Taxing the poor

"Welcome to Biden's America. Instead of the land of milk and honey, we will now be the land of long lines and high costs."

What is the biggest lie in Washington which has been repeated every time we have a Democrat Administration? "Our plan is to only tax the rich. Not the middle class, and certainly not the poor." Right. These are the words spoken by those who never worked in the private sector. Those who never had to satisfy investors with a P+L sheet which is printed in black instead of red. Of all the clowns the Democrats have had running the joint from time to time, Joe Biden is perhaps the biggest clown. And the biggest liar. He is about to ruin the country with one giant, bloated, bill, oozing with greenie and social engineering BS. Better known as the "infrastructure" bill.

Some of the specifics of the bill are now being leaked to both houses of Congress. Why? To "soften them up" before they get the real deal. Get some Republican support this time around. But they won't. Why? This bill is not an "infrastructure" bill at all - it is in reality, the Great Reset. The "game changer" we have heard so much about. This is the bill which will change the country. It will change our economy. It will kill the Golden Goose, which has allowed this country to be the economic powerhouse it always has been. All because Slo Joe wants to look in the mirror, and see FDR looking back at him.

Have no doubt - this bill will punish everyone. It will strip the upper class of much of their wealth. It will strip the middle class of much of their purchasing power. It will make a bad situation even worse for the poor. How so? How about paying between 3 and 4 dollars a gallon for gasoline, when we have recently been paying just over 2 dollars? How about having our heating bills in the winter time go through the roof by forcing us to use the false god of renewable energy? How about our electric bills going up by double digits in the summer, because Slo Joe pulled the plug on coal? The poor are going to take it in the shorts folks. Have no doubt about that one.

This Great Reset bill, will do just the opposite of what Reagan's "a rising tide lifts all boats" philosophy did. Reagan wanted his economics to elevate folks from the lower class to the middle class. Folks in the middle class, to the upper class. Slo Joe's bill will do just the opposite. Everyone will sink down a level or two. Why? Equity. If we are all equally poor, and 100% reliant on the government, it will be game over. Case closed. The United States will have then become Venezuela.

How did we sink so low so quickly? How did we go from MAGA, to Biden's soup line in almost a nanosecond? When we start to over tax the corporations, much of that excess taxation will passed on to you and me as costs. Fact. Once again, even the poor will be the hardest hit, we will all suffer. All become more poor.

Rather than looking out on a bright, shining future, everything over the horizon will suddenly look darker. Darker because of a self inflicted wound, dressed up as this Great Reset bill. It is as if everyone who voted for Slo Joe had taken leave of their senses on that Tuesday in November. They committed mass economic suicide.

Welcome to Biden's America. Instead of the land of milk and honey, we will now be the land of long lines and high costs.

"Beyond a shadow of a doubt..."

"This is the OJ trail of our day. Neither Chauvin nor Floyd were celebrities like OJ, but the complexity of this trail is of high interest, just like the OJ trial was."

I never went to law school. Thought about it for a short (heavy on the word short) period of time, but after getting out of four years in the Navy, I was satisfied with my BS (no jokes, please) degree. So I entered the workforce, and ended up working with lawyers, doing contract negotiations. That being said, I find courtroom proceedings to be fascinating. The Chauvin trial is no exception.

This trial is somewhat unique. It is a murder trial, in which the death of the victim was videotaped. Videotaped and watched by just about everyone, many times over. So what is the big deal? This should be a slam dunk. Guilty. Trial should take a day or so. But hold on. There is a fly in the ointment.

The fly is this. In a criminal trail, especially a murder trial, guilt has to be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. I think, as well as many legal experts who are watching this, everything will hinge on the cause of death. And this is the bug-a-boo. Did George Floyd die from the "neck kneel" administered by Dereck Chauvin for nine minutes? Was that directly or indirectly responsible? Or was it the cocktail of drugs in Floyd's system? Or was it his heart condition? Or was it a combination of all of the above? That is the tall mountain for the jury to figure out in this trial.

Here is one thing which bothers me about this trial. Right after George Floyd died, the county ME did an autopsy. The results of that autopsy showed the kneeling on the neck did not cause death. The prosecutors did not like that result. So they went out and obtained the services of another agency to perform a subsequent autopsy. Which one is correct?

The other thing is what I call the first responder reflex. Most all cops are trained to be first responders. They know a medical emergency when they see one. Even if Chauvin did not directly cause George Floyd to die, he should be held accountable for not calling EMTs as soon as he saw Floyd foaming at the mouth long before he put him on the ground. If the four cops had treated this stop as a medical emergency as well as law enforcement stop, maybe Floyd would still be alive today.

This is the OJ trail of our day. Neither Chauvin nor Floyd were celebrities like OJ, but the complexity of this trail is of high interest, just like the OJ trial was. For Chauvin, was he guilty of some degree of murder, of manslaughter, or negligence? The results of that question will have a huge impact to not only Chauvin, but also the community which lives in Minneapolis.

"Revolution for the hell of it"

"This week, Minneapolis will be ground zero of the legal news cycle. All eyes will be on the downtown court house."

Okay - tip of the hat to Abbie Hoffman for (hopefully) letting me use the title of his book from the 1960's. It is a good title for (maybe) what is about to go down. How so? Today starts the Derick Chauvin trial. It will get national attention. However, there is much trepidation about the outcome. Like - will there be a repeat of last summer's riots if Chauvin walks? Or, will there be a repeat of last summer's riots if Chauvin is convicted of something less than murder? Or, will there we riots just for the hell of it, whatever the outcome is. Or will there be peace?

A lightly reported story this morning was what happened last night in Oregon. Just like in January, when a mob tried to take over the national capitol, a mob of folks (described as Antifa), tried to take over Oregon's capitol. This story, as serious as it was, was largely ignored by the MSM. It was a yawner for them. However - if it had been the Proud Boys instead, it would have been in the news cycle, 24 X 7.

What does that story have to do with the Chauvin trial? Plenty. This week, Minneapolis will be ground zero of the legal news cycle. All eyes will be on the downtown court house. Are there bad apples in town from parts unknown, that are just waiting to lite the match? I would say the tinderbox in Minneapolis is much more flammable than the one in Oregon. In other words, what happened in Oregon last night, might just be a harbinger of things to come when the trial is over, and the verdict is adjudicated.

I think the most sage advice I have heard as of late, was someone of public importance saying to stay out of downtown during this trial. It should be considered to be a danger zone. Hopefully, the trial will be over, and there will be no violence nor damage. The normal citizens who live in Minneapolis deserve such an outcome. But if I were a betting man, I would not be betting much at all on that outcome. History could easily repeat.

It is ironic to me that this trial will be starting during the holiest of seasons for both Christians and Jews. Will that matter to anyone who has a desire to riot and destroy? I don't know. I am however, reminded about a poem I wrote when I was overseas, as our country was being torn apart in the 1960's:

Here I stand, a man among men,

I know no evil, I practice no sin.

But I burn, destroy, kill, and maim

It's funny, I don't even know my name.

I sully the land where peace had trod,

Some call me man, but I call me a god.

Where in the world will it come from???

"When you kiss your kids or grandies on the head tonight, besides saying goodnight, tell them you are sorry. We could have stopped this, but we kept electing boobs who would not."

Headlines in the online version of the Strib this afternoon. "Minnesota could get billions from the infrastructure bill". Cool! Everyone likes money, especially free money. I mean, after all, most libs think that money coming out of Washington is free. And this infrastructure bill is going to be a whopper! Experts think somewhere between 3 and 5 trillion dollars. Throw that on top of the 2 trillion in Covid stimulus. Then throw all that on top of the almost 30 trillion national debt.

What does this all mean? Have we found the hidden treasure which has been buried outside Washington for centuries? Do we have a rich uncle who died? A money tree? We have none of the above. What we do have however, is a senile old man who is running (ruining) the joint. One who even when he was sharp(er), had never worked for a living. One who does not know a dit from a DUH when it comes to money. In his foggy world, he thinks that raising taxes on the wealthy will pay the bill. Oh, how wrong he is.

Besides having a President who does not understand finances, we are raising an almost entire generation of youngins who believe him when he says all we need do is play Robin Hood, and everything will be fixed. Tax the rich, and give it to the poor. Establish equity, where everyone, regardless of effort, skill, or hard work - gets the same. Throw out that old misguided notion that capitalism builds better mousetraps. The youngins think our mousetraps are just fine, thank you. So instead of being innovators, our nation will now become a group of mind numbed robots, obsessed with sameness.

What is the problem? John Miltimore has written, "The problem is, the human mind has trouble understanding a figure so huge." So we blow it off. Ignore it. Kick the can down the street. Spend more free money. Who cares if our debt might eclipse our GDP by 2030? Who cares that besides the national debt, we have unfunded liabilities of 125 trillion dollars? If our country was a business, only a madman would invest in us. We have turned out to be a very bad investment.

And what does Slo Joe think about all of this? Not much - he does not understand it. Way, way above his pay grade. Are we cutting or eliminating any programs to help pay for this new spending? Fat chance. The only thing this side of Heaven which is eternal, are government programs. They never die.

When you kiss your kids or grandies on the head tonight, besides saying goodnight, tell them you are sorry. We could have stopped this, but we kept electing boobs who would not. Why? Because the only thing stupider than a stupid politician are the stupid people who keep voting them into office.

Transparent, opaque, or lead shielding?

"For those who voted for Biden, you need to be pitied. Voting for Biden was like trading in a perfectly good car, and then buying an oil burner with bald tires, and 300,000 miles on it. All because you did not like the orange color on the good car you traded in."

Most have probably heard this by now. Recently, we had eighteen Republican Senators venture down to the border to see what was really happening. After all, we just heard from our fearless leader that everything was hunky dory down there, and if there was a problem, it was the fault of the "Orange Man". But (and this is a big but) - we could not verify that fact on the news, as there is a "news blackout" in the detention camps. And why pray tell, is that? You know - that old Covid - 19 excuse.

Liar, liar, pants on fire. That is the only thing I have to say to Slo Joe and his up talking redhead assistant. The reason there is a news blackout on the detention camps, is because (I will use Lindsey Graham's words) - it is now Biden's "shit show". One Senator said, "this is no longer a crisis - it is a disaster". Another Senator said, "This is not only a crisis for those kids who are stuck in these facilities, it is a crisis for our national security." In other words, what is happening on the southern border is not transparent, not even opaque. It is covered with lead shielding.

For a guy who wants to be our "Covid President", Biden does not seem to give a rat's ass about creating the biggest supper spreader event in the country so far this year. It makes what is going on in Miami Beach look like child's play. We have up to 4,000 kids stuck in cages (I mean tents), which are only set up to house 250. We have a positivity rate of 10% on these kids, and yet, many are being released into the general public. How does that work for contact tracing?

I think once again, since it is the Lenten Season, we need to address the destructive power of hate. The hatred for all things Trump, is so deep, so vile within Biden and his inner circle, they are willing to sacrifice part of our national security to undo the good that Trump had done. The real victims here are not the kids in the camps - it is the American citizenry. For without our permission, Slo Joe and his ideologue idiots, have laid bare our southern border. Laid it bare for human and drug trafficking, terrorists, and everything else bad which could come out of Biden's Pandora's Box of revenge on the Orange Man.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the new socialist Democrat party. How do you like it so far? For those of you who became fed up with Donald Trump's mannerisms (not his results), how do you like living in this gulag instead?

For those who voted for Biden, you need to be pitied. Voting for Biden was like trading in a perfectly good car, and then buying an oil burner with bald tires, and 300,000 miles on it. All because you did not like the orange color on the good car you traded in. That kind of logic leaves me just SMH, over, and over, and over again.

Without fear nor favor

"Losing a President, and replacing him with a fool, is like losing the pilot on a super tanker, while trying to navigate a narrow canal. And we know how that works out."

Miss him yet? I think most of us missed him the day after the election results were in. Even though this election stunk to high heaven, there was that sickening feeling in our guts that it was a fait accompli. Slo Joe, with the help of the deep state and the Washington establishment, was going to be our next President. A deeply flawed man, with suspicious credentials, and a failing memory. A man who is owned by every special interest in Washington, as well as China. And backing him up, is a Vice President who is just as bad - maybe worse.

Our 45th President, Donald J. Trump, was truly a man who served without fear nor favor. He was wealthy, an outsider, a businessman, and was owned or owed by nobody, nor no organization. He was the polar opposite of the man who we have right now running (ruining) our country.

Some called Trump pugnacious. Some bellicose. Some say he was a disrupter. Others say a bull in a China shop. My favorite term for him was disrupter, with a dash of change agent thrown in for good measure. Donald Trump hated what Washington had become. A city NOT what the Founders had envisioned. So when Trump went to live in the White House, it became a David (Donald) vs. Goliath struggle. And against all odds, David (Donald) was winning the battle(s). He was succeeding, where many have failed before him. And he was fearless in doing so.

Today, the free world has a leader who is bathed in fear. A leader who is owned. A leader who is a shadow of what he was ten years ago - and ten years ago, he was nothing to write home about. The presser Biden had this week was more illustrative than ten novels of substance about his character and abilities. As much as the lap dog media would like to prop him (Biden) up, there might not be enough left of him to prop up. It is a sad tale indeed - this is the best the Democrats could come up with.

Anyone right now who cannot see the differences between a leader like Donald Trump, and a helpless old coward like Joe Biden, is either blind, or a hyper-partisan. Once he became President, the first thing Biden did was to shut off part of our energy pipeline. Then came the big freeze which about put Texas back in the stone ages. Now we have a mammoth ship wedged in the Suez Canal, which is blocking oil shipments from the Middle East. Biden's solution to these problems? Put a "cap on the day", have a glass of warm milk, and then go nighty-night.

I know that Donald Trump was no Mr. Rogers like Jimmy Carter was. But Trump was a doer and a solver. Most of all, he was a leader. Through a maelstrom of hate, and a continual vile gauntlet of Democrat obstacles, Donald Trump produced. Was he out to win the "most liked" contest? No, but he was always the hardest worker with the best results. After all, is that not we want in a leader for this great nation? Just asking...

Losing a President, and replacing him with a fool, is like losing the pilot on a super tanker, while trying to navigate a narrow canal. And we know how that works out.

After listening to Biden's presser this week, I sat for a while in stunned silence. The terrible realization then started to settle into the depths of my very being. Our country right now, is in grave danger. The saddest part, is half the country does not even see it.

Worst. Presser. Ever.

"I could go on, but I am sure many watched this disgusting spectacle. This is the leader of the free world, acting like someone who just wandered away from Happy Acres Nursing Home."

Oh my. And we waited so long for this thing. How bad was it? Think of any one of Donald Trump's MANY pressers, on how the questions were asked, how rudely they were asked, and then think of just the opposite. Then think of how on top of all issues Trump was, and again, think of just the opposite. Welcome to the world of Slo Joe Biden. The world of fog and forgetfulness. The world of deceit, lies and rambling nonsense. Slo Joe Biden, in all his disarray, was on display yesterday afternoon for over an hour. God save our republic.

In all my days of watching Presidents speak and answering questions at a presser, I have NEVER seen a President use notes. Not just "cheat sheet" notes that he would glance at from time to time, he actually read word for word (at times) off his briefing papers. Meanwhile, the "press", especially he NPR woman, fawned all over Biden. In fact, with one of the questions she asked Biden, she had to lead him by the nose down the prim rose path. Meanwhile, the only true reporter present (Peter Doocy), never got called on. Shame.

What did we learn about the southern border yesterday? The most important issue in America? Nada. Nada, except a huge lie. I think if any border control people, who might have been watching yesterday, might have lost their lunch. Lost their lunch when Biden said that "Even though many are coming because I am such a nice guy, most are being sent back home." If Trump had told a whopper like that, he would have been challenged by the press for over an hour. Then Pelosi probably would have tried to impeach him for a third time.

But because Slo Joe has had some slippage of the gears, he accidently let the cat out of the bag. All that crap he said on the campaign trail about keeping the filibuster, was just that - crap. To push his agenda, and should those disruptive Republicans not toe the line, Biden (who spent almost 4 decades in the Senate), will allow his Senate Democrat robots, to blow up the Senate. In other words, get rid of the filibuster. After all, the roots of the filibuster are racist. Jim Crow racist. Really? Since when Slo Joe? Liar, liar, pants on fire.

I could go on, but I am sure many watched this disgusting spectacle. This is the leader of the free world, acting like someone who just wandered away from Happy Acres Nursing Home. Every time I see this guy, I am more convinced than ever, that cheating took place during the last election. Only boobs could vote for a boob like Biden. As an American, I have trouble believing we have 80 million boobs in this great nation. Then again, maybe we do.

Short on juice?

"In any event, the future is now. As much as I hate all the pork which will reside in this infrastructure bill, without adequate charging stations, we will be in deep kimchee by 2030."

One of the things which will be in the new infrastructure bill, will be EV (electric vehicle) charging stations. Before you throw your hands up in disgust, please read on for a bit. I have addressed this before in previous articles. First off, I do not own an electric, nor a hybrid vehicle. No plans to do so in the near future. That being said, I am also a realist. The train (EVs and hybrids) is leaving the station - soon. Not because of any hammer handed government mandates - the car manufacturers are making the switch this decade.

I have known this for a while now. It is not just one or two car companies - it is just about all of them. My concern in doing so is the nexus. The nexus to make this switch successful. And that nexus consists of four important things coming together at the same time.

Cars - This is a slam dunk. The commitment has been made, the investments are in place, and the tooling has started. By 2030, we will not have 100% EV and hybrid vehicles on the road, but they will be more common than uncommon. Go on any of the auto manufacturers web sites. They are not shy in disclosing their plans.

Batteries - Much progress has been made as of late in batteries. That being said, we are not there as yet. These monster batteries are very heavy, dirty to make, hard to make, and most of the supplies to make them are offshore. The Golden Ticket will be the company which comes up with a EV battery which will last 1,000 miles between charges, be lighter, cheaper, cleaner to make, and stout enough to handle Minnesota winters or Florida summers.

Juice (Electricity) - This could be the biggest bug-a-boo to success. Since Slo Joe has decided to kill off our coal industry, energy will become a much bigger problem in the future. And with the advent of electric cars, our demand for energy (and lots of it), will keep going up. Hint = windmills and solar farms will be of little help.

Charging Stations - In the year 2021, we see very few charging stations dotting the landscape. Very few homes have one in their garage (average cost right now is about $1,200). When your depleted car comes up to a charging station, how long will a full charge take? How much will it cost? Will there be lines? It will be interesting to see how this mammoth infrastructure bill addresses these issues (if at all).

In any event, the future is now. As much as I hate all the pork which will reside in this infrastructure bill, without adequate charging stations, we will be in deep kimchee by 2030. I have said many times that my V-8 truck might be my last internal combustion vehicle. I may want another new one in the future, but that choice may no longer be mine.

The wheels are coming off the bus

"The wheels on the bus are coming off the Biden express. He may not see it, but the rest of us do. And that hyena who is his Veep? He is putting her in charge of fixing the southern border 'situation'. I guess the bald headed Cuban gave up. BTW - does someone have a spare bus we can use?"

Normally I am a "one and done" in writing my blog articles. However, since Slo Joe has decided to be a one man wrecking ball (with the help of Nancy and her DNC robots) to this great nation, there is just way too much going on - and too little time to respond to it. Between the last mega bucks "Covid rescue plan", HR 1, the unprecedented mess on the southern border, the upcoming confiscatory tax increase legislation, the DC statehood proposal, and the "green new deal" (which is cloaked in the infrastructure bill), we have a mess of biblical proportions. And to think Slo Joe has only been the President for two months. SMH.

To be a true change agent, to initiate the kinds of Earth shaking changes that Biden promised to do, you need to have a team made up of supermen and superwomen. Not boobs and hacks, like Biden has now. In fact, Biden being the biggest boob of all, is heading up this circus.

So here is a foundational question: What happens when you break everything that works, in the hope that you can come up with a better fix? And you continue to break things, because (despite your strong Catholic faith), you have a visceral hatred for the Orange Man? The wheels start to come off the bus. You end up going nowhere - stuck with a broken bus.

Examples:

Teachers Unions - Biden is bought and paid for by national and state teacher unions. #FACT. Right now, parents all over the nation are demanding to have schools open again. Resume normal teaching again. Real school, not Zoom school. To help matters out, the CDC said the social distance needed in schools is now 3 feet - not six. Tough toenails said some of the larger teacher unions. "We ain't going back until we get what we want! Screw the kids!" So here stands Slo Joe, holding his whatyamadiggie in his hand, looking foolish, as well as bought and paid for. And our kids keep falling further behind (especially kids of color).

Voter ID - To those twenty some states who passed Voter ID in past elections, well played. That is good legislation. However, put the party hats away. HR 1, the bastard child of the House Democrats, will change voting in this nation - forever. And change it not in a good way. One of the things HR 1 does, is strike all the state's Voter ID laws. Strikes them and replaces them with fraud infested mail in voting. It will allow illegals, felons, aliens from Mars, or whomever - to vote (blue). One party rule, here we come.

The Golden Ticket - How bad is the mess on the southern border right now? Over a dozen prior high ranking Border Control managers, have written a letter to Congress PLEADING with them to stop this insanity! Of all the things that Biden has screwed the pooch on, this is by far and away the worse. Biden, and the open border crowd, want to overwhelm our immigration system, so every illegal, especially the younger ones, come here and get instant citizenship. Better known as the Golden Ticket. Never mind there is drug and human trafficking galore going on down on the southern border. And Covid? Who gives a rip if we further infect the country? This is all about POWER, man!

There is so much more, I could go on until dark. But that would violate my self imposed word limit on articles. The wheels on the bus are coming off the Biden express. He may not see it, but the rest of us do. And that hyena who is his Veep? He is putting her in charge of fixing the southern border "situation". I guess the bald headed Cuban gave up. Does someone have a spare bus we can use?

And then there was Boulder

"Meanwhile, the gun grabbers are out in full force right now. President Trump warned us about this time and time again. He was our 'stopper' to assaults on our Second Amendment. Now that Trump is gone, we are left with loonies like Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, and hundreds of their Democrat robots."

"Never let a good crisis go to waste!", cry the Democrats every time there is a shooting. Slo Joe almost fell up the White House stairs, getting to the closest hot mic. "I am calling on Congress to pass some common sense gun reform", Joe croaked out in his horse voice. "And if Congress can't act quickly enough, I will take some executive action!" Blah, blah, blah. I am so tired of hearing this tired response. Never mind this guy was a Muslim from Syria who just might have been radicalized. Nope. Ban guns. Punish the legal gun owners (again).

Just out of curiosity, I was wondering if the grocery store, which was the scene of the carnage, had a "Gun not allowed" sign in the window. Seems the only people who obey these signs are  law abiding gun owners. But back to the real issue. Why did this Muslim kill 10 Americans? This is a movie most of us have seen over and over and over again.

Ironically, the Boston Marathon bombing made the news earlier this month. Seems the surviving mutt (who also was Muslim) who perpetuated this crime, is trying to get out of his death sentence. He is hoping our current President will listen to his case. Why Biden? The President (who is "strong" in his faith), who has turned a blind eye to millions of innocent American babies being killed in the womb, is against adults who are guilty of capital crimes being put to death. Huh? How does he square that circle? Easy - he is a "proud Democrat".

Meanwhile, the gun grabbers are out in full force right now. President Trump warned us about this time and time again. He was our "stopper" to assaults on our Second Amendment. Now that Trump is gone, we are left with loonies like Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, and hundreds of their Democrat robots.

Here is an aside to this story. Yesterday, for the first time, an alert went off on my phone and my wife's phone. "ALERT! Shelter in place. There is a armed person loose in your area." Okay - then what. For all we knew, there was a desperate person, armed with some weapon, who might be breaking into our house. In the absence of law enforcement, the only thing stopping a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. And most people in this neck of the woods are good guys who also own guns. The Democrats however, would like to cancel that protection which we have. Our Constitutional right to do so.

One final point which needs to be repeated from previous articles. This is directed at Slo Joe and the Democrats. The primary reason for our Second Amendment was not for hunting, not for target practice, not even for personal protection in you house. The primary reason was to keep the government in check. To keep it from becoming tyrannical.

Don't believe me Joe? Read your American history. If we lose our guns, we then lose our freedom, and we will lose our government. Period.

In the land of the blind, a one eyed man can be king...

"We have people being released into our country who have a 10% Covid infection rate. We have drugs galore coming over the border. People on the terror watch list. Criminals. Rapists. Every kind of bad actor. Should not the Secretary of Homeland Security be hitting the klaxon?"

I may be old school, but Homeland Security should be one of the most important posts in government. Like right up there with Defense. I do think the person Biden chose to be the Secretary of Defense sort of passes muster (retired General Lloyd Austin). But the guy Biden picked to run Homeland Security is a loo-loo. He really scares me, due to his incompetence. And he shouldn't be incompetent, as he has worked in Homeland before - under Obama. But this guy is at variance with the truth. Bigly.

Alejandro Mayorkas is a piece of work. For a guy who escaped from Cuba as a youth, he somehow ended on the wrong side of the street (politically). But Biden wanted a puppet to run DHS. One who could do all of Biden's bidding. And this guy fits the bill. For a position this important, a person of integrity would have thrown his badge on the desk, and walked out the door. Not Mayorkas. Biden will lie, and Mayorkas will swear to it. Definition = he is nothing but a tool.

What is happening on the border right now is historic - and not in a good way. Yet this bald headed Cuban has the balls to look into the camera and repeat two huge lies. First, this is no "crisis", only a situation. And then if it does look chaotic, it is all Trump's fault. Trump after all, is the one who dismantled the fine system that Obama built. Those who are paying attention know that both of those statements are world class whoppers. And yet the media just sits and listens to him, with very little challenge.

Here is the truth right now, and you will NEVER hear this from Mayorkas. We have a surge of illegals of biblical proportion coming across our border right now. So many people, all Border Control can do is fingerprint, and then release. No court date is set. Everyone is on the "honor" system. EVERYTHING that Trump did to fix this mess, has been unfixed by Biden and Mayorkas.

We have people being released into our country who have a 10% Covid infection rate. We have drugs galore coming over the border. People on the terror watch list. Criminals. Rapists. Every kind of bad actor. Should not the Secretary of Homeland Security be hitting the klaxon? Sounding the alarm? Loudly? Nope. As a tool of Biden, his allegiance is only to the DNC - not to this country. A real patriot would NEVER allow this mess to happen on our border.

For those who voted for Biden, remember this saying. In the land of the blind, a one eyed man can be king. In our case, we have a one eyed President and a one eyed Secretary of Homeland Security. We are now reaping what we sowed in the last election. I hope those who voted for these idiots are happy right now.

A picture is worth a thousand words...

"BTW - did you hear the White House had an explanation on why Slo Joe fell down? The wind. It was so strong that day, it blew him over once, twice, and three times."

Not a good week for the home team. In just a matter of a few months, the United States, the number one super power in the world, is looking more like the mouse who roared. How do I sum this country up in one word since Slo Joe (somehow) won the last election? Weakness. Total weakness. And Slo Joe falling up the stairs on Air Force One (three times), is a picture which is worth a thousand words.

We had our first sit down meeting with China this past week. On our soil. Our delegation was led by Obama holdover, Tony Blinken. Let me first say this - Tony Blinken is no Mike Pompeo. The West Point grad Pompeo was good - very good when meeting with the world's baddies.

Blinken on the other hand, seemed to enjoy having the CCP kick sand in his face up in Alaska. Here was our chance to tattoo the cause and origin of the coronavirus, on the foreheads of each of the CCP delegates at the meeting. Instead, Blinken sat motionless and let the Chinese rip us for how we treat minorities. Walk all over us. Instead of counter-punching with how the CCP treats the Uyghurs, we just took it. Weakness, total weakness.

And then there is Putin. Our President, who has given tacit approval to the murder of millions of innocent unborn children, called Putin a murderer on an ABC news show. Well played Slo Joe. Nothing like poking the tiger. I mean, this was really a dumb ass thing to do. Putin reacted in an angry fashion, and basically said, "takes one to know one".

Hint to Slo Joe - China is our biggest threat right now. Even though you and Hunter are bought and paid for by the CCP, you need to keep your eye on the prize - and that prize is not Russia. You own Putin an apology Slo Joe. This was an unforced error. Not a good way to start out.

And then there is Rocket Man (Kim Jong-un). He has so little respect for Biden, he won't even return his phone calls. In fact, he sent his sister out to have a presser, in which she basically threatened us with war. All that work that Trump had done in trying to bring North Korea into the fold, is now all for naught.

BTW - did you hear the White House had an explanation on why Slo Joe fell down? The wind. It was so strong that day, it blew him over once, twice, and three times. And there was irony to Biden's stumbles. It was Slo Joe who made fun of Trump when Trump stumbled (just a bit) coming down a ramp at West Point. Biden laughed and said, "Wait until you see how I run up the ramp to Air Force One!" Well Slo Joe - we did. And it was not pretty.

Indefensible and unforgivable

"As most of us know, we are in turbulent times right now. Many believe that right is wrong and wrong is right. That was predicted in the Bible eons ago. Evil, the principalities of darkness, are stalking our land."

Welcome to the new world of "woke". It is a land which is antithetical to the world people of faith recognize - especially during Lent. Why? In the land of "woke", sins are rarely if ever forgiven. If you do something stupid and regrettable during your youth, that is tough toenails. You will be branded and tattooed with those indiscretions for the rest of your life. People of faith on the other hand, recognize forgiveness and redemption - no matter how grievous the sin.

In the news yesterday, there was a story about a young up and coming gal, who was on the precipice of a huge promotion. Her name is not important, and many of us would not recognize it anyhow (she was affiliated with MSNBC). Anyhow, during her teenage years, she put some stupid and regrettable things on social media. In the ten years which have past since she posted those items, she grew up and matured. She long ago removed the offensive items from social media, and has offered many mea culpas for it since then. To bad, how sad. The uber-left saw that as an unforgivable sin. She is now being let go, and probably "cancelled", so she can never work again in media.

Let me remind you, she is one of the left's own. Not a conservative - not a Donald Trump supporter. And yet, this is how the left is eating their young. No forgiveness. No redemption. You must be cancelled. If that is what they do to one of their own, think of what they will do to people on our side. Whereas we can forgive those who have strayed in the past (like, Leo 2.0), offenders to the uber-left, might has well go live on Mars.

The Bible tells us that we will be forgiven by the same yardstick that we forgive others. It is right there, in the Lord's Prayer. But when you shun God and His teachings, then the "woke" culture of forgiveness takes over. In other words, there is none. No redemption. You screw up, you are done forever. Case closed.

A woman of deep faith was being interviewed on one of the cable shows yesterday. When asked about how we navigate these dark times, her reply was simple and straight forward. "It is when times are the darkest, that our faith allows us to shine the brightest." Amen to that. Maybe as hard as it is, we need to outwardly forgive those on the left for the terrible things they have done, and are doing, do our country and others. Show them our light. Help lead them out of their dark world.

As most of us know, we are in turbulent times right now. Many believe that right is wrong and wrong is right. That was predicted in the Bible eons ago. Evil, the principalities of darkness, are stalking our land. We need to remember who the real enemy is. It is the one who is turning us against the other. It is the one teaching us not to forgive and to cancel others we disagree with. We need to remember that.

The circus is in town!

"Is there a lessons learned we can take away from this trial? Only one in my book. Stay away from Minneapolis. Law and order are becoming ancient terms, which are no longer practiced. The once fine city of Minneapolis is badly in need of a make over."

When I was a young boy, one of the most exciting things I could hear was, "The circus is back in town!" But alas and alack - times have changed. The circus no longer comes to town, and if it did, the animal rights nut balls, would be killing any joy that kids might have from watching it. No matter how humane all the animals were treated, it would not be good enough for the lefties. So the Barnum and Bailey experience now lives in the ash heap of history.

But hold on! Right now, we have another circus in town! And with this circus, the lefties love it! I am talking about the George Floyd "murder" trial. This is a trial which will have no winners, no matter how the jury rules. The prosecution, headed up by the worst AG in the country (KE), has an army of lawyers, which make OJ's legal team look paltry. Chauvin's legal team on the other hand, is small. But regardless of the size of Chauvin's team, he might have another ally on his team. That would be the truth.

First off, I am amazed this trial is being held in Minneapolis. Finding 12 to 14 fair and impartial jurors would be a bridge too far in this town. Even though this trial has national exposure, I would have moved it to outstate Minnesota. The percentage of loons living outstate, is only a fraction of the loons who live in Hennepin or Ramsey counties.

Plus, Ellison's kid as some of his council associates, decided BEFORE the trial, to give Floyd's family a king's ransom of money as compensation. Money the city does not have. Money that could cause the trial to come to a screeching halt. But who cares? Nobody on the City Council or the AG team has a lick of sense.

Then of course, there is the 100,000 dollar question. What if during the trial, it is proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, that George Floyd died of Fentanyl poisoning? And not the knee of Dereck Chauvin? What then? Does the city ask the Floyd family for the money back? Fat chance.

Like I said - no winners in this circus. Should Chauvin not be convicted, very few people in Minneapolis will be satisfied with that outcome. In fact, some might want to burn the place down (again). However, if Chauvin is convicted, stand by for the mother of all appeals. This process could go on until Jacob Frey is an old man. Bottom line - this is a mess, a very hot mess.

Am I a fan of Dereck Chauvin? Not really. I think he is a flawed man. Is he a murderer? Maybe - but proving that may be a tall mountain. Here is what I think. What happened on that Memorial Day weekend, by the intersection of Chicago and Lake, was a series of unfortunate events. Many losers, with no winners.

Is there a lesson learned we can take away from this trial? Only one in my book. Stay away from Minneapolis. Law and order are becoming ancient terms, which are no longer practiced. The once fine city of Minneapolis, is badly in need of a make over. A big time make over.

A harbinger of things to come...

"We need Joe Manchin to put on his big boy pants, and stop this insanity in the Senate. He needs to remember he represents a coal state. He needs to remember he is an American. It is a sad state when all our hopes are pinned on one Democrat in the Senate who might, just might, come to his senses. Lord help us..."

Well, we are not that far removed from the "polar vortex" which recently froze our buns off. Was it cold in MN? Yea, it was cold. Coldest ever? Not even close. But - because that cold front dove all the way from Canada down into Texas, it strapped the country for power. So much so, the extra heat needed to keep MN customers from suffering brownouts or blackouts, was very expensive. Like, over $300 (per residential customer) for those few days the temp stayed below zero. That $300 surcharge should be a wakeup call for call of us.

Is there something wrong with this picture? Hell yes, there is! We are now a country which is slowly committing energy suicide. Why? The knucklehead we elected, who is owned by the greenies on the left, thinks by getting rid of coal and fracking, we will be living in a land of sunshine and lollypops. That is the thinking of people who don't think. Here is reality. Winters are going to be cold. Temps are going to periodically go below zero. Our state's population will continue to increase, so our energy requirements will increase. To reduce our reliable power sources, to satisfy the Earth goddess Gaia, is a fool's errand carried out by idiots.

Joe Biden, the "hero of the little guy", is really out to stick it to the poor and middle class. Besides allowing out gasoline to rise to above $3/gallon (or more) this summer, the price of heating our homes is going to be out of sight. In the pastel colored world in which Biden lives, the price of gas means nothing. We can all just hop in our battery powered cars and drive into the sunset. As far as heating out homes, we can all have solar panels and a windmill in our backyard to cover that issue. Problem solved.

Here is reality for those of us whose sky is painted in bright, bold colors. Getting rid of our coal is going to be a killer. Coal still supplies 20% of our electricity. Cold hard fact. If we get rid of that 20%, large sections of our country is going to have to do without enough electricity. Needlessly.

How about building the new nuclear plants? Sure, I am in favor. But the average time to build a nuke once all the hurdles and lawsuits have been cleared - is five years. And we will need a lot of those smaller nuke plants to take the place of the coal we are getting rid of. And solar and wind have a long, long way to go, before they are viable.

Our energy program under Biden, is just like his open border policy. Self inflicted wounds. Nobody is forcing us to do this. This is all us. We elected Biden (please don't ask me why), and he (with a friendly Congress), are calling the shots.

We need Joe Manchin to put on his big boy pants, and stop this insanity in the Senate. He needs to remember he represents a coal state. He needs to remember he is an American. It is a sad state when all our hopes are pinned on one Democrat in the Senate who might, just might, come to his senses. Lord help us...

Sucking on the Blarney Stone

"Sucking on the Blarney Stone. Well done Slo Joe. I bet most of the minions who voted for you had no clue what a country wrecker you are. We did. You are doing just what most of us feared. You sir, are dishonest and a liar. Always have been, always will be. Happy St. Paddy's day."

Our Irish President. Our accidental Irish President. Our Irish President who may not be that Irish at all (Biden, it turns out, is not really an Irish name). In any event, he thinks he is Irish, so on this day, when we are all a bit Irish, we will let him also be Irish. That being said, a common Irish saying for one who has the gift of gab, and maybe embellishes a bit by doing so, "kisses the Blarney Stone". Joe Biden does not kiss the Blarney Stone - he sucks on it.

Even though this man has dementia, and is often times incoherent, he loves to talk in "word salads." It does not matter to him what he says, just as long as he talks. And he does not embellish like many kindly old Irish folks - instead, Biden out and out lies. Don't think so? Look at what he has said, and then stack those statements up against his actions.

The American Rescue Plan, aka the latest Stimulus Package. What a crock this is. If he had three drops of honest blood coursing through his veins, he would admit this $1.9T pile of goo is just a DNC goodie package. Kind of like the "Porkulus Bill" (America Recovery and Reinvestment Act) was in 2009. He NEVER has admitted that only 9% of this newly minted law goes towards Covid relief. And yet, that is how he and Commie Harris are selling this thing.

The new tax increase. Reminds me of when candidate Bill Clinton promised over and over and over again that he would NEVER raise taxes on the middle class. Just like Slo Joe recently promised. Shortly after Clinton was elected, he looked in the camera and said (with a tear in his eye), "I tried, I really tried. I did not know how bad things were. So, I had to raise the middle class taxes as well." The table is now set for Slo Joe to do a similar mea clupa. This tax increase of between 2 and 4 trillion dollars, is going to cost ALL of us, a mint.

The southern border. If Slo Joe was like Pinocchio, his nose would grow to mile or so long. He and the people in his orbit, lie to the American people on a daily basis. Even semantics have proved to be problematic. Can't call the southern border a "crisis" - it is only a "situation". Again, what a crock! Biden is empowering and enriching Mexican cartels by turning a blind eye to the human trafficking coming up from the southern border. Biden is allowing more drugs to enter the nation, and (gasp!), he is sending illegals with positive Covid tests, all over the south. Biden is a liar, liar, pants on fire! And he is dangerous to our country.

Sucking on the Blarney Stone. Well done Slo Joe. I bet most of the minions who voted for you had no clue what a country wrecker you are. We did. You are doing just what most of us feared. You sir, are dishonest and a liar. Always have been, always will be. Happy St. Paddy's day.

Confiscatory living in America

"Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and the committee - are taking our country apart brick by brick. And we are letting them. Why? Is there nothing that can be done, short of war? Somebody please weigh in on this one. Weigh in before it is too late."

Yesterday, I addressed the upcoming bill on infrastructure. How big and sweeping it was going to be. That bill is only part of a barrage of major spending bills (with little or no Republican support), which will be coming out of Slo Joe and his Congress. Then yesterday, they leaked out some of the specifics concerning the next bill after infrastructure. Taxes. The first tax increase in decades, complements of the Democrats (again). And this one is going to be a doozy.

Let me start out by saying this. Everything which has been leaked out so far concerning this bill, is antithetical to how Donald Trump ran the economy. Instead of taking the shackles of government off of businesses and the wealth producers, Biden's handlers (the committee), are going to put them into a vice. Squeeze the life out of them. Kill the economy. Kill our wealth. No more better mousetraps - instead, people will just be trying to survive.

Why would Slo Joe do such a thing? He is not. He is only a skin puppet for the committee. They are the puppet masters. The string pullers. The wealth haters. This is all about equity. Not equality, but equity. Using the tax code, turn our government into Robin Hood on steroids. If someone has too much - that can be fixed. It can be taken. The socialists call this fair - the conservatives call this confiscatory.

Slo Joe and Ms. Nancy want to really sock it to the corporations. Raise the corporate tax rate. Make it the highest in the world. Then go after couples who make over $400,000. Strip them of their wealth. What idiots like Slo Joe and Ms. Nancy do not realize is this - high income people are the job creators. Take their wealth away, as so do the jobs. Tax corporations too high, and they will leave. As much as Slo Joe and Ms. Nancy would like to, you can't hold a gun to someone's head and force them to produce. People of wealth can simply gather up their marbles - and either quit or leave.

Raising the cap gains tax is another stupid idea. Why are cap gains taxed less than ordinary income? To spur investment. Take that advantage away, and there goes the small investors. There goes "crowdfunding" and venture capitalism. Why can't Slo Joe and Ms. Nancy understand this? Donald Trump did. Donald Trump did because he worked for a living. Biden and Pelosi have never worked a day in their mooching lives.

Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and the committee - are taking our country apart brick by brick. And we are letting them. Why? Is there nothing that can be done, short of war? Somebody please weigh in on this one. Weigh in before it is too late.

Next budget buster - infrastructure

"This is just some of it - not all of it. How much more will be addressed in Pelosi's bill? Unknown. The thing I fear the most is it will be fraught with 'greenie' things, which will not do much to fix our near term problems."

If you thought the last stimulus bill was a 600 pound pile of goo, just wait. Pelosi's Congress could be working on the "Mother of all bills" right now. One which could be eye popping large, and have no end in sight. Yes, infrastructure. A bill which has often been talked about in the past decade(s), but never really done. And just like home or car maintenance, the longer you wait to fix or repair, the more expensive things get.

Just for grins, let's look at some items which could or should be in that bill:

  • Electric Grid - this is one which SHOULD be in the bill, but odds are, it will not be. But boy, oh boy, we need it! According to the National Academy of Engineering, the cost to fix the items which need fixing the most in our fragile grid, would cost between 1.5 and 2.0 trillion dollars. To scrap the entire thing and replace it with all new and efficient equipment, would be 5 trillion dollars. Of ALL the things in the infrastructure which needs to be addressed, this is number one by a country mile.
  • Bridges and Highways - Remember when the 35W bridge collapsed in Minneapolis? That started a boat load of discussions on how ancient and decrepit our nation's bridges were. Like, many of them are graded poorly by county, state and federal engineers. The grades on many of our bridges are out and out scary. In fact, one out of four are listed as deficient, or not suited to carry the vehicle traffic which travel on them. To fix the roads and bridges which really need it, it would cost close to a trillion dollars (according to the United States Department of Transportation). And that might be low.
  • Broadband - Compared to the other items, this one is cheap (if you call the price tag cheap). The Federal Communications Commission estimates to wire the entire nation with universal broadband would cost $350 billion dollars. That is a whole lot of money to pay young people to game, and troll social media.
  • Pipelines - Let's talk water first. Our nation has over 2 million miles of underground water pipelines. Much of it is aging and in need of repair or replacement. In fact, there is a water main break every 2 minutes in our country, resulting in the loss of 6 billion gallons of treated water. BTW - don't forget Flint, Michigan. That is not the only city which has lead and/or arsenic to deal with. How much to fix everything? Lots.
  • Sewerage -  This is also a mess waiting to happen. The EPA estimates that to fix the sewerage systems in 30 large metro areas, it would cost close to $30B. How much to fix the entire nation's sewerage system? Lots.
This is just some of it - not all of it. How much more will be addressed in Pelosi's bill? Unknown. The thing I fear the most is it will be fraught with "greenie" things, which will not do much to fix our near term problems.

Stay tuned on this one folks. Ms. Nancy said this will be rolling down the tracks very soon. Speaking of tracks and what needs to be upgraded or fixed...

EV on the horizon?

"What we need Biden to do right now, is get the hell out of the way. Get government out of our way. Let us have full access to our natural resources (mostly energy), until the EV is fully hatched and ready to go to market. Trump the business guy would full understand this. Biden, the government tool, does not."

Slo Joe is kind of correct on one issue. The electric car is going to be part of our future. How big of a part? By 2030, folks who drive an EV (electric vehicle), will be more common than uncommon. Today, it is just the opposite. But wait - if these things are such a big "shebang", why wait until 2030? Or later? One simple word - batteries.

In my truck, I have a heavy duty battery which will give me good performance for years. It weighs about 50 pounds, and recharges every time I drive the truck. A brand new shiny Tesla on the other hand, has a battery which weighs about 1,200 pounds, and takes over 2 hours to fully charge using a 220 volt charger. Besides all of which, once the Tesla is charged, it cannot go over 500 miles (on a charge), and if the weather is very hot or very cold, the charge lasts a shorter period of time.

The new battery ideas are exciting to say the least. Many are in the concept phase right now, and have a distance to go before they are ready to "go to market." But just for a minute, let's suppose that by 2030, this battery thing is fixed, and the EV becomes a viable reality. EVs can go 1,000 on a charge, the batteries are lighter, and cheaper to manufacture.

Any problems of note in getting to that point? First off, Biden was DEAD WRONG to try and put the internal combustion engine out of business right now, by cutting off our fuel supply. We still need the gas powered car. At least until the end of the decade (probably longer). And to choke off our fuel supply, or to allow the price per gallon to artificially eclipse $4, hurts mostly the working poor. That is problem number one.

Problem number two - charging stations. Not only will most homes need to have one in the garage, but we will need remote charging stations all over creation. And the cost to do such? Lots. When is all that needed work going to be done to our infrastructure, and how will it be funded? Not by the last stimulus bill. The upcoming infrastructure bill? Maybe, although it is already estimated the bill as it exists will cost a zillion dollars.

Problem number three - power. Will we have enough power to satisfy hundreds of thousands (maybe millions) of thirsty charging stations by 2030? Hint to Slo Joe - windmills are not going to cut it. Getting rid of our coal plants this decade, is a dumb ass thing to do. Power does not come from a magic wand Slo Joe. If you had ever worked a real job, you would know that.

Problem number four - manufacturing and externalities of production. Batteries are messy things to make. Cobalt is a good example of that. It is mined in many poor countries, and child labor has been used. It can be hazardous to humans if not handled correctly. A big stumbling block for wide spread production of EV's, is the batteries. If there is not enough production or resource availability to build enough batteries, that will be a problem. If hazardous materials to make batteries are mined by child labor, that is even a bigger problem.

Problem number five - "it's not easy being green". Okay, I stole that from a Kermit the Frog song. What we have learned with windmills (the hard way), is once their service life is over, they cannot be recycled. So they sit in landfills for untold years to come. What happens to EV batteries once they are fully depleted? Can they be recycled, or will we have another windmill issue to deal with?

Many car companies are going full bore in tooling up for new EV models this decade. Have they taken the entire product cycle of batteries under consideration? All the problems which were addressed above? Or are they just chasing the "shiny new penny"?

What we need Biden to do right now, is get the hell out of the way. Get government out of our way. Let us have full access to our natural resources (mostly energy), until the EV is fully hatched and ready to go to market. Trump the business guy would fully understand this. Biden, the government tool, does not.

Dementia? Dumb? Dishonest? Or all of the above?

"For those of you who voted for this inept clown, are your dreams coming true? For those of us who did not vote for Biden, our worst nightmares are coming to fruition. Elections have consequences folks - and we have some bad ones right now."

Anyone else have the opportunity to waste 26 minutes of their lives last night? By watching Slo Joe? I really don't know where to start. I guess Donald Trump was not our last president. He did nothing to get vaccines available to the public. And China did not start this virus - Trump did. Wait Joe - that does not make any sense. Are you saying Donald Trump was president, as he, not China, was to blame for the virus? The vaccines of course, are all here strictly because of you, Slo Joe. Operation Warp Speed never happened. All three of our vaccines are here just because you, Slo Joe, snapped your fingers.

The question I had going through my head last night, was a very basic one. Was Biden reading this garbage off his prompter, or did he really believe this stuff? He was particularly proud of the fact that he was going to meet or beat his goal of 100 million vaccinations during his first 100 days in office. One small problem. And here are the facts, and they are immutable. Donald Trump was well on his way to meeting or exceeding the same goal. Period. Plus, if Donald Trump had not plowed the road for Operation Warp Speed, Slo Joe would have had nothing to talk about last night - except, maybe the mess on the southern border.

Truthfully, there is not one reason in the world to listen to Biden or his red headed press secretary. One lies, and the other one swears to it. No facts, just gobblety gook, or pure bullshit. I could learn more by watching the Comedy Channel, than listening to Biden or his group of goofballs.

On of my favorite war movies is Full Metal Jacket. In the movie, there was a real screw up in a Marine boot camp company. He was so messed up, the DI nicknamed him "Gomer Pyle". When "Pyle" would really screw up, the DI would get up in his face and yell, "Are you shitting me Pyle?" That is what I felt like doing to Biden last night. His speech was so full of misinformation, and out and out lies, I was pulling what little hair I have left out of my head. Biden either has dementia, he is dumb, he is dishonest, or all of the above.

The vaccine is going forward, and most everyone who wants to have a shot, will - very soon. Next subject Slo Joe. What the hell have you done to our southern border? Even the President of Mexico is somewhat slack jawed right now by what you have done. Nobody outside of your group of goofballs, or the DNC, can believe what a hot mess you have created on our southern border. This is the biggest act of sabotage ever perpetuated on this country by a United States President.

For those of you who voted for this inept clown, are your dreams coming true? For those of us who did not vote for Biden, our worst nightmares are coming to fruition. Elections have consequences folks - and we have some bad ones right now.

Where is the common cold?

"Maybe next year, once most become vaccinated and herd immunity sets in, the common flu and common cold will make a return. Or maybe some of the sanitation tricks we have learned this year will continue into next."

I don't know about anybody else, but not only have I not had the common cold this season, nor has my wife, but I don't know of anyone who has. In fact, I have heard others remark on the same thing. It is as if the common cold just vanished this year. Kind of like the common flu. If not for Covid -19, this would have been the most remarkable year for staying healthy.

Is it wearing a mask which cut down on the spread of the common cold? Maybe. The common cold is still a virus, and most viruses are so tiny, they can slip though the fabric of most masks. Is it sneezes and coughs being caught in someone's mask, rather than being spread into the air? Could be. But this is another oddity. It was very rare this year to hear anyone sneeze or cough when we were out and about. Like, almost never happened.

Maybe it is the ubiquitous hand sanitizers. People contently sanitizing or washing their hands. Now we might be getting somewhere. President Trump was always a bit hesitant to shake hands, as he knew that was a primary way of spreading germs and viruses. So this past year, shaking hands was a no-no, and cleaning our hands became a constant.

Maybe next year, once most become vaccinated and herd immunity sets in, the common flu and common cold will make a return. Or maybe some of the sanitation tricks we have learned this year will continue into next. As much as I yearn to return to normal, the "normal" thing of having a common cold is not something I care about. But it is what it is. I would take a common cold over something sinister like Covid - 19, any day of the week, and twice on Sundays.

Today, I am headed out to get my first haircut of the year. For sure, I need one. I did not want to wear a mask when I got a haircut. I hate those things. Now that my wife and I have had both shots, with some "gestation" time for the immunity to set in, it is time to get "high and tight" once again.

2021 could be a very good year. Could be. Other than what is going on in Washington right now, we all have reasons to be optimistic. Besides all of which, this weekend, daylight savings starts. Spring - we are SO ready for you this year! Bring it on!

The hate is strong in these people...

"Most conservatives don't hate Joe Biden. We know he is being used as nothing more than a prop. We do however, hate what the committee is doing to our country. Do we hate the people doing it? No. As wrong as we know they are, we don't hate them - only the product of their vile work."

It has been many years since I have purged all the hatred out of my heart for other people. It is part of that coming to faith thing. Once you dive deep(er) into your faith, you realize just how evil and counter productive hate is. I will say this however - in my adult life, I have never seen hate so palpable, so vile, as I have seen the left's hatred towards Donald Trump. A hatred so deep and evil, they elected a man with severe dementia who can't tell a dit from a "duh".

Ladies and gentlemen, our country is now being run by a committee. A committee of seasoned leftists. Of socialists.  A committee of evil people, who not only hate Donald Trump, but also hate the way our country works. The way our country was founded. They prop up Biden, to sign anything they compose, and brick by brick, they are taking our country apart. And they are doing it with smiles on their faces.

The socialists hate Donald Trump and what he stood for. Stood for? Donald Trump stood for America. For how exceptional America is. For our belief of equal opportunity. For our belief that America is a good country, made up of mostly good people. That America saved the world (twice) in world wars. That our country made the Soviet Union buckle, without firing a shot.

But - we are not a country of equity. That is antithetical to the underpinnings our country is constructed of. As much as the socialists hate our system of equal opportunity, and try to change it to equity (equal outcomes), that ain't gonna happen.

But - with the committee in charge right now, much damage can still be done to our great republic. Because the committee hates fossil fuels so deeply, and our country is so rich in resources with them, they had Slo Joe sign an order which basically turns off much or our oil spigot. Not realizing of course, the ones who will suffer the most from this foolish act will be the poor.

Why? Just about EVERYTHING we use in our daily lives, comes manufactured and/or shipped from someplace. That manufacturing or shipment used fossil fuel. When the price of oil goes up, so does everything we use. But their hatred of Donald Trump, and the country he led, is so deep, so blind, they simply don't care. These poor people are part of the consequential and collateral damage needed to accomplish the committee's vile mission.

During the next two years, America could not only surrender its sovereignty, and its energy independence, but also its standing as a super power. We will be in effect, be ceding the world's landscape to the baddies we have kept in check for years. China, Russia, and Iran could end up with all the chips, without firing a shot. The committee will have no problem with this outcome, as in their eyes, our country was founded on conquest and nationalism. It is about time we were taken down a few notches, so everything globally, can be equal. Equal like in equity.

Most conservatives don't hate Joe Biden. We know he is being used as nothing more than a prop. We do however, hate what the committee is doing to our country. Do we hate the people doing it? No. As wrong as we know they are, we don't hate them - only the product of their vile work.

Will the left, the socialists, the committee, ever get over hating Donald Trump? I hope so, yet I doubt it. To purge their hearts from hate for others, first they need to rediscover their faith. That is faith in only God the Father - not Gaia, and certainly not self. And they need to do so, before their blind hatred ruins this great country.
