Democrats work. Come up with a bill, call it a name everyone agrees that we need, and then stuff it full of crap. Crap which most people do not want. Welcome to the world of omnibus. 

There are few in Congress better than creating one of these Frankenstein's monsters (omnibus bills) than Ms. Nancy is. And this one was a whopper. Anything and everything one could imagine, including how to study how some low end creature use a treadmill.

Plus (I almost forgot this one), not only did it have a zillion dollars of pork in it, it also only had $600 per person for stimulus. Instead of the requested $2,000 per person. Tie that all together, and you have a big stinky turd, floating in everyone's punch bowl. And now the bill sits in Mara Lago, unsigned, and never will be by this President.

All this fray, has awoken Slo Joe out of this slumber. He tweeted a nasty tweet about the President yesterday. He blamed Trump for not signing the bill, and saving millions from financial misery. Wait - Joe. Hold on one blooming second. You would sign this POS full of crap, including money for gender studies to Pakistan? Yep - he sure would. But why, Joe, why? Because he is Joe Biden. This is how he has always been. He does not give a rip about the taxpayer, nor (because he has never worked), does he understand money. So if he were President, he would have signed it in a New York minute.

Get ready folks. This is the team who stole the election. Everything crappy Biden promised he would do to us, is already starting to take shape. If there is a storm a brewing, it is time for the President's legal team to start their engines. If there is a Kraken hiding somewhere, it is time for that Kraken to reveal, and kick some butt.

The President is out of Washington for a couple of weeks, away from Washington. Christmas is over, and there is no time like the present. Time to get it on folks. Get that storm a brewing. It is now or never. 

Trump's Dilemma?

"The states under Republican control better step up to the plate, and soon. We need to re-do this election, and do it the right way, so it can be shown that Donald Trump was the real winner - and by a large margin. Until then, I don't know where we are."

When I was growing up, there was a popular quiz show called "I've got a Secret". My folks watched it, and since it was "G" rated back then, I would watch it with them. Can't quite remember all the subtleties of the show, but the name of the game was to guess (after getting clues), what secret a contestant was holding. Why bring this up? Because I think our President knows the deepest, darkest secret of them all (excluding aliens).

I know many conservatives who voted for the President, and believe they have been cheated. They want the President to spill his guts. Tell us everything Mr. President - we can handle it! No - maybe we can't. Here is my take. The corruption, the rot, goes so deep in many corners of our government, to tell the nation everything he knows right now, might rip us apart. Rip us apart so totally, there would be no fixing it. 

But he also knows this. If Slo Joe becomes POTUS # 46, with 75M of us knowing he is not legit, and we have been cheated, it will forever ruin our election process. Like, why vote, when the results are already set? This is Third World, live and in color.

This I believe, is Trump's dilemma. Which way to go, that will cause the least amount of harm to the country. This might be the toughest choice to be made by any President - ever. You mean even more critical than dropping the A Bomb? Yes, because it Trump does not play this one the right way, it could mean the end of our Union. Or, it could lead to gunfire, violence, and death. It could be Civil War 2.0.

Where does that leave us? Many of us feel like we are in nowhere land right now. A legit President being driven from office, and an imposter, who cheated his way into the White House. Any Executive Order, any bill Biden signs into law, would be counterfeit. Meanwhile, the real winner of the election would be living outside of the White House. It will be a classic example of Swamp vs. Truth.

The states under Republican control better step up to the plate, and soon. We need to re-do this election, and do it the right way, so it can be shown that Donald Trump was the real winner - and by a large margin. Until then, I don't know where we are. And I don't think I am alone on that issue.  

The Washington money question

"I can only imagine what this bill would have looked like with Biden as President, Nancy as Speaker, and Chuck as Senate leader. But who cares? It is only free money we are talking about, right? Our kids and grandies can fix this mess which we helped create." 

Question: How to you spend six months working on a Covid relief bill, and then when finished, have it be 6,000 pages long, with only six hours for those who are voting on it, review it? That seems to be the question of the week. Maybe the year. This monster bill, which last July was close to $3T, solves very little, and gives only a modicum of the relief which is needed. 

So, what is in this $900B POS? Not much. $1,200 for a married couple who make less than $150k/year. Some unemployment dollars. A provision which keeps landlords from foreclosing on renters who don't pay their rent. But how much was allocated for restaurants and bars, who are barely holding oy their fingernails? Nada, nothing, not a cent. Six months of screwing around with this thing, and businesses which traditionally don't ask for a penny of help, get nothing? Why so long Ms. Nancy?

First off, she wanted to help some of her big blue buddies who are mayors and governors of failing blue cities an states. The ones who are in fiscal distress, due to chronic overspending. The Republican Senators wanted none of that. Cheers to them on that point. But then they went to sleep, and allowed some raw pork to be added. Hold on for this one - and this is not all of it:

Food Distribution on Indian Reservations - $100M

National Endowment for the Arts - $75M

NASA - $60M

Education - $31M

Public Broadcasting - $75M

SSA Employee Productivity Programs - $300M

Museum Services - $50M

Department of State - $674M

USAID - $353M

Peace Corps - $88M

DOT - $31B

HUD - $17.4B

This is what drives normal taxpayers nuts. This was a Covid Relief Bill - not supposed to be an omnibus bill. But this is the way Washington does business. And citizens and patriots, buckle up for this news flash. Even though many Democrats lead the charge on this bizarre and reckless spending, many Republicans are willing partners in this taxpayer theft. In other words, this POS bill is an offspring of the swamp.

And this type of bill can happen in Trump's Washington. I can only imagine what this bill would have looked like with Biden as President, Nancy as Speaker, and Chuck as Senate leader. But who cares? It is only free money we are talking about, right? Our kids and grandies can fix this mess which we helped create. 

 

An unbelievable hand!

For those on the left, look closely at Biden. Listen to him. Look at his record. Could this man possibly get over 80 million votes? I didn't think so either. 

A few weeks ago, I went out to Vegas to play in (for me at least), a high stakes poker game. Shortly after we started, one of the guys at the table (we were playing 5 card draw), was dealt four aces. I could not believe it! I had never seen that before! I mean, I have studied the odds. Getting four aces dealt to you (statistically speaking), only happens once in every 2.4 M hands of poker. Talk about luck!

And then, about an hour or so later, it happened again! Four aces being dealt to the same person, twice on the same evening. I excused myself from the table and went up to the event organizer. I told him something had to be wrong. I was being cheated. The chances of getting four aces dealt to you twice in the same night, had to be a zillion to one. The event organizer looked at me kind of funny and said, "Well, it is possible, you know". True - it was possible, but extremely improbable. I told him I still felt like I got cheated.

I went back to the table and took my chair. I was still grumbling as this "improbable" streak of luck had already cost me a lot of money. About an hour before quit time, it happened again! I thought the odds of this happening have to be like getting hit by lightening 100 days in a row! I once again went up to the event organizer and complained. I told him I knew I was getting cheated, and someone would have to give me cast iron proof that I was not before I could accept this almost impossible series of events. The organizer told me just to accept it and move on. There is no way I could do either. I knew I got cheated. Now, how to prove it. 

Get the message here? Sound familiar? This is all about what happened to Donald Trump and those who voted for him last month. The other side keeps telling us to accept it, and move on. The way Biden won was "possible", albeit very improbable. But for the good of the country, forget we probably (or absolutely) got cheated, and move on. Only one problem with that plan. Most of the 75+ million who voted for the President won't accept getting cheated. Won't accept the country getting cheated either.

Here is the bigger problem as I see it. If this is not resolved in the next month, we are going to have a mess of biblical proportions. Half the country will not accept Biden, nor any EOs or laws he signs. Why? They will be as counterfeit as he is. Either Trump needs to do something unprecedented and extraordinary, or we as a nation, are going to be in very deep weeds.

A question which begs to be asked...

"Would some journalist please, ask this question? The truth always works the best when exposed, and the least well when obfuscated. Right now, more than any time in my lifetime, we need the truth."

Last week, Biden and his "Doctor" wife, were being interviewed by that odd Canadian with a funny ear. It was fun to watch, as after four years of courtroom type grilling President Trump, we are back to softball questions. Like when Clinton was asked what type of undies he wore (jockey or boxer). Or when Obama was asked what types of music he had on his iPod. I fully expected Biden to be asked if red, green, or both were his favorite Christmas colors. Riveting stuff, for sure.

No, Biden needs to be handled with kid gloves, even more so than Clinton or Obama. Why? He is a dawdling old fool, and could "step in it" very easily. That being said, there is a golden question to be asked of the one who thinks he should be king. A question which might be the most important ever asked in our country. This is not hyperbole, this is fact. Please go with me on this one.

I am going to go out on a limb here, and suppose that Biden had no clue that evil forces were stealing the election away from Donald Trump. Even though he was hip deep in family graft which went on when he was Veep, I am going to say due to his current lack of mental acuity, he was kept in the dark. In his feeble mind, he got the most votes EVER. Why? Just because everyone liked him so much. If that was the case, here is the question to be asked.

"Mr. Biden (I can't call him President Elect), if these allegations by the Trump team are true, and votes were stolen from Donald Trump and converted over to votes for you, what would you do? If enough votes were switched to show Donald Trump won, and won big." In show biz, that is called a "mic drop moment". A hush falls over the audience listening to the interview. Biden looks dazed and confused. "Doctor" Biden sat with her mouth wide open, looking like she had just swallowed a cockroach. Then the follow-up question came.

"Mr. Biden, if these allegations were true, and you believed them to be true, would you call Donald Trump and concede the election?" Biden now looks like he had been stuck with a 2 X 4. He starts to mutter something, sounding like, "I don't know". His "doctor" wife then sprung into action. With red face and raised voice she said, "Of course not! What a stupid question! We won, fair and square!"

Why would "Doctor" Biden react that way? Maybe she was part of the cabal. In any event this is the type of questioning which needs to happen NOW! In absence of knowing the answer, the truth, in one month we could be swearing in an imposter to be POTUS # 46. Plus - that leaves half the country knowing they just got robbed, and voting in our great country might just be a waste of time.

Would some journalist please, ask this question? The truth always works the best when exposed to daylight, and the least well when obfuscated. Right now, more than any time in my lifetime, we need the truth. In broad daylight, we need the truth.

One giant waste of money

"In the paper this morning was an article about the unelected, rogue, Met Council trying to breathe some life into the failed Blue Line extension. They are excited by the fact that Biden, who has never worked a day in his life, is going to be the President (won't they be surprised when he is not)."

If I were to be asked, what the biggest folly in the Twin Cities is right now, I would say, hands down, our light rail system. What do you have against trains, Bird? Nothing, actually. Except they are expensive, and hardly anyone rides them. How bad is it? According to a Channel 5 report done by Tom Hauser recently, LRT ridership is down 97%. Like I said, hardly anyone rides them.

Before somewhat jumps in my stuff and tells me about the effects of the Floyd issue as well as the pandemic, let me first say that ridership was also down in March. Not 97% down, but still down. According to a March 2020 article in Twincities.com, ridership was already down on the LRT system. Get ready now for the slew of excuses - a harsh winter, low interest rates in car loans, and the proliferation of Uber and Lyft services. The real truth? Crime and fewer folks are working from offices downtown.

So far in this late fall, we have had periodic road closures so the notorious Green Line can continue being worked on. Yes, that $2B boondoggle is still hanging around. And once it is up and riding, who will use it? Good question. Some demographers are predicting this pandemic, as well as the social unrest in larger cities, are going to change the way we work and live. De-centralized instead of centralized (like Agenda 21 wants us to be). I have not talked to anyone, who now thinks it would be a great idea to work and/or live downtown.

In the paper this morning, was an article about the unelected, rogue, Met Council trying to breathe some life into the failed Blue Line extension. They are excited by the fact that Biden, who has never worked a day in his life, is going to be the President (won't they be surprised when he is not). Also having Mayor Pete in charge of Transportation, will mean a steady stream of "free money" from Washington to fund these worthless and very expensive transportation projects.

By the way, it is also the North Star which is gathering dust right now. The service from the expensive North Star rail hubs is all but shut down. I drove by the Coon Rapids station earlier this week. The giant parking lot was all but empty, and the station looked deserted. Even in the best of days, the North Star bled cash. It solved zero traffic problems, and served only a few. Once the pandemic is over, it will take a long time to get the North Star back to even close to "normal".

Bottom line? The rail system in the Twin Cities have done nothing except provide better venues for law breakers. The inner city hubs have proved to be great places to get mugged at night. But, we will keep pouring good money after bad into these things. Why? As Forrest Gump would say, "Stupid is as stupid does". Ain't that the truth, Mr. Gump. 

Biden's Firsts

"Enough for now. This is all to weird and depressing to go on much more. We need help in getting out of this ditch. So, one more Star Wars quote. 'Help us Obi-Wan Kenobi! Only you can save us now!'" 

Slo Joe is slowly starting to fill out his cabinet. He is very proud that in his cabinet, he has so many "firsts". A first this, and first that. No more "Mr. White Bread" like the Democrats accused Trump's cabinet of being (which incidentally, is not true). Nope - Biden wants a "one off" cabinet, and so far, he seems to be getting it.

Oh - we can't forget Biden's staff either. That very odd Jen O'Malley Dillion, who is going to be Slo Joe's Deputy Chief of Staff, needs to have her mouth washed out with soap. Recently, she called Republicans a "bunch of f**ks". One of Dillions supporters brushed it off by saying, "That is just Jen. She talks salty, because she is from Boston". Really?

Back to Slo Joe's cabinet. This is yet another example of wanting to do everything anti-Trump. If that means having a cabinet which resembles the Star War's bar scene, so be it. It is too bad we have not had disclosure as yet about the existence of the Galactic Federation. If we had, Biden could have also had a one legged Martian, with a lisp in his cabinet. In any event, the message is strong and undeniable from Slo Joe. "I AM NOT TRUMP!"

Speaking of which, another goofy idea that Slo Joe had to show he is not Trump, is to put an immediate halt to the border wall. This is a colossally bad idea. Not only would that open the floodgates once again to all kinds of illegals pouring into the country (but they will be voters for the Democrats), much of the steel has already been ordered for more miles of fencing. Billions of dollars of material might be scrapped, by the man who has never had a job. But why should he care? Not his money - it is ours.

Actually, putting these "firsts" aside in filling out his cabinet (what ever happened to hiring the most qualified?), Slo Joe has some real "firsts" to pin by his name. He will be our first fiat President. Our first President owned and operated by China. Our first President to have stolen an election from the guy who won in a landslide. Our first President who can barely put a sentence together. Our first President who has a son more corrupt than Al Capone. 

In a bit over a month, we are going to turn the reigns of government over to the kids once again. Our government has gone from operating very well and doing some extraordinary things with adults in charge. Now it will be once again watching the Star Wars bar scene. Plus we will listening to all the invective spewed out by the woman-child known as Jen Dillion. And who do we have to thank for this? The globalists, the secular humanists, and the CCP. Slo Joe is only the puppet in this side show - but he is too dumb and slow to realize it.

Is The Insurrection Act on the Christmas menu?

"If something is going to happen, it will be in the next week. Besides Covid acting like the Grinch who stole Christmas, the country being locked down under martial law could be the fitting way to exit 2020."

Our nation seems to be heading in two separate directions right now. Which two directions? Ones that can cause a head on collision. One direction is the one our fiat President Select Biden is heading in. He wants to undo as much of the Trump Administration as possible, and do it as quickly as practical. Biden's administration will be the ying to the yang in Donald Trump's administration. Meanwhile, Donald Trump is still trying to stop this egregious wrong from overtaking our government. Proving what we all know was wrong, has so far proved to be a daunting task.

Seems we might have been giving the Democrats much to much credit for pulling this heist off. They are cunning, but are not that cleaver. Seems the DNI, John Ratcliffe, has authorized the release of a report, detailing there was foreign influence on our November election. It came from Russia, Iran, and (wait for it) - China. Unlike the faux news report that President Trump was working with the Russians to steal the 2016 election from Hillary, this report seems to have some teeth.

Then where does that leave us? Now what? For starters, the President (the real one), could invoke powers authorized by the Insurrection Act of 1807. Unlike the Logan Act (which is never used), the Insurrection Act has been used way more than once. Throw in The International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977, and the stage is set for the President to declare martial law before Christmas. 

Fact or fiction? If what is suspected is true, and Donald Trump did win in a decisive manner, and then had his victory stolen from him, this will be the greatest national crime in our nation's history. If on the other hand, and the highly improbable became plausible, then we really do need to move forward as a nation, and accept Biden as POTUS # 46. However, like most of us, I will need to see some cast iron proof that Biden won this thing, and did not steal it. 

If something is going to happen, it will be in the next week. Besides Covid acting like the Grinch who stole Christmas, the country being locked down under martial law could be the fitting way to exit 2020. In a year where anything and everything odd and/or bad happened, this could be the frosting on the cake. Here is hoping for a more tranquil (and normal), 2021.    

Coattails?

I have been doing some research on this most improbable election we had this year. As been said by many, and said many times, the numbers make no sense. None what-so-ever. What was my baseline? Barack Hussein Obama. Our "transformation" President. The one who ran against a very weak Republican candidate in 2008, and was going to "clean up" at the polls. Clean up all the way down the ticket.

Obama did "clean up" in 2008. He even had some Republicans cross over and vote for him. Why? History. First mixed race President. The House flipped back to blue, and the United States Senate (thanks to grabby Franken) had a super majority. Most states had Democrat Governors. It looked like the days of Ronald Reagan were over for good.

If we can peel the onion back just a bit, it gets interesting. In 2008, this wildly popular newcomer (Obama) did very well. He ended up with 69.5 M votes - an impressive victory! There was a 21 seat pickup by the Democrats in the House, and 8 seats in the Senate. It was truly a "blue wave". To add insult to injury, the Democrats had Governors in 29 of the 50 states.

Flash forward to 2020. The Democrats have Slo Joe running for President, who can't put a sentence together. He is the opposite of dynamic, opposite of Obama. Biden did about zero campaigning, and very little interaction with the press. He was running against an incumbent President, whose list of accomplishments are a mile long. Now it gets goofy - real goofy. Joe Biden was able to get 81.3 M votes - over 10 M more than Obama received in 2008. Huh?

And how about Biden's coattails compared to Obama? Short answer - there were none. In 2020, the House Republicans picked up 15 seats, giving the Democrats the slimmest majority in decades. The Democrats only picked up 1 Senate seat, with two yet to be decided. Plus the Republicans picked up 1 additional Governor seat, giving them 27 out of 50 states.

Bottom line? Do you believe these numbers? Many don't, because they make no sense. The Democrats are so unpopular, they almost lost control of the House. Still don't control the Senate. Plus - since 2008, have gone from a majority of Governors, to a minority. And Slo Joe got over 80 M votes? NFW.

If you feel like we have gotten conned in last month's election, you should feel that way. Even honest Democrats (all be it few and far between), should admit these numbers are very, very odd. 

As for the citizens and patriots, we are left here scratching our heads. Something is rotten in Denmark - or should I say Detroit. Some day the real truth will come out with what really happened last month. When that day comes, things might get very ugly, very fast.  

Where is a good Kraken when you need one?

"Can we PLEASE release the Kraken now? If not now, when? We have a village idiot with a corrupt family about to sworn in as President. We have a Vice President who has earned the term "vice". Kraken - we need you. NOW!"

Well, the Turtle threw in the towel today. Actually referred to Slo Joe as "President Elect". Congratulated him on his victory, and his countless (and I mean countless) years of warming a chair in Congress. Then he congratulated Harris on being the first communist, I mean woman, Vice President. Gag me with a spoon. After all, both of these imposters are former colleagues of McConnell. Is the Turtle part of the swamp? Good question.

I will tell you what this reminds me of. We have all seen "who done it" mysteries where some nefarious bad guy committed a murder, or pulled a heist - yet there was no smoking gun to convict the bad guy with. Whenever the good guy confronts the bad guy and tells him (or her), he knows that person is dirty, the bad guy smirks and says, "prove it".

This all makes for good drama, as the bad guy tries to commit the "perfect crime". Ladies and gentlemen, the Democrats might have just pulled the "perfect crime". None of what has happened passes the "sniff test", and yet, the smoking gun(s) have proven to be very elusive. And what we have now is 70 to 80 million citizens and patriots sitting on the sidelines wondering what just happened. More importantly, wondering where is a good Kraken when you need one.

Since I have been accused as of late of "preaching to the choir", rather than reaching out to the other side, here we go. Hey Democrats - does this election pass the smell test with you? How about if the shoe was on the other foot? You would be screaming at the Moon louder than you did when Donald Trump beat St. Hillary. Don't think so? Change my mind.

Clouds on the horizon

Shhh. Don't tell anyone. But in just over a month, barring a miracle (or if the missing Kraken is found), the most improbable person in the country, will be sworn in as our 46th President. Slo Joe Biden will waltz into the White House with his "doctor" wife, and crackhead son. But man oh man, are there ever clouds on the horizon for the upcoming Biden Administration. Unlike the Russian Hoax the Democrats tried to pin on Donald Trump, with Biden, there is plenty of "there-there".

Biden will try and appoint a "Wingman" AG like Obama had in Eric Holder. But that probably won't work, as Biden does not have nearly enough Obama "magic". No, the clouds on the horizon will come from Biden's crackhead son, as well as the very tainted election which allowed Biden to cheat his way into the White House. 

I have said this before. Under Donald Trump, the Democrats set the bar very low in how we treat a President. Yesterday, Biden chided Donald Trump for not accepting "the will of the people" with the election. Biden wants all who did not vote for him to join hands with his supporters and sing Kumbaya and Auld Lang Syne. Come on man! Can't we all just get along? NFW Slo Joe, NFW. And we will treat you just as well as your side treated Donald Trump.

If I were Hunter Biden, I would leave the country and head for China sooner, rather than later. The patriots and citizens will demand of their representatives, that Hunter Biden is made public enemy number one. He colluded with the enemy. He sold us out. And it appears there is more than one smoking gun which point that way. If Hunter Biden does stick around, our side will politically vivisect him.

Enjoy your fiat victory Slo Joe. Your worst days are just over the horizon. In fact, the clouds are starting to gather. Your fiat victory will be bitter sweet Joe - heavy on the bitter and light on the sweet. Why? Cheaters never prosper.  

Georgia on my mind

"We need to focus on 2022 right now. 2020 is set in stone. We got cheated, and not much we can do about it. What we can do is get smarter how to play their game prior to 2022."

It has been quite a while since the fate of the nation has resided in one state. Quiz time - when is the last time that happened? Bingo! It was Minnesota in 2008! The now infamous (and widely believed to be fraudulent) senate race, where Al (grabby) Franken beat Norm Coleman, and became the "60th" vote which ushered in ObamaCare. Those few hundred votes which gave Franken the victory, changed healthcare in this country - forever. And I don't mean changed it the right way. 

Now it is Georgia's turn. The run off election for the two Senate seats in Georgia will take place the first week in January. If we lose those two seats, the Senate will be tied 50-50. However, with Harris being the VP, she will be the tie breaker, thereby giving Chucky Schumer the Leader position. Then it will be "Katy bar the door", for the socialist wave of very harmful legislation. Without Trump in the White House, and McConnell holding the line in the Senate, we are cooked.

However, if we do hold on to Georgia, we are not out of the woods. Remember Mitt Romney? Susan Collins? Lisa Murkowski? These three are not Democrats, but are damn close to being such. Even if we hold Georgia, look for the Democrats to work these three RINOs over on each and every vote. In other words, with or without Georgia, things are going to get butt ugly with Biden as President.

Will dirty money be involved in the Georgia elections? Count on it. How about Chinese money? I don't know - let's ask Hunter Biden or Swalwell. When it comes to China, they both seem to the most experienced. Lots of money will be spent in Georgia. Lots of politicians visiting, most every day. And all of this, because of a stolen Presidential election. What a mess.

Am I optimistic about Georgia? Not much. The cancer which has infected Georgia in the November election is still there. Will the Republicans get more votes than the Democrats and still lose the election (again)? Sure. What we have learned in November is simply this. Votes don't matter, as much as machines, and unsupervised counting matter. 

We need to focus on 2022 right now. 2020 is set in stone. We got cheated, and not much we can do about it. What we can do is get smarter how to play their game prior to 2022. If we don't, 2022 will just be a repeat of 2020. Remember the new motto of the left - "You can win if you cheat."

Deeper than deep...

"So, the question remains simply this - how deep is deep? How deep is the Deep State? For citizens and patriots, not deep enough. What we have learned from Donald Trump, is the Deep State can be contained and controlled."

I have had many revelations this year. Many of course, due to this pandemic (that everyone, including me) is sick to death of talking about. No, my biggest revelation by far this year, was finding out just how deep the Deep State is. Deeper than the Mariana Trench, that is how deep. 

What I am about to say, comes as no surprise to most of us. The push by the Deep State to get rid of President Trump started early in his first term. How early? The Washington Post (WaPo) published an article about impeachment 19 minutes after Donald Trump was sworn in. Nineteen minutes! But here is one even better. The Deep State tried to derail Donald Trump when he was still candidate Trump. And it has been non-stop from then until now.

Has anyone ever fully understood why this man, this businessman from NYC, went from being loved by the press, to so vilified? Why the left, who had neither a like nor dislike of this man, now hates Donald Trump worse than Satan? Why the Deep State has tried every trick in the book, including some they had to invent these past four years, just to truncate the term of POTUS # 45? Were they all still that bitter over Hillary?

The conclusion I have come to, this vile hatred of Donald Trump, had less to do with him, and more to with what Donald Trump represents. And what Donald Trump represents is what the left hates the most about America. Rugged individualism. National pride. Law and order. Belief in the Holy Bible. Belief in our Constitution. Protection of the First and Second Amendments. A fair press. Paychecks instead of welfare checks. Equal opportunities instead of equal outcomes.

Sound radical? Read our history. These traits are the traits of our Founders. But the left does not care about that. What they should care about is this - these traits are also the traits which most of Donald Trump's supporters have. And we are legions. 

So, the question remains simply this - how deep is deep? How deep is the Deep State? For citizens and patriots, not deep enough. What we have learned from Donald Trump, is the Deep State can be contained and controlled. Maybe even eliminated. For that lesson, we will forever be grateful to President Trump. 

And as for "Fiat Joe", should he slip into the White House, we will show him something much, much worse than the Deep State could do to Donald Trump. And that would be the truth. This nation was founded on the truth, and will be saved by the truth. The truth will cleanse all the crap the left, the Deep State, has tried to sully on this nation with.  

Our new "Woke"

"Actually, our new 'Woke' started in the 1980's when Ronald Reagan was our President. He set the table for a guy like Donald Trump. And the best part? This table has now been set by Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump for the next super patriot to lead us." 

Last night, with the Supreme Court refusing to hear the Presidents petition, might have been a dagger to the heart for liberty. And what does all of this mean? It means we all know there was crap going on in the background which tainted this election. However, the "smoking gun" became illusive, and  the clock ran out. Next week when the electors are seated in the electoral college, it will be lights out for a second (consecutive) term for Donald J. Trump.

Meanwhile, I am sure the betting types are setting up a "dead pool" on Biden. Not so much if he lives or dies, but rather how long it will be before he is "Amendment 25'd" out of the White House. It might be sooner than one might think. Yesterday, he was talking about how important this run off election was in...in... - oh crap! He forget the name of the state! Like I say, sooner than one might think.

Fair minded historians will give Donald Trump high grades on his four years. What was his signature accomplishment? The "Right to Try" law? Establishment of the Space Force? The record setting economy? The Middle East peace accords? Our new and much fairer trade agreements? Our re-built and robust military? Moving our embassy in Israel? Or, Operation "Warp Speed"? 

There are others as well. But at the top of all of these, I have one more. Donald Trump has awoken the conservative base. He has filled us with an unquenchable fire. He has reminded us we don't need to be "Democrat Light" or a RINO to survive and matter in Washington. Actually, I will steal a term from the left. Donald Trump has made over half the country "Woke". So much so, we will never again settle for establishment Republicans leading us. Donald Trump has sharpened our vision. Awoken us.

Actually, our new "Woke" started in the 1980's when Ronald Reagan was our President. He set the table for a guy like Donald Trump. And the best part? This table has now been set even fuller and nicer, by both Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump. Set for the next super patriot to rise up and lead us. 

But as for now, it will be with a heavy heart that I will watch Donald Trump exit the White House next month. Only to be replaced by a corrupt imposter. As a friend of mine told me - we survived 8 years of Obama, we should be able to survive 4 years of Biden/Harris. My reply - but at what cost? The slippery slope Trump protected us from these last four years is still there. Only now it is slipperier. Much, much slipperier.  

 

Squeezing the lemon...

"Today on the news, it was reported a poll was recently conducted on only Biden voters. They were asked if they knew before the election about the (alleged) corruption in the Biden family, 17% said they would not have voted for him."

There is an old saying - Winners are able to make lemonade out of lemons. (My saying now) - losers remain being lemons. Ladies and gentlemen, for those who might not know this by now, the fiat person who might end up being POTUS # 46, is a lemon. Not just a lemon, a lemon who has been spoiled and corrupted. And his entire family are lemons - especially son Hunter. There is no making any lemonade out of this bunch - not one drop.

Joe Biden has always been a loser. Always. Now we are finding our just how corrupt he and his family have been. Joe, Hunter and the uncles are not the only lemons in the DNC basket - how about that fraud "Farticus"? As was trying to make the Russia Hoax look believable (which never happened), he was hiding a deep, dark secret. Eric Swalwell, the least likable person in Congress, is not only a lemon, but also a hypocrite. And in this basket of lemons, you can toss in the 80 year old Pelosi, and the 90 year old DiFi also. 

This is not going to sound good, and some of my RINO buddies will not like this at all. This country will not do well with a fiat, lemon like Biden. We barely made it though Obama, whom (we think), was not fiat. The 75,000,000 to 80,000,000 who voted to re-elect the President, will not do well with a phony, and a lemon in the White House. 

Right now, all eyes are on the Supreme Court. With over 100 in Congress who are supporting Texas (in their lawsuit), and over 1/3 of the states now joining the lawsuit, as the old saying goes - "This ain't nothing." For the countries sake, and believe it or not, for Biden's sake, the Supremes need to toss out the electoral votes from Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. They need to be nullified. But why Biden? With what we know right now, his life in the White House will be a living hell. Or worse.

Today on the news, it was reported a poll was recently conducted with only Biden voters. When asked if they knew before the election about the (alleged) corruption in the Biden family, 17% said they would NOT have voted for Biden. That would be about 10,000,000 fewer votes for Biden. In other words, even with all the cheating going on, Trump would have even won - even in a DNC fixed election. 

Bottom line? Here is our answer to those who ask why we just can't move on. Why we can't accept Biden as our President. Here is our nearly collective and unified answer - HELL NO! Stronger message to follow. Not only is Biden a lemon, he is crooked. He is a disgrace to the country. He and his family are putrid with corruption. Right now, the Supreme Court is the only thing standing between a fair outcome to this election, or succession. Or - maybe even a civil war.

We are living in history right now. Good, bad or ugly - it is history. It will be the most corrupt election since 1824 - the now famous "Corrupt Bargain". Pay close attention, so we can tell our kids and grand kids the true story of what has happened. Not revisionist history. Yes, it is that important. 

Disenfranchised much?

We are having our kitchen updated. Four years ago we had to update our appliances. There was a new brand on the market. Although this brand had done quite well in other sectors of the economy, it never tried the kitchen business before. Lots of promises of great performance and lowered cost - we were sold. We took a chance, and signed the agreement on a four year lease. Turns out to be one of the best decisions we ever made. 

Four years has passed, and we are now updating the entire kitchen. Our lease is up, and it is time for new appliances. We went to the same store, and they had the same brand we have been so happy with. The current version had even better costs and performance. Without hesitation, we bought a new kitchen suite.

Then when they were to be delivered, the company told us part of the appliance suite was sold to someone else. But they said, not to worry. For the same price (maybe a tad more), they would substitute some appliances we did not vote for (order). They were corrupted, much less efficient, more expensive to use, and ugly. When we complained, the company told us just to live with it. There was nothing we could do about it. We did everything right, and the company hosed us. We felt disenfranchised.

Welcome to 2020. The above story is not about our kitchen remodel (although, part of it is true). It is about 80,000,000 patriots having the rug pulled out from under them in the election. They did everything right, the other side cheated, and now our wonderful President, who played by the rules, who led the charge to make America great again, might be shown the door. And the semi-senile imposter, who did not win the election, might be living in the White House at the end of next month.

What we have seen unfold right before our eyes is a travesty of justice. A massive fraud. In my opinion, treason. Some idiot penned an op/ed letter to the Strib last week, saying he could not understand why so many Trump supporters cannot accept Biden as the winner. Short answer? Because he did not win. His side cheated. That is why we feel disenfranchised. That is why we will never accept Biden as legit.

 

Wither our Space Force?

"Tell us what you know government. Now. I can handle it. We can handle it. No more secrets. This shell game has been going on since Roswell. Time to shine the light of truth on this most obscure secret."

Okay. First it was the former Defense Minister from Canada who could not keep his yap shut. Now it is some retired space security honcho from Israel. And if you believe the movie Acknowledged, there are literally hundreds of former DOD civilians and military folks who are now living outside the NDAs they have signed. Subject? Aliens. How some beings from outside our atmosphere have been visiting with us for years. From something called the Galactic Federation. Who else knows? Supposedly, President Trump.

Come on Bird! We have an Earth shaking SCOTUS decision today about the election, the pandemic is raging, and China is still trying to eat our lunch. And you are writing about little green men? What gives?

Why am I going down this rabbit hole, when there are so many terrestrial things I can address this morning. Because it this is true, if there is a shred of evidence which is valid and viable on this subject, it will make everything else we are dealing with look shallow. In fact (as the story goes), President Trump, once "read in", wanted to go public with disclosure. He was talked out of it by representatives of the Galactic Federation as (to quite the movie), we can't (yet) handle the truth.

How deep can this rabbit hole go? The Israeli source said we have an underground base on Mars, which is currently staffed by representatives of our Armed Forces, as well as representatives of the Galactic Federation. Is this the reason we now have a Space Force? If you do any research on a black program called Solar Warden, we have had unacknowledged forces in space for years now.

How much of this is true? How much is urban legend? How much is pure BS? Is it true that our government knows more about this, and will not tell us? Here is my position. I will start from believing this is all BS. Now government - tell us EVERYTHING. That will either confirm the BS position, or - it will be the greatest disclosure in modern times. 

We know from scientists that out of the billions of galaxies, they all have billions to trillions of planets. Some are "Earth like". Some might have life. Some might have intelligent life. Some might be millions of years more advanced than us. Or, we might be totally alone in the cosmos. 

What is my point? Tell us what you know government. Now. I can handle it. We can handle it. No more secrets. This shell game has been going on since Roswell. Time to shine the light of truth on this most obscure secret.    

Tucker's Truth Telling

If it smells like there is something rotten, there is. It is called the Deep State. We are being owned and manipulated by China, and most of us don't even realize it. And here I thought the Matrix was only a movie.

For those who saw Tucker Carlson last night saw a whopper. Seems some Chinese professor over in the Land of the Dragon, was spilling his guts to his students on how China has been manipulating us for years. That is, until this Trump guy came along. He has been a spoiler for sure. But no worries - China helped make sure they have another puppet in the White House, come next month. The professor even addressed Biden's son - Hunter. It was all part of the plan.

It seems every week, there is something new which pops up. Folks - we have been had. Many are now thinking, based on the election servers we obtained before they became corrupted, Trump won this election, and won it big. Like 410 electoral votes big. Instead, we are getting a fiat government sworn in. None of this is real. Not Biden, not Harris, not any of the lunatics they want in their cabinet.

If this train cannot be taken off the tracks prior to January 20th, and Biden is sworn in, this will not be over. If all this fraud is finally exposed after January 20th, then what? The fraud would show neither Biden nor Harris are legit, and the person who won in a landslide is retired down in Florida. Please don't tell me that Pelosi will take over. It will be a mess of the highest magnitude.

Of a much larger concern is this. How in the world can we have an election, which yielded one of the biggest landslides since 1984, and then have the system so rotten, so manipulated, it can show an opposite result? How is this going to effect the Georgia run off election? Will those two senate seats be stolen also? 

There is so much "stuff" laying under the surface right now, it is hard for most of us to believe. It really is. Biden is going to try and tuck us under China's nefarious plans at the soonest possible moment. That is the plan. Biden the puppet, will try to erase Donald Trump from our history. Obama 3.0 is long overdue. The Chinese have been patient, but now they want some return on their investment.

Also, listen to what Representative Louie Gohmert had to say about the seized servers in Germany. As a former judge and prosecutor, I doubt if Gohmert would be lying about something so important to our country.

Sucker punched - again

"Back to the present. It is 2020, and we have been sucker punched once again. Not by Japanese Zeros attacking our ships, not by Muslim terrorists flying jetliners into buildings - this time we are being attacked by an invisible virus."

Today is Pearl Harbor Day. The day which will "live in infamy". Next year will be the 80th anniversary of this surprise attack on our fleet, docked at Pearl Harbor. It is also our first "sucker punch". History has shown we probably should have seen it coming. But we did not, and it catapulted our "isolationist" country into the throws of World War II. Japan had awoken the "sleeping giant", and the United States not only helped defeat the Axis Powers, but it was the start of this nation becoming a super power.

Well, that will never happen again! Nobody will ever "sucker punch" us again! That is until the warning shot came in 1993. That is when radial Muslims tried to blow up the World Trade Center. Only by luck, the attack failed. That should have been a red flag for us. The radical Muslims could try that again. But we got wrapped up in other things, including the 2000 election, which really turned out to be a cluster. The 1993 World Trade Center attack? That was so very yesterday. Then September 11, 2001 came. Sucker punched again.

Now I will digress for a minute. On one of my active duty experiences, I was stationed at a cryptology station in northern Maine. Upon arrival, I met with the CO to get my assignment. He gave me the most unusual, yet interesting assignments I had in my Naval career. The CO wanted me to "think outside the box", think like a Russian terrorist, and come up with three different ways I could sabotage the station, and take it off line.

In the armed forces, we are taught to think like "good guys". For two weeks, I had to think like a "bad guy". I turned my report in before I left, and the CO loved it. Of the three scenarios, one of them he never thought of. And he agreed that scenario was plausible and could take the station off line for a long period of time. 

Back to the present. It is 2020, and we have been sucker punched once again. Not by Japanese Zeros attacking our ships, not by Muslim terrorists flying jetliners into buildings - this time we are being attacked by an invisible virus. It caught us totally unprepared. It shouldn't have - as we have had uninvited virus' come here before. Many of which came from China. 

We need people in our government to think outside the box more. Come up with plausible scenarios which can screw up our lives. Kill people. Stunt our economy. We need to predict and prevent the next sucker punch. Whatever it is, from visible to invisible, we need to take a "do better" in preventing the next sucker punch. We owe that to ourselves, our kids, and our grandchildren. 

In to the future, I go gently...

"By the middle to end of the year, 2021 could be a bright, shining light after coming out of the darkness of 2020. That is what most of us are hoping and praying for."

Today is the Bird's birthday. The only reason I mention that fact, is to illustrate a point. A point I dare say many of us have come to realize this past year. A year ago today, I turned 70. We had a fun family day at Jax Restaurant in NE Mpls. To make it a special day for the littles as well, it was Jax annual Breakfast with Santa event. No pandemic, very little politics - just family fun.

After the brunch was over, and my wife and I came home, I thought about the future. I thought about how much fun it was going to be experiencing all the excitement of 2020. In my mind, turning 70 and heading into 2020 was going to be a double header of fun. And it was - until March rolled around, and we were vacationing in Florida. The rest is all history, which does not need to be relived in this article.

Now, it is a year later, and I look forward to 2021 with a different perspective. First off, my feet hit the floor when I got up this morning. I am still here. For that, I am grateful to our Heavenly Father. But as clear as I thought the future looked at this time last year, is as cloudy as it looks to me this year. The best word I can use to how I feel looking forward into 2021 is, unsettled.

But life must go on. Our country must go on. Even though life is uncertain and tough right now, one thing is for certain. God is in control. There is a plan that God knows of. We might not, but He does. We just need to trust in Him, and listen for His soft, gentle voice. 

That being said, we need to prepare ourselves for the next three months. Every thing I have read from many different medical experts, say the same thing. This is going to be a rough ride. The head of the CDC said this could be the darkest period in our nation's medical history. Okay - but we still need to go on. We still need our country to go on. 

And that is where I come to where I am at today, on my birthday. Unlike last year, when I could not wait to dive into the new year, this year I am prepared to go gently into the new year. By the middle to end of the year, 2021 could be a bright, shining light after coming out of the darkness of 2020. That is what most of us are hoping and praying for. But we also need to prepare ourselves, that 2021 could offer some more unwelcomed surprises.

One thing I do know is this. No matter what the new year brings, be it good, bad, or ugly - we will be better prepared if we face it together, and not so divided. The Holy Bible tells us, "A house divided against itself cannot stand".  Words to ponder, as we go gently into the new year. 

  

Mayhem for the masses

"December will usher in the perfect storm, which will have nothing to do with the weather. Christians will still celebrate the birth of our Savior, even if it is very non-traditional this year. Some how, some way, most of us will get through this, and come out on the other side."

Guess what is coming? And coming soon. Christmas? That is part of it. What we have coming is a perfect storm. Not the weather kind of storm - rather this will be the perfect confluence of three major items - and they will all hit in December of this year.

The "surge within a surge" is already starting. That is thing # one. The number of fatalities and hospital admissions due to Covid is nothing less than staggering. For many, the party came on Thanksgiving weekend. Now comes the hangover. For some, Thanksgiving was a just a nice time to be with friends and family. They were fortunate. For others, it became an unwanted "spreader" event. The medical experts, should we choose to listen to and/or believe them, tell us the worst is yet to come. If we gather at Christmas like we did at Thanksgiving, January could be a cold, dark, nightmare.

Thing # two is Christmas. The medical experts are already warning us about having too many people gathered, and in particular, people from outside your household. My guess is, just like with Thanksgiving, some will gather as they do every year - and hopefully, it will end up being a "nothing burger". For others however, some will get sick once Christmas is over. The older folks could get very sick. Some loved ones could die. It is a measured risk all families will need to evaluate. 

Thing # three is the first tranche of vaccinations. They are here, and the roll out is right around the corner. The trials to date have been very promising. Minor side effects are usually a headache and chills. But without the longer duration trials that the FDA sanctions, questions of length of efficacy, and potential long term side effects remain.

What does this mean? Just like gathering around the Thanksgiving or Christmas table with friends and family, getting vaccinated is a measured risk. That being said, enough folks have had it with lockdowns and isolation, so that who is first, second or third in line to get the shot, might end up looking like a WWE cage match.

One final thought which goes back to thing # 1. Our local hospital, the one both of our kids were born in, has grown to be a very large health center. At the start of the pandemic, and up until recently, it has been in great shape with available beds and staff. No longer. It is stretched "to the gills", and is in "red flag" territory. The hospital my youngest daughter works at (downtown), which is a huge facility, has recently gone from a handful of beds remaining, to zero beds. And at most hospitals, people are dying in the ICUs from this horrible lung disease, with alarming regularity.

Some how, some way, most of us will get through this, and come out on the other side. My hope, my prayer, is the coming vaccines are the panacea we all believe the will be.
