Terror, continued (again)

I am more afraid than ever that our endless War on Terror is going to go on for a long, long time. How have been doing so far? So-so I would say. We have some successes, and then another band of Islamic Terrorists pops up someplace else on the planet. I have my own theory on how long this is going to take and what it will take to bring it to an end. More on that in a bit.

This morning I happened to breeze by the Morning Joe program as I was getting up. In the past, I would watch it from time to time to get some perspective from what the dark side was thinking. No longer. They have turned into a "one trick pony" - for a variety of "offenses", Donald Trump must go. Blah, blah, blah. Ever since Joe has been shacking up with Mika, it seems he is drinking her bath water.

Right now, the current story is that Trump committed high treason by giving (not leaking) some classified info concerning ISIS to Lavrov and Kislyak. First off, it was within his purview to do so. But bigger than that, I am starting to understand how President Trump thinks. If something is not working well, or not working at all, he wants to try something else - and fast. Since Russia also has a terror problem from ISIS and other Islamic groups, it was only a matter of sharing intel with a partner (although an unofficial partner) to help in this endless War on Terror.

It was also reported during this past week that one of OBL's sons has vowed revenge on us for killing his poor old dad. He says that Al Qaeda is now up and running, and better than ever. He has vowed to conduct attacks on our homeland. Whether this is just bluster or fact is unknown to me. Probably is known quite well to H. R. McMaster and his team.

One final thought. On social media the other day, someone posted yet another beheading by these savages in the Middle East. In fact, there was a pile of bodies of some poor souls who had just suffered the same fate. These people are pure evil. They are without souls. There is no redemption possible for them.

One of my favorite lines from The Godfather was when Michael said it was "time to take care of all family business." I think it is time that our "Godfather" (that be President Trump) make an agreement with Russia and our NATO allies to take care of the North Korea, Iran and Islamic State business. Get it done, so our world can please, please, live in peace at least for a while.
