The danger of naivete

"I'm sorry. I have had it big time. If President Trump gave North Korea a 48 hour ultimatum tonight, I would be ecstatic. If we started going after ISIS with the same fever that Russia does, I would stand and cheer."

I am starting to know more and more people who live on the other side of the political hi-way who wear either rose colored glasses, drink the kool aide, or take the "blue pill". Or - maybe all three. Yes, these are the globalists, the hate America first crowd, and the open border enthusiasts. In other words, the folks who sleep in bed every night with their own naivete.

Here is the bottom line. Did you know that one of the scenarios that Homeland Security (yes, even during the Obama years) plans for is a low yield nuke going off in one of our cities? And not just a city like New York or Washington. Any city. The example they use is Oklahoma City. Who would have guessed that would have been the target of Tim McVeigh?

What I find interesting in a twisted way is this - part of our government is planning for a nightmare scenario, and yet other parts of our government are fine with having our borders look like Swiss cheese. Well, I am not okay with our borders being the way they are. I am not okay with the Norks having an ICBM and a militarized nuke. I am not okay with Iran developing nukes. And I am not okay with the Norks now having a workable EMP package. 

The closest our heartland has ever come to being hit with a WMD was on 9/11. And that was just some jets filled to the brim with jet fuel. Things could get a whole lot worse and quickly. Like with a nuke, a bio or chemical weapon. And for those who think we deserve everything which comes to us, I have some sage advice. Our fences to keep people out may be porous, but the fences to keep people in are non-existent. It you don't like it here - leave. Get the blank out of here. And those of you who don't like our current POTUS, don't let the door hit you on the hinnie on the way our. We had to endure 8 long years of the "great nothingness".

If this post sounds like I am bitching, your darn right I am! I am sick and tired of seeing on social media, Islamic Terrorists doing unspeakable horrors to innocent people. There was more posted again today. I am sick and tired of some little kid in North Korea threatening us every week with destruction and then watching the Norks advance their nuclear program. I am sick to death of countries like Iran snookering us in negotiations and then letting them build a nuclear program which will threaten Israel, Europe and eventually us. 

I want our borders secured, our visa system fixed, our defenses strengthened. And if anyone here thinks that is "Un-American", they can move to Canada. Oh - by the way. We defend Canada also with our nuclear shield.

We don't want to live like this any more! We are the number # 1 super power in the world dang it, let's start acting like it!
