Where is ground zero? Texas and Arizona

Here is a witch's brew. Mix the effects of the pandemic, a recovering economy, near record heat, a prolonged drought, and for good measure, throw in Biden's open border policy. What do you have? A world class mess. A mess so bad, the Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, has recently declared a state of emergency in Texas. The Governor of Arizona, Doug Ducey, might be close behind in doing the same. Why a state of emergency? It will give the governors more power in dealing with this invasion across their southern borders. In the absence of the feds doing their Constitutional duty, the states need to stand in the gap.

I have had this thought more than once. If I could go back in time, maybe 25 years, and find the most staunch Democrat around, I wonder the reaction I would get if I told him or her this story from the future - "In 2021, we will elect a Democrat, so radical, he will mandate the southern border be wide open, letting over 1,000,000 illegals enter our country in 2021 alone." I dare say that Democrat would look at me like I had been smoking wacky tobacco. 

Here is the bottom line folks (to paraphrase our accidental President) - 25 years ago there would not have been a beating heart, red, blue, or purple, who could possibly image what is going on in our country today. Not just the carnage on the border, but the carnage in many of our big, blue cities. Unbridled murder of men, women and children.

But somehow, on the way from 1996 to the present, this nation has lost its way. What is happening on our southern border, with the illegals, the drugs, the gangs, the trafficking - is unfathomable. The Democrat Party, now turned into the socialist party, has all but ruined our national fabric. Their ranks are inundated with enemies of the state. Do you want to talk about the January 6th insurrection? I can talk about the insurrection going on each day, every day, in the new socialist party of Minnesota, as well as points east, west, north, and south.

This country is too precious to too many to have Mr. Sippy Cup screw it up.

It is hot. It is dry. It is summer in the desert southwest. People will die in the desert. Some already have. Does anybody care? Not the socialists. They only want people with beating hearts which can go to the voting booth and pull the lever - over, and over, and over again - for socialists. That is the bottom line. That is why Governor's Abbott and Ducey need to stop this insurrection.
