Confused about our southern border?

"This is an invasion folks. It is as simple as that. Brought to you live, and in color, by the gang who can't shoot straight."  

This is a head scratcher for sure. Why is there all this fuss over the southern border? Our border with Mexico is closed, right? It was to re-open today, June 21st. Then the Delta variant to Covid - 19 hit. This variant is so severe, so strong, so contagious, it was decided by Homeland Security to keep our southern (and northern) borders closed until July 21st of this year. 

Wait just a minute Bird! That can't be right! Did we not have 8 times as many illegals caught this past May, than were caught in May 2020? Yes, that is true. And that puts the number of illegals caught over 180,000, just for the month of May 2021. True again. Plus, the number caught does not include the number of "get aways". That number could be huge. Once again, true.

So, what are we doing with folks we are catching who have this dreaded Delta variant? Turning them back? Locking them up in isolation? Or just turning them loose in our general population. Who then exactly, are we closing the borders to? And what good is it, if we are letting tens of thousands of potentially infected people cross? Is this fair to legal Americans? Does this make any sense, what-so-ever?

Of course not. This self inflicted wound of the Biden Administration has never been about border security. It has only been about flooding the zone with new, blue voters. If the Democrats can look like Santa Clause to the new comers, and have normal (red) citizens look like Scrooge, game over. The illegals will vote blue until the cows come home. Any other story which may come out of the mouths of Biden, Harris, or the bald headed Cuban, are just that - stories.

Happy Monday everyone. Happy Summer Solstice, also. The southern border remains a real problem for America. As the governor of Arizona recently said, "The unfettered illegal immigration is affecting the border states right now. Soon it will affect every city in America."
