Man of steel

"For those who do not believe we are entering one of the most dangerous periods in our history, better wake up and have another cup of coffee. This is a time when we will need a person of strong presence and unlimited courage to lead us."

No comic book fans - this is not about Clark Kent, nor Superman. It is however, about the strongest person (for his age) I think I have ever seen. I am talking about our President, Donald J. Trump. Now before you Never Trumpers hang up the phone and move on, let me say this one thing to mollify you.

In my opinion, Donald Trump is a flawed man. He sometimes says things he should not. He sometimes does a "Ready, Fire, Aim" when he speaks or tweets. He sometimes steps over the line of veracity, by too much embellishment. There, I have said all the negatives I can about this President. Even with that "thorn in his flesh", Donald Trump is the best President we have had since Ronald Reagan.

For those who do not believe we are entering one of the most dangerous periods in our history, better wake up and have another cup of coffee. This is a time when we will need a person of strong presence and unlimited courage to lead us. To use common vernacular, we need someone with balls. Someone who is not afraid to lead. Someone who can take a punch over and over and over again - and still come out swinging. We need Donald Trump.

What is being bushed aside by the socialist media (again), is a very important accomplishment that Donald Trump recently had. He and his son-in-law, recently garnered a peace deal between Israel and the UAE. In fact, the first commercial flight between Israel and the UAE took place just a few days ago. This peace deal is so huge, so unexpected, Donald Trump has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Unlike Obama who received one for "something he might do" (and never did), Trump's nomination has got some meat on the bone. It means something for long term peace in the Middle East.

Yesterday, Donald Trump signed an executive order banning offshore drilling off the coast of Florida and Georgia. For people down there, that was huge. And this was a total win for everyone. Why? Under Trump's leadership, we are energy independent. We have plenty of gas and oil right now. We simply don't need additional wells being drilled off the coast of Florida. It is that risk vs. reward thing. The risk is way higher than the reward. And all of a sudden, the state of Florida is starting to tilt away from Biden and towards the President.

I don't know if Donald Trump is a man for all seasons - but I do know this - he is a man for THIS season. He calls people on their BS when they deserve it. That includes world leaders who have gotten away with "things", for way, way too long.  Our allies for example. For those who have not paid their fair share to NATO, Donald Trump is calling them out. For trade deals which are crap for us, he has abrogated, and then replaced with better ones. For China, who thinks they can roam the South China Sea unchecked, Donald Trump has performed a checkmate with our Navy. For Russia, who is boasting about their super duper hypersonic missiles, Donald Trump has said, "We have some of those also - better than yours."

Joe Biden is the 97 pound weakling, who goes to the beach and has bullies kick sand in his face. Donald Trump on the other hand, can't stand bullies. He will vanquish all bullies, foreign or domestic. He will fix was is broken. He will restore our greatness. He will enforce our laws and protect our borders.

Is Donald Trump Superman? Sort of. He can out think, and out work, people half his age. Plus (and this is huge) - he keeps his promises. What? How? A politician who keeps his promises? Donald Trump is NOT a politician. Maybe that is why and how he does keep his promises.

  1. I think Donald Trump has done an admirable job in his 4 years. Even if he has no interest in treating the presidency as anything but one more reality show that he can use to get the attention he craves and he hasn’t grown into the job because he can’t. But the markets are up, half the citizens are happy, and 350 miles of wall are up with the illegal immigration problem solved. Numerous books will be written by and about WH staff making millions for his family and friends. All in all, a pretty good run for the Orange Man. 4 more years to create jobs and manage the civil war won’t kill the American Experiment.
