Yesterday when we were out and about on a very soggy day, I was listening to the radio in the car. One of the stations I was listening had a national feed from a major cable news station. And on that station was a retired judge - a man who knows the law quite well. Subject - Hillary Clinton's email server, and the FBI.
It seems news leaked that Hillary's former aide, Cheryl Mills walked out of FBI questioning session for a short period of time. She did not want to answer any questions about the email server. Thought they were out of bounds. She said she had "attorney client privileges", with Hillary so those questions were inappropriate. After a while she came back in with her lawyer and further questioning skirted around the issue.
Now here is the judge's take. The group of agents who are doing the investigation into Hillary's server are the SAME group of agents who investigated retired General David Petraeus. For a much minor offense, the general was found guilty. Why? For not handling classified material the proper way. He was sentenced to two years probation and fined $40,000. The Justice Department and the FBI were criticized for only giving the general (a national hero mind you) a "slap on the wrist".
Fast forward to Hillary. With her 1,000 plus classified emails stored on an unauthorized server, with a handful of them being so highly classified, so compartmentalized, that the Senate oversight committee was not even cleared to look at them, Hillary' transgressions made Petraeus look like a choir boy.

To sum up his interview, the judge said Hillary is really caught between the devil and deep blue sea. In other words, there is no way out for her without suffering some kind of damage. Or to put it in my words, this is a mess for her of biblical proportions. She can cackle, laugh and cough all she wants when questioned about this issue - but I believe she knows her campaign is already taking on water because of it.
One final thing. More and more people are now thinking the main reason Bernie is staying in the race until the convention is this issue. If Hillary is delivered a gut shot by the Justice Department, it will all but kill her campaign. Then we will either have "Smoking Joe" jump in at the convention, or our local socialist will be heading up the ticket.
What am I going to do? I am just going to buy a ticket, get some popcorn, and watch the fun.
