The colors in his world...

It has often been said, that conservatives like Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump see our nation, and its magnificent flag, in big bold colors. Red, white and blue, looking almost neon in their brightness. The YMCA also was like that. Big, bold colors, defining their values. But then the YMCA got PC'd out, and the big bold colors disappeared. They were replaced by muted, mauve, pastel colors. And by the way, so were their once cherished values.

The lens that people like Barack Obama and Joe Biden use to see our country through, looks nothing like the lens that we use. Having a pastel and "leading from behind" lens and values, finds their narrative nicely. Narrative? What narrative? I am talking about energy, immigration, wealth, sexuality, how we live, and so forth. Examples you might ask?

Energy - The first days in office, Joe Biden started to gut our energy program. And replace it with? Nothing. Just suck out and take it. Already, gas prices nationwide have gone up 30 - 50 cents a gallon. Soon, food prices, and everything which needs to be transported will go up also.

Thousands of good paying union jobs were gone in a blink of an eye when Biden cancelled the Keystone Pipeline. Why would he do something as STUPID as that? Colors. Pastel colors. The pastel colors Biden sees the world through show that everyone could and should be driving either EVs or hybrids. We should all be heating our homes with solar and wind. Oil and natural gas should be relegated to the dustbin of history.

Here is the irony. This century we will move on from fossil fuel. Most futurists agree on that point. We will move towards cleaner, and more abundant energy sources. But it will be gradual, with one form of energy slowly replacing another. That is how the big bold colors look to conservatives. We are not anti-progress. Heck, just the opposite. But we are not stupid either. Doing this the right way in the 21st century, we can have our cake and eat it too.

Immigration - Looking through the pastel lens that Biden uses, the immigration system that Donald Trump, used "gutted" our immigration system. Those are the words from our brand new (and very goofy), DHS Secretary. There is no crisis on the southern border - just some repair which needs to happen. After all, if Trump had not ruined it, everything would be sunshine and lollypops right now.

Here is the truth. In the world of bold colors, we all know that a country without borders is really no country at all. When Slo Joe stopped the building of our fence, and then put out the word to the world that illegals can come here and get tons of freebies, the mad dash has started. We will have mobs of illegals at the southern border, from all over. It is now estimated that we will have 13,000 unaccompanied minors here in May. That will crash the system. But who cares? In the pastel world of the DHS Secretary and Biden, that is NOT a crisis. Just stuff.

But - the damage they could do to our country before November of 2022 could be enormous. Congress needs to get off their ass and do SOMETHING. That is the only play we have in the next 21 months.
