Do we need a WFTO?

"A new organization called the Worldwide Freedom and Trade Organization might be the solution. It would be different than what the Globalists envision. It would be mostly for the protection of each member country, and keeping the sea lanes open for commerce."

I would like to take credit for this idea, but I cannot. That would be cheating. Who it was that thought of it, escapes me right now, but that is not important. The concept of this idea is what is important. I think we can all agree that NATO has been a huge roadblock to Vladimir Putin in his military adventures in Europe. Even though some thought NATO might have outlived its purpose after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia's invasion of Ukraine has given NATO new life.

But NATO works fine and dandy in Europe. But what about the rest of the world? We seem to have some baddies sprinkled all around this planet. And we have some freedom loving countries who are becoming more and more nervous about the intentions of these baddies. 

For example, the Middle East. Even though we have agreements with Israel that we will come to their aid if attacked, Iran is becoming less and less fearful of those agreements. In fact, for logic which escapes most of us, Joe Biden wants to give Iran about six billion dollars. Huh? And what would Iran do with all that money? I don't know - let's ask Hezbollah. Iran has threatened many times to exterminate Israel, and they will use Hezbollah as their proxy. This cannot stand.

Of course, the 600-pound gorilla still lives in southeast Asia. China. China, and their puppet North Korea could be a huge disrupter to peace and commerce to the entire region. Japan, India, Taiwan, Viet Nam, South Korea, and the PI are all vulnerable. If China makes a play for Taiwan, it will turn the South China Sea into a cauldron. However, if we had an alliance of nations, worldwide, who had Article Five language in their agreement, that might take some of the teeth out of the dragon.

It would be mostly for the protection of each member country, and keeping the sea lanes open for commerce. The number of member nations would be huge - far outnumbering the baddie nations. Every nation would do like the NATO charter mandates - 2% of GDP for common defense.

I think the world is ready for this. It could be the peacekeeper the League of Nations and the UN never became. No nation would dare do another invasion similar to Ukraine. The cost would be too high. This was just an idea, but I sure don't think it was a bad one.
