"My advice is to enjoy Elon Musk as he continues to thrive and push different technologies forward. Guys like Elon come around once every hundred or so years. How so? Elon is a very rare breed. He makes very hard stuff seem very easy. And we are ALL benefiting from that skill of Elon Musk."
Relax. I don't mean Elon Musk is a "pusher man" like in drug dealing. He is however a "pusher" when it comes to new and emerging technologies. For example, his SpaceX company has passed up Boeing and NASA like they were standing still. And Elon Musk is a relative newcomer in space and rocket technology. Or his Starlink program. In five short years, Starlink has grown to over 6,500 satellites and makes and operates the largest constellation program in the world - hands down.
In Musk's spare time, besides running Telsa and making EV's, he is also developing one of the fastest and most powerful AI computers in the world. Like easy-peasy. He is working on a new battery (NOT Lithium) which will revolutionize the industry, and massive power packs which can be used to help power communities in an outage. Plus, he is doing very important work in mapping out the brain, and implant sensors which could help Parkinson's and Alzheimer patients. And don't forget about his Boring Company. And Twitter (now called "X").
I mean, does this guy ever sleep? Of all the things that Elon is into, the one which fascinates me the most is his upcoming robot - Optimus, Generation 3. Even though robots are being developed all over the world now, like everything else Elon is doing, he is "pushing" the technology forward. How much so? He would like to unveil Optimus, Generation 3 by the end of the year. And - he would like to go to market selling these robots as early as next year.
What is unheard of or uncommon today, will become common shortly. Like what? Driving down the street and seeing robots cutting the grass. Musk wants the price points on buying or leasing robots so low, many will be able to have a robot for home use. The robot will be able to do inside chores, outside chores, play games with you, cook your food, guard your house when you are not home and so forth. But be careful - the first time you see a robot cutting the grass, you might drive off the road!
My advice is to enjoy Elon Musk as he continues to thrive and push different technologies forward. Guys like Elon come around once every hundred or so years. How so? Elon is a very rare breed. He makes very hard stuff seem very easy. And we are ALL benefiting from that skill of Elon Musk.
