Biden's Buddy and Basement

"2020 will be the election between an iconoclast and a Washington player. The iconoclast does nothing but fix things - the Washington player however, just keeps the status quo - or worse."

After being up north for a few days, my batteries have been recharged. Totally, recharged. I mean, I was fired up before I left. That is for the re-election of the President. But driving though HARD CORE Trump Country, was a shot in the arm for me. It once again, drove home just how important it is to get this man re-elected. How devastating it would be for the country, maybe even the world, to have Joe the basement hermit elected. We would be replacing a man who is owned by nobody, to a swamp dweller who was, and is, owned by everybody. Our government would be filled up with Hunter Biden wannabes.

If I were a Democrat, and had to support the ticket of Biden/Harris, I just might just throw up in my mouth. With this ticket, there is no "there, there" (to quote Slick Willie). Biden has done spit in his 47 years, of sucking off the government teat. Harris is an opportunist extraordinaire, (right Willie Brown?).

At least when we ran Bob Dole and Jack Kemp against Slick Willie and ALGORE, we ran two men of high (very high), character. But that was it. Dole and Kemp could not match the pizzazz of Mr. Boxer Shorts and the Climate Wizard. As much as we supported the Dole and Kemp ticket, we knew it would probably be a lost cause. And it was.

This year, in 2020, we don't have phonies like Clinton and Gore running for re-election. We have possibly the BEST President/Vice President team - ever. It is so very refreshing! I honored John McCain's service to this country.

While in the service, I worked for his McCain's dad, (when I first went in). I remember John McCain as a POW. But as a Senator, McCain was lacking. So when the ticket of McCain/Palin was to run against Obama/Biden, if was going to really be a long shot. Most of us liked Palin - she had a great story. But McCain has too much time in the Washington parlor, and the trust level for him, from the patriots and citizens, was tepid at best. We all know the result of that election.

Then came the ObamaCare mess. The economy was in the tank, and our first mixed race president was operating more like a Sandinista than a Democrat. Obama's Vice President was more useless than (never mind), and the Obama/Biden re-election was far from certain. The RNC decided to run another long term RINO (Romney) and a "dollars and cents" guy from the House named Paul Ryan. Even though this ticket did not wet anyone's appetite, Obama was SO vulnerable, we backed Romney and Ryan.

Then came the final debate when Romney had Obama on a very important issue. Right then, Romney had him. He could have unleashed an uppercut, and left Obama looking like the leftist he was. But no - for reasons many of us will never understand, Romney gave him some slack. Let him off the hook. Just enough slack to allow him to finish the debate unscathed. Decision - Obama in the re-election.

In 2016, we had this guy come out of nowhere. Some rich builder from Manhattan. He told us Washington was broken (yup!), and he knew how to fix it. He won the nomination, and he and his running mate were up against the heir apparent to the throne - Hillary and her Antifa (father) husband. Slowly, we all warmed up to this guy who did not speak Washington speak. In fact, sometimes, his language was way too abrupt. Too harsh. But when he won, he did what he said. He did what he promised to do. All of a sudden, America started looking great again.

What does all this mean? 2020 will be THE election for the ages. The race between an iconoclast and a Washington player. The iconoclast does nothing but fix things - the Washington player will just keeps the status quo - or worse.

People ask, why support Trump is this election? Until 2016, most of us have wondered in the wilderness. Then in 2016, we bet for an inside straight with this builder from NYC. And it was a winning bet.

If we allow him to continue, Donald Trump will take this country further than it ever has before. But - if we take Biden - it will be back to the future - all over again. And then it will be over. No more America. No more American Experience.
