Ain't gonna be Uncle Joe

"So long Joe. It has been good knowing you. You have been entertaining (some what). But that constant anger - maybe a course in anger management will help. Fighting all the time is not good for you. Not good for anyone. And certainly not good for America."

I find it interesting how the Democrats have somehow managed to find themselves in a box canyon. Why? How? Overplaying their hand (big a large margin) on the Bret Kavanaugh SCOTUS hearings. They did not have one scintilla of evidence, but that did not seem to matter. It was the culmination of the coveted "Me Too" movement for the Democrats. But it failed, and Kavanaugh was sworn in. The bar had then been set at a new low.

Enter Uncle Joe, for his long awaited final try for the White House. Only Joe has now gone as far as he will go on the quest. Why? The "Me Too" movement. Seems that Uncle Joe, a serial groper and hair smelling aficionado, is being accused of doing a bit more than hair smelling with a young lady from decades ago. And unlike Kavanaugh, where there was no proof, this one has a smoking gun. And Democrats, especially the female types, who were excoriating Kavanaugh over nothing, are lining up to pledge allegiance to Uncle Joe.

Kind of reminds me when Clinton was in office. Even though he had a list of dalliances which stretched from Maine to San Diego, the women's lip movement cared not. Why not you might wonder? Clinton loved abortions. And for the lip movement, the chance to kill one's own baby overruled any parlor romance this President might have had outside of marriage. Even getting a bj in the Oval Office was not a disqualifier for Slick Willie.

I suppose the same is true for Biden. This abortion thing. Even though the Catholic Church is probably inches away from throwing him out over abortion, the fact he loves abortion has cleared the decks for the lip movement to excuse any sexual peccadillo he might have had at some time. How much is Joe in solid with the DNC inner circle? Even Hillary, has endorsed Uncle Joe - peccadillo and all. I guess she is used to it.

However, what I have just enumerated about Uncle Joe is not enough for the DNC to give him the heave ho. For the DNC (I will quote Rush), have a flawed sexual background is worn like a badge of honor. No, it is his ever apparent dementia. Joe is not a well man. He can not put a cogent thought together. He gets confused in the maze, and what comes out of his mouth is often word salad. Even keeping him under wraps in his basement is not helping. Come the DNC convention, look for someone healthier, with a less embarrassing past, to get the nod.

So long Joe. It has been good knowing you. You have been entertaining (some what). But that constant anger - maybe a course in anger management will help. Fighting all the time is not good for you. Not good for anyone. And certainly not good for America.

  1. My question remains: having trapped themselves in this "BOX canyon" how do they rescue themselves? Certainly Biden does not have a majority of delegates yet, and more than one person could be nominated at convention, among whom delegates could decide, but who would that be? Most of the names previously in the race have been rejected during the primary, so....? Predictions?

    1. One of the Governors. A younger one, no memory issues, and not quite as feelie, meelie as Uncle Joe is. Maybe Cuomo, maybe Newsome, maybe a female Governor.

  2. Trump is playing this brilliantly, so that Governors (especially Democrats like Cuomo, Whitmer and Newsom, even Walz) are going to take the blame for damaging the Trump economy (unnecessarily). That won't stop Dems from dropping Joe, but I can't imagine them finding a much better choice, especially when so many have endorsed Joe already.
